A small cosy place to dine with your friends and family. China Wok , located just beside the Triangular Park is the best Chinese and Thai restaurant I came across. They have lots of variety in their menu.
Starters like -
Tom yum soup veg, Spicy Lemon broth veg and chicken - I guess we all have tasted soups before but what makes China wok different is their distinctive taste of lemon grass. I personally liked it.
Bangkok crispy noodle salad with Kaffir lime -
And one good thing about their staters is that they know how to experiment. Like have you heard something called noodle salads before???? Well China Wok is actually making them exceptionally well. The sweet crispy texture of the noodles along with small chunks of tomatoes and onions is perfectly fine to start your day.
Other Starters you can try -
Asian barbequed chicken wings, Red pepper chicken, Thai chilli potatoes -these we equally good in taste.
Main course be like -
Exotic vegetables in black pepper and Basil sauce, Stir fried chicken with soy and cashew nuts, Chilli basil fish with bird's eye chilli,China Wok Signature rice.
On the dessert section you can try the Toffeed cashew nuts with vanilla ice cream and Darsaan with ice cream. The first one is mainly two vanilla ice cream with roasted cashews and with the base being caramelized with toffees and the later is mainly two scoops of vanilla ice cream served with Wonton cheese.
I had a lovely experience dining at China wok along with my fellow bloggers.
I am sure your visit will be worth a million times. Happy eating folks.
The best place to satisfy your Wok cravings. From dumplings to Spring rolls, from authentic Chinese to aroma clad Thai food, you get the best of what you want.

Excellent Thai Tom Yum soup. Nice food taste and quality. Price is on higher side.
Cosy environment & lip smacking delicious meal! Will visit there again
Ordered mixed noodle and mixed rice. Both tasted good. However, the noodle was slightly oily. Would be even better if it's made with lesser oil. Looking forward at trying the other dishes too.
A nice little Chinese restaurant on the Purna Das Road, near the Triangular Park. Serves very tasty food and has got got courteous staffs as well. It is worth mentioning that they don't use Ajinamoto in their preparation therefore quite good for health. I haven't tried much of their dishes except for fried rice, a chicken side and cantonese noodles. Looking forward to try the other dishes as well in the near future. Do visit this place !
I visited this place during Durga Puja. Had to wait in a small queue but was called in very quickly. The place is very small and cozy but is quite comfortable. One thing is that you won't be getting any privacy, the tables are placed very closed to each other. Now coming to the food, well taste was very good and was prepared very quickly. We had ordered for Kung Pao Chicken and Mixed Hakka Noodles. Both the items were very good.
Food - 4/5
Ambience - 3/5

Few days back visited this place to try out some authentic chinese dishes. Located at the heart of South Kolkata ( Hindustan Park) China Wok is a pure chinese restaurant. Nice place with good ambience but its a small place with maximum capacity of 10-15 people. The staffs are great here and the service was good.
Starting with :-
Chicken Sweet Corn Soup :- The soup was thick and lovely in taste. Had two bowls.
China Wok Soup :- China Wok Special soup contains prawns and it was great too.
Honey Glazed Pork :- Recommending this dish. The pork was very soft and tossed in honey.
Mixed Hakka Noodles and Tausi Chicken all we had for main course. It was great in taste.
Thanks China Wok for the amazing hospitality.

Recently went here to try some oriental delicacies from this small eatery located near Triangular Park.
The restaurant is small with seating capacity of around 15 people at a time and the ambience is neat and well lit.The view from the window and the fairy lights give it an aesthetic appeal.
Also, dont underestimate this place because its small. They have some great oriental food at very reasonable prices.
The menu is not very widespread but whatever we tried made here worth coming.
We had their soup, starters, mains and dessert.
▫️Soups
🔸️China Wok Special Fish soup-This soup will simply blow you.Never had a fish soup before. Also, never had a clear soup so good before.
🔹️Sweet corn Soup-A very lightly soup tasted okayish.
▫️Starters
🔸️Honey Glazed Pork-Honey is pork's best friend and this dish holds true for it.Simply loved this starter. If you love pork, take it without any thought.
🔹️Pan Fried Chicken Momo-Not a big fan momos, but these pan fried momos tossed in semi spicy sauce is a big yay.
🔸️Garlic pepper chicken-Simply loved this starter. The chicken pieces were so soft that I can't even.
▫️Mains
🔸️Ginger capsicum chicken rice-A little bland but goes nicely with any spicy side.
🔹️Egg Hakka Noodles-I loved the noodles. It was less oily and perfectly spiced up.
🔸️Tausi Chicken-This dish went nicely with rice.It was again low spicy, tender and great to taste.
🔹️Sliced Fish in Chili oyester sauce-The fish slices were soft and nicely cooked.
▫️Dessert
🔸️Brownie with ice cream-Old is gold.Yes,this is a basic yet all time favourite dessert. The brownies were hot & fresh and obviously tasted great with vanilla ice cream.
Loved this little cosy place with great food, nice ambience and good service.
Pocket pinch for two- 900/- for a great meal.
China Wok basically serves authentic chinese dishes. This place can accommodate 15-20 people approx. This place is very cozy and well decorated. China wok is located at triangular park.
You can full fill your cravings for chinese dishes here.
I visited this place a week ago and had a great experience over here.
So we ordered --
🔸Chicken Sweet Corn Soup - This soup's consistency was perfect and it was delicious.
🔸China Wok Special Soup - Highly recommending this soup. It was really yummy. It contains prawns , coriander leaves.

