Recently I visited this cozy cafe very near to Rabindra Sadan metro and I had a wonderful time there. This cafe has beautiful interiors, with ambient lighting and the food is excellent. The quantity is good as well. The prices are reasonable and what's more, you'll get hookah for great prices. Really loved the place. Definitely planning to pay a visit sometime soon.
Just a few minutes away from the Metro Station Ravindra Sadan, this cafe is quite a beautiful place to spend some quality time in. For lunch we ordered Crispy Chilly Baby Corn, Cajon Chicken, Cheese Fried Mozzarella and Cheese Paratha with Dal.
For drinks we settled with Cocktails and Margarita.
For the dessert we ordered a Choco Plant which tasted heavenly.
There was hookah as well for those who wanted it. Cheers and Happy Eating! ❤️❤️

Was here yesterday and have to tell, one of the best cafes available in kolkata. The food was nice and the ambience was great. Yes the prices are on the expensive side, but the quality sure does makes it up
We had
Choco plant --268/- the most amazing dessert I have ever tasted and is basically a lyer of chocolates above a vanilla ice cream
Cheesey fried mozzarella- 218/- as the name suggests, the cheese sticks are fried and served. The Quantity is less though, but the taste is great
Cocktails margarita-268/- this dish was also amazing
Cajon chicken-248/- I found this dish somewhat average
Cheese paratha with dal- 218/- one of my favorites. Surely it was great
Crispy chilly baby corn 198/- one of the best dishes here
Black Berry-228/-
Green Apple mojito-198/-
Out of all of these I would personally suggest choco plant

A few days back I was at 88 + cafe. This cafe is located near Rabindra Sadan metro station gate number 3. The food and drinks starting from the starters till the desserts everything was so good. The ambience is also so lively. And the staffs are courteous too. I had a very good experience being at the 88 + cafe. Also I tried their hookah which was so so good.
88 + cafe is llocated near Exide metro station which serves a variety of dishes including both vegetarian and nonvegetarian. They also have a wide range in the mocktails. I trird the spring roll and and the veg pizza both of them tasted really good also for dessert we ordered ice cream sundae which tasted so amazing. This café is located near Exide more, just outside the gate of Rabindra Sadan Metro station gate number 4. The cafe is at the ground floor. The interior of café is really good. They have a huge seating area. We ordered some lips-smacking food such as :-
Virgin mojito(₹198) and 88+special moctails(₹298) :- we started our meal with some amazing refreshing mocktails..
Jungle lolipop( ₹ 268) :- It was a great non veg starter in which minced chicken ball was placed at the edge of a toothpick. This one was unique.

88 special desert( ₹268) :- We ended our meal with a sweet note. The special dessert had ice cream and some excellent toppings with it. Really a nice one.
A must try place to visit with friends and families..The cool ambiance and the delicious food are the main things here to visit. Will come here again soon.
Eighty 8+ cafe is located just beside of the gate no 4 of Rabindra Sadan metro Sadan. Ambiance is simple and the sitting arrangements are very cosy. Mexican wave pizza it was a thick crust pizza topped with veggies and small amount of chicken. Veg spring roll was crispy and the stuffing was very cheesy. Jungle lollypop was deeply fried chicken and goes well with mayonnaise. They also serve shisha. Prices are pocket friendly so this café can be good option for the college goers.
Kolkata is flooded with cafes and restaurants and here's another cafe located at one of the busiest part of the city ,to chill out with your friends over a hookah ,some good food and great music . Cafe eighty 8+ stands right on the main road at Exide more towards Bhawanipore. Best possible way to reach the place is to take a metro upto sadan and exit via gate number 4 will lead you to this place . It is a dimly lit cafe with good crowd capacity . Prices are on the higher side . You can play numerous board games with your gang and spend as much time as you like .
Let's get to the food that we tasted
•Jungle lolipop(268) : Chicken chunks tossed in spicy tangy sauce and stuck on a toothpick .
•Veg spring roll(198) : Crispy deep fried vegetable stuffed rolls served with a salsa .
