I was here with my parents last night, for dinner. Their continental items are really good. We had ordered for cream of chicken, grilled chicken in BBQ and speghetti. The food was served hot and fresh. We loved it.
Staffs- It actually feels like a family!!! You'll always get amazed by the way they behaves so politie.
Ambience- A dark and calm ambience that actually a stress feeding place. That makes this place even more prettified
Food- food are actually to affordable and good they also comes with many combo offers.
A great place to hangout with friends, enjoy a game and as it is located in an industrial area you can hangout with your co-workers as well. Food is great and the place is a very sporty look.
Very nice place to have a few drinks after work. The menu is pretty economical and easy on your pocket. They have a variety of combo offers on drinks and food on offer. Therefore, plenty of options to choose from. Have deducted one star for the quality of food and service.
What's there to not like!? Cheap booze, decent food and no blaring speakers! Located in the Globsyn building in sector 5. Decent bar, however, if you're too sophisticated, don't go.
I went there with my family. Foods were delicious. We are Happy and Satisfied with the foods and services as well. Wish to go there again...
Situtated in IT Hub Sector V, Ek Drink is one of the best place to have some beer or food.
The ambience is quite peaceful and the music is also quite good and not too loud.
Last time when we were at the restaurant, we orderd beer and Babycorn all were awesome.

Visited "Ek Drink" with my food-loving buddy( just like me) Soura Kanti Dasย on Diwali. It was a normal office day for us and we simply could not let the day pass with only office and no fun. Hence, we grabbed the Rs 599 Coupon on Nearbuy for the 4-Course Indian Dinner and we were in for a delightful experience.
Look and Feel : The ambiance was similar to a place which is cool enough to hang out with friends and sophisticated just enough to not make you feel conscious in case you are clumsy like me . There was a spacious dining area with smaller tables at the center and bigger ones closer to the walls. Sports enthusiasts will find the huge TV for screening matches and the two Table soccer Boards welcoming. There was a Bar counter as well. The area was dimly lit with the Bar counter contributing most of the light.
Staff and Service: The staff were polite and ready to help. Service was prompt. As it was the occasion of Diwali, the Management was thoughtful enough to serve us each a complementary Gulaab Jamun. Impressed with the gesture!
Food: Many will agree that there is a magic in the Indian cuisine which never fails to hypnotize our taste buds. Here is what we were served :
* Murg Dhania Shorba: For a moment I could ditch all the Chinese soups and be lost in the perfect blend of the Indian Spices. It was a rich, tangy broth cooked with small pieces of chicken and had the flavor of coriander seeds. Something I would definitely recommend.
*Chicken Tikka: Smoky, spicy and well-cooked. It did win hearts like it always does whenever served before a foodie.
*Chicken Butter Masala: Rich with spices, toned down with its creamy texture and perfected with the butter, aromatic and delicious it was.
*Jeera Rice: This was the first time I tasted Jeera Rice without regretting it. Either it was too good or I had been tasting the wrong stuff before.
*Tandoori Roti : Soft and usual. Nothing special.
*Dhaabe wali daal : Now this was a twist to the normal masoor dal (I hope I got it right) with some spices and I loved it. Glad that we tried something different from the usual Dal Makhani/ Tadka.
*Soft Drink and a scoop of Vanilla ice-cream:ย I wish they could be little more generous with the ice-cream. Not complaining though :Pย
Overall great value for money. More visits will be made.ย

I don't live in Kolkata and this is the first time i have experienced this place and definitely after going back to Bangalore would like to take the positives from this place (Ek Drink). Though i had mixed experience over here but still i would personally rate this place with 4.5 stars since no option to give 4.5 stars i would give it 4 as there is always scope of improvement. I have visited this place twice once during the Durga Puja and last week.
I would like divide it into Pros and Cons:
Cons:i) The quality of crowd is average because people visiting the place often forget their limit (due to the pocket friendly pricing, offers and end up over drinking) and i have personally witnessed two instances where i feel the management should have been more stringent in handling these types of issues.
Pros:i) Great Combo Offers along with the drinks.
ii) I found the service people to be very friendly and the ambiance is also good.
iii) I have spoken to management people over there and they are easy to approach and accepts suggestions very positively.
iv) I have tried Drumstick, fish fingers french fries, where there was nothing to complain about not sure about other items. But i personally feel you cannot impress everyone when it comes to taste of food, as people have different types of taste buds.
Before leaving Kolkata i have plans to visit this place again which i will try today or tomorrow and hope to get the same type of experience again ( without the Cons of-course)Keep up the good work. Kudos to everyone in Ek Drink.. God Bless

This is a new place that has opened in globsyn crystals! I have no idea as to why their rating is so low,But honestly speaking I loved the place.
Firstly the ambience is to drool for,Huge rooms with tall ceilings.
Secondly their happy hours menu is something good but then its much more profitable when a group of 5-6 or more goes.Its not for couple.Basically a couple has to go for A-la-carte.
Now coming to the food,the food tastes quite good and quantity is also quite okay๐ I loved their chinese much more. Will visit it again for sure.Staff behaviour is also appreciable๐
But one suggestion is that they should improve their taste of music.Lol๐