🔸Tausi chicken - It also tasted good and chicken pieces were soft and delicious.
🔸Brownie With Ice cream - As Dessert is my favourite part of the meal and they know how to please. The Brownie was perfectly made.
Guys do visit this place with your chinese lover friends.
Located just beside Sudipar Rannaghor in Triangular Park this strictly Chinese joint will surprise you with the variety and the taste. The decor is minimun but perfectly executed. The service personnel seemed polite and they listened to the customers.
Now coming into the food the signature China Wok special soup was a surprise as it was one great way start off and set the tone for the rest of the items. The soup contained seafood and was an explosion of flavors and is highly recommended. Followed by Pan Fried dimsums and chicken with garlic and pepper made me happy as everything was unique and has a very authentic Oriental feel to it. Honey glazed pork was average and felt a little rubbery.
In the mains the noodles was really succulent and the quantity seemed good enough for two if you are having 3 courses. The burnt ginger rice was okay and I had raw ginger on my mouth and it was not burnt by any means not the flavor. However, the sides were perfect I loved the sliced fish in oyster sauce which is also highly recommended and I just couldn't have enough of it and the Tausi chicken was something new and spicy which was great too....
To finish it off. I ordered a brownie with ice cream which felt nice but the brownie could have been better in terms of texture is concerned.
The major con was however the space as I felt bad little crammed as I am talker than the average height and they have to workout something really soon as I feel the place has a great potential in terms of food and ambiance. Please do pay a visit and experience yourself.....
In the mood for Chinese? There are some eateries that you always keep coming back to..China Wok is one of those places for me..I had visited this place few days back during Durga Puja, located on purna das road beside triangular park..This is a two storeyed restaurant where ground floor is just for take away counter and the first for is for your perfect dineout with their decent ambience and pretty lightening..They serve both Chinese and Oriental cuisine at affordable prices..Foods need special mention, we tried out,
• Vegetable Fried rice- It tastes as usual, simple, flavourful, healthy and colorful rice..The sweet corn and the bell peppers adds a nice texture and sweetness to the fried rice..
•Diced chicken in oyster sauce- Oyster sauce chicken is a comfort food like no other comfort food I know..The chicken is infused with intense umami flavor thanks to oyster sauce and a classic trio of Chinese aromatics (scallion, ginger, and garlic) to make for a luxurious, yet simple chicken dish complete with sticky gravy. Do give it a try..
Overall it was good experience..Staffs are really courteous.. Would recommended for small hangout..I'm looking forward to my next visit..
Quite a cozy place.. In love with their Tom yum soup.. Also loved their rendition of the drums of heaven.. The people in there were quite friendly.. Overall a nice place to hang out..

Located on Purna Das Road, beside Triangular Park, this cosy restaurant serves some lip smacking Oriental preparations at very reasonable prices. I went during the lunch hours and tried the following
• China Wok Special Soup- Recommended!! I had a soup this great after a very long time! It was like an egg drop soup and was full of chicken bits, veggies and a fish ball. The broth itself was amazing. Loved it!
• Chicken Sweet Corn Soup- Recommended!! This was also an egg drop soup with bits of chicken and sweet corn.
• Chicken Pan Fried Momos- Recommended! They were filled with generous quantity of a flavorful chicken mix. The momos fried perfectly and the sauce wasn't too sweet.
• Crispy Garlic Pepper Chicken- Recommended! Succulent balls of chicken, fried in a firey pepper sauce... a must try!!
• Honey Glazed Pork- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! If you want to try a pork dish and not be disappointed by it then do try this one out. The pork slices were "fall off the bone" soft and the honey glaze wasn't too sweet.❤️
• Mixed Hakka Noodles- It had generous quantities of chicken, prawn, eggs and veggies.
• Chicken Ginger Capsicum Rice- They use good quality rice.
• Sliced Fish in Chilly Oyster Sauce- It nicely complemented the noodles. The fish was fresh and the gravy was tasty.
• Tausi Chicken- I tried this for the first time and loved it! It has a strong unique flavor. Do try this out.
• Brownie with ice cream and Chocolate Sauce- The perfect way to end your meal ❤️

