After almost 6 months, this was my first visit to a coffee shop. Ambiance is very nice. Hygiene and sanitisation is maintained.. food quality was good. We ordered cappuccino, cold coffee and a basket of fries.. overall it was a great experience.. will definitely visit this place again..

One of the best coffee places. The have kept the exact aroma and feeling of the divrsed coffee options that they have kept. The sitting arrangement is perfect. The stuff are very friendly and nice. One can spend an entire evening having deep conversations or having a fun time with friends. Even the food is also good and satiable. The sandwich and the pasta in the white sauce are just delicious!
A perfect coffee shop setting. I can spend hours here just grabbing a bite and having a serious conversation with a company. There’s enough option to choose from. I prefer to keep it simple when all I want to do is to enjoy someone’s company with a good cup of coffee. It a nice cafe just before gariahat..from Golpark ,it will be in your left side 3rd lane .. near fab india.. The cafe area is not huge but well organised..they have a outdoor seating capacity..the ambience is pretty good..we ordered Italian Chicken Penne Pasta (mixed sauce) and Iced Coffee.. the quantity and the quality of the pasta was too good..it had full of chicken in it and heavenly tasty.. the iced coffee was good enough..if you are a coffee lover then this place must be in your list and you can have a variety of coffee here.. there service is well ..a must visit place 😌
A Fantastic Cafe in Hindustan Park. We went on Holi and the cafe guys were kind enough to seat us, even when we coloured pretty well.
We ordered the Corn Cheese Sandwich. It was really delicious. The egg Hakka Noodles was good. A bit salty but the noodles was light.
My favourite was the Cheese Chicken Keema Omlette. Fantastic taste. The egg was thin like a crepe and the spicy chicken tasted good. I would definitely recommend trying this. By the way the ambience is really nice.

There are a lot of cafes in this area, but this one is pretty cosy. The reason I like this place is because they offer a good variety of international coffee. Apart from that, they have a few selections for breakfast, specially, the egg and corn cheese sandwich and masala omlette were very good. Service is a bit slow, but the staff are friendly, so no complaints for that. Will definitely go back there.

🔴Green Apple Iced Tea(3/5) :- Well, I am very much particular about my green apple iced tea. This tasted good not great. It was a bit too sour. Ice consisted 70% of the glass which should not be the case.
The cafe needs improvement in some fronts. The management should look into it. The staff was amiable and well-behaved. I will be back for more.

Yesterday I had visited this cafe.. I just wanted to take my parents to give them an experience of the cafes of our era. I myself have visited few cafes of Kolkata before also. This cafe has an elegant look and very comfortable for families as well as for groups of friends. We have ordered cappuccino and English mayo with chicken sandwiches. Both had very good tastes... Specially the sandwiches were awesome... my parents also loved it. One thing I have to mention about their food... that is quantity... I am foodie type.. and I am telling you the quantity is sufficient and prices of the dishes are really perfect for its quality and quantity. And one more thing... this cafe closes down at 10 p.m. We reached there by 9:30... but the staffs are so courteous that they were not at all shown any grief on their body language but welcomed us as we were entering. They very humbly informed us that their cafe will be closed on 10 at the time of taking order.. and they didn't disturb us in this issue... In fact, we were leaving the cafe more or less by 10 and they greeted us again again by telling bye and "Please visit here again".. I have given .5 rating extra for their courtesy and mannerism.
This is a nice place in terms of ambience, staff behavior, mood etc. A decent cafe with regular decor. I always chose to sit upstairs and it is a comfortable space for me. Coming to food, I had the following:
⏺️Cheese and corn sandwich: sufficient amount of cheese in this veg sandwich and that is all that I care about.
⏺️English mayo and chicken sandwich: I really liked this much a lot. One of my favorites here.
⏺️Dark fantasy with choco - average.
⏺️ Oreo fantasy: tasted nice.
⏺️ Hot chocolate: I have had better in other places. Won't recommend this.
⏺️cold coffee: decent in taste.

