Very good place to have evening snacks
Am not much of a chaat lover, but nevertheless ordered a Batata puri from this place, based nearby the Saltlake swimming pool – a decision I praised after having enjoyed the meal!
The batata was still crispy when delivered – which is generally unlikely – but this place was an exception! Food packing was excellent – to ensure no spillage, and also, the presentation remained eye soothing!
Stuff was pretty tasty – a decent balance of the chutneys – some chiniya badam would have definitely enhanced the taste, otherwise also, very tasty!
Prices are very reasonable – overall, an excellent experience!
Thanks team!
This place is a must for all the chat pata lovers. Starting from their chaat to puri they all are fantastic! A must for your sudden snack cravings!
I had been there for many times. Every time I enjoyed the food a lot. I liked the puchaks, papdi chaat, bhel Puri and batata Puri very much.
I ordered batata Puri.It was very tasty. It had that sweet, sour and little bit chilli taste. The food packaging was really good.Quality of food was good. Loved it.
Looking forward to try other chats.

They serve various chaats from papri chat to Raj kachuri , you will get everything at one place.
We tried Raj kachuri and it was amazing , just the way I like chaats to be. Ekdam chatpata.

❤️
Have been going to this place for ages now. Their mouthwatering array of street food is unbeatable.
My favourites are the churmur, alu chaat, shikanji and papri chaat.
I always make it a point to visit this place at least once whenever I am in Calcutta.
This place is absolute bliss for all the street food lovers..and even if you aren't one, you're surely to fall in love nevertheless, after tasting their food! I have tasted their jhal muri, the lip smacking puchka, the pav bhaji and the spicy and superb papri chaat..super like for all the food!!
This kiosk is one of the kiosk at swimming pool area. It's a hub for street food lovers. This place I am going for ages. Love the Bhel Puri and papri chat here. The thing that makes the difference is they make meetha chutney with khajoor instead of imli. Also they dnt add colour to it.
I tried Bhel Puri this time. It's excellent. A not to miss here.
This place is located at Salt Lake Swimming pool area and I like gorging on its Bhel Muri and Papri Chat! The best part is that you can order for a delivery too!
A roadside outlet at Salt lake Swimming pool area is a treasure for chaat lovers like me.
Love their dahi fuchka, bhelpuri, paprichaat, dhoklas and samosa chaats . Tasty and mouth watering taste of chaats makes my evening a hit in a less expensive way.
Service is fast and hygienic . Ambience is pretty crowded.
It's 'The Place' for Chaat Lovers..!! Located near Salt Lake Swimming Pool, Chaat Park is a great place to visit in the evening to try their mouthwatering junkies!! A wide variety of street food like Puchka, Papdi Chaat, Bhel, Momos, Pav Bhaaji, Gola, Sikanji etc will sure excite your taste buds. Great place to chill when you're in for some tasty junk food...!! Sure deserves a 5..!! :)
PS: The best Papdi Chaat I find in town!
The famous chaat place in swimming pool salt Lake, being walking distance from my place in salt Lake, I happen to visit this place often. It's always crowded and they share common seats with other kiosks,so be prepared to stand and ear. Their samosa chaat and bhel puri are nice, puchkas are decent too. Quick service and pretty hygienic :)

Although am not a huge fan of chaats, but I keep coming to this place mostly for their Phuchkas and Samosas. Swimming Pool as such was considered to be the Park Street of Salt Lake, and this place still upholds the tradition. Flocked by youngsters, with some being couples, and the rest being enthusiastic foodies, this is one place which always sees people walking in due to the quality of the food they serve.
The Samosas are tasty and equally good are the Phuchkas. You could also try their Samosa Chaats and Dhokla as well. Tea is again something these guys are very good at. All in all, an affordable place to drop by in case you want to keep your evening snacks light and less expensive.
I have been to this place many times- papri chat and bhel Puri is worth trying - chat hut has kept the bhel Puri very simple that is what I like - chutney is good the couthet is neat and clean
Chat hut has been a part of Salt Lake for many years now. Located beside the swimming pool it is frequented by foodies who are accustomed to this locality. I remember eating their samosas and samosa chats in the evening when we friends used to have adda sessions on the stairs. Also remember hogging their pao bhaji couple of times during college days.
Had been there many time but yesterday had an awesome time with my friends after a long time. The papri chaat & kulfi was good but the alu tikka chaat had no alu in it. If they used more space of that place would made it a better place to hangout. What it may be it a very good place to eat at a very little budget.
All should try this place for having your evening snacks.
Located near Swiming pool a perfect place to have chat .This place is popular among people in salt lake .It is visited by youngster and family to have a quick chat . They serve different varieties of chat , vada pav and tea.

