Had gone here after an event at Gitanjali. Order a dragon Chicken, red pepper chicken, noodles, rice. Food was amazing and quantity was more than enough for the three of us. Would have loved to visit again, but it's quite a bit far from my location. Maybe someday when I'm in the neighborhood, hoping their food hasn't diminished in quality.

One of my favourites when it comes to Indian Chinese. Have tried their Thai Souls and it’s one of the best in town. The proportion of veggies n chicken are good.
So today we had ordered their RBS Special noodles as I had already tried their Burnt garlic n Schwzwan noodles and they taste good if not great. The Burnt Garlic could have more garlic and Schezwan was too spicy. Coming the RBS Special, it was just perfect and had great portions of prawns, chicken, mushrooms, veggies and bamboo shoot. Though I had ordered Fish in Oyester Sauce which was yum but I had the noodles alone as it was complete in itself. The Fish was fresh and would go perfectly with rice preparations or the less spicy options.

Visited this outlet opposite to my house in Kasba. Though it’s an old one but has got newly decorated now which I see. Being a chinese resturant they maintain there authenticity which I saw. For in dine I ordered chicken dragon soup and conjee crispy chicken, I dint like the soup since it had lot of. Influence of coriander in it which spoiled the taste. But the chicken started was super crispy and tasty as it mentioned.
For takeaway I ordered mixed Hakka noodles , chicken fried rice and Kung pao chicken. Everything was perfect except the rice. It missed some flavours which I believe and also the noodles was too dry being Hakka.
Would visit more when I’m in hometown and come with more reviews on this place. But I thing is that it’s a bit overpriced with the quality they provide.

This outlet is a 2 minute walk from Acropolis mall and offers lip smacking Chinese food at cheap prices. I rate this place highly for excellent quality, quantity and taste. The only down side is the external appearance of the joint, which is lacklustre.
In frame : 5 star fried fish for starters.
Main course : burnt garlic chow mein (mixed), crab in hunan sauce, lamb in malaca sauce.
Dessert : tutti frutti ice cream.
I recommend their rice noodles (meifoon) which i order home regularly.

Went there today for evening snacks. Tried their lemon coriander soup and bbq chicken. Both were nicely cooked. Enjoyed the soup in this rainy weather. Bbq chicken was sweet initially , later the hot flavor could be felt, that's what we expected.

The restaurant is a bit small in size but the food is really lipsmacking. We ordered:
1) Chinese Dragon soup- It was good in taste, had bits of mushroom in it too.
2) Chicken Lung Fung soup- It was made of fluffy battered egg. This is a must try.
3) Conjee Crispy Chicken- It's sauce had the perfect tangy and spicy fusion taste. Must try for those who love tangy foods.
4) Chilly Butter Garlic- Though it says chilli, it wasn't really that spicy, but it did have a rich butter coating.
5) Authentic Mixed Fried Rice- It was good and upto the mark.
6) Authentic Mixed Chow mein- It was also good and perfect amount of spicy.
7) Chicken in Malaka sauce- I found this dish average though compared to the other dishes, but it was fine too.

I am writing this review after tasting thier food for more than 5 times. I have never been to this place for dineout, but have ordered from here multiple times. First time I ordered food from here might be one year back or may be more than that and I was out of option while searching for delivery around 11.30 pm. From then I have gathered Enough faith on them, my whole family likes their food and yes me too. The 5 star rating says it all. Chinese delicacies are very common in nature and are also prepared on roadside Eateries as well, but amidst this Red Bamboo Shoot has some uniqueness in thier preps. Keep up the good work Sir. Your preps are satisfying our taste buds with immense expertise. Ignoring all the negative inputs I am more than Happy to order from here and visit your restaurant as well for dining out very soon. Recently planned a visit with my friends to Red Bamboo Shoot in Kasba. We ordered for their Creamy Corn Soup, Grilled Chicken Salad, Hufan Hakka Noodles, Stir Fried Exotic Greens and Kung Pao Fish. Let me tell we were not disappointed. The food was delicious with the right amount of spices and heat to tickle your taste-buds. If you are looking for a pocket-friendly place to hang out, this is it.

Ordered through Swiggy, their portions are quite decent, and taste wise they are excellent given the price. They even managed to ship chili in vinegar in a little homeopathy looking bottle.