Coffee & Mood is located right next to Fabindia. A small cafe in the bylanes of Hindustan Park, they offer a range of international coffees and domestic tea varieties. Eatables include nick nacks like momos, sandwiches et all. Ambience wise it falls behind your regular CCD or Barista. The interiors need some sprucing and the lighting needs to be brighter. I like their Irish Capuchhino and the Brazilian coffee variety. Price points are decent and you can stop over for your evening coffee on some days and be relatively happy about it.

The place is ideal for a long chat with friends. The decor is beautifully done. The drinks and food we ordered all were very good. Also the chocolate pastry is awesome.
Probably the only place in Kolkata that you can sample African coffee. Quiet enough to work or read with your coffee and the staff doesn’t hover around to distract you. The chairs are comfortable for a long sit down.

This place is the ideal one for a long chat with friends. Went there with my friend. The location is quite confusing. There's sitting arrangement made both inside ac and outside in the balcony sort of place.We ordered cold coffee with cream and dark fantasy Choco. Along with that we took masala french fries.
It took around 15 minutes for the order to arrive. The cold coffee with cream tasted great according to my friend and for the dark fantasy, as sinful as it looked, it lived upto my expectations. A chocolate shake topped with brownie and vanilla ice cream. Absolute bliss. The French fries tasted average.
The staff need to be a bit more swift and active.

Situated beside FabIndia, Hindustan park. Ambience was good with lovely, neat decoration. As we were not hungry, visited this place to converse over a cup of tea, we orederd masala tea, lemon iced tea and chilli cheese toast. Beverages were good. Toast had ample amount of cheese but I personally prefer some more chilli. The amount we paid was Rs386 including tax which is a bit on the higher side. The crowd was not much and quite descent. Service was good.

Loved their Idea of two small outdoor tables just on the entrance. Further inside they have a nice seating area and even another seating upstairs. All this places were equally beautiful.. straight coming to food, we liked it.
It was EGG & CHEESE SANDWICH, BROWNIE, ETHIOPIAN & BRAZILIAN CAPPUCCINO on our table. Sandwich was well stuffed , tasty . Both cappuccino almost tasted same yet BRAZILIAN was a little light to compare. Brownie was a bit dry, some more chocolate sauce would have been perfect to my taste. Though with the minimum pocket pinch everything was pretty nice. 😊

coffee-n-mood is one of the many cafes in this ever awesome great locale of southern avenue. They sure have plenty on offer apart from only Coffee. We had opted to go for cappuccino & chocolate brownie, both were good. Only downside is the pocket pinch which is on the higher side. Choose to sit outdoor in the evening which gives you a great view of the quiet road in front of the cafe.

We ordered Irish coffee(good), hot chocolate with cream(not bad), Chicken momo(dint like much) and chicken masala noodles(not noodles but maggi in a creamy sauce with shredded chicken, this was very good). Went to have a long awaited conversation with my friend Dipan Chakraborty . Found this place just beside the Gariahat FabIndia. The seating arrangement was comfortable, comprising of sofas & chairs. There was no music which we appreciated as conversing would be easy. We scanned the menu & initially ordered Nachos but they weren't available (just at 4pm). So we went for the heavy thing - Chicken Penne Pasta in White Sauce, a Brazilian Cuppachino & Ethiopian Latte. The Pasta quantity was okay & I was satisfied with the coffee too. A good place with good ambiance.

The ambience is good and you can get a outside table if required. As it was a smoke free Zone inside I proffered to take a seat outside. The south Africa Honey Tea was wonderful and quite refreshing. Sweet corn soup followed with American mayo and chicken Salsa Sandwich was good. The positive part is you can spent a good time because of the not so crowd area. But remember sometimes cars honk for parking which might irritate you if you are sitting outside.... Overall the experience was good.

