Palki is a good well maintained restaurant nearby within affordable price. The foods are very tasty here and the stuffs are quite polite. The ambiance is very friendly. Must try here Schezwan chicken, fried rice, dry chilli chicken. ❤️

Fish Tikka Masala ( it tasted amazing and it combined really well as a side dish with the chicken biryani)
I would strongly recommend their Fish Tikka Masala.
For desserts we had the Tutti fruity Ice Cream, it was really yummy and beautifully presented with cherries.
Planning to revisit this place and would recommend people to try out their dishes.

Palki is a very old restaurant but recently before the puja they have renovated it and extended there menu to North Indian and Chinese.That makes them a Multi Cuisine Restaurant.They also have a Bar counter for both hard and soft drinks.
Location : The place where it is located is also named after this restaurant so you can either take a bus and land on to palki bus stop (if you are coming from EM Bypass) Or you can just take a metro to Kavi Nazrul and then take a rickshaw. The place can be easily located using Google maps.
Ambience : Since we went there before the Christmas, the restaurant was nicely decorated with Christmas tree and lights. The ambience was great with cosy seating arrangements and there was a light background music which made it more beautiful.
Food : Coming to the main part, we went there to try out there Christmas menu so we were served various drinks when we entered.

Palki , a multi cuisine restaurant at patuli is an old scool place of this locality . Serving great food for a long time , this place has witnessed a lot of happy customers it has just got a new look but still maintains its quality p. Reaching this place is easy , you can either come via metro to kavi Nazrul and then take a rickshaw upto palki , or you can come via upto 45 stand . It's right in front of the main road .
As soon as I entered the place , i was welcomed by their staff with a smile and found the ambience quite interesting. It's all decked up to celebrate Christmas with balloons , Christmas tree and Christmas lights .This place also serves hard drinks and the bar section looks more beautiful.
Let's get to the food and drinks we had.An array of mocktails arrived at our table first . Which had Cold coffee with ice cream ,Green paradise ,Fruit punch ,Pink panther ,Chocolate horse . Of which the green paradise had a kick from the chillies , it was all dress up in green with mint being the hero . It acts as a palate cleaner while you dig into your meal.
The fruit punch had dominating flavours of mazza , so a mango based drink along with pineapples . I liked it very much being a mango lover .
The cold coffee with ice cream was a classic presented with excellence. The coffee wasn't strong and the scoop of vanilla at the top tasted heavenly together.
The chocolate hourse on the other side highlited the sweetness coming from the chocolates . It was more like a milkshake than a mocktail although it held its flavours quite well
We kicked off with two kebabs from the nonveg section
Chicken Greenland kebab : This one as the name suggests is a take on the chicken haryali kebab . 6 pieces of boneless kebabs served with green chutney. The kebabs are marinated with greens like pudina, chilly and grilled to perfection.
Rajastani Mutton chorma kebab : This is a take on Rajastani minced mutton kebab. Minced mutton mixed with spices, given a round shape , coated in a crumb and deep fried untill turned golden .Served with green chutney this is a flavour bomb although it's very dry and biscuity. You can find traces of crushed papad over this kebab which adds to its presentation.
Keema pao : Pao bhaji served with mutton Keema as the bhaji . 4 piece buttered pao paired with mildly spicy Keema . The mutton Keema was very tasty , i would prefer a little more spice on my Keema .
For the mains we mainly focused on
Chicken biryani : A bowl of fragrant basmati rice with a chicken piece and potato . Quantity is enough for one . Taste is also decent .
Fish tikka masala: One of the best tikka masalas in town. The gravy has a kick from spice mixes . Big boneless fish chunks immersed in the tangy spicy gravy. The fish was so well cooked that it just tore apart with a touch from the fork .
Finally no great meal can ever end without a proper dessert and tutti fruity delivered its role in style . It showcased the perfect marriage between cut fruits and ice cream .
In a nutshell , Palki is a spacious restaurant which can accomodate a good mass of crowd and serves decent quality food at reasonable prices where i enjoyed most of the food.

So, I visited their event of #KababFestival. There were actually 50types of kababs. Sorry, I couldn't click on the menu card.
I ordered #kasturikabab. As You can see its quantity and size, the picture says it all. 🙂
It was damn delicious! Served hot, and the most attractive part was the waiter or the manager himself would explain and would tell you about the preparation of the food. So that you could choose the correct one for u.
I order #hyderabadichicken. Ok so there is a catch. The Hyderabad Chicken what we generally eat, was not taken by us. They used to prepare it in 2different ways. So, I tried the other one. And it was quite good.

As it happens, there's a Kebab Festival going on there & I happen to love Kebab. Hence ordered a plate each of Al Pudina Kebab, Galawati Kebab, Kolkata Style Tandoori Pomfret along with Few Bottles of Tuborg Beer. Really loved the Food, the Ambiance and the Service. This place is one of the only places serving alcohol in the area. Be there before 22:30 or they close the bar. Food and alcohol options are generic. Pricing is decent.
This is one of the oldest one in this area and decent obviously. Foods are delicious but quantity isn't justifying with the price. Ambience is very beautiful. Staff's are good too. Infact very neat and clean.