This is really an amazing Chinese restaurant. I visited it so many times. Last time, I ordered Schezwan fried rice which was spicy and yummy along with hunan chicken(s) which was simple and light as complemented with the rice. I had really good experience with this restaurant and their food. Highly recommend. ❤️

Only drawback is the space inside the restaurant. It is quite small and kind of feels suffocating when it is at it's full capacity. I wished they could somehow manage to increase the area inside the restaurant because this place can be one of the best Chinese serving places in the city. Had a wonderful experience.
Though I've not been to this place, I've ordered food from here on quite a few occasions. Crispy Conjee Chicken, Ginger Chilly Mushroom, Garlic Chicken are some of the dishes I have ordered thru Zomato. Every item was nothing short of excellent. Their portion sizes are pretty decent. Though ordered, the crispy Conjee chicken (shredded chicken) was pretty crispy when consumed(I received the order around 40 mins later). Since these are tried and tested items I can suggest guests to try out these dishes with noodles. One may also try out their Crispy Conjee Lamb. Location : Nilima/Rajdanga stoppage. Have experienced best Chinese Cuisines in recent times. We took two starter dishes: Chilli Basil Chicken & Pan Fried Fish. First one was quite delicious, little bit spicy and second one was too tasty (total 8 pieces). In main course, we ordered authentic mixed fried rice with Kung Pao Chicken and Lamb in Chilli Oyster Sauce. Rice was really 'authentic' and found a typical smell when it was served. Kung pao chicken (contained 10pieces) was just mouth-watering and tasty also. Lamb item was bit average. Lastly, to digest all these things, we had fresh lime soda & masala cold drinks.
Overall experience was sooo nice. Food quality & quantity were almost equivalent. Prices were cost-effective. Staffs were cooperative & well-behaved.

Red Bamboo Shoot is like that one loyal friend of yours who will always pick up the call, no-matter-what! Have literally lost count of the number of times I have ordered chicken steamed momos from here, and it always tastes the same- delectable! Beside them momos, I have mostly ordered combos from Swiggy Pop and the quantity they provide is beyond generous. I had visited their outlet in Kasba once and treated myself to a hearty meal. I'd ordered a grilled chicken salad with Asian greens and RBS special non- veg soup. The broth was so filling in itself that I had to pack the salad for home! The consistency that the restaurant maintains in terms of both quality and quantity is well appreciated and I highly recommend it to everybody!

Went there a couple of days back to have dinner! The place is not so big and dimly lit. We were in hurry and hence ordered for noodles and a chicken side dish. The foods were amazing! There are several Chinese restaurants in town, but this is my most favourite Chinese joint for last 1 year. Their Crispy Taipai Chicken, BBQ Pepper Chicken, Mixed Authentic Hakka Noodles, Three Flavour Hakka Noodles, Dry Chilli Chicken, Devil's Chicken, Burnt Garlic Mixed Fried Rice, Lat-Me-Kai, Crispy Chilli Baby Corn, Pan Fried Fish etc are masterpiece. Tried almost all the dishes and mocktails of the restaurants. But Masala cold Drinks and Fruit Punch was cool enough to accompany the good food. Worth a try, really delicious food in pocket friendly manner.
I ordered momo. That was good enough.. Loved it. But I would request not to use garlic in stuffing.The raw smell of garlic was bit irritating. And basically Momo stuffing doesn't require garlic. Otherwise the food was perfect.

Their starters, main course, everything are fine.
But a special mention about their mixed noodles. Perfect, in one word just. And their chilli chicken consists of 10 pieces. It's a small place, and service is a bit slow. Still, it's beautiful.

1) Burnt Garlic lemon coriander soup :- the quantity was huge..easily can be divided by two.. It was a perfect soup to star off with.. With good amount of shredded chicken, broccoli,mushroom and coriander leaves with a hint of lemon made it heavenly😍 priced at 140 INR..
2) South Asian Fried Rice :- This was more like the normal mixed fried rice.. Nothing special to distinguish.. Priced at 200 INR
3) Kung Pao Chicken :- This was really special.. 8pieces of chicken cubes in a medium spiced gravy it was a perfect main course.. Priced at 240 INR

New additions to the Oriental foodhub @ Red Bamboo Shoot, Kasba.!
When it comes to Chinese food, Red Bamboo Shoot has always been my favorite. The aroma, the sheer fragrance and the quality is beyond comparison. The best part is their economical pricing and their giant portion sizes. This particular outlet, located at Nabapally, just close to Acropolis Mall, is one of their outlets enjoying undeniable popularity. We were there, to try some of their new additions as well as their old classics. We started with the hot and piping Chicken Lung Fong Soup. Fresh, right off the oven with crystal clear soup topped with egg whites, the beginning couldn’t have been any better.
Having already made a name for themselves in the Oriental domain, it was time to do something new and explore the uncharted zones. One of the recent examples of those is the Murgh Makhmali Seekh Kebab. Minced portions of chicken, stuck onto a skewer, and then put inside a tandoor to be grilled to perfection. Some of the other mouthwatering Kebabs were the Hara Bhara Kebab and the Murgh Rosali Kebab. The Indian maincourse comprised off a lovely portion of Murgh Dum Pukt Biryani, which was cooked in the traditional way of Dum, with the flavour of rice and meat getting infused within each other.
We paired this up with the Mutton Methi Chaman, comprising of lovely soft portions of mutton with a hint of Methi, giving it a sweetish, but not too sweet texture. Coming back to the Chinese cuisine, we tried the Red Bamboo Shoot Special Malaka Rice, and paired this up with the Shredded Chicken with Red & Green Pepper. The Rice was beyond any praise, and so was the chicken. The entire combination was subtle and light, like a marriage made in heaven.
What’s a meal without some dessert? If you are a dessert lover, try their signature Fried Ice Cream and also their Tri coloured Darsaan, the latter one being my all time flavorite. Glazed in three different syrups, and with a large scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, this is perhaps the best Darsaan served in Kolkata.!

