One of my most sweet shops. They have a huge variety of amazing sweets here and all of them are great. Recently ordered their mishti doi, kaju pista barfi and Dilkhush. It was very tasty and delicious. Loved it. Quite recommendable.
Hindusthan Sweets is one of my favourite sweet shops in kolkata. All the items of this place are just lip smacking delicious. I love their Sandesh , Rasgulla , Chamcham very much. My favourite snacks item of this place is Radhaballavi & Alurdam.
They have a unique kinds of sweets. Price is little bit expensive but it justify the quality of the food
I got to try their baked rasgullas and their rabri collection for the first time. It was a gift by someone. Both of them were so amazing. Their rabri collection tasted heavenly. It was so creamy and milky, that I actually had to take a small portion of it and feel the taste of it in my mouth for a long time. I must tell you I am not at all a fan of sweets. But this was an exception. I have no idea about the price since, it was a gift. Even if it is costly, who cares! :)
Ps: Sorry I forgot to take pics đĸ
Ordered some items through Swiggy to fulfill the craving for sweets in this restless time period. I have ordered Rosogolla, Monohora, Malai Chomchom and Kalakand. All of the items were super tasty and sizes were bigger compared to other shop in this price. Happy that I have ordered from here and discovered this.
Being a probashi bengali, I visit kolkata every now and then and had been searching for food that reminds me of my childhood. Today I ordered radhaballabi, bonde, jolbhora kodapak.. I swear to God, all the items were just amazing. In comparison to all the places I have tried so far be it, Sharma, Gupta brothers, Maharaj, maharani, apanjan etc. Hindustan sweets serves the best radhaballabi ever, the allu sabji was amazing as well. Thanks and don't disappoint next time.
Excellent Baked Rassogullas , please maintain the good quality. Jai Shri Krishna
This review is for a home delivery December 2019.. We ordered Radhaballavi and alur dom from this place.. The food was tasty.. We enjoyed the breakfast.. Food and value for money 4/5.