Visited this cute café today. Extremely pleased with this place and the service.
Location - Hindustan park. Next to the Fabindia outlet. A vibrant café in the sombre by-lanes of Gariahat.
The interior is very comfy and cosy, and surprisingly it's very spacious inside. This however, can't be understood from outside.
We decided to sit in the mezzanine floor. It's prettily done up with yellow lights and comfy couches, and chairs.
Now coming to the grub :
• Cold coffee - perfectly made, though slightly costlier than any other café. Still, worth it.
• Colombian Cappuccino - nice and frothy. A bit on the bitter side, yet would be any caffeine addict's love.
• Nacho with cheese dip - the amount of nachos was good. Perfect finger food for a perfect adda. The cheese dip was tasty.
• Chicken mini kives - 10 mini chicken balls with a smiley fry. The balls were nice and crispy with cheese oozing out from within. Yum.
Pocket pinch - 735! Moderately priced.

The white sauce pasta! Being just below my previous work place made it so convenient for me to check out their delicious foods any time. Their cold coffee is great, and of quite a good amount too. Do try out their fries.
we ordered for a basket of mixed fries that they serve and two amazing cold coffees and a chicken mayonaise sandwich. The fries were good but what i liked about the place was their cold coffees. i am strict about the coffees i have since i love it, but this place did not disappoint me at all which the rest do except for CCD and barista. the sandwich had a good amount of filling inside.

If you have enough time to spend on a lazy afternoon or evening, come to Coffee n Mood. The ambience was sooo cool. Try sitting on the 1st floor. The perfect place to spend quality time with your loved ones and friends. Their menu card is pocket friendly too. We had Chicken penne pasta, Cold coffee, Cappuccino with cream and one sundae. All were good. Coffee items were better than other chain coffee shops.

Food - Priced slightly on the higher side. Ordered a cup of English Breakfast & an iced tea. Both were quite okayish. Nothing exceptional. Just one suggestion - please dip the teabag only moments before you serve so that the customer can adjust the tea strength according to her choice. The tea was a little strong for me. But the chicken momo we had ordered, was quite on the raw and uncooked side , which after being given the feedback to the staff was replaced with a much cooked plate within couple of minutes without any argument. Hence, appreciated the effort.

A quiet place with good food n ambience . The staff was quite patient and cooperative . The place is a break away from today's over crowded n noisy cafes . I'm satisfied with the service n the quality of food . Good one !
This place is very closeby, walking distance. Perfect place for me to chillout and drink some coffee with sandwiches. They have a coffee n mood special sandwich, try that. I usually go for Hazelnut latte. They prepared it well. Staff mannerism is of higher grade and surely very nice and clean place. The food was served on time.
One of those cafes where I head to for a sip and sandwich after hectic shopping sessions at Gariahat. Had a cold coffee and a strawberry ice tea last day, and both were decent. The warm maroon tones and the comfortable seating, coupled with the good staff makes for a pleasurable experience.

In a nutshell, Coffee N Mood isn't a place that is worthy of landing up in one's temporary gastromic bucket list. But, then, it is pretty decent place you can hang out in, if you are around Hindustan Park area (and its adjoining Fabindia, of course).
Between the three of us, we had the Double Berry , Tropical Rush and Chocolate Cherry mocktail, each and I liked all of them. The mocktails were not on sugar syrup steroids, and were quite refreshing. Tropical Rush was pink and sweet, Double Berry was more tangy, and Chocolate cherry was, well, more bold and strong in its taste than the others.
We ordered a chilli cheese toast and it was average and forgettable. Had it only been on the drinks, I would have rated the place much higher.
The ambiance is pretty neat, and other than the dubious claim at the back of the menu stating Coffee can cure everything from Parkinson to Cancer, I liked lounging there for an incredibly long time waiting for my friends to turn up, without any waiter hanging around my head for orders. That's quite nice of them, actually.

I am a big big coffee fanatic and I love visiting the bistros and coffee shops in the city. So, on the recommendation of many of my fellow foodies I went to this place last evening with two of my friends. I ordered a cappucino and my friends ordered masala tea and assam tea along with french fries and english mayo with chicken sandwich. My coffee was amazing and well made while teas were too perfectly balanced and lovely in taste. The amount of the fries were generous ( who doesn't like extra fries??) and the sandwich was big and yummy!! the decor was pretty nice and ambiance was great! The value for money is cent percent out here. I will like to visit this place quite more often, with friends or for solo dates :D and I recommend you to do the same!

