The place has lovely interior with soulful bengali vibes. When I visited this outlet we took :
KACHA LONKA MANGSHO:
The mutton pieces were really soft and tasty . The gravy was light though it was very delicious . You should definitely try it along with plain rice or plain roti.
BASANTI POLAO:
Overall the preparation was good as it was supposed to be but the amount of polao they served didn't satisfied me . The amount of rice being shown in the picture was served when we asked for two plates of Basanti polao. Though you should give it a try as the cooking was really great and filled with bong flavours.
LAL KEEMA:
It's a lovely dish consisting grated mutton pieces and spicy gravy with full of "বাঙালিয়ানা" . You should definitely try this out, I assure you that you won't regret and will crave for some more .
If you want some mouth watering Bengali dishes at a very reasonable price then you can try this place called koshe kosha. Nice ambience and decore. It's a perfect family restaurant with authentic Bengali food.I visited this place before lock down with my friend.
We ordered :-
1. Veg Thali (Papad,Alu bhaja, Begun bhaja, Sona moong Daal, Shukto, Mochar torkari, aam er chatni, Baked rosogolla, Salad)
2. Mutton kosha
Taste of the all food was awesome but specially i loved their baked rosogolla and mutton kostha. All the dishes were well cooked and fresh. The service was first and staffs were friendly.
Wanna visit again this place.

Ordered today mochha chingri..
It was so delicious 😍 just like home made ..
All time favorite for go out and hone delivery
During this current Covid-19 they packed the order so nice and gave sanitizer for hygiene purpose
The quantity of food is not adequate. But the quality of food offered by Koshe Kosha is the best ❤️
We had ordered their Kisha mangsho and roti combo. It really tasted great.
I also love their jhur jhure alu bhaja ,mutton jhol ,chicken jhol and plastic chutney.
I order this combo polao and kosha mangsho, with that they give me some salad which makes a proper combo for bengali cuisine food. It's too pocket frindly and tast yummy 😍

Hii.they all r very helpful &soft spoken..we r arrived all most 4.30 PM.but they arranged our food..food quality was awesome..I loved it.but little bit disappointed by the muttan dish otherwise all dish r very tasty.. we visit Newtown koshekosha.
Quality of food is very good and quality-wise is good..the atmosphere is so amazing it looks like a typical Bengali restaurant. Foodservice is good..and the especially dab chingri is my favourite.and in the desert the nolen gurer ice cream is the best part of that..price of food is Lil bit of high
Be it evening snacking on bhetki fish fry and chicken kabiraji with your folks and some quality adda session. Or having the signature bengali fulko luchi, crispy aloo bhaja and cholar daal.
Their mochar chop is another all time favorite amongst the veg menu they serve.
Oh! Not to forget their gondhoraj chaach! unique in its kind... A must go place! And to top it all it has gold 1+1 on food!
Good place for a perfect bong family lunch or dinner.
Great ambiance, 5/5👍
Food is also good , 4/5👌
Excellent Behavior , 5/5 🤗
Budget friendly , 🤑
Outlet is small... Traditional Bengali ambience... Big hatpakha is nice... We ordered an ordinary chicken cutlet and a aam chatni chicken cutlet... According to us aam chatni chicken cutlet is more tasty as compared to ordinary one.... Overall it was a good experience....
I've been there for few times.
A small place but well maintained and nice ambience.
This restuarant is located in sector 3, near karunamoyee.
Service is good and i can't explain how much i love their food.
I'm a foody bengali and for me..nothing can beat the taste of bengali food. And koshe kosha is one of my favorite bengali cuisines.
If you want to have some tasty bengali food, you should visit this restuarant. "Just Darun!" 😋❤
The foods were tasty and delicious....their service were also good and helpful..... And the restaurant feels like typical bengali hotel..... And this can be improve by providing more bengali items and by decorating wisely.
This place is located opposite of salt lake central park
This place is perfect for Bengali cuisine
Their really justifying their all dishes
Visited this outlet last month, this place really a great choi
We ordered
Gondhoraj ghol, chicken cutlet, mocha chingri, kankrar jhal , kosha mangso, plain rice, morog pulao, malpula sandwich and Bonde parfait
All dishes were specially morog pulao, kankrar jhal and malpua sandwich.
Koshe Kosha is perfect for best Bengali Cuisine. They really justify the signature bengali dishes with their special magical flavours. I really became a great fan of KOSHE KOSHA after trying Saltlake and Digha outlets. They never let down the Taste of Bengal rather enriched more with their innovative flavours. The dining space is little less in Saltlake outlet in compare to Digha outlet. Service is good. Must Try: BhetkiChingri Melbondhon, Basanti Pulao, Kosha Mansho, Gondhoraj Murgi, Kankrar Jhal, Chitol Muitha, Gondhoraj Ghol, Chingri Malaikari and Posto Bora. I bet you will be in love with them after trying the above dishes. Soon gonna dine here for their best delicious recipes.
Small seating area, might be crampy... Menu has a lot to offer but when you order they say they dont have... However the best part is the taste of the food which is good. Authentic bengali cuisine....Go for lunch... Pet bhore bhat mach....
Nice place for Bengali cuisine located near Central Park. We had bhetki paturi, gondhoraj murgi, Malai chingrir biriyani, chicken pulao and nolen gurer ice cream. Taste and behaviour of staff was good.
One of my best dishe i had today. Its morgi pulao. Jst had that heaven taste.wow.And also its my first tym order from koshe kosha.I loved it.thanx to the chef.
Small but chic place. Well maintained ambience. Nice Robindra Shongeet in background. The boys are well mannered and polite. They took excellent care of me and wife. We always used to order in from this place however on the previous day of Dhol we decided to visit and have a dine in. Zomato gold made the experience sweeter.
We ordered bhetki paturi, kosha murgi, plain rice, and beguni. Bhetki was splendid. Whether it is pollichathu from Kerala or paturi from Bengal, I like the concept of wrapping fish in a leaf and steaming it. When it's a river water fish like bhetki in the backdrop of strong mustard taste and aroma how could one not order it ! Kosha murgi was spicy with Bengali preparation. It went well with plain basmati rice. Beguni was perfect as a starter with rice. It had a homemade flavour.
The service takes sometime but I wouldn't mind it as they eventually give mouth watering food. The boys attend to you and take good care. Finger bowl was brought before and after our meal. Air-conditioning was appropriate.
Will try their Noren gud ice-cream next ! Cheers guys.

