I have never been a huge fan of vegetarian food but I wanted to visit Hakuna Matata as I had heard a lot about them from fellow foodies,so I finally decided to pay it a visit for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality of food,specially the desserts were mind blowing,one of the best desserts I've had.
The service was equally good and the pricing reasonable.Highly Recommended.
It is a vegetarian Paradise.... Nice Ambience...eye catchy presentation... Even fusion taste is balanced and good...prompt service and courteous staff...good...keep it up..
Being a jain, there are very few restaurants where I get proper Jain food, leave alone a separate Jain menu. This is the only restaurant in Park Street which has one and we were extemely delighted to have the food. It was so delicious! A must try for all. :)

Thin crust or no thin crust, as i love pizzas i will DEVOUR any type of pizza u come up with 🤪 so if u like really thin crust pizzas then u may travel to Sicily, as it is originally from Italy, but ofcrse as u cannot travel now, u can visit Hakuna Matata instead. So "no worries" as u will get crispy crunchy and light pizza crust here. The toppings include olive, parsley, sun-dried tomato, garlic, and chili flakes. The white sauce pasta was too good. However it's a bit pricey i felt. Nevertheless, their nolengur cheesecake steals the show being the showstopper. This will surely leave you wanting for more n more...

The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect & the staffs were also courteous.
Honestly I m not a big fan of veg food but this place completely changed my mind.

We went here during the evening hours. The restaurant was well lit and the decor was very unique. The wish wall was something which caught our eye. It had thousands of wishes stuck on it. We even wrote some of our wishes before exit.
Now, coming back to the experience, the order placing process was easy. We opted for Zomato Gold, also.
We ordered, White sauce pasta, Nachos and Millionaire choco pastry. The pastry was amazingly mind numbing. Probably, the best of what we ordered. The Nachos was also good but better finish until they turn out cold.

Hakuna Matata being one of the best of the lot from that area which provides fusion veg dishes and keeps the guests wowing time and again. It caters to near about 40 to 50 people at a go. Along with their exotic dishes their ambience steals the show.
We, the team PanchPhoron and Am2PmFood were invited to taste some of their newly launched dishes from their menu.
01. Tibetan Soup in Tender Coconut-shell: Served with rolled Lachha paratha.
02.Bhutta Malai Tart: Fresh Sweet corn melted in Malai with Spinach frizzies as toppings on it.
03.Summer Vietnamese Roll: Picked Veggies dipped in Spicy tender mayonnaise and rolled in rice paper.
04.Thai Vegetable Meal Bowl: Coconut rice served along with Green curry.
05.Pesto Season Grilled Veggie Lasagna: stuffed with Pink Vegetable veloute and Parnesan Beans.
06. Chocolate Avalanche Mocha Mousse: Chocolate mousse along with crushed cookies served with hot chocolate.
07. Pudding Pie Millionaire's Choco: Choco Mud Pie with crunching nuts and berries.

· Tibetian Thukpa Soup served along with Lachcha Paratha:- This fusion food was served in a coconut shell. The soup was light, along with The fusion of the noodles.
· Bhutta Malai Tart:- A perfect mixture of malai and sweet corn, topped with spinach frizzies This was my favorite without any doubt.
· Summer Vietnamese Roll:- Fresh vegetables rolled and wrapped, inside the Rice paper with tender spicy Mango Mayo.
· Thai Curry Vegetable meal bowl:- Fresh green vegetable curry served along with the Portion of coconut rice.
· Pesto Seasoned Grill Veggie Lasagne:- Creamy Veg Lasgna, along with beautiful and healthy veggies stuffed with parmesan cheese and pesto sauce.
· Millionaire's Choco Pudding Pie:- The soft chocolate on top, and nut crunched along with it, is enough to make anyone’s mouth watery.
· Chocolate Avalanche Mousse:- with the warm chocolate poured over the soft chocolate layer, it’s an “oouuh-laaaaalaaa” for all Every Chocolate Lovers.
There was sufficient place to sit, as they have 2 floors, so the crowd shouldn’t be an issue at the time of the festivals or occasions as well.
Honestly, the day I was going there, I thought It’s just a “Vegetarian” Restaurant so how good will it be……
But today I still remember it and think that it was really WORTH it.