Overall It was a good experience. Staffs are really courteous. Each and every dish was satisfying. Price is also affordable. Who were disappointed during puja, I'll request all of them to visit again. This time you won't be disappointed.
It was astami eve. We have (5 Pepole) ordered Drums of heaven, kung pao dry chicken as starter and chicken fried rice, chicken schezwan fried rice, tausi chicken, fish in coriander chilli sauce as main course. Taste was awesome & quantity was really satisfying. Though the place was very small, even there was no washroom. But the good thing was that food was really satisfying.
Went to this place on a saptami morning and since its kolkata's pujo we had to wait for 20 to 25 mins.
We had ordered for
a pork wok tossed hakka and
Diced chicken in hot garlic sauce
Both tasted nice and the quantity was also okayish.
Spacing isn't great to be honest.
Situated right beside 'Sudipar Rannaghor' .
On a busy Pujo eve , had to wait for around 40 mins outside.
Food was great , especially the Roasted Pork .
Only problem probably they've ,besides the spacing problem , is that they don't serve normal water .
You've to buy Mineral water.
Awesome food...Polite behaviour of the staff...Great service...Value for money...People who love tasty food can go here and have some fun at a low cost
awesome food quality with good quantity as well affordable price ..great experience well done China Wok best chinese food

CHINA WOK is situated near triangular park. It is easy to locate. It has 2floors where ground floor is just for take away counter and 1st floor is the place for dineout. It is a very cozy place, around 16-18 people sit there comfortably.. The decor is very authentic chinese restaurant. As a restaurant it has a small dining place but their ambience was very cool and calm.
Good news for foodie people, china wok launched there new menu,
◼️ Lung Fung soup: A bowl full of hot and soothing soup with sea food or gou rou made with lemon, chilli peppers, chicken & vegetables. Good in taste. Not very spicy and lite. This is perfect soup for your lunch.
◼️ Sliced pork in Bokchoy and black pepper sauce: This was the show stopper in that lunch. A wonderfull pork item i ever had. This item was really a signature dish in this restaurant. Pork is slowly cooked and thoroughly tossed with wine and bokchoy to add freshness to it. *Highly recommended*
◼️ Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts: chickens were tossed with a sweet and tangy sauce, upbeat of crunch added with cashew nuts. The cashewnuts gave the dish different variation.
◼️ Black pepper and Basil fish: shaded fish were tossed in whole black pepper and garnish with Basil paper. This was white gravy item. It was not very spicy item. Perfect goes to spicy rice item.
◼️ China Wok special rice: this was a perfect rice item. It is also a signature dish in this restaurant. I really liked it. This item perfectly goes to a lite side dish.
Over-all i really liked this restaurant specialy their menu price. It is very cheap and affordable. And their quality and quanity of food is mind blowing. After many time i am fully satisfied with the foods..
Amazing place for food at affordable prices .loved it for sweet cosy ambience.Highly suggested for couple.Desserts were too good Nd even the food.
1) Lung Fung Soup
ঘন ফেনার মধ্যে থেকে হালকা ঝাল আর লেবুর সুগন্ধে শুরুতেই মনটা ভরে যাবে❤️
2)Baby corn dong-
সুন্দর করে একই মাপের babycorn গুলিকে হালকা মিষ্টি স্বাদে সেরা লাগবে ❤️
3)pan fried chicken momos
টক-ঝাল-মিষ্টি সসের সঠিক পরিমাণের এবং দুর্দান্ত স্বাদের মেলবন্ধন ঘটবে এখানে ❤️
4)spring chicken
এই খাবারটির ঝালের পরিমান আপনার চোখে জল আনবে,কিন্তু তাও আপনি এটি ছাড়তে পারবেন না ,সঙ্গে থাকা সস মন ছুঁয়ে যাবে❤️😌
5)Black pepper and Basil fish
গোলমরিচের হালকা ঝাল থাকলেও স্বাদ যেন অসাধারণ ,এক কথায় সাধারণ হয়েও সেরা❤️👌
6)Egg Burnt Ginger Capsicum Rice -
উপরের মাছের উপকরণের সাথে একদম মিশে যাওয়া একটি খাবার একটি👌
ডিম এবং কাটা আদা দিয়ে সাজানো এই rice পুরো জমে ক্ষির❤️
7)Chocolate sandue(Desserts)
8)Fresh Lime Soda
Important notes for big group :-