Pretty good! As the name suggests it's a better place for a drink or two, not so much if you are looking for a diner.
I got myself a nearbuy offer, had everything chicken - hot and sour soup, drums of heaven, chicken in hot garlic sauce, fried rice and hakka noodles. As it was a combo meal, I believe the quantity had been cut down to fit it's pricing. I have to say, their service is great, I would recommend this place purely based on how accommodating their service is. On the taste part, well it falls short on my expectations. Other than that it's a better place in the neighborhood.

nice place. the main attraction is a big projected screen for live sports screening. food is good. they have some introductory offers like one plate tandoori chicken complimentary with 4/5 bottle of beer. ambience wise there is much scope to improvise.
A good place for outing... Liquor is really very cheap and the food quality also very nice... You may get any offer on drinks or food and that offer is really amazing... Ambiance is also good...If you are looking for cheap restaurant you must go there...
One fine Sunday evening, we decided to visit a random eatery and landed up here. For the first time perhaps we just went to a place without any R&D and BINGO! The place didn't disappoint us. Equipped with an appealing decor and mouth watering delicacies this newbie successfully qualifies for weekend dineout in sector 5. We tried bhuna prawn ( bit overpriced), masala kulcha, butter naan, Rara Chicken ( absolute yumm it was ) and nolen gurer rosogolla(tasted heavenly), indeed it was a tasty treat! Looking forward to visit the place very soon again.. :)

High standards quality food, same taste whenever I visit them. My favorite is Indian tandoor and Chinese. Today enjoying T20 ON GIANT SCREEN LIVE MATCH with my 10 friends. Wow what a tandoori chicken.
Excellent taste and they will served fresh food.I order mutton rara Panjabi and romali roti.The mutton rara Panjabi is the excellent preparation.There kabab also soo good.The Staff also very friendly and well groomed.I really enjoyed.

Recently went there with nearbuy coupons...the place is nice,spacious...and has a large screen which is there main attraction...the food was really delicious but the amount was too little otherwise its a nice place for a tasty meal...
Visited this place for office lunch last month. Its a beautifully decorated big and spacious food joint. The environment was excellent. We had Chicken Biriyani, Raita and Ice Cream. The biriyani was very tasty and the quantity was sufficient for me. Overall nice experience. But need to visit once for and try different dishes for a full fledged and thorough rating.

I started my pandal hopping this puja with all good food in my tummy at my favourite place EK DRINK CLUB. Watched Live cricket match on giant screen " the only biggest screen in entire Salt Lake ". Had Chinese and Tandoori with my entire family.

Well, another upcoming cafรฉ in Sector 5 โ but quite different from the mediocre ones!
They have recently opened up in the Globsyn Builsing, nearby the College More. Space is huge and the giant projector screen does catch your attention. This could easily become the next hangout place for IPL and FIFA lovers!
I ordered a special thali comprising:-
(i) Butter Roti โ Nicely done, pretty soft
(ii) Chhola โ Garlic paste reducing its taste
(iii) Yellow daal โ Fine, but should have been served boiling
(iv) Aloo bhendi - Decent
(v) Pulao โ A true winner
(vi) Papad
(vii) Salads
(viii) Rosogolla
All items were pretty tasty โ you can pretty much make out the BONG flavours implying the chef is a Bong himself.
I ended with the mint coated mouth freshener saunf โ which was again a winner.
Pocket pinch was reasonable and service is good. Thumbs up to the ambience as well as the dรฉcor!

Food qualities r awesome...the mutton biryani and raita was mouth watering.. specially I liked the smell of ghee in Biriyani...then m coming to Chinese food it was really good specially the soup and drums of haven..the staffs are very professional, ambience is ideal for group hang out...they have a big projector so it is there special attraction.i have jus one complain y do u provide low amount of food.. otherwise Ek Drink is awesome..
This place is in the globsyn building. And I must say it was worth a visit. The food was really delicious and the prices are really economical. I would recommend everyone to give it a visit. And I bet you won't be disappointed.

Tried the Unlimited Lunch Buffet Offer at Rs.585(+tax). The buffet menu has Tandoori Aloo, Tandoori Wings, American Corn Salt+Pepper and Kasturi Chicken as starters. The main course include Steam rice, Sona moong daal, jhuri Aloo bhaja, Chinri malai curry, Doi katla, Kacha Lanka Murgi, Kochi Pathar jhol and assorted bread. And in desserts they have Papad, chatni, Rasogolla and ice cream. All of these were unlimited. And the taste of the food was very yummy and delicious. Coming to the ambience, its pretty amazing and has exciting games too. Apart from this Pujo unlimited lunch buffet, they also have various combos on drinks starting from Rs.249.

Ek Drink club is located at Globsyn Crystals Building at Salt Lake Sector V. The property is well spaced out. The ambience is decent. They have some games like foosball & darts for customers. They are currently offering a steal deal as their buffet is priced at Rs 325. The lunch buffet runs throughout the week i.e, Monday to Sunday. The buffet has both Chinese and Indian section. They have also included a fish item in such a low priced buffet which is really commendable. For desserts they only have ice-cream that being it would be a crime asking for more options in dessert considering the entire menu and the price.