•Boom stick(398) : An intresting take to the usual chicken lollypop . Here meat is removed from bones of chicken and then minced ,mixed with other spices and then it is again stuck on the bone ,finally deep fried .
•Mexcican wave pizza non veg(308) :
A cheesy pizza with good amount of chicken chunks as topping and lots of cheese to win your heart.
•Mexcican rice with jacket potato(278) :
Rice with corn kernels and other veggies served with spicy jacket potatoes .
•Virgin mojito(198) : A refreshing mocktail to finish off the meal
One of the best places I've been to in 2020. Really good ambience, courteous staff and droolworthy dishes. And trust me, both the quality and quantity is great too. Totally worth the prices. They certainly have an extensive menu, but we had quite a few things. Drinks : •Virgin Mojito •88+ Special Mocktail Dishes: •Jungle Lollipops •Veg Spring Rolls •Boom Stick •Mexcican Wave Pizza •Mexican Rice with Jacket Potato Dessert : •88 Special Dessert And my personal favorite was Boom Sticks and their Mexican Rice with Jacket Patotoes. You must certainly try these. They're a masterpiece. This place is worth giving a try. Highly recommended from my side.
Nice place and nice ambience and nice environment to hangout with friends.. .. Staff service is good specially by Mr. Pallab..
The best service by pallab❣️
I love this place...never felt as a customer....especially when @pallab banerjee is on the floor to serve.
Nice place, worth the money. Good service by staff Sujoy, very courteous. Place has good music going on anytime. Used to be pure veg earlier, that was much preffered in the location.
If u ever visit this place ask for pallab amazing service skills and make u very comfortable..
Cool place with nice ambience... Good staff service..
Nice place.... Eco friendly
It's a gud cafe with the best hookah and offers... This cafe is very much pocket friendly... It's a very nice place to hangout with frnds and have fun... Staff is also gud.... It's not a very big cafe but it's amazing... I liked it....
Food is super duper tasty....nd place is awesome...near the metro...hookah is good here ..staff service is also good....they are co operative...best place to hang out with group
Best place for having hookha in the locality... It is a pure veg joint... The menu is short and crisp... The service is bit on the slower side... Staffs are friendly tho... Ambiance is decent but the food and hookha with make it up for it...
Recommendations are...
"Crispy Chilly Babycorn", "Hakka Noodles", "Quesadilla Montary Jack", "Cheese Corn Ball", "Choco Plant" and "Four Topping Pizza"...
"Orange Spring Water" and "Teen Paan" from Hookha...
Pocket Pinch is friendly...

One thing I've noticed in our current generation and a generation younger is the craze of Hookah. Go to any Hookah bar you will find a group or two of teenagers enjoying Hookah. But here the scenario is different. Here you won't even get a sit, because most of the time all the tables are booked by young people.
Located just next to Rabindra Sadan Metro, Gate No 4 near PC Chandra this place is little small and congested. But lots of tables are there inside. Ambiance is pretty simple, loud music is the main entrain. So we concentrated on Hookah and food...
Cheese Corn Balls @ Rs.178 (3.75/5) :
--------------------------------------------
Till the Hookah comes you need something to eat right? These crispy Cheese Corn Balls are saver at that time. Fine crisp, dry cheese and corn inside, served with mayo was a good starter.
Four Topping Pizza @ Rs.268 (3.5/5) :
-------------------------------------------
Cheese you say, cheese you get. This medium sized pizza was overloaded with cheese and vegetables underneath. 6 slices were awesome, crust was thin.
Quesadilla Monetry Jack @ Rs.188 (4.5/5) :
------------------------------------------------
Beside the complicated english name, it was simply a paratha wrap with cheese, mayo, veggies like onion, tomato, capsicum etc. Served with yogurt and salsa dips, amazing thing was how less oily the wrap was but it was packed with flavours. It's one of my favourite dish here and a must try for everyone.