Really a good place to have nice tasty food.
There are some eateries that you always keep coming back to. China Wok is one of those places for me. The taste, the flavours, the presentation and the compassion behind every dish made me deriliously happy about finding this food paradise.
We ordered:
👉Lemon Coriander Soup: What a great start to your meal. The freshness of the coriander along with the chicken chunks and a punch of lemon created a great love story.
👉Pan Fried Chicken Momos: The best pan fried momos I have ever had till date. This beauty made my day taking my heart away with its juiciness. Liked it.
👉Honey Glazed Pork: Let me gather my thoughts for a moment because I am completely blown away by its remarkable taste. The tender pork had been cooked in the exact temperature that it should be. The pork is tossed with honey, smoky chipotle pepper and soya sauce. Sounds delicious! Highly recommended.
👉China Wok Special Rice: Looking for a spicy savory, this is your answer. It is jam-packed with multidirectional flavours where the shredded cashew nuts added an extra dimension. Loved it.
👉 Prawns in Devil's Sauce: what a palatable way of serving a prawn curry! The tiger prawns are prepared to perfection and then added to a spicy and red hot sauce. The delectable prawns along with the delightful curry is a steal.
👍 Highs:
• The food, it is going to make you fall in love with this place.
• The authenticity of the flavours. I always appreciate those who keep the originality intact.
• The staffs are extremely polite and helpful.
• Pretty easy to locate ( get down at Triangular Park and take a walk of 5mins - near Texan Barbacon)
• Won't burn a hole in your pocket.
👎Lows:
This place is comparatively small. It can accommodate 16 people at a time but that should not stop you from digging in, because if so, you are going miss something really amazing.
Best regards to team China Wok.
🌐 Location: This little restaurant is located at Triangular park. A few steps away from Reymonds showroom and just beside TBB.
🏠 Ambiance: This place houses 4 tables and can accommodate 16 people. The seating arrangement is on the first floor. The place is very tiny and not much free space is left.
🤝 Behaviour: Staffs are very well behaved. They misunderstood one order and brought a different dish but after correcting it they promptly prepared the dish we actually ordered.
🍽️ Food: They serve some excellent Chinese dishes. Ordered
🥐 Pan fried chicken momo
🍜 mix chili garlic noodle.
Both of the dishes were amazing in taste. The quantity of the noodle bowl is sufficient for two and momo plate contains 6 pieces.
A nice experience dining in here.

Thank you China Wok For Making My Day Excellent.
First of all I am thankful to my friends who has recommended this place to me. I had to write this!
Situated at Hindustan park, China Wok is very easy to locate. It occupies two floors where the ground floor is entirely for take aways and the first floor being the place to sit and dine. Now, this is definitely not a fine and dine restuarant rather it has a compact seating and can accommodate about 15-16 people. Coming to the food, it offers some lip smacking oriental cuisine. I was super hungry and gobbled up a lot of food that day but sadly couldn't take a single picture cause my phone crashed. Good point is I remember my favourites to recommend you people. Do try the roasted chilli pork, the honey chilli pork and fresh red chillies having the perfect balance of spices and the thai basil prawns. Don't forget to try their dimsums and to opt for the spicy Sri Lankan curry!
Highly recommended!
More a takeaway restaurant...it has only few covers, quaint little place to enjoy Chinese and Oriental cuisine. We took home chicken fried rice, steamed chicken Momo and chilli honey chicken. While the former two were nothing out of the ordinary...the latter was definitely full of oomph and zing! The sharp bite of chilli immaculately balanced with sweet smooth honey and slivers of soft chicken swimming in the heavenly sauce.. outstanding!
Visited this weekend along with my friends.. Though a small place, it was still worth it.. They have good variations of Chinese dishes and are very economical.. The only area of improvement for this place is its size, since it’s too small and can fit only four tables..
Read a lot of positive reviews about China Wok, hence decided to visit this place last week.
Located near Hindustan Park, this small restaurant serves amazing Chinese and Thai cuisine.
However, this place is too small and can accommodate about 14-16 people at best. There is nothing too extraordinary about the decor or the ambience.
We've ordered-
•Honey Chilli Pork and Fresh Red Chillies Bao- This item tasted delicious! Though the bun was not that soft and fluffy but the honey chilli pork stuffing inside was fantastic.
•Coriander and Burnt Garlic Mixed Rice- This tasted pretty good as well. Also, the quantity served was huge.
•Fish in Celery, Soy and Wine Sauce- The sauce was a bit bland but the fish was cooked to perfection. Soft and juicy and delicious.
Now coming to the price of food, it's a bit on the higher side but considering the quantity they serve, it's worth it. Would revisit.

This is a place where you get authentic Chinese in an affordable price.I had ordered
1) chicken Wok tossed Hakka noodles
2) Five spice fish.
They provide quite a good amount of food in a moderate price. The noodle is good enough for two people and also good to taste. The fish was delicious. The moment I took one slice of the fish it just melted inside my mouth. They serve 10 medium pieces of fish along with gravy. You may even try other main courses which comes in chicken , fish, prawn, and pork.
The ambience of the place is very romantic and it can accommodate not more than 12 people. The service is also very good.