Somewhere between your chain coffee shops and stand alone cha er dokan is coffee n mood. It is clean, comfortable and you can sit back and relax for a while without servers urging you to take something more. Don't expect a fancy brew and you won't be dissatisfied. The cheese chili toast and the basket of fries are worth a try

We wanted to try some cafe other than any popular cafe chain. Hence, it was pre-planned to go for this place COFFEE N MOOD because "Coffee was just an excuse" and our whole purpose of this BIRTH is to serve humanity with our FOOD REVIEWS !! it's ok you may applause later :P Our orders were Watermelon-ice tea, Blue Lovacano Slash, Veg Steamed Momo and Blue Berry Muffins... Well Blue Lovacano looks like Blue Lagoon at 1st sight but the little sips made me realize looks may be deceptive :D I loved that slash..tangy and the texture of well crushed ice and little froth over it are really refreshing.. Veg momos were no different from other joints but I love the spicy dip which which I begged to leave a drop for me and that heartless enemy of mine engulfed is alllll >:( I didn't have to fight for my muffins (thanks to not so sweet loving SATAN).. a perfect Blue Berry Muffins they were Soft, blue berry pulped jelly, neat and clean presentation, the watermelon ice tea tasted like mocktail but after 3-4 sips I got the flavour and aroma of tea.. I was truly amazed. Last but not the I loved their presentation and pocket friendly place, ambiance is peaceful and relaxing I loved that. The only thing I do not like in most of the joints in Kolkata is the WAITING more than 10 minutes... and for the location thanks to our GPS :D
To start off, this is a quite corner of Gariahat at Hindustan Park area and anything like that for me is a positive start.
- The seating and layout is cozy but the cafe is comparatively in a smaller area....
- Never mind that, cause what I have discovered for Kolkata is that compared to branded chain cafes, these standalone cafes are way better, taste much different and good to be at....4/5 for that
- For a muffin, plate of hot momos, chilled watermelon iced tea and blue lovaco slash, it cost ₹500 bucks...a cool 4/5
- For quality and taste, another 4/5
- Messed up the delivery time period though, so 3/5
Overall a decent but CONSERVATIVE ME 3.5/5....cheers👍 definitely worth multiple tries

Coffee N mood!!
A nice hidden place located in Hindustan park,near Fab India,well!! this is one of the most happening place in South Kolkata & you will find restaurants in every corner of this place, The best thing about this small coffee shop(though it has another floor) is the ambiance, we tried the smoothies & shakes ,they were tasty!! Definitely a place to visit again :)
After returning from "Cloakroom" I saw this coffee shop near Fab India showroom at Hindustan Park.
I don't know why I missed this but after going there I must say it's a hidden gem. They served plenty of teas, shakes, coffees and lots more. The menu provided on Zomato is very less.
The deco and ambiance was good also the seating arrangements were vast and divided between two big rooms.
I tried Hot chocolate with cream first and that was so good.
I also ordered Dark Fantasy Shake. The granular shake with brownie and Cream on top looked good also the tatse was far better than any other outlet near this.
Nice cozy outlet beside fabindia hindusthan park. Coffee is good. Good place for ur evening coffee. Snuggle up with ur friends and enjoy ur coffee!!
Haa...another cafe with decent menu and good ambiance. However..when its coffee..ta lla..I Am Game!!Had cheese garlic toasts..cold coffee..strawberry shake..keema omelette..coffee & mood special sandwich..phew!!whenever its an eating out session..We Rock!!
It was a hot day. The summer has arrived bypassing the spring and we were facing the heat. I was rushing from one place to another and I was hot. I went in there in order to get some respite.
I asked for coffee n mood special. It came in a flash. I gulped it down, so exhausted was I.
It being daytime, the lights were switched off, but the sunlight was sufficient. When I came in the staff switched on the air conditioner and I was cool. But I was yet to cool down and so requested the staff to suggest me something else. He offered cold coffee with caramel and I said ok. That was also great to taste especially since I drank it little by little in order to savour its taste.
The staff was a nice young man with smiling lips.
In normal times in the evening it is crowded. I was lucky I went there in the afternoon, to get a seat of my choice. This shows the popularity of the outlet.
They keep a wide range of imported coffee beans..
Strong means really strong is what they serve, and there is nothing fancy about it. The waiters are friendly and polite. Probably serve the best coffee in the Gariahat region.
Perfect place to hang out with friends. We have noticed this place many times before but didn't try it out. Today we ordered cappuccino, cold coffee, fries, chicken salad sandwich, chicken wrap, cheese chilli chicken toast and I can say every item was tasty and good in quantity. Staffs behaviour and ambience were also good. Overall it was a great experience.