This place is located next to bidhannagar swimming pool entrance and is a favourite after swim hangout zone for the swimmers. The place has a few chairs lying on front and sells great samosas, each at rupees ten, and considerably huge! They also sell papri chaat, phuchka and dhokla, all of which taste good. The place is popular among the swimming crowd , and the samosas remain a personal favourite, served with a choice of two chatnis , one dhania , and the other sweet .
More than 70 years old, simple stall with limited items in the menu. I tried the singhara chat. Crushed singhara with matar, with a good savoury kick and an assortment of masalas and chutney. Reminded me a little of Bangalore's masal Puri. Hot, fresh, good! They have half and full plate options so you can choose your portion size. Prices are slightly on the higher side, but that's because Kolkata spoils you with super reasonably mishti otherwise ;)
Location-
At the junction of hedua more . You can take towards hedua from anywhere and the place is easily accessable.
They specialize in all kinds of chaats.
Pros-
Food is delicious
Polite guy and fast service
Ample amount of chaats is given
Price is very cheap
Cons -
Not so hygenic
Sitting option is less

Flavourful mouth watering chats served here in a pocket friendly budget. It's best for instant cravings while exploring with friends.
Super delicious food. But I prefer singara chat and doi puchka over any other items.
Tried singara chat and tikiya chat. Both tastes good and recommended as well. Half plate for both are 35 rupees each
The phucka at hedua is a must try. Nearby is Nakur sweet shop
Whenever I'm in hedua or shymbazar area I do definitely try the chats from here .. really he do a great job .. great portions , quality and quantity is really good .. too much chatpata things in one plate just .. I loved Thier khasta kochuri .. so we had dahi khasta kochuri chat and singara chat and their sweet tamarind chutney is just wow , I'm dying for that .. 😋❤️
One of my fav chat..
Taste was awesome as always
Love this Place, My most Favourite is Alu-Dum Chaat, Samosa chaat is also very very Yummy 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
I loved this place from my college days. Samosa Chaat, Tikki Chaat, Papri Chaat
For the street food lovers like papri chat, alu chat etc. This is a must try. Try the dahi fuchka, they have an amazing combination of masala which tastes unique. Located just opposite to Hedua Park, if u want a desert finisher just head to Nakur sweets which is just 30 meters from this palace. Don't forget to enjoy the old north calcutta vibe here, preferred timing would be evening to beat the heat as they don't have any shade as such. Can't expect parking while availing street food but ample space for two wheeler. For four wheelers u can park at the near by places, not faced much of an issue.
This place is 80 years old.
We visited in the month of August 2022.
Good place to have chaat in Kolkata.
Must try Singhada chaat and Tikkiya chaat here.
Singhada is basically Samosa.
There are so many chaat places in Kolkata but what makes everyone different is their own spices.
It's a roadside chaat centre.
The prices are reasonable.
Also Kaka is really nice person.
We tried ghugni and samosa chat, taste wise good. A small chat vendor you can find just beside bethun church, at the junction of bidhan sarani and Ramdulal st.
Hedua chat centre is an infamous chat joint located at Hedua near the Bethune college. Their alur Dom chat and gughni chat probably are the mostly sold dishes. Both of these taste awesome undoubtedly.
Yummy chats, one of the best childhood memories revisited...if Hygiene is your priority, you can skip, otherwise a great street food option.
Variety of chaats available dont worry about the taste they take care of it

His name is DINESH and about him he was earlier trainer in navy and used to train personnel in swimming awesomely talented guy but due to some family problems he had to come back into his family business and had to rejoin his Chat Business his father is selling chat for more over 2 decades and he delivers online also probably through SWIGGY OR ZOMATO.