One of the last places in Kolkata serving good Kosha Mangsho!! Yes believe it!! Zomato insists us to be nice, so I refrained from writing a review of Gol Bari!! Definitely worth the visit!! The absurd oil less paratha is not worth the price though but the Mutton definitely makes up for it and more!! If you are a fellow Patha( mutton) fanatic!! This place will definitely live up to your standards.
Basically we visited to this place to try their limited period menu "gopi gawaiyaan Bagha bajayiian" but found it unavailable so opted for their Non-veg thali..which was basically more than enough for 2 people..we took bhetki pathuri also.
Thali was well prepared..consisted of basmati rice, sukhto thor, dal, beguni, katla jhal, chicken, papad, chatni and doi..and among all pulao , chicken and specially mishti doi was very good. Bhetki pathuri was delicious..Wanted to try Daab ice cream but we're full.
Less no of settings..traditional bengali decor with Haat pakha, jhuri , sindurdani etc...very fast service and courtateous staff..Overall a very good experience
Nice place for Bengali food lovers, near Karunamoyee (Saltlake). The resturant is quite small and it can accommodate near about 30 people at a time in different tables. The quality of the food is really good. You can try their ‘Chhanar dalna’ in veg, ‘Dhakai mangso’ and ‘Knacha lonka mangso’ in chicken, ‘Malai Bhapa Bhetki’ in fish and Basanti Pulao in rice.
The food is pretty good. Loved the basanti pulao and kosha mangsho, also the fries are great. The ambience is cozy and has rural appeal. Staff is pretty courteous and helpful.
Authentic Bengali food at very reasonable price. We had Bhetki Paturi, Moshla Murgi, Mangsho Polau. Each of the items were amazing and cooked to perfection. Nolen gurer icecream wad the best and must try for everyone.
The waiters are also very polite.
Great place to eat it you are craving for Bangali khabar
Yumm tested bengali resturant...
The low tune of rabundrasangeet will melt the heart..
Ambiance was damn good..
But seat availability is very less.
There is only 5 tables with 4 or 5 chairs...
Food was awsome.
We have ordered gondhoraj murgi with basmati rice..behaviour ,service was blissful
We were on puja pandal hoping in and around Saltlake and decided to get some food from this restaurant. We tried Dhakai Mangsho (Mottun), Gondhoraj Murgi (Chicken) and Alu fulkopi (cauliflower curry). All the items were really tasty specially considering Puja rush at all restaurants. Person was in reception was very helpful and help us to get the food packed very fast.
I visited koshe kosha's salt lake outlet which is famous for serving traditional bengali food. The interior of this restaurant is very alluring. This restaurant has an immense charisma of traditional bengali interior which includes paintings and fine arts. I tried their non veg thali (495/-), chitol maccher muitha (350/-) and malai chingri biryani (395/-). The food served had real authentic flavor of bengal.
They preserve utter hygiene while preparing and serving the food. The entire backdrop of koshe kosha enhances the perfect mood for savoring their authentic bengali dishes. Apart from the food and it's quality being nice, their entire staff is cordial and organised as well.