Choco Plant @ Rs.168 (3.5/5) :
----------------------------------
It was just pleasure to look, better to say I haven't seen a dish like this before. Chocolaty crunchy brownie mashed with ice cream was served with mint leave on top. Just like a plant on a pot.
So you come here for Hookah and you get so much of decent quality food. Don't know much about Hookah but personally I liked their food. Maybe I'll give them a second try for their Quesadilla Monetry Jack.
Last week I was at Elgin and visited Eighty8+ kafe near Rabindra Sadan Gate no 4. I would like to recommend this place for hookah lovers and the young generation. This place serves only vegetarian food.
Tried :-
Crispy Chilly Babycorn (Recommending)
Hakka Noodles
Quesadilla Montary Jack
Cheese Corn Ball
Choco Plant
Four topping Pizza (Recommending)
Overall my experience was great. The service was bit slow but the food was amazing.
Disclaimer:- This review is based on by the invitation of the restaurant management.
Located at the heart of the city, just a minute walk from Rabindra Sadan Metro; this cafe is a buzz among the students of the Bhawanipore College for their great quality vegetarian food and hookah. The ambience is dim lit and the restaurant has moderate spacing, if not big. Another interesting feature is that all their pricing of the menu has an "8" in their unit digit thus justifying the name "Eighty 8+" cafe.
Few days back, I visited this outlet and tried out the following items:
1. Crispy Chilly Babycorn- The Babycorn was crispy and made with sheer perfection. The perfect starters one can gorge on in a vegetarian Restaurant.
2. Hakka Noodles- I felt is was okayish. I could have been better.
3. Quesadilla Montary Jack (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)- Fancy name for Paratha which was stuffed with cheese, Mayo and addition of veggies only enhanced it's taste. It was definitely the best dish of the evening and I highly recommend everyone to try this out.
4. Cheese Corn Ball (RECOMMENDED)- Finely crisped cheese and corn stuffed balls alongwith mayo dip was the perfect starter alongside the hookah served to us.
5. Four topping Pizza- 8 inch pizza topped with cheese and veggies is a perfect delight for any vegetarian pizza lover.
6. Choco Plant (RECOMMENDED)- Chocolate crunch brownie was served with mashed icecream. Addition of chocolates to it only enhanced it's taste and it was served with a mint leaf on top.
Overall, I had a great outing. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit.
If you are looking for a place to hangout with your friends without burning a hole in your pocket then eighty 8+ kafe is the perfect place for you. It is a pure veg place serving lipsmacking veg items and hookah. They are mostly famous for hookah.
Ambience of this place is nice and cosy. Loud background music is perfect to chill and enjoy.
Location-
This place is located near Rabindra Sadan metro gate number 4.
I had tried,
Crispy Chilly Babycorn- crispy fried baby corn tossed in hot and tangy sauce with bellpeppers and onion. Taste was good.
Hakka Noodles- It was like regular noodles. It was not too oily. Tossed with lots of veggies.
Quesadilla Montary Jack- It was too good. It had a crunchy outside with stuffing of lots of veggies and cheese.
Cheese Corn Ball- Perfect starter for cheese lovers. It was crispy from outside and soft from inside.
Four topping Pizza- It was tasty and loaded with lots of cheese and veggies and the base was so soft.
Choco plant- Perfect to end up your meal on a sweet note. Vanilla ice cream topped with crushed brownie and oreo. It was really tasty.
Overall this place is really nice. Only drawback is the ventilation is not good so kindly improve it so that everyone can enjoy each moment fully without any complain.
Do visit them and if you are non veg lover then you also should give it a try.
While the Café culture is slowly growing in town, the craze for Hookah is not so far behind in terms of popularity. People come with their friends, order their favorite flavoured hookah and spend some quality times with some quick bite food. Yess, if you love both Hookah and good quality food at a common place, then Eighty8+ Kafe is your must stop destination.
Location - Located just next to Rabindra Sadan Metro, Gate no. 4. If you have a problem to find the proper metro gate then ask for PC Chandra Showroom. The place located just next to it.
