situated near fancy market, one of the business hub place in kolkata. you may not like the ambiance but you will love the foods served over here. you must try the rolls from this restaurant it is bestest and it is famous its rolls... kebabs were very tender the quantity of foods is also appropriate. chicken bharta was very delicious.

Their crispy chilli babycorn has the most delicious taste I have tasted it is very reasonable and very tasty personally I prefer this restaurant.
Very good place to have lunch or dinner.I had gone to this place and I loved the food provided by the restaurant .The surroundings is also very nice.
The warmness and familiarity of this place is the best for me. My favourite since childhood. Mughal dishes are all that you need to get from here (Chinese is amazing too). Not very luxurious, nevertheless , very welcoming. Service is good and so is the food. I want this place to flourish forever.

As I'm a crazy Chinese fan therefore I visited this place to try out their chinese cuisines. Food was a good but not something to die for. I had a plate of Mixed Fried Rice accompanied with a plate of Chilli Chicken. A plate of Chilli Chicken had 8 pieces which was ok but somehow I didn't like the gravy. Even I found the quantity of rice to be less. The price is moderate. Would go back once again to try out their Indian cuisines.
This place is close to my college. During my college days I used to visit the place for small hangout. This place genuinely support your pocket. The best dish of this place is reshmi kebab and chicken roll. The cherry on the top is no added tax. 😊

Ambience is ok with sitting arrangements.
Staffs were cooperative and service was fast.
Ordered Butter naan , chicken reshmi butter masala and malai Kofta. Butter naan was soft and well made. Chicken item was tasty and well cooked. Malai Kofta was very delicious and soft.
Pocket pinch is reasonable.
Overall a satisfactory experience.
Meridian Inn is located close to Khideerpore more. It is a small joint with roll counter outside and dining Air conditioned area inside.
The place is not very spacious. Presentation not so bad .Simple restaurant. Good customer service and absolutely value for money .This restaurant doesn't have home delivery option. Lots of option available from the menu in affordable price ! But lots of area they should consider to cope with from consumer point of view these days.

Salute to their humanity as they saved us from hunger. We were starving ! The ambience is nice and well-decorated. One should give this place a try.

We went there unplanned during the durga puja time. Location is great easy to locate. But the food was pretty average. May be due to the rush of puja. Biriyani was ok. Chicken chap was average. The chicken was not boiled properly. Carpet area is not that big. But it is very much pocket friendly.
Reshmi kebab is just awesome. Actually all the kebabs are nice, but they don't offer everything from the menu. They serve best kulchas in this area. Best thing is that they don't take any taxes. It deserves a 4 star depending on the price of the dishes. Even the Chinese is nice here.
Real value for money...this place is near my college and i often visit there to hang out with frnds as it fits easily on our budget....if u have less budget but u also want to have some good food then u should give it a visit..nd d cherry on top is that there is no added tax..
The sitting arrangements are not that clean and airy but the food is good. It is close to my daughter's school and I often carry back home the chicken or mutton biryani which they serve. Apart from being a bit too oily, the taste is not bad coz after all its "The BIRYANI".
i visit this place mainly for chicken rolls. biriyani and other items are ok. rolls are really good. very crisp and well fried. one can literally see layers in their paratha. mutton tikka is nice and worth ordering.

Used to be a regular back in my college days. They have a roll counter outside and an AC dining space inside. Their paratha and rolls are fried in dalda and looks bright red, and obviously very tasty. Their kebabs, tandoori and biriyani are good considering price. Mainly locals and college goers come to this resturant so ambience is rowdy. Service may be slow at times. If your in for good quality rolls and kebabs then do visit this place.
Good mughlai food. Very cheap. Ambience is fine. Not a place where you would expect fine dining experience, rather a place to go with friends or family just to have comfort food. The restaurant is small but staff is good. Take aways could take time.
The resturant closest to my clg. We go in large numbers quite often. Its a descent resturant to hang out with. But their service is too slow n they take a long long time to serve(may be bcz we go in large numbers)

I tend to give my ratings based on diff categories. See Meridian inn is not a fancy place to start with. Yet they re the one and only decent eating joint in Khidderpore where u can sit peacefully with your family, away from noise and congestion and eat good food. When I rate them 4.0 I rate them that among budget hotels like India hotel and the likes and not a Taj Bengal 4.0! Now I ll tell u that meridian's many dishes score more than India hotel taste wise, in my opinion. India hotel is a crowded, no privacy place where waitors don't bother if u ve been waiting at the table for half an hour. Here they re quicker...there s a lil privacy, friendly waitors(there s just two of them BTW!) And good food. Quality is laudable compared to starved chicken from India hotel or even Arsalan at rush hours!! Tandoori chicken, like I be said before - take aadha kacha! Mutton is soft and well cooked here sparing some jaw pain! Check out the Chinese stuff here too...I like their american chopsuey...with veg gravy.
Doesn't pinch the pocket too much. P.S. theyre much smaller than India hotel so if u go with ten fifteen ppl, u ll hafta wait n fit snug here. Good for a big family or even seven!
Khiderpore being mainly dwelt by muslim community, there is no scarcity of gud biriyani serving resturants.
Yet meridian has always delighted me with its biriyani.
Located just below d flyover,in khiderpore more.it is not dat sophisticated bt its clean and tidy.
Though i hv alwys enjoyed their take-aways only.
The biriyani is always cooked perfectly.with no strong smell,no after taste of "dalda"(which is a major drawback in most places.)it is light yet very tasty,with tender meat and potato.
All other items dat i have ever tasted starting from chiken roll,paneer roll to fish fry,chiken tandoori,kababs...nothing has given me a chance to complain.
And no VAT extra is charged here-dis is an added advantage over the good food :????

I must say.. this is one of d lifeline to d residents of kidderpore as they do not get too many options to choose frm.. All d indian dishes r excellnt.. Mixed fried rice is one of the best preparation they make.. Same goes for chilli chicken... bt the hakka chowmein is a bit disappointng ... Definitely pocket friendly...
Best value for money if your looking at Indian n mughlai, biryani has more calories than 2lits of coke, Chinese here nt recommended, stick to Indian and u will come back for more.

Here all kind of foods are available like mughlai, chinese, north Indian etc. Provides good foods at reasonable price. The services are quite slow bt it can be tolerable. Recently me and my classmates visited this place for College Pass out success party. The restaurant crews help us to seat together because if you visit this place you can see 4 seaters dinning table available but we were 11 peoples that time.

It's undoubtedly a good place for lunch and dinner. One can also have a quick bite on delicious snack items. Quiet ambience, although sometimes thronged. Serving time 20 to 30 minutes depending on the order type and size. Moderately priced, varied menu are available. Food tastes quite good, particularly Chinese dishes. Electronic mode of payment is also accepted. Also home delivery can be ordered.

Today I visited to this restaurant after almost 8-10 years. It is very reasonably priced, the ambience is good, service is very good. We had Mixed fried rice with chilli fish. Absolutely delicious chinese. Whenever I am in Khidirpur I will have my food here.
Although seating area is small, the quality and quantity is very reasonable as well as the pricing. One of the best places to have your rolls in Kolkata I can vouch for it. Do try their rolls which will soon be famous and even the other food items in the restaurant menu is delicious.