01. Tibetian Thukpa Soup served with Lachcha Paratha:- This fusion food was served in a tender coconut shell. The broth was light and warm and did go well with the crumbled lachcha.
02. Vietnamese Summer Roll:- Fresh vegetables seasoned with spicy mango mayo wrapped and rolled inside thin sheets of rice paper. This one's surely a taste changer if one's tired of having the regular dishes. The acidity cuts through the monotony.
03. Bhutta Malai Tart:- A perfect blend of sweet corn and malai topped with spinach frizzies served over tart shells. This was my absolute favorite.
04. Pesto Seasoned Grill Veggie Lasagne:- This creamy veggie lasagne was the perfect symphony of flavours packed with parmesan cheese and pesto sauce.
05. Thai Curry Vegetable meal bowl:- Authentic Thai Green Curry packed with flavors and topped up with broccoli, capsicum served with a portion of coconut rice was absolutely a bliss!
06. Millionaire's Choco Pudding Pie:-The warm, fruity, simple yet jaw dropping-ly tasty chocolate pudding pie will definitely transport one back to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory!
07. Chocolate Avalanche Mousse:- Oogey Gooey warm chocolate sauce is poured on the soft chocolate mousse. This one's a must try for all the chocolate lovers!
The hospitality was top notch and so was their food. All the dishes that they plated up were absolutely amazing!

It was a typical January afternoon and I and my friends wanted to grab some snacks and drinks to spend some pleasant time. When I stepped in what first grabbed my attention was a tree full of wishes and the Ambience. So we ordered "leaf and flower twist". In snacks we went for " Texas Baby Corn" And at the last for dessert we went for "Avalanche Mocha Moose". I will especially recommend to go for this drink, it was too good along with the dessert. Those to are for me were the best and the corn was typical baby corn. A must visit if you are in town.

Even though not fond of rice, I found its taste quite appealing. The dips added to the flavour. Pasta was also amazing. It had minimal veggies which was like cherry on the cake.
Can you truly ask everyone not to worry about anything around them? But 'Hakuna Matata' can, and they have been spreading this positive vibe and serving good food which, for a while stops you from worrying.
It's a complete Vegetarian Restaurant located at Park Street with a unique decor and beautiful ambience. And this place is one of the best dessert serving restaurants.

This is one of my favourite veg restaurant in Kolkata. Specially I would like to mention their hospitality, well behaviour and good food. Very innovative and tasty also. This is one of the best vegetarian places in town. Tried their cheese burst croquettes, baby corn, pizza, Koko Lava, Dark chocolate explosion, nolen gur cheesecake. The desserts deserve a special mention as they were the stars of our meal.
Best fusion cuisine till now. The litti choka shots in vodka just remind you of bihari taste and they just mesmerises the taste buds. Thai bowl with veggies is just awesome and tastes perfect. No words for shahi tukda. Its an perfect combination of all the ingredients and the taste is extremely good. Last aam paana fusion was nice.
Overall the ambience was soothing, calm, gentle and colourful.
Well firstly we got into the restaurant in a hurry. We needed a gold partner restaurant at parkstreet and we just ran into hakuna matata.. after entering we came to know it's VEG! and veg generally doesn't go well fitted with Bengalis.. so ordered food being a bit disappointed..
But trust me never knew veg can be soooo delicious..
Specially the dessert "nolen Gur er cheesecake.." omg!!!!!!!! Justtt sooooo delicious.. a must must must try..

This restaurant serves one of the best veg delicacies. It's located at Park street just opposite to The Park Hotel.
The ambience was so calm and peaceful with bright yellow lights, mirrors on the wall, hanging statue. I just loved the concept of the wish tree, you can write down your wishes and add it to the wish tree.

It is situated at Heart of the city, Park street. With paper-cuttings & lots more creative decor made this place quite lucrative. Though they serve vegan-food but the foods are served with utmost creativity. Last day we orederd-
⭐ Nutella Brownie Shake (220/-) :- who doesn't love chocolate shake! oh! That was something so soothing, so yumm & obviously very refreshing. With all the small pieces of brownies on top, the shake was damn good.
⭐ Caesar Salad (250/-) :- A new delicious way to feed you with veges. Lots of greens with mionese, definitely a very healthy choice which will satisfy your taste buds as well.
⭐ Aglio Olio Spaghetti (390/-) :- One of the altime fav dish of mine. Stuffed with lots of fresh veges, it is more than enough for your tummy.
⭐ Millionaire's choco pudding pie (240/-) :- This was like the Dessert of the day, The food of the day for me. I just loved it. The whole chocolate thing will drive you crazy & crave for more just the way I did.

Today I visited this no worry themed restaurant at park street .The restaurant is beautifully decorated,with quirky paintings,paper decorations,colourful posters and with a whole lot of cute decorative items.