I had ordered their Thai Lunch box containing Steamed rice, Thai green curry and Korean Kimchi.
The portions are fine at the given price. The Thai green curry had a distinct taste of Kafir Lime and it was pretty light. The Kimchi was good too.
The food wasn't outstanding, but it was fine.
Went their today.... Just beside sudipar rannaghar ,near triangular park.... This is a small joint... Seating on the 1st floor..... 12-14 people can accommodate..... Chilled weather... Minimally decorated... Behavior of the staffs are very nice... They can improve their standard in maintanance..... Their food is their plus point.... We ordered two types of starters and two main course items..... Bulgogi chicken with schezwan mayo baos, china wok's dipped chicken momo in Thai chilli Basil sauce, mixed spicy Basil fried rice and five spice fish.... Two starters were tasted Awsm.... And the Two main course items mixed spicy Basil fried rice was very tasty and also huge in amount, more than sufficient for two.... The five spice fish was very good just very tasty -tangy -succulent.... Above all it was a great experience with you....
Is is located in the hindustan park just beside the MRF tyre shop. Me and my bestfriend went to the place at 3 P.M. and the restaurant was totally empty. As we were very hungry we asked the waiter to give us the menu as he was having his lunch at that time in that timd being we can decide the food, But after 20 mins he gave us the menu card till then we had to wait. In that 20 mins no one even came and switch on the AC.
It's a very cozy place only 4 tables are available and one waiter. Ambience is not so good.
Food was really awesome for which i am putting 4 star.
we ordered chicken spring roll in staters and chicken noodles and hot garlic chicken for main course. Quantity was suffient for two.
They also haven't gave us the printed bill as their printer was not working but they included gst in the hand written bill. Bit expensive compare to ambience and other things.
A small restaurant serving some delicious food which can make u happy wen u r damn hungry nd craving for some delicious Chinese..!
Visited yesterday nd I must say I am very much impressed with d behaviour of d stuff Nd d quality of d food..!
Pan fried chilli fish was damn tasty but I liked the drums of heaven more ,, it was suggested by the stuff nd truly it tastes yummy 😋
Will love to visit dis place again 🙂
great food taste quantity and packaging
Tried Oriental pan fried chicken and roasted chilli pork as the starters. Both of them were very tasty!
For the main course, we had ordered Srilankan fish curry. This was absolutely amazing and a must try dish from this restaurant. The gravy had a subtle coconut flavour. The dish was accompanied by steamed rice and the rice was sufficient for 3 people if you have had starters . There were 10 fish pieces, and they melted in the mouth. I cleaned off the bowl for the gravy! :-) Do try this out if you visit this food joint.
Wanted to try this restaurant for a long time since I have heard good feedback about it from many of my friends and relatives. Finally got time to order from this restaurant through the Swiggy app. China Wok is located at Purna Das Road, Hindustan Park. The restaurant looks pretty small from outside but has two floors, hence can accommodate 16-20 people easily.
Straightaway coming to the food, I would say in one word "Best authentic Chinese in South Kolkata". I have tried a lot of Chinese joints but most of them lack the authentic flavours from the mainland. However this joint makes up for that and brings in the flavours which one would expect from posh fine dine restaurants.
Till now I have tried, Chicken Hakka Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, Assorted Chicken with Pepper, Ginger and Garlic, Mushroom Pepper Salt, Sweet and Spicy Crispy Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken and Babycorn Oriental Chilli.
The Chicken Hakka Noodles were well tossed and tasted well at par with other restaurants. Chicken Fried Rice was okay but I would prefer Chicken Burnt Garlic Fried Rice over the normal one because of the well-balanced pungent taste. Assorted Chicken with Pepper, Ginger and Garlic was again a nice starter and unique in itself. Mushroom Pepper Salt was delicious and the pieces were quite soft but had a hint of crisp to them. Sweet and Spicy Crispy Chicken were more on the sweeter side due to the sweet sauce added to it and was nicely crisp. Babycorn Oriental Chilli is basically like crispy chili babycorn and was mostly soft but had a hint of crisp. Kung Pao Chicken was gravy item and contained stir-fried pieces of chicken. The gravy was a mixture of vegetable and nuts, had a hint of spice to it. Overall I would say that the amount of spices used are neither too much nor too less. Dishes have little to mild hint of spice to them.
Pricing is a tad bit higher comparing with other Chinese restaurants but the quality of food makes up for the price. Quantity is a hit or miss, Hakka Noodles, Fried Rice and gravies have great quantity but starters have less quantity. Would recommend improving on the starter quantity. Service is on the slower side, as Swiggy often says that the restaurant is delaying the order. It takes over an hour for the food to be delivered to a location which is 4-5km away from the restaurant. Packing is good at times but at one instance either the gravy or the sauces got leaked inside the plastic packet.
Overall a must try! Would recommend going with friends and family for an oriental Chinese cuisine experience!
After a tiring week I was craving for a simple light cuisine and obviously that lies in the indochinese cuisine.CHINA WOK is going good as per rating and also because of a trusted one' suggestion went to this eating house. Ordered basic dishes-chicken fried rice and chicken in black bean sauce with mushrooms.
Both were so subtle in the taste buds. The fried rice was cooked so lightly with those small wonder veggies which are the real gems of an indo-chinese dish. The chicken dish which had shredded pieces were also great and the black bean sauce with prominent black beans was so lightly flavoured but had this certain polished rich flavour that i wont mind having it again and again when i visit them in the near future. The food served was of considerable amount filling us enough. The service provided was also comfortable with a decent interior.
the food is consistently good and the quantity is great... one of the best chinese in kolkata. the chef's special dishes are must try. its located right opposite triangular park
Situated beside Sudipar Rannaghar on Purna Das Road this Chinese restaurant was in my wish list from a long time. This place is actually very small but they are serving best Chinese dishes in the city .The stuffs are very courteous and carry out their work in an orderly manner. Well at first we took a plate of ORIENTAL PAN FRIED CHICKEN for starter. It was cooked perfectly, not to spicy and smell tickles your nostrils. Main course we settled down for CHICKEN FRIED RICE which smelled equally good, the rice was boiled as it should have been and there was plentiful of chicken inside the rice to increase it taste . As for side dish it was DICED SCHWAN CHICKEN consisting of a good number of pieces with bellpapers in it . Happy to be there and will definitely visit again.

