Located in Lord's More this sweet shop has some tasty snacks item along with sweets that it is famous for.
My personal favorite is Paneer chop/cutlet along with Radhaballavi.
Baked Rasogolla is really very tasty here along with it's kesar kulfi sandesh.
Wonderful sweet shop. Must try- kulfi, ice cream sondesh, lyangcha, and of late the chocolate sondesh. But the award winning sondesh can be improved. Never have I been disappointed ever.
Awesome food, specially kulfi, ice cream sandesh. This has been one of my regular go - to sweet shop. Always great experience. Chocolate sandesh can be improved, though it is quite good.
It's exactly situated in lords more. It's variety of sweet amazed me. We tried baked rasgulla and the kesar kulfie which are the speciality of Kalpana. Baked rasgulla was really good, it's melted in mouth , heavenly taste. Kulfie is flavoured with kesar and badam.
This sweets shop is located at the Lords More and has been there since my childhood. They serve authentic bengali sweets like kalakand, rabri, rosomalai, chitrakut, jalebi, pantua, rosogolla, kachagolla etc. I have tried their Radhaballobi, Rabri and different other sweets. They also sell paneer which are very soft and tasty.
They are also kind to give change of Rs 500 for a rather small bill amount of Rs 50.
Food quality is great. They have maintained the authenticity of Bengali sweets.
Great taste in reasonable price.
My personal favourites are :
Chandana khir
Makha sandesh
Baked rosogulla
Ice-cream Sandesh
Kulfi
Chocolate Sandesh.
One must try these items.
The best part is, they treat their customers with such a grace and respect that differentiate them from all other sweet shops in the area.

I have been to this place for many years. This place is just at the Lords More, prince anwar shah road, no problem to find it at all. This sweet shop stands here for so many years and maintained if not improved its quality day by day. I am a regular visitor of this shop and this is one of my favourite sweet shops in Kolkata. Their Kulfi is the best, if you have not yet tried... You need to try it. The baked sondesh is another item I would recommend. Their Ice cream Sondesh is the best in town, I swear. Apart from the sweets their dahi vada, singara are good too. I had their chocolate sondesh too, which is indeed praiseworthy. No doubt, this is my go to sweet shop and I cannot come back without having ice cream sondesh and kulfi from there. I have also packed sweets and carried them in check in luggage in flight. They packed it so well, there was no spill, no damages. I can't emphasis more on their efficient service and improving quality.
Had stopped by at Kalpana Misthan Bhandar on lords mod after being recommended by a local. It is one of the oldest mithai ki dukan know for its freshness. Being a Rasagolla & Langcha lover how could I have missed out on that.
The delicacies were value for money.
This is one of the popular sweet shops in south Kolkata. This is famous for its Ice cream sandesh. Be sure to try this item. There are other items like Rosogolla, gulab jamun, amriti, jilipi, etc.
They are not only famous by name but really by their sweets. Quality sweets of different kinds can be bought here at an affordable price.
Recommend: Kalakand and Gulab jamun
Premium sweets available for a reasonable price. And also service is fast and staff behaviour is very polite
If you have a sweet tooth you should visit here sometime, specially in the winter season.
My favorites are Baked Mihidana, Nalengurer Makha Sandesh. You should try those sometimes.
We ordered totto sweets from here - it was good.

It's a good place to go to for Bengali sweets. They have a lot of options as well. It's pocket friendly. Staff is courteous. Sweets and snacks are all fresh. They accept card payments. They have a specia air tightl packaging system for sweets you wish to carry on a flight.
This shop is relatively less popular to some of the more reputed names. However the sweets are of good taste quality and fresh. Snacks particularly, samossa, veg chops are nice. Aloo bhonda is tasteless. Prices are very reasonable. The shop accepts credit cards. However if you plan to make bulk purchase you will have to order one day in advance. The best time to take delivery for bulk orders is after 2.30 in the afternoon as you will get stuff absolutely fresh
They provide good quality sweets but If you buy sweets containing kheer , you have to be awar of the quality. I love this store but a little bit disappointed with the quality of some sweets like rasmalai, Chhanar payes, malpoa stuffed with kheer. All are a little bit rotten. I'll suggest the owner to install AC in the store to prevent the sweets from being rotten.
I have been a customer of this sweet shop for more than last sixty years. In old days the shop was nothing but a shanty, under the proprietorship of late Bhondul Chandra Das, the father of the present owners.
The shop, during the last few decades, kept on enlarging the business, and added newer varieties of sweets and snacks. In the meanwhile, they shifted to a much bigger premises, which has now become an iconic landmark in Lake Gardens area.
It would be unfair to label New Kalpana Mistanna Bhandar as just another local sweetmeat shop. The quality of their products, day in and day out, year after year, is par excellence, and would shame even similar branded sweetmeat franchisees nearabout. My opinion is subjective as taste is naturally a personal opinion, but the excellent quality (and taste) is probably one of the best in a 10km radius. Try them out.
Its a fantastic sweet shop with lip smacking sweets. I especially love the butterscotch sandesh here. The rosh er mishti are quite good too. However i feel that the syrup is too much sweet. The shop is located at a prime location at Lords more which is a plus point.
