My evening became lovely with a wonderful fish roll and fish fry served hot at the golpark outlet! The fish was absolutely fresh Bhetki! They serve fresh fried hot fish with mustard sauce and salad! The quality and quantity is too good for one person... The size of the fish kobiraji was gigantic... But the place is not suitable for eating... Only one table on the roadside is available for eating so i deduced one star...

Ordered lachha paratha and chilli chicken combo for just Rs. 100/- They gave 2 large parathas with 2 piece chilli chicken. The parathas were really nice, crispy but soft. Chilli chicken was very tasty and they provided ample gravy as was instructed while ordering. Mitra cafe has always lived upto my expectations. Kudos!
There are few items that this joints has, which are must try, Fish Kabiraji is one of them. I feel lot of big neme can not make fish Kabiraji like this small joint makes.

Tried prawn kabiraji and chicken stew. Both are worthy of 5 stars. The kabiraji was fried in a light and crispy batter which made the taste heavenly. And the chicken stew had a light broth yet and astounding taste. Would go there again.

I tried chicken kabiraji from this golpark outlet. Taste was good... it's nice that they keep up the taste of food with the original mitra cafe restaurant.
But it's basically for take away. Because there's only one table to seat. I think they need to work on their sitting arrangement so that the 'tradition' remains the same. Hope for the best.

So the other day I ordered from this restaurant I've heard so much about. My friends literally swear by their fish items! I ordered Fish Fingers and Special Diamond Fry. The fish fingers were so crispy and juicy. Unlike other restaurants who serve fish fingers, where you can hardly see the fish and only the thick coating, here the taste abd feel of the fish was quite distinct. The spexi5 diamond fry was also a fish item. The coating here was also nice and crisp and in no way overshadowed the fish! With Kashundi dipping (Indian mustard sauce!) , it tasted divine! Go ahead guys! Give those fish fingers a try at Mitra Café!!

It is a street side stall kind of a shop located just beside the south city collage but trust me it offers really great food at decent prices they don't have any seating arrangements you have to much on by standing in front of the shop but the taste compensates for that discomfort so it's worth it to give it a try

A legend from north kolkata. The sad reality is we don't have much good quality chop and cutlet shops in South Kolkata. Post pandemic visit. Loved their mutton chop and fish fry. Mitra Cafe was just upto it's name and reputation. We ordered their famous chicken kabiraji and hakka egg chow. And boy, the kabiraji was damn delicious. The noodle, i personally felt could a bit more rich as the taste was bland and could have been better. The staff was very polite and should look out a bit more for hygiene.
I love how their Chicken Afghani tastes - vivid, rich, delicate and spicy. Their rolls are a little more than average. Summing it up, I do think they're one of those classic corners in the city who make good food at a very reasonable price.

Ordered for the legendary kabirajis from here. Fish and chicken kabiraji both were amazing in taste and the packaging was neat and clean. Would like to order more from here to try the famous diamond fish fry.
Visited this place recently and due to time constraints could only try an egg roll :) Service was fast and taste was also commendable. Wish to try a few more items sooner than later. It's basically more of a takeaway outlet, so nothing much to say about the sitting and ambience stuff.

An excellent destination for food lovers with some amazing dishes like fish kaviraji & chicken and Mutton also. Limited choice for vegetarian but whatever it is unbeatable, I'd tried veg. Chop veg roll which was an amazing experience for me.
In one word it is awesome. Must tries are fish kabiraji and fish butter fry. They have fantastic rolls also which are big and thick and full of chickens. Their chicken moglai will be my next try. And we weren't disappointed at all.
