Good food... Don't try the North Indian dishes, these people are definitely more comfortable with South Indian fare. Prices have increased since I first went there with my father... Now I'm taking my son, but the tastes are nearly the same. Big portions... And no quibble with second helpings.
Great inexpensive clean rooms with room service facility. Clean eating place with great healthy food. Thank you for your cordial environment. The hotel manager and staff were very polite and inclined to their customer service duty.

Good place for pure veg food in Esplanade area. Their South Indian thali and other items are best. You can also taste North Indian thali. All are economical. Thali meals cost Rs. 120-130. Better take sealed bottled water. Lassi is also a good alternative. People are polite and helpful. Only problem

One of the best restaurants near Chowringhee Road, Esplanade, Kolkata. Located in the busy market area. They serve good South Indian food. The restaurant is nicely maintained and the staff are very cooperative.
It is totally vegetarian restaurant. Many type of dosa idli South Indian thali North Indian thali is available here. Different type of dish dish are costly for people.Krishna Vilas special dosa is attractive for people. It is on splanet area and open 6 days.

Great food. We loved the sada and onion dosas. Met with the owners and they were very nice and hospitable too. Great value for money and a wonderful experience.