If you are in New Alipore you must visit Hindusthan Sweets at least once. They will serve the top quality Misti Doi and Rosogollas. Along with their sweets , which are pure quality and tasty they also have Veg snacks. From Radhabollobi to Dhokla they do have a good range of snacks.
Have ordered from this place numerous times and never have I been left dissapointed! The sweets and savories they serve are fresh and delicious!
Their mishti doi deserves a special mention
Highly recommended!
They have an amazing stock of namkeen, sweets, snacks etc. Their large variety of sweets is their USP and they are a specialist in Baked Rasgulla, Laddu, Rabri etc.
They also have a wide range of snacks like mini samosa, Khasta Kachuri, paneer Cutlet, vegetable chop etc.
They also offer many packaged snacks items which are very good in taste and perfect for munching in snacks.
From here I ordered braked raagulo and rose Patel Sandesh... it was very tasty and delicious... there food decoration and presentation is very nice .. I loved this sweet store ... they have many varieties .
DAHI VADA was too good ... The curd was well blended and sweet... the main part of the dish is vada which was very soft and soaked in water ... taste is good and it's a healthy choice because this is an oil-free dish... I don't know if urad daal is good or bad for health.
Ordered breakfast which was good.
*Koraishuti r kochuri with aloor dom. It was a combo where you get 5 kachoris. It's quite heavy. One combo enough for two people.
*Ghee ladoo
* Sonpapri
Quality and quantity both was good.
I am a regular at this place , so much so that I keep ordering their snacks and dry fruits through Uber Eats. They have an amazing stock of snacks and Namkeen like Mini Samosa, Nimki, Pancharatna box( which is basically Potato fries with assorted dry fruits), Idli Dhoklas etc- and they all taste great! Along with these I even order their Dry Fruit packs like Cashews, Almonds, Pistachios, Walnuts & Kishmish which are of premium quality.
Favourite sweet shop. If you are in New Alipore area kindly drop in to this place once. This place located at New Alipore is just a heaven for all the sweetlovers. Not only this they have a variety of snacks as well.
.
Though there are other sweets shop in the area, but Hindustan Sweets has been maintaining the quality and day by day they are improving which is pretty impressive.
This place is just near my house. Have almost tried all their items.
.
Baked Rosogolla is of special mention and also my favourite from this place.
.
Rabri is another beautiful sweet from here.
Ghee ka laddoo, kalakand and chocolate sandesh needs special mention. As these are their specialities.
.
Also I love their vegetable chops, basket kachoris, radhaballavis and dahi vadas.
.
Overall a beautiful place. Highly recommended.
Grown up having sweets from this shop.
Loved all their sweets. Located at New Alipore. Must try their rosogolla, sandesh, kulfi , Chinese singara.
Sweets are good..You will get to much variety over there.. Price are affordable.. I always love to go there.. Its near to my work place.. I always recommend you if you searching for variety sweets..
This has always been one of my favourite sweet shops till date . Be it savoury or be it sweet it never disappoints me . Their veg chowmin , chocolate mousse vegetable chops paneer samosa everything deserves special mention .
Its also known as a busstop in new alipore area, kolkata, serves everything vegetarian, there paneer cutlet, barfi and rasmalai is good, pocket pinch -100 rupees for two
Going to my inlaws house and its been a ritual to take sweets from Hindustan Sweets. They are exquisite...had baked rosogolla while taking pick up of kaju sweets, rasmalai and few others...always the best.
This place is nearby my house, hence almost all the sweets required for puja or other occasions come from this shop only. And undoubtedly this is one of my favourite sweets shops. What I like mostly are their Chinese samosa stuffed with noodles, kachori and aloo dum. They have many varieties in sweets and all of them are worth of a try! My favourites are rajbhog, lengcha, chocolate Sandesh and mango doi.
Located in New Alipore
My parents used to buy me sweets and snacks to my way back from school
Still a huge fan of their samosas and dhokla
Love their sandesh and mava Barfi
Heard alot about this place. So finally visited this place with one of my friend.
Ordered mango doi, lengcha and vada pao.
Vada pao could have been more tasty.
Lengcha was good but Mango dahi was superb.
Plz plz do visit if you are a sweet lover .the Cham Cham here is best in town.even the Radha balavi aloodum and sweets are of good standards fairly pirced Happy eating đŖ
This sweet shop was just opposite to my school! It has great variety of sweets! Other than sweets,it has snacks like dhokla, samosa, paneer puff and lot more! The price is quiet decent ND they have great thinks to try like the chocolate sandesh...they also offer sweets made of pure nolen gur!
I quite like this outlet particularly for the availability of milk cake which is rare to be found in their other branches. I also like their raabri, jolbhora sandesh, motichur laddu and pantua. They are quite famous in the city and always try to maintain that reputation.
Only the price is bit on higher side which may need to be looked upon.
Hindusthan Sweets is an very old and renowned sweet shop of New Alipore Area. When we think about sweets the only one name came to our mind and that is Hindusthan Sweets. Visiting this shop from my childhood days. It is just 500 meters from my home. There rate is little bit high but they serve excellent qualities of sweets. People must try there Pinaple Mewa Barfi, Kalakand, Kesar rashomalai, Rabri, Mishti-Doi, Mixed fruit Moose. There snacks items are also excellent. The Radha Ballavi with Alurdum is best one. Karaisuti Khasta kachuri is another masterpiece. the serve excellent Dahi Vada also. Samosa, Chinese Samosa and Paneer Samosa are also delicious.
I have been going to this place for the last 6 years and have almost tasted majority of the mithai this shop sells. But the rosomalai, dhokal and dum aloo stands out for me. The special malai chop has become another reason to visit this place.
I tried their chocolate souffle and to my complete surprise it was the best chocolate delicacy i have had at a sweet shop. It was way better than all the mud pies, chocolate brownies i have tried so far. It is a quick fix to all your chocolate cravings and very pocket friendly. I couldnt stop myself from eating so got a few more. It comes in a small bowl and another in a shot glass and are a must try.

just awesome!Â
this is the best Ghee Ladoos i have ever had..........Â
will order again soon!
ps thanks swiggy!
I tried their Radhaballavi which was served with aloo-torkari and was very tasty. The radhaballavis are kept in a hot-case and are heated in a microwave before serving. However, I didn't find much drop in the taste due to that. I also tried the Baked Rashogolla and that was mindblowing. The shop is very neat and clean. They have a handwash and drinking water facility. Staff was polite and friendly.
I hv bn ordering a no.of sweets n snacks from dis place..which are undoubtedly tasty..Malaichop,Dry gulab jamun,kesar chumchum,milkcake,veg.cutlet deserve spcl mention..worth trying!!
Ordered through Swiggy so will directly talk about the sweets
Dahi Vada - This was really tasty
Kesar Ras Malai - Though I have not tasted it but the feedback received from people who eat it was good.
Jalbora - This was awesome but the Jol (read Molasses) was too little in quantity.
2nd Order:
Kiwi Abar Khabo
Kalakand
Kesar Rabri
Lancha
Ohh boy, the kalakand and Kiwi Abar Khabo was just awesome.
Located in new alipore. Its an abode of refreshments for most of the people going towards suruchi sangha during puja. Highly recommended for light snacks and sweet lovers. Moreover it is reasonably cheap and is ideal for people who are short on their budget. It has a wide variety of deserts along with tongue-twisting chats, dahi-bara, dhokla, samosas, bhujias and etc. One can get bite of pastries as well. Moreover the staffs were also good and generous. One can easily get enough stuffs for two at the cost of 100-150.
The only problem is that it do not have any seating arrangements so it becomes a bit crowded during puja time. Â
So i would suggest all the foodies to go and visit this sweet shop which is economical as well as has a great variety with good taste.
Highly recommended place for superb sweet n snacks one of my favourite place lot's of variety of Sandesh Abar khabo rabari chum chum samosa Radha bhallvi veg pattice cutlet all items serve fresh
The products are really good. No doubt about that. Buy from them without doubt...you will get the best. I always buy Rasgullas from them. They are really the best in this area.
Very nice sweet shop in new alipore area. Great place to have some snacks and sweets as tiffin. Dhokla is very tasty, so as all the sweets. The place previously had price tag, but not now. I request the authorities if they can have price tags, because it is very annoying to ask price everytime.
This is located just in my neighborhood and is amazing sweet shop .. has got variety of sweets specially try the baked rosugulla and chomchom o and khirkodom ..good management