Ambiance and Service - Semi dark ambiance with loud music. You can feel the happiness of the crowd and that's the main usp here. But I will suggest ine thing to the management - 'Please try to make sure the ventilation and air purification process is smooth' , because sometimes the smoke gets too thick inside. Service is quite bit slow, may be due to the peak hours and small size of the kitchen.
Food - Now come to the main part, the food part. We ordered -
◆ Cheese Corn Balls - Six pieces of the cheese ball served with normal and spicy meyo dips. Properly crispy outer coating with juicy fillings inside. Goes excellent with any types of mayo.
◆ Four Topping Pizza - Regular size bread, topped with pizza sauce, veggies and extra loaded cheese. Forget about anything and enjoy the cheesy affair inside of your mouth. 【Must try item】
◆ Quesadilla Monetry Jack - As a Tex-Max food lover, quesadilla is one of my favourite food in terms of flavour. But here somehow I feel they tried to prepare is not so in traditional way. The outer coating was not so high crispy but lite fried and they filled it with cheese, veggies like onion, tomato, capsicum etc. Served with yogurt and salsa dips. The taste of the item is just awesome, specially the arome of pure ghee, just heavenly. Salsa dip was little bit watery but the yogurt was really smooth. 【Must try item】
◆ Choco Plant - If you are a desserts lovers, then this item is just made for you. Vanilla ice cream, topped with crunchy smashed brownies & mint leaves on top. Taste good but could be better if it is served in hot conditions.
So in conclusion, I must say don't expect to much quantity from the food section as it is not a proper dine in restaurant. But if you love hookah and want to spend sime quality time with your friends then you can definitely visit this place. Over all it was a good dining experience.
¿¿Somehow from my point of view the restaurant deserves the rating in between 4.0 to 4.5 out of 5, but not more than that. Due to the vogus rating system in zomato, I give them 5.0 as a overall rating.
This is a lovely place to chill out with friends.. They serves very good quality of Hookahs. This place is totally veg but the food is really awsome.
We tried:
1.Crispy Chilly Babycorn:
Totally crispy, yummy and good in quantity.
2.Hakka Noodles:
less use of oil but still very yummy.
3.Quesadilla Montary Jack:
A tasty and juicy stuffing while the outside is crunchy.
4.Cheese Corn Ball:
On the first bite one can totally enjoy the crunchiness of it then the smooth cheesy inside with sweet corns will definitely make you fall in love with it.
5.Four topping Pizza:
It is blast of cheesyness. The Bread was properly cooked and the topping is so cheesy, juicy and very tasty. Surely one of the best veg pizza which I have tried.
6. Choco Plant: A lovely with desert with good balance of chocolate syrup and Brownie.
The food was really good. Service is fast and good. The ambience is very cool. Pocket friendly also.

Eighty8+kafe situated at Chowringhee Road,Near PC Chandra,Elgin. It's a cafe that serves North Indian and Mexican cuisines. Well this place is famous for all the Hookah lovers. This place is quite specious and can accommodate upto 40-50 people at a time.
I was here two days ago with my friends and we tried out two Hookahs - Teen paan Rose and Orange springwater.
Coming to the foods my friends I tried-
Crispy Chilly Babycorn- Fried tossed in sweet and sour Szechwan sauce, it was really tasty. Perfect for quick bites.
Hakka Noodles- Stir fried Noodles with sauces and vegetables.

This place was on my list from a long time and I visited this place this week. It is fairly famous for hookah. Well we tried out two hookahs, orange springwater and teen paan rose and both turned out to be good. I loved the teen paan rose with ice base which was awesome. Very smooth hookahs with dense fumes.
Coming to the ambience this is quite a big lounge. I have heard rumours that the place is shady and dark but they have proper lighting arrangements, one can ask the staff to switcg on the full lights accordingly.
Coming to the food I have tried some of the appetizers. So first thing you will notice about this place is that all the dishes end up with 8 in their pricing and that's the reason it's called the eighty 8 kafe.
The dishes we tried out were :
▶️Crispy Chilly Babycorn : Quite crunchy and tasty. You can have this as finger food. Quantity served is also good.
