I have been here 3 times but every time I visit it feels it's my first visit n most important every time I am in a great confusion what to order as d food is too good that it creates problems in selecting d dishes.....
Fish Bao very spicy and saucy in taste, 5 * , liked by all. Pork har gao I loved personally. Beautiful to look at, and quite juicy in taste. Seafood Khao phad kraphao fried rice was tasty with lots of prawn, many fish and few squid pieces. Have tasted similar seafood fried rice at Chowman or many other places, but anyhow loved by all. Definitely ll try other items from here again. Delivery time was long and although portion size was good. Containers good, but momo sauces provided in ziplock pouches were not sealed, hence oil spills at multiple places. So that's 1 negative point, another negative point is that their food can be less oily which would make them better.
Great chinese food, and awesome ambience, also a lot of indoor games available
Chinar park has become the hotspot for a lot of popular restaurants including *Friends of pho*. The place has attractive decor and you get the right kinda vibe. It serves Pan Asian and Chinese cuisines. Now let's talk about the dish in frame. Originating from a region in none other than China, Roasted chilli pork has already become my favourite and would love to try again from other famous spots in the city. The pork meat of this particular style is either cooked with several spices followed by stir frying or it is roasted and then cooked in a wok. All in all it's tangy, spicy and overloaded with flavours. However, here i noticed the quantity was a bit less. But a must try for pork lovers! The Thai curry tasted like heaven! The soup was average. The quantity was less in comparison to the price. Considering everything, i would like to recommend this place. You will surely have a nice time here.

Food is quite good and is charged pretty like any fine dining restaurant.
Something i found the most interesting was the last mouthfreshner- it was a small paan ball dipped in white chocolate, tasty😋

I have delivered the food from friends of pho in this lockdown . I am very happy with their packaging , safe and hygenic delivery . Even when my house was 30 mins away the food was super hot.

2 chicken Kung pao (comes in diced chicken nd gravy with nuts ,onions,bell pepper nd carrots)
For starters I took your special chilli chicken (burnt garlic ,onions tossed in sauce)
The place was really amazing , ambience was amazing , decoration was great .The taste of the food and its quality was really great .

Each and everything was unique .
But we found it was a bit expensive (not much if we see the quality of food )

It was a wonderful place. The interior decor was really pleasant. Very intelligently decorated and with variety of stuffs to bring out a theme in it. There was a snooker table, one can enjoy before the food arrives and also a lovely place for the bookworms. The foods were unique in name as well as in taste. Overall loved it and would recommend everyone to try it.
I feel its too expensive but yes the food here is awesome and would like to go there for more dishes.
This place is in my neighborhood and I didn’t expect this place to stand out like this. I had 0 expectations when I walked in. I was surprised. It is spacious. Staffs are very well trained. Lip smacking good food and amazing décor. What’s not to like. I went to this place several times and I would recommend Lamb bao and Creme brûlée. Their chocolate pans are my favorite. I recommend this place to everyone.

We had sea food fried rice and Kung pao chicken. The rice was succulent and with ample shredded meat. The chicken had cashew in it and didn't have typical chinese flavour to it. But was quite tasty!
And and HERE'S THE CATCH! They serve bettle leaves (paan) coated with white chocolate as a post dine mouth freshner which blew me away! It was absolutely delicious and refreshing and INNOVATIVE TBH! 😍

Nice Decor * good ambient * asian foods are good..must try the dimsun: chicken dumplings.Crispy mutton is not like expected.Moctails are awesome.overall you will get a good timing with friends.Recomended.

The food quality and the staffs were great. They suggested us some varities of their specialities.We ordered dimsum, pan fried fish soup, one chicken, rice and prawn. Thai curry was awesome, Chinese menu also impressed me.Only drawback was they were taking time to serve which can be ignored if quality food is being served. Overall experience was great.

'Friends of Pho' is located at Rajarhat Main Road,right turn from Chinar Park Crossing towards Joramandir.I'd visited there last year Durga Puja time with my wife & friends.First of all ambience is very well decorative,seating arrangements were very spacious.Food Quality was also very good.At first we ordered here Mocktail:- 'Virgin Margarita Frozen (Kiwi Flavour)' & 'Orange Mojito',both were tasty.Then we ordered here 'Our special Chilli Chicken' & 'Dice Chicken with assorted pepper' 'Shanghai Chicken Dumpling' & 'Chicken Pan Fried Dumpling'.All items were tasty.Then we had tasted here 'Thai Chilli Basil Noodles','Chinese Fried Rice' with 'Tender Chicken in Kung Pao',it was also delicious.At last we ordered here 'Hazelnut Mousse with Peanut Chips' as dessert.It was also tasty.Little expensive but very good.
We ordered lunch from this place and were not disappointed.
The lamb confits are as good as the reviews suggest. The bread was soft and the filling delicious. The portions of the fried rice and kung pao chicken were surprisingly large, and worked perfectly as comfort food.
The pho however, a little off the mark. While the smell was comforting and I quite appreciate mild flavoured food, this one almost seemed to lack any flavour whatsoever.
I do look forward to going to Friends of Pho in person though.