Good food quality spacious as well, easy to park your car, if you want to have some good time with your old pal or some office colleges, this is the perfect place, refreshments and booze served!!

The food is good. I had fried rice and a paneer. It was good. It is located near the new floating market which makes it more interesting. Prices are a bit high but they are decent and the food is worth it.
It is one of the oldest restaurants in the locality. I have been there a lot of times. Always liked the place. But now, their quality has decreased unexpectedly. They need to improve a lot in every aspect especially in service and quantity.
The place is quite ok. The location is amidst an upmarket residential neighborhood and the decor is good. The place serves liquor and snacks are tasty. We had ordered Chinese which was good; not too oily. The place can be visited once.

This place had been on my bucket list for quite sometime and I must say that though I had very high expectations from the place, it managed to only meet them, but also surpass them. The ambience is beautiful. The decor is amazing and the music being played is also very soothing. The food was absolutely delicious. I highy recommend this place to all the food lovers of the city and I must say that you are missing out big time if you haven't been to this place.
This is a multi cuisine resturant and bar. we visited here multiple times ..the food is finger licking good ..but the service is not at all upto the mark ..no person is there to help in parking on the open road . No wheelchair accessible entry or parking is there ...and also there is a huge delay in delivering the orders...we have to ask them repetitively to get ours ...this can be visited for a casual dinner ... don't expect anything premium ..
The quality and quantity of food was good. Ambience was good. Chicken lollipop was very tasty. Overall chicken and fried rice items were good. Mutton do peaza was bad. Don't order mutton. Staffs were nice. Price reasonable. Card payment is not available. Car parking available. There is only 1 wash basin. This can be a problem in crowd. One must try this restaurant.

Located at roughly 10 minutes walking distance from Patuli Floating market. It's a restaurant with bar. Good for casual dining in groups. Food is good, served without much waiting. Staff is cooperative. Not authentic north Indian cuisine, but dishes themselves are tasty. Worth a second visit. Or fifth!

Palki has been our go to place for quite a few years now. We have tried almost everything in the menu, and they are delicious. They allow a bit of customisation based on your taste. They also boast a decent collection at their bar. But what stands out is their service. Now they remember us by names and they never falter in their welcoming gestures. Go Palki!

I tried the chicken biriyani and the fish tikka Masala and opted for the tutty fruity ice cream as a dessert! The quality, quantity and taste was pretty good. Loved the taste!
Loved it absolutely, the service was great. Ambience is also pretty nice. They even serve alcohol and great starters too.
One can drop in any day to try out their delicacies.

Palki is a Multi Cuisine Restaurant located in Patuli.They also have a Bar counter.
The restaurant has a great ambience with cosy seating arrangements and they play a light background music and the place is very beautifully decorated.
I went there with my friends, few days back to try out their Christmas menu so we ordered:
*Mocktails*
Fruit Punch (It was basically a mixed fruit punch )
Pink Panther (a strawberry flavor mocktail served with cherries )
Green Paradise (It was a mint flavor drink which was sweet, sour as well as spicy.)
Cold Coffee with ice cream
( Cold coffee with ice cream and chocolate syrup, highly recommended for coffee lovers )
Chocolate Hourse ( chocolate flavored mocktail with chocolate syrup)
I would recommend the Cold Coffee with Ice cream and Chocolate Hourse.

Chicken Greenland Kebab (Greenland Kebab was a green coloured chicken kebab, and it was really delicious)
Chicken Churma Kebab
( Chicken Churma Kebab is quite a unique dish topped with papad pieces and presented with green chutney)
*Main Course*
Keema Pao ( served with 4 pieces of pao and chicken keema, it was yummy and spicy)
Chicken Biriyani ( loved the biryani which was served with big chicken pieces)
Fish Tikka Masala ( it tasted amazing and it combined really well as a side dish with the chicken biryani)
I would strongly recommend their Fish Tikka Masala.
For desserts we had the Tutti fruity Ice Cream, it was really yummy and beautifully presented with cherries.
Planning to revisit this place and would recommend people to try out their dishes.
Palki Multi Cuisine Restaurant is a Hidden Treasure Trove to be honest. Last night went to the place for some booze but ended up having their Delicious Food Dishes. As it happens, there's a Kebab Festival going on there & I happen to love Kebab. Hence ordered a plate each of Al Pudina Kebab, Galawati Kebab, Kolkata Style Tandoori Pomfret & Mutton Biryani along with Few Bottles of Tuborg Beer. Really loved the Food, the Ambiance and the Service. Its recommended.

Yes, it pulls crowd to overcrowded in Durga pujas and other festive season.
I haven't entered into inside Palki, but who had a taste of their food, said it is ok and good only.