Any one visiting fan India in Gariahat will definitely notice this cafe . It a decent size cafe split across ground and mezzanine floor. Coffee and tea are good and priced reasonably . You will get some fresh cup cake the one I tried was blueberry . It was good too . Momos were also decent enough . Overall a good place to relax over a cup of coffee
This is one of my most favourite cafe in Hindustan park. I would definitely recommend to try their egg corn cheese sandwich pizza and hazelnut latte. It's a bliss.
This cafe has a very homely ambience, we ordered chocolate smoothie, mango smoothie, iced tea and french fries.
All of these tasted really good and the prices are reasonable.
I specially liked their iced tea.
I visited this cute little place located in Gariahat. The outlet has very limited sitting space, but the ambience is good. I tried out their signature hazelnut latte. To be frank, the coffee was quite good. Considering the price and the location that caters to a large student crowd, one should definitely try Coffee N Mood.
The only thing lacking about this place is their wifi. I was trying to work with my system but the wifi was not operational. Despite asking the staff about the same, I did not get a satisfactory response. I am hoping that the issue gets addressed.
If you guys want to chill and have good coffee then you should definitely come here... This place has a pleasant atmosphere...for all the people who are still worried about this covid situation I can say to you guys that this place is well sanitised and precautions are taken here...and last but nit the least comes the food well I can say that the food is also really good over here... Y'all should come here
We visit this cafe when we go to Kolkata as it’s one of our favourite ones. The food and various drinks are good, the staff polite and provide a good service and the cafe has very good air conditioning and a nice, relaxed ambience.
Easy to access, lot of space inside, service is good, staff are attentive. Liked their Irish coffee.
Had a couple of cappuccino and fish finger. The fish seemed pretty fresh to me, and it was a reasonable price. Ambience was quiet and delectable. I took one star off as did not have wifi as advertised on the door.

Nice café located diagonally opposite of The Roastery, and below fab India outlet. Chicken sandwiches and coffee are best served, with hot chocolate. Reasonable prices and good quality, served fresh thus a little longer serving time.
A typical cozy coffee shop located near Gariahat. It has a nice decor and comfortable seating arrangements. The staffs are helpful and response time is very good. Tea, coffee and other side dishes are available. We tried darjeeling tea, water melon flavored ice tea, french fries and garlic bread. All those items were prepared well and portion size were also good.
I had an extremely delicious grilled Mayo Chicken Sandwich here! And a nice cup of tea. Nice atmosphere. I would recommend!
Nice Cafe, perfect place for hang out, we ordered Kitkat shake, basket of fries,
and penne pasta, the food was so tasty, affordable and reasonable price and staff behavior was also very gentle and nice.
This cafe is good. The ambiance are good, but the prices of food is much higher than expected.
I went their with my best friend and we both love the cafe. The food the very tasty. This is the only cafe in Rasbehari Avenue which serves amazing momo. Because we only get continental, Italian food in cafes. But here you will get coffee, momo, noodles, nachos, garlic bread.
