Had the chicken shawarma salad from their kiosk in the food court, Burp!inside Forum. Quite tasty and filling for 165 rupees. Service was quick and the food was freshly prepared. Worth a try!
After a roam at the mall(half closed), we needed a light meal for 2 of us, we chose this place from the food court.
We ordered, Chicken Shawarma Salad with Pita and Hummus.
They said they didn't have hummus, thus, they replaced with mayo. It was tasty, and the quantity was sufficient for 2 of us with a full dose of breakfast in the morning 2hrs back. It's enough for 1 with an empty tummy. Pita bread was too dry, and had butter in between them, but didn't taste the butter.
Deducted a bit of points because, with previous pictures on Zomato, ours had lesser chicken and more veggies.
Good service, took 5 mins in total. Good behavior too.

We were served with one chicken shawarma roll. The Shawarma was juicy and had enough fillings. I love the humus, but the plain pita bread was too dry for me. Overall, good experience.
Had ordered shawarma salad with pita and humus. It was served hot. Pita was soft. Salad contained way more capsicum and onion than pieces of chicken. Other than that, it was really good to taste.
Ordered the chicken shawarma which tasted pretty much average. The delivery time is not much and the presentation is also very basic. I don't think I'll give it a second try.

Ar-han-thai is one of the many food court outlets at the Forum mall. They offer thai and middle eastern dishes. The most notable ones from the menu are the chicken lebanese kebabs (middle eastern brethren of our kababs) and the shwarma. The shwarma is one of the best I have had in Kolkata, and I would definitely recommend it to others. The service is also fast.
But then again, the thai food was not noteworthy at all. If someone is looking for a quick bite of shwarma or kebabs at a pocket friendly price, this is the place to order to.
My colleague and I had visited this outlet for Chicken Shawarma rolls some years ago. We had already eaten the same item from the Spencer’s food court at South City Mall, but this one tasted way better. One reason could be the fact that we went there before noon, and were actually the first customers. The chicken on the rotisserie was fresh, and we also asked the kiosk attendant to roast the pita before making our wraps. The succulent chicken pieces complemented the crisp bread to make a toothsome combo :P

Ar-Han-Thai is your one-stop place to get Middle Eastern food in Forum Mall, Elgin. Food here is pretty good. Recently I had ordered a Chicken Shawarma from this joint. I received my order in a nicely wrapped manner with a side of pickle and salad. The shawarma was tasty and the stuffing inside was generous. The service here is more or less fast and the staff is well-behaved and friendly.
This place is known for their shawarma and was possibly the first restaurant to serve it in Kolkata. I've been having their shawarma from here since I was a child. It had a generous amount of chicken shawarma , with capsicum and tomatoes and lots and lots of sauce consisting mainly of yogurt , mint, mustard and mayonnaise. It's served in a pita bread with green chutney and a salad on the side. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very balanced. The pita bread was also toasted well and there were many textures of crunch, softness and chewiness in it. It was full of flavour. A must try for some authentic Lebanese food enthusiasts.
The shawarma is very filling. The preparation is perfect. The price is reasonable according to the quantity. I also had the grilled sandwich which is well stuffed with chicken. The quality of food is satisfying here.

This was one of the first places serving lebanese food. The chicken shawarma roll is very good. Its very filling and tasty. Even their chicken salad is very good.
They have opened another outlet in raharjat, so dont need to travel too much for my lebanese cravings.
Prices are reasonable and worth trying.
Had the Chicken Shawarma Salad on our last visit. It was quite heavy. The salad was rich in flavor, the veggies were fresh, and the meat was quite succulent. All in all a good experience. Will love to visit again some day. Thank your for such a heavy meal.

I remember this place as the first ever joint serving shawarma salads and rolls. All I knew, they served yummy white rolls full of veggies n meat!
Since then, my city has seen many outlets serving Lebanese food. Gladly, they decided to open in Rajarhat as well.
But really hope, they open an outlet in Salt Lake as well!
One of my most favourite places of Chicken Shawarma and they are too good with all the items they make. Though they don't have too many items in their menu but whatever they have they do justice to that. The most special item which they are known for is the Chic mlken Shawarma Salad. Grilled Chicken, Mayonnaise, Salad with some magic in hand, and that's how they prepare. The Chicken Grilled Sandwich is another item which they have speciality in.
This outlet can be easily located. You will easily get this place in Burrp, food court of Forum Mall.
So a definite go to place for Shawarma lovers, as this place wont disappoint you for sure.

