We ordered prawn fried rice which was very tasty. Chicken Sui is ok. Garlic pepper chicken was nicely prepared and we liked it very much. Chicken Malaysian noodles was great.
The place is little busy and crowded. The staffs are very cooperative. The atmosphere was very nice. We liked the interior decor.
Very nice experience! The food, the ambience and the service is top notch. Adequate amount of food in a reasonable price. A must visit place
This place is known for its legacy in Kolkata. I have nothing more to add to it. One mention about the quantity of food. 1serving is more than sufficient for 3 people. So order mindfully.
I think if you are trying first time or you prefer more Indian food..then don't try ...this..chicken and mushroom main course item...
Otherwise...fried rice , honey chicken (starter) , tandoori chickn all are good...
But it was a very costly restaurant for me...
According to me this is the best restaurant in Park Street Area, where you can get 5 star restaurant like ambience, services in affordable price. I loved the ambience, customer service and mainly the food quality...Its top notch. Perfect place for couples, friends, meet-ups and also its family friendly. They also provide booking for private parties like office parties, birthday parties, Anniversary celebration etc.
Now coming to the food: We've ordered Fried Prawn Balls, Mixed Fried Rice with Pork, Mixed Hakka Noodles With Pork, Chilli Garlic Pepper Chicken. We loved those all.
Bar-B-Q is one of the best places in Park Street area to try Chinese cuisine (though they serve some mughlai items too).
The old Calcuttan vibe is perfect to spend a quality time and have some booze as well. The food takes a little time to arrive, but it's okay considering the number of sitting capacity they have. Staffs are friendly, food items are very much affordable considering other food joints around the place.
Tried many items here, most of thems were delicious and quantity is huge. Only I found the chicken pieces in Kung Pao chicken was pretty soggy and the mocktails were not upto the mark.
Overall it is one of my favourite places in Park Street to hangout with.
My all time favorite restaurant in kolkata. I would strongly recommend for this restaurant. I must say that one plate is enough for three persons, they give as much quantity.
Some eateries need no introduction...so is this place...located very near to Trincas, this place can accomodate a lot of people together without hampering the service.Nice crowd and so is the food. Their portions are so good that its more than enough for two in a dish. And such good taste!!! Dont forget to try their choco fudge, it stole the show!!! A lovely place for foodies....
Outstanding place for dinner or lunch with friends or families. Great food quality and good service also from the staffs. Recommended for everyone!
Go to place if nothing is coming in mind. They serve one of the best Chinese in kolkata. I usually end up going to this place for a quick grab post office. Last week I was there. Started with sweet corn chicken soup, followed by main course - chicken halka noodles and chicken with cashews & mushroom. The quantity which is provided in a single plate is enough for 3 people. I always like going here and relish on Chinese food.
Bar-B-Q is one of the popular restaurants in Park street where you can enjoy with your family, friends or colleagues. It is quite spacious and serves both North Indian and Chinese cuisine. Yesterday we had Chicken dumplings in red curry and chicken Sui mai for starters. The red curry was delicious and Sui mai tasted so good that we ordered once again. In main course we had Chicken fried rice and Chicken with mushrooms and veggies. The side dish had a mild taste and wasn't spicy at all. For desserts we had the hot fudge and tutti fruity. Service however needs to improve. Seemed they have staff shortage and finding out a waiter to order food didn't seem to be a smooth process.
amazing experience in such a rush. also the restaurant it so big we had to run through so many hallways to get a seat. but dim sum was too good chewy and juicy. loved the Malaysian noodles and garlic chicken alotttttt. our server was very nice and helpful kudos to him wish I knew his name. also ambience is like a old style dark academia it does gives the feels. lovd everything about it.
THE INVENTORS OF RICE NOODLES in Kolkata. This is yet another iconic restaurants in Kolkata with a long history. Food preparation and there chefs can’t go wrong at any given day. I have been visiting this place over years and have several happy memories. Place needs no introduction to anyone in Kolkata. Although none of there Chinese dishes uses Bhetki fish and only Basa but the way it is being prepared you will not miss Bhetki. Mixed rice noodle and fish with mushroom white sauce is quite a dinner and a must try . However the only drawback of the place is there staff mostly in black blazer has there strange attitude while allocating place to guest. Although I know it is a tough job with so much rush but I would love to see a smile at their face and be polite. All the hard work of the chef goes is vain if inspite of tasty food the staff don’t get well trained. Everyone single time I visit this place it’s like a big thing to sit on a table. Seems like not only me most of the quests are stressed out as where they will be told to sit by the “men in black” 😊. So if you are visiting this place best option is go for a parcel or pickup trust me saves time and you get to enjoy the best of the food. Changes the whole experience. Fees tables are very closely seated and you get to know lot of others life when you are there.
best chinese restaurant . tasty foods.always recommendable. we love to visit here ! everytime they makes fresh foods . the golden fried prawn is soo tasty !
Bar-b-q resturant park Street famous for its Chinese cuisine.
We visited this place with my family and friends during weekends, some time back.
The ambience was surreal, calm and relaxing.
Coming to starters we ordered golden prawn, fish finger and dry chilly chicken.
Prawn was fresh and cooked to perfection but the batter coating was little thick than expected.
Fish finger was also very tasty with thin crunchy crust. Clear soup also tasted good as expected.
Coming to the main course we ordered rice noodles, fried rice with chilly chicken. All the items tasted awesome with right amount of spices. No compromise on quality or quantity.
In dessert we order brownie with vanilla ice-cream but it turned out to be a bummer and average!
Overall the experience was good and would surely recommend others to visit this place if you are a Chinese lover.
It's a classic restaurant located in Park Street. The food is great. My personal favourite is the Crispy Chilli Baby Corn and Pan-fried Noodles. The ambience is great. It gives off an old-school vibe. There's usually a rush in the evening.