Awsome food! You need to wait a bit for the arrival of the food but the wait is worth it! Must try pork baos in chilli Mayo sauce and the chicken oriental lunch box and even the dimsums
Ordered egg fried rice yesterday via zomato...quality nd quantity sufficient for two people. ..previously ordered chilli garlic noodles nd pan fried chilli chicken. ..both were really yummy! !!! Worth for money👍
Went for a family dinner. They have a very small place to accommodate not more than 15 people.
We had Chicken, Lamb and Fish.
Lamb was very good, excellently prepared. Fish quality was fantastic.
Enjoyed all the dishes. They had very good service also.
Suggest them to increase sitting arrangements.
A plate of noodles and a bowl of chicken always lift up my spirits and well that's what exactly happened at China Wok. I was not very hungry so I had a light meal (by my standard!) of mixed hakka noodles and Kung Pao chicken. The chicken tasted wonderful! I haven't had such great chicken (Chinese of course) on a very long time! And the quantity was more than sufficient to satiate my hunger. The staffs were very friendly. My only complain is that the foods were a bit too salty for my taste, otherwise they definitely deserve kudos for such tasty dishes!
Nice place to feed your tummy with some nice touch of Oriental delicacies. Pork dishes are great in taste. Also the choices of Chinese gravies are delicious.
Location is tricky. If you spot the mud cafe, make a turn to the right. It is located behind the mud cafe.
Service was not significantly fast.
Just one time visit.
It looked huge from the outside. But Don't let that fool you. It's very congested inside.
I'm impressed with the food quality and price. Usually we search for good food in low budget. Here the desire will be full filled.
Cleanliness can be better. Way better
Serving time took longer than usual.
Best schzwan pork i have ever tasted in all these years. Great in taste, not massacred with heavy spice. Lunch with chicken rice and schzwan pork in Sunday wintery afternoons are love.
It indeed serves variety of Chinese in moderate price. I am going to visit again :)
South Kolkata’s main food joints comes to this area only from Deshapriya Park to Gariahat and being a player of that area you need to be cautious enough with price, quality and taste factor. To be a stable player in the zone of such competition every factor needs to be kept in mind. China Wok from the house of Asia House is a tremendous player in that zone. They have kept in mind about all the factors so that the graph level remains constant. They have a seating capacity of around 16-18 with that they have focused on the home delivery too. A restaurant with such spread of varieties of Chinese food is really commendable. Located near Triangular Park, much near from Gariahat Crossing.
We tried some new dishes from their new menu as well as some from old menu too and trust me Satisfied is the word.
Recommended items - Spicy Sri Lankan fish curry , Chicken dumpling with hot basil sauce, Roasted Chilli Pork and Drums of heaven.
This place serves some amazing lip-smacking chinese cuisine. Went here a few days ago n their food just won my heart in every possible way; sitting area is not too spacious however their food is far better than compared to many other competitors in the same cuisine. Roasted chilli pork is a must try. Looking forward to visit again.