We had a lump sum lunch party here with office colleagues. Daal , bhaat , shukto , mocha , chatni , papad , mutton and katla maach everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. This place is a bit small and cozy but I wouldn't definitely recommend if you want to try Bengali food.

Mahasaptamir vuribhoj... Perfect Bengali food.. the tastes r perfect as if we taste it our homemade food or in Bengali "maa er haater ranna" in each of those which we tasted not so spicy too like other restaurants.. its at the opposite side of central park gate2 or beside balle balle dhaba of sec3.. pocket friendly but not so cheap or not so costly... Now come to the atmosphere of the restaurant its very small in space hardly 20 ppl can seat but its cleaned enough... service very quick I personally never expected specially at the Puja time we didn't hv to wait a single second or after giving order only we waited hardly 10mins... staffs r polite enough..
Now come to rating of food(quality+quantity)
Polau 4.5/5
Bhaat 4.5/5
Phoolcopy alur torkari 5/5
Chanar danla 5/5
Mutton curry 4.5/5 (as per my husband review)
Ilish vapa 4.5/5
Aam doi 4/5
In search of some Bengal delicacies we chose koshe kosha. I bet you will never be disappointed dining here. the taste of food is worth it and it's also pocket friendly. We tried bhetki chingri melbondhon, mosla chicken, basanti pulao and luchi.
The starter was of another level. A must try.
If you are Bengali away from home...this is the place to be.
If you are a foodie and want to explore Bengali food this is the place to be.
Simple items like aloo dum can be soooo delicious....u wont believe until u taste the food here...
Bhetki fry - Very crispy till the end , stuffing was really good , but I found its quite overpriced
Basanti Pulao- They took time to serve this order ,but it was totally worth waiting for. The yellow texture with cashew nuts and raisins was way appealing .4 plate was enough for 6 people, the aroma of the ghee and garam masala with rose kewra essence will enhance your hunger ten times over.
Dhakai Mangsho- The mutton was tender and the thick white gravy goes well with Nun more than rice
Kosha Mangsho - The exact replica of
GolBari Mutton Kasha
Kosha Murgi - The Succulent meat was well prepared with the perfume of ginger and hint of cardamom.
Went there on their anniversary celebration, so safely i can say their menu was well priced. Although i feel this place is a little cramped, and having situated in an area like salt lake they should extend their seating. The food was as usual great, we ordered rice, bhetki paturi( which serves 2 paturis) , chhanar dalna, chicken cutlet, and kochi pathar jhol. The quantity was appropriate and the bill came to a reasonable 700.
This is one of the most amazing Bengali cusine restaurant. My friends and I visited this place today itself as because of their 11th anniversary event. Each and every dishes we had ordered was served immediately and food quality was very good. Most preferably mutton Kassa was amazing. The staffs were helpful and polite. I would highly recommend this place.
Today I went to this restaurant celebrating 11th anniversary of this restaurant and I ordered Basanti pulao, bhetki Paturi, dhakai mangsho, chithol macher mouitha n misti Doi. I really love my food which was served by this restaurant nice food nice service and nice place I will must visit again.
Best place for indian dishes..!we 5 went there for lunch...!
we orderd 1: vej thali 2: nonvej thali( contains rice,dal,begun vaja,alu vaja,mochar dalna,chatni,one fish item,chicken item)
3: chital macher muitha
decor is classy..food is tasty..👍
Have tried just a few items from this place.
The lal keema is decent.
The kosha mangsho from this place is better than most places like 6 ballygunj place, etc.
I really like how its done - from the colour to the taste, i enjoy this dish. Its rich and oily(warning for those that avoid oil).
The luchi and roti are ok.
Definitely worth trying these items from this eatery.
Excellent quality food. will order again n again if quality will be maintained same.

