Chufang is a decent chinese restaurant located at Shapoorji area. We started with a bowl of hot nonveg thukpa. From the starter section we opted for the hot and spicy Chufang the kitchen's special wings. In main course we opted for spicy coriander fried rice along with Kung Pao chicken. Both were delicious and the flavours were on point. Prices are reasonable and affordable.

So, recently I visited shapoorji di to to some work purpose, and there I got to know about this place. According to the local guides, this place serves the best chinese food in that area and then I decided to taste their food, and it was really good enough.
Bt to me the best part of their food is they don't use msg, instead they use palm oil fries, that's a healthy part.
The ambience was good.
Staffs behavior was also good enough.
Quality and quantity were also good enough.
So comming to the food, I tried couple of their dishes. And they are-

•ORIENTAL CRISPY CORN(5/5) -Loved this starter. It was smthng different.

•KUNG PAO CHICKEN(5/5) -The size of the chicken were also appropriate. Perfectly cooked.

Chufang The Kitchen is located inside New Town Heights Plaza at Shapoorji. It is at the prime location for New town and shapoorji commuters. This place serves really nice chinese and tibetan food with a 22-24 people seating arrangement.
Started with Litchi sling mocktail which was quite refreshing and tangy. Then in soup we had non veg thupka which had huge quantity with eggs, chicken, and veggies. In starters I loved their oriental crispy corn which is supposedly their best seller starter. Besides that I loved their special chicken wings which were pan fried. Main course was also good as we tried coriander rice and hunan chicken and kung pao chicken too. Hunan chicken was quite good. Also the coriander rice was flavourful and had really nice taste. And to sum it up we ended with darsaan in desserts.

In mocktails tried out their litchy sling which was a mix of sour and sweet.
Then tried out oriental crispy corn, chufan kitchen special chicken wings and loved quite both of them. Would recommend the chicken wings was pan fried with a hot and sweet sauce and tasted well with a crispy touch to it. In main course my friend tried out non veg thukpa which had a bit different taste with a Indian touch of spices thats what I felt personally. Besides these choriander fried rice and kung pao chicken went well and the rice specially was quite flavourful. Also at the end tried out darsaan with some ice cream and loved the darsaan! Overall a place with minimal decor and quite good food near Shapoorji area. Definitely try out during your lunch breaks or post work at dinner. Average pricing is 700-800 for two people.
It's quite difficult to find a cozy yet reasonable eatery joint near New town. This restaurant which serves reasonably good Chinese food is just opp the Sapoorji complex. The food was unexpectedly very good starting from the starters to deserts. They have recommended us to try their best sellers like the corn chat, coriander rice, chufang special chicken wings and so on . I would highly recommend this place ,you can even order some hot thukpa at your place to enjoy your lazy nights.

A decent place to order up for Oriental food. This time we chose for a zomato delivery. We had called for Oriental Crispy Corn, Lime Leaf Chicken and Spicy Coriander Noodles. It took about 20 mins for the order to reach us and found the zomato delivery to be quite promt. The delivery boy was courteous while delivering the order. So over all Zomato delivery experience was quite good. Our food came packed in white plastic containers with zomato seals across... The food was well packed with no oil spillage. Coming to the food.... Oriental Crispy Corn is one of their product that I never fail to order... Indeed tastes much better when had in restaurant rather than over delivery... This should be a must try from their menu.
Lime leaf Chicken .. is fried chicken balls coated with some Oriental sauces and tossed with Lime leaf.... Subtle with flavours I would have preferred it being more spicy.
Spicy Coriander noodles was something that wowed me... Not being typically Oriental yet there is out burst of fresh flavour of coriander with the very 1st bite.... This is also a much recommend dish from us for those who generally like to experiment with their noodles.
This is the first Chinese restaurant in this locality that serves pretty decent menu. The ambience is a square dining area with 4 4-seater tables, 1 6-seater table and 1 2-seater tables. Pretty chinese look but you wouldn't want the kitchen noise that flows to your ears, but manageable. I ordered the Hoisin Chicken and mixed Khao pad kra prao. Looked nice, turn off was the onion slice and cucumber slice covering the rice. There are a lot of thai spices in it which you may want to remove before eating. Trust me, the rice was real good and the side dish was yum. I liked it and will visit again to try more.

Lung Fung Soup: It was in bit tangy side. Main components are seafoods, veggies, lemon etc along with this egg white give this soup a different texture.
Panko Fish: Fresh Basa marinaded and then deeply Fried . It served with mayonnaise and tomato ketchup. (Recommended)
Lime and Leaf Chicken: Slices of Chicken is prepared with lime leaves which gives it a fragrant of lemon along with chopped capsicum, Onions. (Recommended)
Coriander Chicken Noodles: As the name suggests Noodles was given a twist by the usage of coriander & green chili paste which made the dish a lot more spicier and unique . (Recommended)
Burnt Garlic fried rice: Well cooked rice along with chopped Garlic and veggies was nice to taste.
Garlic fish: Small fillets of Basa were juicy & fresh & tasted really well.

Chufang is located inside new town heights just opposite Sapoorji bus stand. On the 2nd floor of the building , this place takes a small space which is cozy and neat. The decor has a feel of local chinese shops and seating capacity of 15-20 people. They have recently launch their lamb menu so we had to try one.
We had,
Chufang special lamb- the lamp piece was huge and full of meat. The meat was tender, juicy and so flavourful. Accompanied with fried rice and veggies.
Lime leaf chicken- Chicken pieces tossed in chinese sauces and infused kafir lime was my favourite from their menu.
Tung fong soup- Loaded with chicken bits, prawns and veggies, this thick soup will calm your palate.
Burnt garlic butter fried rice- Loved it, perfectly cooked rice with garlicy flavour.
Hot garlic fish- Gravy tasted amazing.
Chef special ice cream- The vanilla ice cream was coated with thick layer of cornflakes and drizzled with chocolate syrup.
Overall few of their dishes were great though some needed attention. You can try out their food.

The first time we tried their lemon grass crispy chicken. While it wasn't very crispy the flavours were spot on.
The second time we tried the chicken wanton soup. The steamed wantons were stuffed with juicy chicken mince and soup was heartwarming.
However today's order was the absolute highlight! Ordered their Tom Yum chicken soup. It was so flavourful and had the freshest ingredients! Simply DELICIOUS!

The quantity was good, enough for two and ample amount of prawn, chicken, egg, and vegetables was there in the fried rice. I also liked the sauce they provide. We ordered for the first time after got to know from one of my friends and happy to say it was a good decision made.