China Walk(Wok)!
Apparently, when it comes to food, the first preference that comes on the scene for all of us, is for Chinese. However, possibly we don't prefer that country much in the recent days, but their cuisines are the only thing that has successfully trespassed our heart and mind all together. Thus, resolved that and as well entertained the idea of that why not take a walk down their territory. And on the way found this compact eatery house on Purna Das road named: China Wok. A miniscule eatery house, with ideal Chinese caress from where you can survey the decorativeness of the lane.
Well, passably they had gratified me their platters that took up with Coriander & Mushroom soup, indefectible bowl to begin our trip to China. It was thick and creamy flavoured with coriander and served with mushrooms in it. Flavourous! Then arrived my beloved Chicken Dumplings, cooked and served with hot basil sauce. It was hot and dainty. But, nothing can trounce my ideal platter of my choice, named, Pork Teriyaki Bao. It was squashy and sappy. Prepossessing in look but bit glacé in taste. Still and all, China too, like Bengal, set's its heart on London as the next platter was London's China Town, consisted of chicken pieces knocked up with sesame and honey. Nevertheless, London must not go with China as their collaboration can sway the diabetes within you. Too candied!
Having said that the main courses got the better of the taste which contained of Spicy Sri Lankan Curry Fish with Steamed Rice and Stir Fried Chicken with Chilli Garlic Noodles. The opening one was scarcely credible. Each drop of this dish made me parched for it. It was beyond belief. And was faultless combination too with the steamed rice. Although Stir Fried Chicken, prepared with cashews and spooned out with Chilli Garlic Noodles was too unequalled cuisine of China. Ultimate food couple to appear for their home country.
Therefore, luxuriated in the aroma of China and relished every 'munch' of their cuisines from new menu.
However, one request to this eatery house that kindly think about a place for washroom, which I assume must needed in every restaurant.

China Wok located just beside Sudipa’s Rannghor near Hindustan Park.
Authentic Chinese cuisine at a pocket friendly price, without Ajinamoto.
The ambiance is good and cozy suitable for groups, family, friends and individuals.
The food is great and quality is good too.
Service is fast and clean.
Do try :
CORIANDER & MUSHROOM SOUP:This soup is perfect for all season .Not only its yummy but also healthy and refreshing.
PORK TERIYAKI BAO: Baos are a rare thing to find but are great in taste. Now China Wok also serves Baos with crunchy pork which melts all the flavours in the first bite itself.Soft and tasty, that you will ask for more.
CHICKEN DUMPLING IN HOT BASIL SAUCE:The sauce was little spicy yet super tasty and the dumplings were soft and tastes best when dipped into the sauce.
LONDON’S CHINA TOWN CHICKEN:Chicken with the sweetness of honey and ghandharaj lemon. It was more into the sweet side but tastes best when you have it with the red chillies present in the sauce popping out the different combination of flavours into your mouth once you bite onto it.
SPICY SRI LANKAN CURRY FISH:The soft fishes served in a curry made of coconut milk in a Sri Lankan style.
This is a must have for all as the mixture of both gives a great taste and makes you even have the last drop left inside the plate.
STEAMED RICE:Steamed rice we all know about tastes great when combined with the side dishes.
MIXED CHILLI GARLIC NOODLES:The quantity was so much that people had trouble finishing it.Tastes good and can be consumed with or without side dishes as it itself is so yummy in taste.
STIR FRIED CHICKEN WITH CASHEWS:Not only did it have cashews it also had veggies and capsicum making it healthier and tastier. The curry was not too sweet or sour and tastes really good with different spices infused in it.The chicken was soft and yummy to taste.
ICE CREAM SUNDAE:Alls well that ends well, yes without this dessert you would surely regret as the brownie and vanilla ice cream’s combination teamed with chocolate sauce makes you go selfish and not share it much as its super tasty. The brownie is great in taste too.
A must visit place for all and enjoy the food and place.Do try out the dishes and let us know.

Another gem by the owner of Asia House, "China Wok" is sheer love for ardent Chinese cuisine lovers like me. I don't think I will ever think of a better place if I want to have the most satisfying and appetizing Chinese spread apart from China Wok. Petite yet extremely nice ambience-wise, this place plates some exquisite dishes. So the other day I went for lunch there with some friends and had the best time munching away to glory. These are what we tried from their new menu :
1. CORIANDER & MUSHROOM SOUP: Perfect balance of flavors, this soup acted as the perfect appetizer before our starters made way to our table.
2. PORK TERIYAKI BAO: Very few places make good Baos in Kolkata right now, and China Wok is definitely one of them. The pork was juicy and had that slightly sweet undertone due to the teriyaki infusion, but tasted great.
3. CHICKEN DUMPLINGS IN HOT BASIL SAUCE: The dumplings had sufficient amount of chicken stuffing to make you feel awesome and that Hot Basil sauce, was to die for. It was so good, that we wished we were home, and could lick the plate off shamelessly.
4. LONDON'S CHINA TOWN CHICKEN: This was a tad too sweet for my taste, so I didn't quite enjoy it, but if the sweetness is controlled, it would be a stunner with the red chillies and lemongrass combination that it entailed.
5. SPICY SRI LANKAN CURRY FISH: This ws our first dish among the Main Course, and hands down tasted the best. That coconut curry, the right amount of flavors, everything was extremely perfect in the whole dish.
6. STEAMED RICE: The curry went extremely well with the steamed rice.
7. MIXED CHILLI GARLIC NOODLES: A good portion of hakka noodles with chicken and egg with that terrific chilli garlic flavor. Awesome.
8. STIR FRIED CHICKEN WITH CASHEWS: This was a safe option amongst their side dishes which almost never goes wrong, especially when paired with that Chilli Garlic Noodles.
9. ICECREAM SUNDAE: Our meal would have been incomplete without something sweet, so this came and conquered our hearts all at once. Brownie with Vanilla icecream and oodles of Chocolate Sauce: neat and mind blowing. Couldn't have asked for a better way to end the beautiful spread.
I highly recommend this place to all foodies if you want some great Chinese dishes which are also AjinaMoto free. Service and hospitality was also topnotch. Chandni Chakraborty Jaydeep Seth TANMOY BASAK Archita Chakraborty|| Miss Petuk Aritro Chattopadhyay (@foodicted.fellow)