Leaf and Flower twist (very refreshing)
Millionaire's Choco Pudding Pie(yummylicious and chocolaty).

Visited this acclaimed restaurant recently for Nabami lunch after reading about it. This is one of the very few vegetarian restaurant in the city.
◾ Location: Located right opposite Park Hotel in Park Street. Very easy to locate.
◾Ambience: The decor and seating was quite average. However, the 1st floor seating area was out of bounds for the day.
◾ Staff and service: The place seemed a little understaffed provided the ongoing festive season. The service was decent but slow.
◾ Here's what we ordered-
▪️ Mixed Sauce Spaghetti: This was extremely flavourful. Garnished with grated cheese. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection. This dish was a winner.
▪️DIY Pizza: This is a superbly unique concept that I absolutely loved. We get to select 4 toppings, choice of base and sause. The pizza comes in an unique rectangular shape and very fulfilling.
▪️Chocolate Pudding Pie: I've always had a love-hate relationship with desserts. I either love it enormously or hate it. No in-between. But this particular dessert was really delectable. Tastes more like a cheesecake with a biscuit base and served with chocolate sauce. Definitely a must-try!
Such a lovely ambience.. the food was also good, and the stuffs are really friendly and genuinely sweet.
The customizable pizza is very well made, rectangular shaped with a thin crust.
The udon noodles are hearty and satisfying.

This place was suggested to me by few Kolkata foodies when I asked for vegetarian recommendations. And I surely wasn’t disappointed at all when I visited this place. Here is my perspective about the place.
Food (4.5/5) - I tried two of their dishes. First, I tried Cheese Burst Croquettes and then ended my meal with Gur Nolen CheeseCake. Both of the dishes were quite good in taste as well as the presentation. Dishes were presented on wooden trays. I loved the Cheesecake very much that I could go to this place just for that cheesecake.
Service(4/5) - The staff was very friendly and courteous. The service was also pretty quick.
Ambience (4/5) - The ambience is also good and compliments your meal. I loved the wish tree in the ambience and the hanging sculptures.
Overall, the experience was quite good.
Top Most Highlight - Gur Nolen Cheese Cake.
Though serving only vegan food but this place present all their dishes with utmost creativity and without compromising with the flavours. Also, the staff's were well trained & friendly.

"HAKUNA MATATA", a Swahili language, which means "there are no troubles". Almost everyone knows that this word got famous after the animated movie Lion King, and since then, it has got a different level fanbase.
This themed restaurant situated at Park Street, just opposite to the Park Hotel, is based on the movie lion king, and especially based on this particular word, has raised the bar quite high.
The ambience is very soothing and the restaurant is decorated in a very unique way. There's a wish tree made on the wall, where the reviews of the customers are written on a sticky note and hung on that tree. A very nice way of keeping the reviews at one place as well as making the wall look pretty😍.
Now coming to the food, they were delectable. Each and every dish was made with utmost care and perfection and I would love to give them full credit for their presentation. 💯

Have crossed Hakuna Matata several times before, and now I wonder why I hadn't been there earlier! Located in Park Street, very close to the metro station, this beautiful restaurant gives you sense of joy in every aspect. The decor is unique and eye-catching! The wish tree concept in not new but I was seeing it for the first time and couldn't stop myself getting clicked in-front of it. We were greeted very warmly once we entered and the staffs made sure we were comfortable. About the food that is served, I would say the dishes were one of the best delicious foods that I have tasted in a long time. Also every single item was presented in an awesome way. People who love to see food as much as they love to eat, this place is sure going to give you immense happiness. The cost is totally justified, not on the high side at all (taking into consideration of the quality of the dishes and the presentation). We ordered Cheese Burst Croquette, Grilled Veggie Lasagna, Guava Mary, Spicy Twist and Mocha Mousse (all items suggested by the waiter (and I want to go and hug him for his suggestions)). Although I am no food critic but being a big time foodie I found there was nothing wrong in the dishes and the drinks (Guava Mary and Spicy Twist) were something out of the world. At last they gave us some pan chocolates as a nice gesture for free! Yaay to that!! I highly recommend a visit to this place and satisfy your taste buds!

I believe this is a more 'Visual' dessert than a real one.. You'll know what I mean once you order this! Before the explosion, the staff or the server will first decorate the sheets of paper with chocolate sauce, Strawberry syrup, gems, choco chips, dates, nuts, pomegranates, etc..Once it's done they'll explode the big ball of dark chocolate containing 'surprise' ingredients inside..
A visually enticing dessert! Also do try out their Nolen Gur er Cheesecake! 🔥 Highly recommended!