Located near Frank Ross (Nabapally), this place serves lip smacking Chinese. We tried the veg Hakka Noodles and chilli chicken. The chilli chicken was amazing.
Went to this place at around 12:15 on a Sunday. We were the first people there and had to wait around 20 minutes for the starters.
For starters, we had Drums of Heaven and fresh lime soda. The drums had way too much fat on them compared to meat. The taste was okay. I've had better drums of heaven elsewhere. The soda was good. No complaints.
For main course, we ordered Authentic Chicken Fried Rice with a side of Garlic Pepper Chicken. The gravy was too thick but it tasted good. The portion of rice is more than enough for two persons. Value for money here.
For dessert, we had the Triple Sundae. This was a let down. It looks really great but tasted strange. The combination of ice creams they use do not go well together.
Service is quite slow although the staff is attentive and polite. The decor is pretty.
My friend and I were craving for some Chinese food and we visited this small joint well known for their Chinese cuisine. We had ordered mixed fried rice and Hakka noodles, both of which paired perfectly with some dry chili chicken. The price was quite reasonable as compared to the quantity of food that they serve. For starters, we had ordered the Lak Me Kai as suggested by the staff and it was as the waiter had explained. The dish was cooked to perfection. I also noticed few preparations of Lamb and cant wait to try them out the next time I visit this place.

It was a scrumptious combination of soy sauce, oyster sauce, spices and basil leaves. The fish was well fried and fresh.

This was a good preparation too. The gravy was well prepared and so were the fish pieces.

It was as spicy as it was described, we were totally in fire with the spices. But then, I loved it, since I like spicy food.

This particular outlet of Red Bamboo Shoot Restaurant is located in Rajdanga Area, Kasba, Kolkata. I was invited here to try out their Chinese Starters as a part of Rakhi New Menu Launch. The Restaurant is located on the first floor and is somehow like a cosy chinese joint. It is not quite a big space but can easily accommodate 4-6 tables here.
A small restaurant tucked away in Nabapally, but is really a gem. The Chinese food is simply perfect, with chopsticks. Dimsums are big in size, complete with soup. The hakka noodles are really well cooked. Loved the bamboo decor around. The price is quite affordable as well.
Goid food, enough quantity.. if you take 2 plates of mixed chowmein it will be enough to feed 4 people.. very nice taste. Do not be much experimental. Can opt for simple meifun, fried rice, chiwmein, chilly chicken etc..
This is located near acropolis mall in kasba. The restro is located on the 1st floor, while its ground floor is decorated with red coloured bamboos and small plants lined along the entrance as well the stairs. The interiors would remind one of an authentic chinese eatery with chinese music playing at the background. Ordered authentic chinese chicken fried rice alongwith chicken in malaka sauce. The rice was the regular chicken fried rice while the chicken was mildly spiced. For next time, i would rather team some other chicken preparation with this fried rice. The taste was good. Since its quite far from my place, would consider visiting this eatery when i am in that area. Last of all had a mango drink named out of control which was a bit spiced up. Tasted good :)

As a budget restaurant, this place provides tasty Chinese dishes at a pocket friendly cost. But the sitting arrangement is limited to a maximum of 30-32 persons at a time. Also the place doesn't have a proper washroom. The management should also look after the hygiene of the kitchen which continues up to the terrace and is very much unorganised and lacks cleanliness.

I have visited this restaurant around six to seven times in total and I have never been disappointed.. Great place to binge and chill.. But yes they don't accept cards.. So pay through app or cash.. But they serve awesome Oriental food.

Really a satisfying treat it was. The quantity is itself enough to impress you, then comes the taste, my mouths are still watery, its delicious man. A small place you will un notice may be, but you should give it a try. You will not be disappointed. The price, the taste and quality and the service everything was fine. Really loved the place.

Food was good in taste, although tried starters. Baked ice cream concept was innovative & tasted great. It's on the first floor, entrance & restaurant is not so big. However it's dark themed, nice & cosy, so you can enjoy with friends/family there.

Visited this place thrice. I liked their food and behaviour every time I visited. They maintain the quality and quantity of the dishes even during the festivals. One must try Khao Phad, Chicken in Malaka Sauce, Devils chicken, Fish in Devils sauce, Fried ice cream. Maintain this standard and keep serving like this.....:)

It is a small restaurant near Kasba tucked in on a side of Rajdanga main road. The ambience is perfect for a Chinese restaurant. Food quality and portions are good too. Price is quite affordable given the variety of items available.