If You want Authentic Bengali Dish.
You have come to the Right place.
They won't let you down.
It's a Small but a very hospitable atmosphere with the flavour of Bengalism written all over it. Liked the set up as well as the choice of songs they were playing to make the place more comfortable for us. The food was delicious and very tasty. Specially Kosha Mangso and Elish bhapa. Would like to add that the behaviour of the fellow workers was very humble and sweet. They helped us in many ways as it was the first we visited over there under Zomato Gold plan. They answered every detailed question with a smile and didnt loose patience. Overall a great experience. Willing to go there again.
Small sitting area.. went for a family lunch. Felt at home. Food tasted good. Sober staff. Has a collection of books that's an added surprise. You can flip the books and if like, can buy as well
Very delicious authentic bengali dish… Must try once…!!!!
This outlet is located near city centre 1. It's a not so small cosy place to have Bengali cuisines. i had mohavoj thali which included both ilish vapa n mutton kasha and it was enough for the two of us. just add extra 1plate of rice if you have bigger hunger.
Both the main dishes were mouthwatering.
Bengali food, nostalgic vibes, courteous waiter and prompt deliverance of food to the table. Definitely gonna try next items.
Taste and quality of food is good.Little high priced.we went kose kosa saltlake for lunch at nabami ,so there was little rush but we had not wait very long.only notably thing was they gave us thermocol plate for serving our food. Before I got ceramic plate at this restaurant's other outlet.
If you want to have authentic Bengali delicacy, this place is a must visit.
Price is very normal. Food is fresh and yummy. The ambiance is good as well. They have decorated with the theme 'rural bengal'.
Koshe Kosha - The name says it all. It is near Karunamayee Bus Stop(5 mins walking distance). One of the best place to eat bengali cuisines. It was small place but now it has turned it into a spacious restaurant. They have thali system available and I think it is there one the biggest postive. They also serve a-la-carte dishes. They have very unique ans authentic bengali foods and they are all delicious. This place is highly recommended by zomato. And they now they have improved atmosphere and polite and friendly staff. Definitely recommend place to visit with your friends and family.
A perfect place to fulfill your Bengali cuisine craving.
Fresh and high quality food with delicious taste, staff service on point, what else one can ask for.
The mutton and fish items are the star here.
The bhetki paturi here is one of the best you can get in kolkata.
Dessert are damn good too. Baked rosogolla was something you'd not regret spending money on.
Quantity is good as per the price.
Would highly recommend if you are a foodie.
Food was good 👍 so is the place, good for both lunch and dinner.
It's good option for people eating non veg food. They serve delicious fish options. Also they have good chicken options as well. For veg, they need to add few more options as the available ones are pretty limited.
I just loved the food. They serve authentic Bengali food and I am sure u gonna love it. Staffs are really well behaved.
It's a cute and cozy place with a vintage look.
This is a good restaurant for Bengali style foods especially mutton, chicken and fishes. I tried mutton curry and basanti pulao. Both the items were very tasty and having authentic Bengali taste. The service is also good and quite fast. The atmosphere is fine but can be improved.
An absolute delightful experience. Went in for lunch. Ordered chicken, chanar dalna, rice, dal, alu bhaja.. the taste was really good.
One of the best places to have authentic Bengali food. I am so much in love with this place for its best Bengali flavours.
We have ordered kosha chicken, mutton kosha and chapatis, everything was perfect in a taste.
Plus the ambience of this place is very happening and lovely which gives vibes of the golden era of Kolkata.
Wel the place of this outlet is small and the decoration is good 👍 one I visited with my family for lunch there food preparation is good one every one likes the food and staff behaviour is good one keep it up
Nice Bengali food. We were looking to have authentic Bengali thali and this placed offered the same within a budget. Mahabhoj non veg thali (595-625)
Loved the food. Although the place was quite small, food was very tasty and healthy. They prepare in less oil as compared to other restaurants. Authentic bengali food was awesome specially daab chinguri and bekhti paturi.

Will try their Noren gud ice-cream next ! Cheers guys.
The chicken kosha is an absolute delight. The chanar dalna is also good but a bland to some extent. My personal opinion it needs some touch up with little amount of chilli. Quick service is really worth appreciating.