Everything about all the items are lit. Loved everything. Banana Leaf wrapped Fish is a must. Prawn in Chilli Oyester sauce, Banana and Caramel roll with Vanilla Ice Cream not to be missed at all.
All the staff was very humble and courteous. Chef Mr. Sujan had magic in his ✋ s.

Located at a walking distance from Chinar Park, this cafe cum restaurant specialises in Asian cuisine. It has a huge seating area, boasting a carrom board and pool table along with an array of beautiful tables. The staff is very friendly. The interior is amazing. The ambience is perfect.
Coming to the food, we tried their appetizers. We had Roasted Chilli Mutton, which was very well prepared, but the quantity could have been better. Then we had Crispy Fish Chilli Pepper. This too, was well prepared. The fish was fresh and very crispy. Recommended.
The pricing is a bit high. But the ambience and quality compensates for it. Had a great time. Recommended.

Located at a very easily accessable place near chinar park. Only 2-3 mintues by walk from main road. Resturant was nicely decorated with board games like caram.We had some drinks and dessert. You can also use zomato gold on food. Food price was high and drinks price was okk.

Brownie with coconut ice cream(2/5).
Desserts and drinks tastes good except the brownie. All over it's a medium pricing resturant but you can have a good time there.
Really loved the ambience, very quirky and fun decoration :) nice choice of music too.
The food was pretty good too - could work upon the portions. We had the crispy fish chilly peppers for appetizers and the Malaysian Rendang seafood bowl for entrée. We really enjoyed the spices and cook on the squids and prawns in the latter.
Finally for the desserts, we had the hazelnut mousse topped with peanut chips. This was a bit heavy on the stomach owing to the large portion of pure chocolate. Tasted delicious too!

An amazing place found almost next door... Ample space, such well decorated - with a huge screen, pool table, book shelf, and rest decors. Coming to the food, such authentic and luscious. Each platter is just in point. The serving can be speeded up a bit but still, anyone would not like to lose patience for such marvelous platters. And the thing to not miss out, their authentic chefs. Visited this place with parents. The decor is south asian themed, and quite grand. Ambience is top notch for either a family outing or a date. We order hot and sour soup, corn and asparagus soup. The former was a standard one, however, the asparagus soup managed to impress us a lot. The flavors blended well within the thickness of the soup. For started we took Cambodian style grilled prawns. The coating was smooth, as the prawn melted in our mouth as soon as we put it in. For main course, we took pad thai noodles with seafood. It was a bit sweet, but was tasty nonetheless. As accompaniment we took whole river bhetki fish with Schezwan sauce. This was unbelievably well prepared, and decorated. My parents are quite the critic of fish, and they loved this dish. In the end, they provided some coated small paan, which was perfect ending. Definitely gonna recommend to everyone

One of the rarest of restaurants which would get a full rating in my opinion.. Have been hearing about this since a long time. Finally visited and I loved every food they served.. From Dimsums to Chilli Coriander Noodles to Chinese Fried Rice to various prawn and fish items, all were great. The best one was Chicken Bao. Will visit again and recommend all to visit it

It was a satisfactory experience but was costly.
I'll directly rate the experience accordingly:
Food: 3.5/5 ( Chicken Asian dumplings, special grilled chicken, chicken satay, mocktails were nice to have. I'd suggest that they improve the quantity. It seems a bit less when compared to other similar restaurants and considering other factors. Lemon grass cremebrulle was super yummy! )

We discovered this place on 31st dec night while we were looking for a decent dinner place.
We were completely stunned by the beautiful decors and courteous staffs. The colorful interiors made our 31st night.
We tried pan fried dimsums, Chicken dumplings, diced chicken with assorted pepper, Cantonese Pan fried noodles along with kungpao chicken.
The items were delectable and presentation was on point. Will surely visit again to try out their dimsum varieties.

It's 2mins of walking from chinar park. The moment you enter the place you start falling in love.
The ambience is too cool!! And the seating is too comfortable. The staffs were too courteous, they would come after every dish to ask if you've liked it.

