We ordered chicken tandoori, schezwan fried rice, chilli fish and caramel custard. The chicken tandoori was soft and juicy. The schezwan fried rice was a little spicy but in a nice way. The quantity they gave is a lot, good enough for two people. The chilli fish was also good. Since our main course was spicy, we ordered caramel custard in the end and it was well above the mark!
The daab chingri is amazing here. This is a must try item here. All the food items are also affordable and made with safety guidelines in mind
Ordered mixed fried rice and chilli chicken ,a soup ,Chicken Tandoori. The taste of these dishes was really awesome and the price was affordable I would like to visit here again and again. The place is highly recommended.

This place is located at hatibagan crossing near to star theatre.
Last day we had mutton dakbunglow and tandori rooti.... Mutton dakbunglow was out of the world.. They provide you 3 piece of mutton which were perfectly marinated and it was soooo soft and juicy that it will melt in your mouth.... It was Lipsmacking good....and it also contained an egg.. Which increased its teste by infinity... The gravy had perfect texture and it had well blande of spices....

I have ordered the dish chital muitha.. The dish is too tasty.. better than expected.. since it is a very popular dish, so I always to try this from a well known restaurant.. all is ok but the gravy is loaded with too much of spices, which can be served a little dilute.. otherwise a perfect combination with jeera rice or steamed rice..

This place is just beside Hatibagan signal and not at all hard to find. I was there last week and really enjoyed my time there.
We ordered a bengali non-veg thali along with some garlic nan and chicken dish which I forgot the name of. We also had bhetki dish as starters. For the thali they don't have any fried item so we ordered Jhuri alu bhaja separately.
The thali was good. We love some of the dishes including Pabda shorshe and Golda chingrir Malaikari. We do have some issues with the dal, it was bit runny and watery. The tomato chatny also have the same issue, very runny consistently. Other dishes were really good.
Loved the Nan and Chicken.
For dessert we ordered Caramel Custerd, it was ok.
We had tp wait a relatively long time than the other guests for our order to come, and that irritated me a little bit.
Over all it's a nice place for the people who loves Bengali food.
This is one of the hidden gems of North Kolkata Resturanrs. Location is nice, right at Hatibagan crossing (on the 1st floorthough, one has to find out the entrance). Now about the food, I have been at this resturanr quite a few times, and I loved every item they served. This resturant serves Indian, Chinese as well as authentic Bengali dishes, in Indian items my personal favourite is the Mutton Rogan Josh, it was awesome and in chinese the Golden Fried Prawn was superb, in Bengali items everything is awesome in my opinion. Now, there are very few resturants in North Kolkata which has such varity of dishes, so C/o Bangali is definitely a must try for all the foodies. Bon Apetit!!

One of the most underrated Bengali restaurant in North Kolkata. The major drawback of this restaurant is about its area... it's quite small but it is quite cozy. The ambiance is very good. Coming to the food, though it is a Bengali restaurant you can get all kinds of cuisine here. But you should try the Bengali delicacies here. It's too good. You can also opt for thalis which is very much reasonable .

I went with my friends on Panchami night. We had ordered Fish Fry, Veg Hakka Noodles, Tandoori Roti, Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala, Steamed Rice and Bhetki Sorshe. Given that it was puja time, they took quite sometime to take the order. Most of the food items were standard; not much complaint on the quality as it was good. However the Tandoori Roti was not good and was pretty hard. Overall a good experience.

We went there for lunch on 2/10/19. It was Maha Chaturthi,so the place was pretty packed up. We had to wait around 15minutes to get inside.

Excellent taste of food...tried paneer butter masala and some types of nun....visited on last year's durga puja chaturthi. There was a huge line of hungry people and foodies..good ambience...good food...good taste...delicious and yummy..bt the menu was limited during durga puja tym, bt 'twas nyc...enjoyed a lot...wanna go again to taste some new foods

Have already been to this place thrice without any guilt & disappointment. One of the best place for bengali dishes with vast no. of varieties starting from Chinese, continental, North Indian etc. We ordered all veg this time:

Sundari Chicken- This is one of my favorite dish over here. It tastes just awesome.
Dhakai Mangsho Biriyani-The biriyani was too dry and didn't taste that good.
Chicken bharta-It also tasted amazing.
The staffs behaviour as well as ambience were also good.
Had a wounderful experience here. Visited few days ago. Food was awesome. This is near Hatibagan Market. They have verious kind of unlimited biryani combo. Very pocket friendly.

I have visited this place 5times over many years and everytime it has been a delightful experience.
Usually the quality of food deteriorates during pujo because of so much rush. But this place is an exception everytime, this is the second time I visited this place during pujo and I wasn't disappointed. The quantity and taste both were so good. They serve thalis during pujo and it's shareable. Most importantly they allow you to parcel the leftover, which is not allowed everywhere when you order a thali.
During normal time as well, their starters are as good as their main course.
Their food is worth every penny. It's a must visit.