This is the first place where I have had shawarma roll and I must say I loved it. It's really fresh and delicious. A bit messy but really worth the taste. Also, the price is really reasonable. It's definitely worth trying atleast once. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty and hearty meal at pocket friendly rates. Happy Dining!
Visited this place many times-Tried their chicken shawarma twice!I have tried shawarmas at other places too but theirs is somehow a little lighter-yet full of flavours and the portion served is also good and they are way more Economic compared to many other Lebanese cuisine serving food outlets.their kebabs too are great!!great for meat cravers!

Present in the food court of forum and south city , this place needs special mention as it serves awesome kebabs . Today i went to shopping at forum and came across this place. Wanted to order mutton kebabs but they were out od mutton so we zeroed down to iranian chicken kebab and it tasted really well. the pic is little hazy please excuse that. Will visit soon to have their shawarma.
Well the review comes late but better late than never.Anyways the first swarma i tried was out here.And trust me it was the best of the lot.I ve further tasted many chicken swarma but nothing beats the one found here.

Situated inside Forum Mall. Have to spend time and have some snacks before going for a film? Well, this is your answer. Ordered Chicken Shawarma Roll which proved to be quite tasty. Along with that, pudina chutney and sliced onions were served . Overall, the food is great. The staffs were helpful too. Must try.
we had Paneer & Chicken Shawarma and must say the taste was quite good. they could have improved by changing the bread to Qaboos and don't need to use a paper to hold the wrap. rest the service & ambience was good.
Sneaking the picture of the stall was a bit awkward but I'm totally in love with this place. I was in a search of good chicken sawarma and chicken sawarma salad. This place is indeed a boon. It tasted yum and drove me crazy. Though the prices are on the higher side, this place is worth opting for and is value for money. If you are a Lebanon delicacy lover then without a second thought you can bump in. The service is prompt and you would usually get a table there.

As the name suggests, Ar-Han-Thai is a small food stall located in Forum Mall food court that deals in Thai and mainly Lebanese food. Since I don't often get to enjoy Lebanon food and was trying out Lebanese after a long time and must say that it really paid off well.
Ordered a Chicken Shawarma and a Chicken Shawarma Salad as suggested by the guy at the counter. The Chicken Shawarma was fine and served with pudina chutney and sliced onions. The Shawarma Salad was quite good and was sufficient quantity for two. It came with big pieces grilled and creamy chicken shawarma.
Pricing is quite descent but it would have been better if it was on a slightly lower side. Service was quick and order was prepared under five minutes or so. Staff was quite helpful in suggesting us what to order.
Well finally, its a quite good place and considering the scarce options available at Forum's food court, it is not a bad idea to try out some stock Lebanese delicacies.

After a long travel and being new to the city , nothing was really striking a cord with me until I ate here! The shwarmas of my hometown and that here were so similar.
However the classic pickles are a bit different here.
The green chutney is a welcome addition!
The chicken pieces were warm and creamy and it was highly fulfilling!
Ahhh lipsmacking food. Had ordered for Chicken Shawarma and Iranian Chicken K kebab. Prices are reasonable. Lebanese it is. Was looking for something just like this.
The ultimate place for having chicken shawarma - as claimed by one of my friends. Initially I was a little bit skeptical of trying the dish bt was reassured that I will not be disappointed. N surely I was NOT. That was the best shawarma I have ever had till date. Its wayyyyy better in terms of taste n quantity than that of Go Lebanese which has quite a high rating on zomato. The service is quick n the staffs are very helpful. N they charge u only Rs 120 for that heavenly dish. Loved it...