▶️Hakka Noodles : It was good as of a veg hakka noodles. Taste was good and is recommended to try if you opt for noodles.
▶️Quesadilla Montary Jack : Excellent. The crunchy outer crust was the highlight and the stuffing was good and and the amount was reasonable too. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)
▶️Cheese Corn Ball : I found it to be okayish. Could be better.
▶️Choco Plant : Really a nice dessert to be tried. I loved it. It has ice cream in the bottom. (RECOMMENDED)
▶️Four topping Pizza : This was full of cheese and the base was of a very soft porous bread. Very soft and cheesy. If yoy are a cheese lover you can try this.
.
Overall it is a place to come with friends and have nice time over hookah and grab some reasonably priced veg food.
88+ Kafe is for the once who enjoys vegetarian. It has the best food and my favourite there is their mixed sauce pasta . It’s very saucy and tasty . And this cafe is very reasonable I have been there many times . Infact now their service and ambiance have changed and it’s amazing if you want to visit a vegetarian cafe then you must visit this one .
It’s quite a good place to chill nice service and good hookah.had a great time being there, visited several times.very good and polite service
Cafe is good, hookas are nice one, price is not so high of food and moctails etc at a nice and easily recognisable location the cafe is really good
We were looking for a late night hangout spot and my friend suggested this place.Located at a very convenient place just infront of Sadan metro pulls a large number of young crowd. We reached at about 9.The staffs were warm and polite. The ambience is good if not anything special. One point to be noted, this is a vegetarian place. So mind before you visit. They have an amazing offer going on.You get a hookah free on minimum billing ₹500.For food we ordered-
Baked pasta in mixed sauce- I was blown away by the dish.Totally loved this dish.Penne pasta cooked in creamy mixed sauce and baked with lot of cheese to perfection.Even the garlic bread was so soft and flavourful.Must try!
Risotto di verdure(Risotto with asparagas, mushrooms cooked in white sauce)- Served with two pieces of garlic bread, it was creamy, contained broccoli and was topped with olives.Loved this one as well.
Both the dishes were perfect for a meal and were lip smacking.Full marks for their food.
Paan flavoured hookah- We loved the flavour and it was on the house.
Howerver on asking for regular water they could not provide that, so we had to opt for mineral water.Another con is they add a service charge apart from gst.
I would totally recommend this place for their food.Go visit!
Happy dining :)
It is one of my personal favorite place in the city as it is very customer friendly place
It has some of the best offers
Do try their crispy chilli baby corn
Very good service is given here. No worries. Prices are not high. Food is tasty as well. Space is not small enough. Its very neat and clean. Best place with family and friends
It's a nice place that you can visit with both family and friends. The food here is also good. The ambience is fine plus they play good songs for you to have a nice time. We had tried their spring rolls, pizza, pasta and much more. I would highly recommend this place. Happy fooding!
I visited this cafe the last week. And the staff is good but the service is late. We they have an outdoor sitting where no hookah is available and an indoor sitting where it is. We ordered more but could just take these snaps. The food was good and the desert is a must try.
Lovely ambience. Fast service. Friendly staff. Pocket friendly.... Must try.... Apart from large variety of hukka, other foods like brawny and Christy chicken is mind blowing

With the abundance and flurry of vegetarian café’s and hookah joints, Eighty8+ Kafe turns out to be a real winner. Located conveniently close to Exide Crossing, and right opposite Tibetian Delight (If you know where the place is), this Kafe is named right after its address and immediately sparks off a curiosity about its existence. While you enter, you know, you are going to have a lovely and cool time. The sofas are comfortable, the music is not too deafening, the smoke is not too intoxicating, and mostly you have the option of relishing mouthwatering food, all vegetarian while taking in a puff or two off the hookah!
