Ordered mezban special Chicken Biryani from here which had 2pieces of jumbo Chicken and one egg and aloo.the taste was so perfect and delicious..but the price is bit high...
Whenever we have a craving for kebabs then mezban comes to our minds. Many a times we go ourselves and pickup from the restaurant and we also do order in. The reshmi kebabs and tikka kebabs are our favourite

Well, I generally do have some reservations with respect to ordering from places selling majorly non veg – but sometimes, I do try out a vegetarian dish or two from such places!
This time it was my turn to try out a “Chatpatta Baby Corn” from this restaurant named – Mezban, based somewhere in Ripon Street!
The name does catch your attention, since baby corns are generally sweet – but not tangy in general!
This was indeed a novel dish, baby corn prepared like a snack instead of a starter - chatpata i.e. pretty tangy indeed and very very tasty!
They marinated the same with remote quantum of chopped veggies as well to enhance the flavours! Excellent food presentation, decent quantity, quality as well as packing are the other features of this dish which makes it stand out from the others!
Pocket pinch is pretty acceptable!

2x Chk Biryani combo, the rice was cooked well, excellent creamy texture. Big chunky chicken pieces & enough rice for 1. Loved it more then other renowned restaurants out there. Specially the price is a steal. Great deal & really value for money. Will order again soon
Order Chicken Bharta and Mutton Biryani for dinner from here last night. Loved their Chicken Bharta and it was one of the best Chicken Bharta i had in recent night. In mutton biryani mutton were not so soft which has disappointed me.

So I ordered mutton keema (110 ruppes) and tandoori roti (12 ruppes) from Mezban- Park Street , Kolkata .A plate of mutton keema is enough for 2 people. 2 tandoori should suffice anybody's hunger.
1.Tandoori rotis- It was one of the best tandoori rotis I have eaten so far. Its big, I mean quite big. Its so much soft not at all hard. Rating- 9/10
2. Mutton keema - It was so good as expected from Mezban. The portion size was quite good. A lot of mutton fat (which tastes good here with the keema, believe me on that) with the keema.It has a great texture. Softness of the fat and a little something to chew from the keema.... It's a pure bliss for sure with tandoori roti. It would go good with any type of rotis . Rating -10/10 ( i really loved it)
3. Packaging- The mutton keema came in a normal container. No spilling or anything . The tandoori roti came is a normal newspaper wrap which made it cold. A foil packet would have been preferred always. The order came in a plastic bag, a bag with a biodegradable material would have been preferred always. Rating - 7/10

We ordered from Mezban. My maternal uncle aunt and cousin came to our place..Chicken Biriyani was really tasty..Tandoori Chicken pieces were nice but it was too hot...never had such hot tandoori Murgh before otherwise ok. Reasonably priced..portion size is good too. Might order again.
In the oreder it was written they will give 4 pcs of tikka but when i recieved i got only 2 pieces of tikka in the biriyani . Taste was good but for 200 only two pieces of small tikka was not worth it .
I've been eating from Mezban for the past 20 years. I have no complaints regarding the food taste or the quantity.
I had ordered for Mutton Tikiya and Rumali Roti. This combination was just too good. The Mutton Tikiya was amazing with the thick gravy which went perfectly with the Rumali Rotis.
Will definitely order again.

Recently I had food delivered from Mezban. I had ordered for Mutton Biryani and Chicken Bharta. The packaging was great. The portion size was absolutely ideal for a single person. Coming to the taste, the biryani tasted amazing. It had a good mixture of spices. The piece of mutton was cooked to perfection. The chicken bharta was good as well. However, I being a gravy lover expected a bit more gravy to accompany with the food. Overall it's a great place which serves good food at pocket friendly prices and I'm looking forward to ordering food from Mezban again.
Oho! Delicious 😋😋. I ordered Mix Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken, Naan and Paneer Masala. Each and every item was soo delicious and fresh. It take almost 20 minutes to deliver after being prepared the food and had them after another 10 minutes. But it never seems that we're taking them after half an hour. It was fresh and hot as it is in the restaurant. Love it.

I frequently order from Mezban and the kebabs are a winner!! And the biryani is also good. Chicken tikka kebab, Chicken Reshmi kebabs and the Mahi tikka kebab are a must try.

Taste is Good. Pricing is moderate. In comparison to similar restaurants, I felt starters were priced a bit high but taste well. Main course gravy taste well and were budget friendly but comparatively lesser quantity. Biryani was also moderate - not spicy. Not everyone will like it especially those who love biryanis on spicier side.
Improvements should be done in terms of varieties and innovations. More dishes should be welcomed in an innovative style. I know many people still like the traditional way but then there are many who is looking for the change
Place is awasome, feel old mughlai style restaurants. Food is no doubt too good. Biryani & Mutton Stew must try. Kebabs are also so juicy and tender.

Mezban is a famous restaurant on Ripon st. serving mostly Mughlai foods. I went there in a winter morning to have the Mutton Nihari. I really liked the taste. There was no overpowering aroma and the meat was very tender. You can have either tandoori roti or dalpuri with the Nihari.
Price: Half plate 150/- (1 piece mutton), full plate 280/- (2 piece).

Accomodation is not bad. They have another outlet adjacent to it. One can try their chicken kassa, rezala, stew, Nan,tandoori roti, paratha. Chicken tandoori and kebabs are delicious but pricing may be reconsidered. When it comes to chicken and mutton biryanis some amendments may be required. The vicinity has some vibes. They have late night services and breakfast facility.
Delicious food. Our group of 5 shared 3 plates of biryani as well as one curry and one very large kebab. It was all tasty. We had the chicken cheese kebab which was unusual but tasty. It is huge and is best as a side shared with at least 3 or 4 people.

One of the best places for biriyani and chap. Apart from that Chinese dishes served here. I liked mutton nihari also. Location is backside of park Street. Ambience is good. Food prices are moderate. You will get different types of kebab and roll also. Quality of food is good. Online delivery option available through swiggy and zomato. They accept both cash and UPI payment.

However they use dalda vanaspati for most of the items. So after sometime, the gravy solidifies. The ambience and service are very ordinary. Car parking is a problem.

Excellent food with good quantity and excellent taste. Preparations are mouth watering and eye luring. They are mainly famous for mughlai cuisines but chinese dishes are also too good. A fuision cuisine comprising of mixed Fried rice and mutton tikia is great to taste on an experimental night. The ambience of the restaurant is also cool.
Nice restaurant. Food quality is decent. But parking is tough because of the narrow road. Right side a takeaways couner available. I will suggest not go with two wheeler. Because only opositive foothpath is the only place for bike Parking.
I had ordered Tandoori Rotis, Mutton Tikya & Firni from Mezban, via Zomato. First things first, the tandoori rotis were big in terms of size, but average in terms of taste & quality.
The Mutton Tikya, which came with a big chunk of mutton and a little oily gravy was good/normal in taste, but nothing extraordinary. However, the Firni, although the quantity served was pretty less, yet it tasted really good. So, my overall food quality rating for this restaurant would be 3.5 stars on 5.