This is located in Jyotish Roy Road crossing. Great sweet shop with variety of sweets. Almost all kind of sandesh and other sweets available. Good management and good prices.
Love the sugar-free sweets here and the malai chom chom and the roshogolla, also the fresh juices sans Malai (Paramount still rules the roost when it comes to malai shakes)
Service is pathetic though, the counter folks are just too rude and impatient, enough for me to dock a couple points off and want to not visit!
Really nice place for sweets as well as for sone nice snacks. They sell nice sweetmeats unlike the other bengali sweet shops... their round dhoklas are good too
This shop falls on the New Alipore Connector from Prince Anwar Shah Road side. . In reasonable price you will get mouthwatering sweets for sure. If you have a sweet tooth, drop down to this place and experience some amazing sweets of bengal.
Located opposite of the Allahabad bank on the right , while coming from New Alipore petrol pump towards Tollygunje. Â Their sweets r great... gud quality.. fair pricing... yes it's value for money....
I love d rasagolla, cham cham which is quite their specialty!
This place have very good kochuri and alur dom, mangso doi, they have chops too,two in one sandesh is my fav,the chomchom is fantastic, the mango rabri is very good.
After lunch at Koshe Kosha we head to Hindustan sweets for desserts. Tried backed Rosgulla, Sandesh. Really yummy. There are huge variety of sweets. Couldn't resist to taste 3 more desserts at same place
Hindustan sweets is a popular name of New Alipore.
Ambience is nice, decorated.
Service is fine with nice staffs.
Tried their Gajar ka halwa, which is seasonal, is very nice. I love their chamcham too, soft, juicy and delicious. Their namkeen items are nice too.
Overall a nice experience.

It is not only a sweet shop at New Alipore, but literally a land mark. The Bus stop is identified as Hindustan Sweets .It is a well decorated and very aptly designed outlet in keeping with the times.
So has the variety and decor of both sweets and savory items are in this sweet shop.Propritory packed items like Nimki, Mini Samosa are also available.Enough space is there to stand and eat a few sweets at the outlet, and it is not a pre paid system.
Gajar Halwa is seasonally available and some thing to be savoured. For me Hindustan Sweets is a land mark and a sweet shop with lots of fond childhood memories.
If you are at new aalipur, you should try their sweets for sure. In reasonable price you will get mouthwatering sweets for sure. If you have a sweet tooth, drop down to this place and experience some amazing sweets of bengal. đđ
People should definitely try sweets here....some of the sweets here is heaven.... :) moreover the prices are not too high....and the service is awesome...and above all the ambience is pretty good! :)

Located opposite of the Allahabad bank on the right , while coming from New Alipore petrol pump towards Tollygunj.Have been visiting this most legendary traditional sweet shop of this area since my childhood. Love the sweets dipped in sugar syrup and malai chomchom.
People who don't know about Hindustan Sweets, show a raise of hands. Well, if you live under a rock and don't know what this outlet is, you're missing out on a heck lot of things in life.
Hindustan Sweets is one of the most popular sweets shop in Kolkata. This joint is located at New Alipore, decorated heavily outside to attract more people.
Quality of sweets is pretty good here. Although parking is a problem, the food kind of makes up for it. I personally love their Cham Cham.
Very good sweet and savoury items. Their chowmein is very bad though. The quality of their food is very good. One of the best sweet shops in Kolkata.
This shop was d only decent sweet shop in d area since long ... guess even now it's kept up its exclusivity....
Their sweets r great... gud quality.. fair pricing... yes it's value for money....
I love d rasagolla, cham cham which is quite their specialty!
I hav a bit of nostalgia when I pass the shop! End up missing d days when as a kiddo I used to regularly go to d shop with my dad âē
I have never visited this place but always got a parcel from this. Mostly had there Kala jamun, aam doi and kachori. Aam doi is nthng special but loved there Kala jamun . There kachori is comparatively less oily compared to any other sweet shop and this is the best part I like of them.