Coming to the list of dishes we tried:
Hong Kong Spaghetti
Pocketed Chilli Potato with Mexican Rice
Schezwan Potato
Cheese Bread
Jalapeño Cheese Fingers
Cottage Cheese Sizzler
The Pocketed Chilli Potato with Mexican Rice is perhaps the best thing you are going to taste in a while. Lovely Potato Wedges, tossed in chili sauce, and loaded with bell peppers and chilies. The Cheese bread is an immediate contrast to this, with the mildness of the cheese somewhat balancing the chili quotient of the potatoes. You can also pair the potatoes up with the Mexican rice, to cut off some heat. Try the Jalapeño Cheese Fingers as well, to taste some of the cheese gooeyness of jump straight to the Cottage Cheese Sizzler, which had two lovely paneer cutlets, as you may say in colloquial terms, absolutely soft and delectable. All these lovely food, with the accompaniment of some hookah, and you are going to have an evening worth remembering.

If you love to eat pure veg food, it should be in your bucketlist.
That day, after office me along with my foodie mates went to Eighty8+ Kafe and had all these.
Jalapeno Cheese Fingers were so nice and those cheese breads were so tasty. But the best part of the show was stolen by Cottage Cheese Sizzlers & Scezwan Potato, though I liked the Hong Kong Spaghetti too.
Please go and visit this place and let me tell you guys this is the only olace where you can get Tandoori Chai.
I was invited to this place for food tasting as a member of PanchPhoron.
It is a 3 minute walk from Exide.
It is a Pure Veg place serving delicious Veg Delicacies and Hookah.
Coming to the food, we tasted,
1)JALAPEÑO CHEESE FINGERS : Crispy Cheesy Fingers were served. They would melt in your mouth once you have a bite. This dish will be an all time favorite for cheese lovers. These fingers are served with a mayo dip.
2)SCHEZWAN POTATO : Spicy Dish. Potatoes are panfried in sauces with onions and bell peppers. Finally it is garnished with spring onions.
3)HONG KONG SPAGHETTI : Spaghetti cooked with veggies like bell peppers and broccoli. Parmesan cheese is used for garnishing.
4)COTTAGE CHEESE SIZZLER : This is a highly recommended dish from my side. Cottage cheese layers are deep fried before serving them with fried veggies and rice. The cottage cheese layers are fully covered in cheese sauce and a small bowl of cheese sauce is also served with this dish. The taste is delectable. Soft cottage cheese with cheese sauce is all you need to satisfy your tummy.
5)POCKETED CHILLI POTATO WITH MEXICAN RICE : This is a speciality dish from this place. A wholesome platter of Mexican Rice served with Chilli Potato (Much like the Bengali Aloo Dom). The spiciness is perfect and goes perfect with the Rice.
6)CHEESE BREAD : Again a recommended dish. The bread is fully coated with a thick layer of cheese (Have a look at the snaps for better understanding). The cheese melts in your mouth.
Overall this is a good place to indulge in Veg Delicacies. Non-veg lovers also should give it a try since all the veg dishes prepared by them are very delicious. Plating is also very beautiful.
P.S. This is the only place in Kolkata serving Tandoori Chaai.
Cafe is very nice Shisha is good but they need to improve their hospitality staff service is very poor Nd very late ... they don’t listen to us for one thing v need to call them 5-6 times Nd they need to do crowd filter
This cafe is very near to Rabindra Sadan metro. They make arrangements for bday parties at very cheap rates. Hookah here doesn't choke. Ambience is good. Music is also good. Garlic breads available here are my favorites 🤤

I had gone for almost 4 times here,as if this cafe is situated just in front of the Rabindrasadan Metro Gate No. 4, its really very much easy to access..We had ordered chilli garlic noodles, cheese corn balls, garlic cheese bread, mango and blu lagoon frappe, crunchy shake for several times..they are good in taste, the cheese corn ball is theirs best card in hand, the noodle is tasty yet spicy..last but not the least, they had provided a classic quality hookah to you and the ambience is really very usefull to smoke hookah.I had deducted 1 marks for their service, cause the place is yet not a big area but still they had taken a lots of time to serve in past..but really a good place to make some rings of HOOKAH..THUMBS UP
It is very good place for enjoying with friends...