A small cosy place to dine with your friends and family. This restaurant serves Chinese and Thai food and the taste is marvellous. Definitely a must visit if you're near Triangular Park or Gariahat.
An easy on pocket place with some great food. Would highly recommend the place.
I have tried their:
Chicken Coriander and Mushroom Soup - A refreshing soup, to start your course meal with. Besides, chicken, coriander and mushroom, it also contains cabbage and shredded carrots.
Chicken Wings in Asian Barbequed Sauce - 6 pieces of lip-smacking chicken wings with barbeque sauce. The wings were well marinated as well as perfectly soaked in the sauce, thus giving the absolute taste.
Japanese Teriyaki Pork - Well, Pork is Love. And when it is combined with teriyaki sauce, it is 2x Love. The pork was well roasted, and the amount of honey added was adequate to give it that sticky yet tasty form.
Sliced Korean Bulgogi - Being a big Korean fan, I was looking forward to this dish the most. And it didn't disappoint me at all. Sliced chicken in Korean Bulgogi glaze with sesame stuck to it was just WOW.
Leang's Rice - It is a type of fried rice, that had coriander, basil, and burnt garlic. The rice was kind of okayish. When paired with the side dishes it acted as a good main. The amount of rice provided is perfect for 2 servings.
Chili Garlic Noodles - As the name suggests it is hot and spicy. So, if you are not very good with spicy dishes, you should consider it twice before ordering. But at the same time, being a spicy food lover, I must say, it surely awakens your taste buds.
Bangkok Stir-Fried Chicken with Cashewnuts - The shredded chicken was cooked in the oyster sauce along with capsicum and onion to give a good taste. The presence of cashew makes it a mild dish and thus is recommended for those who want to compensate the over spiciness of the chili garlic noodles.
Five Spice Fish Curry - The fish just melts in your mouth. I have had many fish dishes and this is probably one of the best. The gravy is nothing extraordinary but the fish pieces are AMAZING. The moment you cut it, you realize how soft and succulent they are.
Vanilla Icecream with Toffeed Cashewnuts - 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream with few pieces of caramelized cashew nuts and a tablespoon of caramel spread over the ice cream is heaven. The moment you put a spoonful in your mouth, a slight smile appears on your face. This simple combination of ice-cream and caramelized cashew served as a refreshing ending to the full meal.
This place is located in the alley beside Triangular Park. Though they have a very small space, the quality and quantity of food is very delicious. The staffs are very well behaved and informative about their menu, It should be included in your wishlist if you are addicted to Chinese cuisine. The price is pretty high but the quantity they provide adjusts the budget. We tried Egg Chicken Fried Rice and Sliced Chicken in Teriyaki Sauce both tasted good and quantity was very good.
Different chinese foods are available. Place is small. Price is cheap but food is tasty
Nice little cozy place built in a kind of Mezanine floor with couple of other resturants in the same building. The food is good and service is good as well. I went around 2pm on a weekday and no one was there except us. the place has a max seat capacity of 12-15 tops
Lovely food. Their delivery service is prompt and reasonable. Some of the Thai preparations like the Kai Himaparn are simply out of the world.
Small place but food was really good.
Do give their Darsan a try for desserts
Prawn Sui Mai is paradise
Soups are decent.
Main course are brilliant
Great Food and very affordable prices. Place is small but cozy and gives you a very value for money feeling. You wont be dissapointed.
Good food, ambience & services. Even, the prices are reasonable . Quite a cute place to hang out with family. Suggested to check out their Thai dishes .
Really a nice place with sound ambience.Food quality is excellent. The service is good. One can get there authentic Chinese dishes as well as Thai dishes. Its a very convenient place for all to reach. There is a parking place too.
Had Tom Kha Soup, Thai Red Curry with rice. The soup was flavorful, served hot, and was really excellent. The Red Curry was perfectly cooked with the right amount of spices.
The quality of food is good and the place is ambient too. But quantity wise and budget wise I would definitely not recommend .
