It's an old and greatest Bengali cuisine local restaurant at Lords More, near South City Mall... If you are going towards Golf Green for 30sec walking from Lords More..then it will be at your right hand side.. Food Quality is just great..It looks the same as home made food as well as home made taste.. They have several types of fish preparations on their menu..from aloo posto ,sukto to lal saak vaja they have each and everything .like mutton chicken egg.. They provide everything at pocket friendly and reasonable prices. The hotel provides their service from 11to11.

If you’re looking for authentic Bengali food at a reasonable price then this is the place. I was regular to this place from 2012-2019 and always enjoyed the food. The place is not that big so you might have to wait for few minutes during rush hours. They changes their menu on everyday basis. Fish items are highly recommended.

The best thing about this place is there's no fixed menu. They shop twice daily and accordingly serve you freshest possible Bengali delicacies , loads of innovation and the cook is a jem. If you plan to pay a visit, don't before 8 In the evening and 2 in the afternoon. They finish cooking by then and serve hot steaming food. Price points are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Very good pice hotel, offering contemporary dishes and typical Bengali cuisines too. Average price and value for money foods. Kebabs are juicy, succulent and tasty. There's no place for car park.

For a pure Bengali cuisine, simple yet economical this is the place. Sometimes we do get tired over eating at the fancy restaurants ; this looks more like a canteen but food quality is very good and pricing is accordingly not to make you think twice . Must try. Leaving aside the decor this place gives what it promises

A little too costly for the ambience. The foods are tasty. The restaurant is right by the road. You get authentic taste of Bengali food. Didn't like the ambience though. No parking place available for this restaurant. The non veg dishes are the main attraction here.

We know this place since its inception... probably from 1990 or may be even earlier.way back it was a meager dal rice hotel catering to the lower middle class.from that stage to now,it's been a long way. The most important aspect of the food here is that it is fresh.you can immediately figure it out the moment you give the first bite.be it the curry or the tandoori bhetki. Wide range of platters to choose from. Cordial staff and quick services.i agree, that at times due to overcrowding things might get messed up,but thats once in a blue moon.even I have faced this situation a number of times, but the food will easily wipe out those bad experiences. Yes.....the price is on a higher range.but comparing the quality , quantity and taste ,I am ready to shell out a bit more. However, the hygiene is one aspect they should look into. Recently, strathey have started a kebab counter.i must say, that the taste is way way better than any of the restaurants in the vicinity.try their chicken tikka masala and the baked pomfret.

It's one of my favorite place for some mouth watering and lip smacking bengali food. Clean environment with varieties to choose from. If you're nearby please drop into this amazing Bengali Cuisine restaurant and get you fingers dipped into awesome "bangali khabar".

Love the place. Regular here. Where can you have Pomfret Masala, exotic Bengali cuisine so cheap? At night Rotis with paneer items makes the perfect end of the day. Run by two brothers who decide on the menu for the day as they shop for ingredients and Loo you get to devour into some exotic dishes at times with crossover Masala. Always busy you will not get personal attention If you look for but fresh food. Downside is cleanliness but I have never had an upset stomach eating here. I simply love this place also because in a given table you will find both the white and blue collar guys engaged in most basic labor of human survival blissfully unaware of the class divide.