✓ Pork confit: it's bao in layman's term. oh gosh!! this is the best bao we've ever had!!!♥️
✓ Banana wrapped grilled chicken: Oh my my!!! There cannot be tastier chicken preparation!! ♥️
✓ Signature noodle: we were skeptical about it, but one of staffs attending us suggested this as we were looking for something on the spicier side. And we loved it!! totally! the taste, the texture! it's mixture of crispy and steamed noodle! and the amount is so filling for two people. ♥️

If you want to taste authentic Asian food in Kolkata then this is the place for you. Not only the food was good but the ambience was also quite peaceful and serene due to their green Asian themed decor.
We had ordered the below dishes:
1. Corn and Asparagus soup - It was like the normal sweet corn soup and the quantity was bit less
2. Banana Leaf Wrapped Fish - Though it looked like Paturi from the outside but the taste was totally different and it was quite delicious. The fish was very soft and almost melted in the mouth and the masala was lip smacking
3. Thai Chili Basil Noodles- If you want to taste something different from usual noodles then I would suggest not to go for this as it was like normal schezwan noodles with tinge of Asian smell due to basil leaves
4. Prawn with Lemongrass Chili - The gravy was good with a light tangy lemon flavor but the prawns were very hard and we had to almost fight with our fork to cut those.
5. Fop Virgin Maragarita (Frozen) - If you have sensitive teeth please don't order this and it can't be eaten by one person alone. It was good and tasted better when eaten with the salt on the rim of the glass. It was different from the usual dessert.
The interesting part was the way they served the mouth freshner at the end. They were like small lollipops with a pan flavor.

This is my third visit to this amazing place serving really good Asian food. We were lucky to receive 1 on 1 drinks. They have amazing drinks cocktails or mocktails. Do try their dimsums which are filled with filling. I love their chicken satays served with peanut sauce. Chicken baos just taste out of the world. A must visit. Comfortable seating arrangements, good ambience and excellent service.

A decent Asian cuisine restaurant in the Chinar Park area, this one has a nice array of dishes that’s originated in countries like Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore and of course, China. We had Laksa soup, Banana leaf wrapped fish, a Thai fried rice and a fish dish, the last two suggested by the restaurant staff. All of them tasted good, though the Thai dishes had a distinct similarity with Chinese flavour. Quantity was good. Ambience superb. Staff courteous and friendly.

Though we ordered some basic Chinese items and those were not only delicious in taste but also had a huge portion size. This place should be on your must visit place checklist.

The ambience is nice. Comfortable lighting. Light Chinese music. You have some pastime activity options with billiards and carrom. Seating is comfortable. Some lounge-type sofas are also there to lean back and rest your head while sipping your drink. A car is renovated into their bar area, an interesting concept.
Coming to their food. In all my visits I have only tried their Chinese and Asian offerings, I believe their Indian and Mughlai will be just as good.
Service is top-notch.
The food is slightly overpriced. Although they do pride themselves as a place for fine dining so...
They have a sweet surprise at the end in the form of a complimentary mouth freshener, don't miss out on that.

Friends of Pho is an amazing Asian restaurant with its beautiful decor and ambience. This is located near chinar park crossing. The place serves mostly all kinds of Asian food from Chinese to Vietnamese to Thai. This place even serves alcohol of your choice and has happy hours, where you buy and get a drink free. This was my first visit to this restaurant which had soothing music going on, but the service was kind of late, but they made it up with their food. We had Shanghai chicken dumplings and their house special chilli chicken as starters. The dumpling was soo juicy and soft it literally melted in my mouth and the chilli chicken was very diff from what we have in our daily life. Then we had cocktails which were gimlet, John Collins,and one mocktail Shirley temple, every drink was really well made. For main course we took Mixed Chinese fried rice without pork and to go with that we had Vietnamese shredded chicken and prawns in chilli oyester sauce. The prawns were juicy and melted right away and was huge in size and the chicken was soft and tender but my favourite was the prawns. The chicken was a bit bland so will not go for that the next time. Overall my experience was amazing with great food and great company.

We actually headed towards a different resto. Trapped in a nasty jam, we diverted to this place seeing the listing in Google maps. it has a nice little parking, not visible generally, but the security guided us very politely once he knew that we were there for the restaurant. the interior is very nicely made. A pool table, a carrom board and a small book shelf adds to the decor. Once ordered, the food took a little long time, but the wait was worth it. the quality of food was really good and the portions were, let's say, thik thak. If you overlook the price, which is a little on the higher side, it is a good place for eating out pan Asian cuisine. Oh - and this place offers alcohol as well.

Best pan asian restaurant in Northern Kolkata. Each if dishes from Baos to dimsums to Noodles, each dish is cooked with perfection with courteous staffs. Perfect ambience with good offers on liquor and cocktails. Special mention to the desserts. Try this place you wont regret it.
The experience was like ecstasy. It was full of romantic and sophisticated vibes. It has quality food and service. You can definitely try various ranges of food items and you will never be disappointed. The Thai soup was great in taste and all other food items are very much up to the mark. The decor lighting and the music was perfect. Washrooms are also clean .