Have dropped multiple times in their Jadavpur Branch, but managed to come here only once. Situated at New Alipore, one needs to enter from Tollygunge Phari, to reach this shop. Loved the Radhaballavis here and the Rasmalai. A special mention to their irresistible and most popular Cham Cham. The store is clean, with helpful staffs. Although, due to excessive rush, one might need to wait to receive their orders. Prices are decent, and absolutely justifies the quality these people maintain. Although, some people may argue, that the quality has seen a drop over the last couple of years, but even then till now, these guys have no real competition in and around the area they are put up at!

A very good sweet shop located in alipore ( keep going straight towards alipore from tolly phari)
The shop is hygenic and the sweets here are fresh always. Their channa preparations are very delicious. I have been here few times and have tried their chum chum. The Ras malai and chocolate sandesh are also well made.
They have snacks too here on offer.
Have even got an assorted sandesh box packed from here on one occasion and the recipient was very happy with the contents and taste of it.
Prices are decent and this place is a good try for sweets. Another advantage for this outlet is that their are no good sweet shops in the vicinity ( only Gupta brothers if you keep going deeper into alipore)
So no doubt a good option in the area.
Hindustan sweets at Alipur is quite a famous outlet for their sweets of course. Various sandesh and quality nolen gur sweets from this place is a their forte and recommended too. Also the Misti doi is a must try. Many snacks items are available too which can be considered for a try.
One of the oldest in the area & one the busiest too. The food is fresh & tasty. Service is prompt, options are in plenty, has recently been renovated & itâs easy on the pocket. The Chinese samosa & bread pakora would be my recommendation.
Another oldest outlet in the area... tried some of there sweets from this outlet many times... I love there rasogolla very much... parking is a heavy task here for those who have cars... the deco is updated recently... pocket pinch was considerably ok...

This is the second largest outlet of Hindustan sweets in the city and caters to a huge consumer base in New Alipore. The sweets are brilliant and so are the savory items.
My personal favorites are the kheer kadam, baked rasogolla, chocolate mishtis, and the radha ballabis.
Nostalgia is a feel, whenever I visit this eatery. Located at New Alipore, the place brings back the old good school days of mine, where as a hungry student, used to visit this shop located about 200 meters away from my school and had different varieties of snacks and sweets. Although it was a Non Air Conditioned sweet shop back then, today it has redeveloped into a new face and the taste is absolutely the same as ever.
Rosogolla, pantua, abar khabo sandesh, motipaak, kaju barfi, ice-cream sandesh, butterscotch sandesh, benarasi rabri, malai chomchom, vegetable cutlet, misti doi, radhaballavi alurdom, rosmalai..... Uffff konta chere konta boli..... Protita onoboddo...
Sweets are good but a very big disappointment because of their management.
The most sad part is they keep on increasing their prices according to their will and very hard on your pocket.

Place full of treasures... Treasures that are very valuable but reasonable at the same time... Loads of sweets you can have many of them and it won't pinch your pocket.. Love this place and the delicious taste and suprefresh quality of the sweets
One of the best sweet shops in New Alipore. They make both Bengali sweets which mainly use cottage cheese or cheena and North Indian style sweets using khoya and dry fruits. The price is on the higher side but they don't compromise with quality. I specially love their aloo dum which they provide along with the kachuris.
My yet another favourite sweet and savory shop... they have amazing and wide variety of yummy sweets they also serve snacks not all of them are good my favourites are chinese samosa and dhoklas
this place is too good and it justifies its name . the quality is by far the best among all those sweet shops i have visited.i often do my breakfast with tasty dishes present in here . may b we have ate tons of paneer from here . the paneer has a different smell which i love the most. there are plenty of other healthy dishes present here other than just sweets. the cost is high but the quality balances it
First thing first this Hindustan Sweets is not a branch of the Jadavpur Hindustan Sweets. For a fact it is way better than the latter. In summer season try their wide range of "abar khabo" mishtis from different Mango Abar Khabo which is my absolute favourite to its Litchi variant then the orange n kiwi abar khabo which are mostly available all d time. Don't go for their malpoas its nt worth it but their rosogollas, rasmalai, ghee laddu are awesome. In snacks I especially like their panner cutlet n vegetable chop. Their dahi vadas r very sweet. Overall its my fav sweet shop.
This place is legendary. No one needs to define or advertise about this shop as it is counted amongst one of the best and oldest sweet serving parlours in kolkata. One has to come here otherwise will miss something big.
One word ..very very good. The famous hindusthan sweets situatd in new alipore offers varieties of sweets ... Even savouries from dahi vada to dhoklas. Their famous kochuri alurdam is oh so yum..
Very good place it is..
The recent additions in the offering will leave you craving for more. The stuff like idly sized dhokla and raj kachaori and dahi vada are just yum. Well not forget the best in class mishti doi