Chicken Shawarma! The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about this place. About 4-5 years back I was wandering around the food court of forum with my friend deciding what to eat. We came across Ar Han Thai. On the menu they had Chicken Shawarma and we were skeptical about it. But the chef assured us that it was the most popular item on the menu. So we gave it a try. It was great!! From that day onward I had made my relatives, my friends and my colleagues to try it out and all of them had the same verdict. It was priced at Rs. 80 then. Now it is around Rs. 120. The quality hasn’t deteriorated over the same. Nothing stops me from having it.
Ar-Han-Thai at both Forum and South City are stalls and not really restraunts.
The one at forum sell thai and Lebenese food. So far I have just tried shawarma salad and shawarma wrap and it's simply wonderful. One of the best wraps and salads I've ever tried. 5 stars for those 2 items
The biggest problem with the outlet at spencers, axis mall, is the lack of options. The menu is limited, more so due to the unavaibility of several dishes listed in the menu. The chicken salad and the chicken shawarma are two dishes that I have tried and will definitely recommend. The food is really good and extremely heavy. Satisfying and not too taxing on the pocket either.
as usual went to the south city spencer's food court..and decided to taste food from ar-han - thai..
we tried their combo offer of chowmein and chillichicken..which was very good..and loved it and satisfied my hunger calls..and also had chicken shawarma which was great one..
in totality had a good time with grt food and really a pocket friendly affair..:)
Yet another food court outlet of Forum serving some quality munchies. Known to provide good Shawarma, I tried the Chicken Shawarma, ( which I had after a long time ) and the Grilled Chicken Mayonnaise Sandwich, both of which were very yummy!! and filling. Filled with the tasty chicken mayo combination along with some veggies and served with a mint chutney and onion dipped in vinegar, it serves for an excellent bite. The Sandwich, surprisingly, tasted a tad better than the Shawarma. A very refreshing and welcome change from the usual pizzas and burgers. The price was also quite reasonable. A very good option for mall hoppers.

1) Ordered one chicken shawarma. It costs 120 bucks exact. The shawarma was not served to me in usual pita but a little heated maida roti. The chicken and the vegetables were topped with usual mayo and nothing extraordinary. I was served with Green chutney, Chillies and Onion. It was good enough. It was neither great nor too bad. The chunks of chicken made up for it though.

Conclusion:
Ar-han-thai is one of the places in Kolkata which started off the Shawarma concept. They were located right beside Aliah hotel. However, couldn't work well so somehow their USP fell. It again revived back though.
I would surely give it a visit again. If you want to stuff yourself when you are too hungry, this is the place. As i was hungry, i hogged in the roll a bit. Btw, i have attached the pic of the chicken chunks which can be seen. Yumm. Pictures taken from Iphone.
One of the first people to introduce Shawarma's to Kolkata and still going strong !!!! At one time I used to visit the Food Court weekly for my Chicken Shawarma Fix and at least in terms of flavor and taste the still whip up a pretty good Chicken Shawarma .... yes its not completely authentic and flavors are tweaked to suit local tastes but its quite tasty and always fresh. The Shawarma size has shrunk somewhat and the price has certainly increased but its still a good option not to mention a tasty wrap. The Wanton's and Spring rolls are also not too bad and the soups are also decent.
If you happen to be at the food court of Forum Mall, and not looking forward to the usual Pizza Hut or Subway, this counter is highly recommended. I've tasted the Chicken Shawarma and the Grilled Chicken Mayonnaise Sandwich from this place......and they were both really good. The shawarma was filled with chicken and mayonnaise in the perfect combination and served with a mint chutney. Just the way I like it. Can't comment on how authentic or Lebanese it is....but all that matters is that it was yummy ! The Sandwich was awesome as well....quiet filling and delicious. What I liked about this place is that the Chicken items were not filled with bell peppers or onions, like it is at some places. So, if you are nearby, do give this place a try. :)
My favourite place for the shawarmas.Both the salad and the wrap.One of the oldest joint selling them and has still maintained the quality.

This is one of the first eateries in Calcutta to introduce Shawarma wraps which has taken Calcutta by storm these days. While after researching a bit you realize that what is served as Shawarma isn't authentic even at Ar-han-thai ,the wraps served are a raging hit. With the right blend of mayonnaise and Lebanese garlic sauce the wraps are delectable. The meat is succulent with the right texture and the wraps are enough for a proper meal along with some fruit juice etc. The Iranian chicken kebabs are quite tasty and on a whole this place serves excellent wraps. They do charge a bit extra for take-aways but the charges are nominal. The prices are pocket friendly for students and people on a budget.

Chicken Shawarma Roll is very well done and also chicken falafel is very tasty. I wou suggest you to try their chicken tikka grilled sandwich and even the chicken shawarma. You will love those. Hotdogs are also very tasty.
Overall a nice restaurant.

I haven't really tried the other items on the menu, so will not be able to comment on that and more importantly it is only the shavarma which makes this places popular.
