This multu cuisine restaurant is located just 8 mins walking distance from Sodpur-SEP Railway station. Diner playing by train would need to get down at station and move towards amarabati bus stop. U can alternatively take an auto upto amarabati stop.
Located just opposite to Domino's Sodpur.
Ambience- One has to enter through a narrow lane beatifully decorated with bulb hanglings and wooden log of chair style. Then finally the passage widens up and u get the main restaurant entrance. The passage ambience is something u will get stuck into for a while for sure, very unque and appealing.
There are 2 sitting areas, one with table of 6 and 4 seating capacity can accommodate around 30-35 people. They also have a private lounge where there is capacity for 40+ people. The inside wall have been to the perfection. There is a giant LCD TV screen. Low light theme will be ideal for both lunch & dinner.

Cheese burst broccoli :- Contained 6 pieces of cheese marinated soft broccoli which will just melt in your mouth.
Crispy fish : Contained 6 crunchy round pieces of fish with very thin outer coating and very soft inside.
Mixed noodles -Consisting of shredded pieces if chicken, prawn, egg and baby corn. Overall nice taste and 1 plate of noodles sufficient for 2 people.
Afghani kulcha- Kulcha with Decent stuffings and soft covered with butter. Believe me 1 peices enough for 1 person.

Mutton Biriyani and chicken butter masala tasted good. Prices are reasonable. Quantity is good for two.

It is quite a famous joint,well known for the kababs that they serve.

The kababs stood up to their expectations,they were juicy and creamy. I liked the Murgh Malai kabar better. The portions of each of the dishes were also pretty decent.
It was the Chinese main-course that left us a little disappointed. We asked the staff to make the noodles less spicy. But all you could taste was the spicyness,no flavours whatsoever. The chicken in oyster sauce was recommended to us,but it was a very average dish.
While we were struggling to complete our main-course,the staff did offer us to remake the noodles,but we're too full to have more of it. But,we must specially acknowledge the service of the place. They were kind enough to serve us complimentary desserts.
Also,the themed decor will definitely attract you.
Overall,though the Chinese section didn't impress us as much. We will definitely revisit this place to try their Indian food section
I went to delicious taverna for dinner which is located near sodepur station towards madhyamgram, just opposite of domino's. Let's come to the food. The quality of food was soo good. I really love all items specially I love nan Nd mutton. The place and the staffs were very good. All items were very tasty. A recommended restaurant.

It was a good place, even though the exterior was a bit on the dull side, the interior surely made up for it. Located around 5-6mins walking from the Sodepur railway station or you can take an auto upto amarabati bus stop. Just opposite to the Sodepur domino's.
The exterior looks pretty dull and small from outside view but as you enter, the interior will awestruck you for a while. This place have two different kind of seating arrangements for the diners. They have tables for 4-6 people as well as they have 30+ seating for a business team lunch or office team lunch as well.
Coming to the food we've had,
Cheese Bursts Broccoli : 6 pieces of parboiled broccoli marinated with some hung yogurt, cheese, cinnamon powder and some other spices which gives a beautiful aroma leaving on your nose as you eat.
Crispy Fish : Crunchy, delicious if I have to describe it in one word. Contains 8 pieces of fish pakodas served with some mayonnaise and salads.
Bell Pepper Chicken : A little bit spicy but delicious. The stir fried bell peppers with the chicken is one of the best starters we've had today. Recommended.
Afghani Kulcha : the kulcha was soft and had satisfying amount of fillings inside which was the best part about the kulchas.
Mutton Ghost Bhuna : The mutton pieces were soft and had a kind of smoky flavor in the dish. The fat part of the mutton left a bit of oil in the dish. The fried onions perfectly balanced the sweetness of the dish otherwise it could've been more spicier. There were around 8-10 small mutton pieces. So you can have at least 2-3 kulchas with it easily.
Lemon Rice : I personally loved it. I highly Recommend you to try this one. The kaffir lime leafs, the lemon zest and obviously the lemon juice beautifully flavoured the dish. Loved it. RECOMMENDED.
Chicken Thai Curry : Typical Thai Cuisine. The semi cooked chicken in coconut milk. You can literally sense the lemon grass. Perfect to go with your lemon rice. If you're ordering lemon rice, do order Chicken Thai curry as well to compliment your rice.
Mixed Noodles : Pretty decent amount of shrimp they've used. Chicken and eggs were visible as well. They use cashews in the dish which was pretty much unexpected. A bit oily it was, which I didn't like but the taste was good.
Basanti Polau : Ahh I love the aroma of polau. Sweet as it should be. Pretty decent. Liked it.
Chicken Tikka Butter Masala : Another dish I would recommend. Delicious. Loved it. Perfect for Polau. Recommended.
The prices were pretty decent. No issues with the quantity as well. The staffs were really nice. It was a lovely experience having lunch here.

It is a small beautifully decorated outlet that can accommodate around 35-40 people at a time and also had a banquet where around 30 people can dine together.

Visited this place a while ago. I noticed this place on my way to sodepur station and thought to drop by for a quick lunch. It's only a few minutes of walking distance from sodepur station.

🔸Malai Broccoli : One of the best Broccolis I have had. The malai on top is absolutely amazing!
🔹 Crispy Chicken in Sweet Chilli Basil Sauce : The chicken was surprisingly tender! The sweet chilli basil sauce added a nice kick to it. Also liked the fact that they garnish it with crunchy fried garlic bits.
🔸Mutton Bhuna with Basanti Pulao : We combined the Mutton Bhuna with Basanti Pulao and it was absolutely heavenly. The mutton pieces were soft and well cooked. The gravy was rich and full of spices, slow cooked to perfection.
All in all, I spent a lovely time here. They also have a small banquet beside dining area for parties and get togethers.

Delicious teverna is located bear sodpur and it is close to sodpur station. It is a awesome restaurant and the foods are very good to taste as well as they serve it very nicely. I have visited it a few days back and had a very good experience i have ordered Broccoli Cheese, Chicken Singapore, Fish Fry, Singapore noodles, Lemon Chicken, Thai Red sauce chicken, Kashmiri polao, chicken tikka masala and pineapple pudding. This new outlet is opened at Sodepure, near amrabati bus stand. Land mark can be said dominos or Tanishq jewellery shop or Senco gold jewelers. Decor is very nicely done. It has a Banquet for any party or large group. Apart from that is has some other seating arrangements. Staffs hospitality was quite impressive. We friends ordered some dishes like dahi broccoli, crispy chicken, fish chop, bhuna with kulcha, polao, lemon rice with butter chicken, pudding, coke…overall a good experience we had.

For food lovers, exploring new and exciting places is just as important as air is important to breathe. For this, few days back I was present at this wonderful restaurant which have been haunting me since a while and I was not getting the chance to be here.
The place is located in sodepur area just opposite the sodepur dominos outlet and it is about 5mins walk from sodepur railway station platform number 4.
The restaurant is divided into two parts. One is for casual dining with cozy ambience and matching interiors while there is also a banquet type sitting area where about 30people can sit together. If you come in a large group, you cna definitely prefer this area.
Now coming to the foods, we tried many items from starters to main course.
Among the starters i personally liked,
🔸Cheesy roasted broccoli - large pieces of broccoli were roasted gently in tandoor and was garnished with cheese and cream. It tasted lipsmackingly wonderful.
🔹Deep fried Crispy fish - here a little amount of fish fillet is taken and coated with some special mixture and then dip fried. For this, outer part was crunchy while inside it was too soft and juicy.
Then again in the main course section tried some of the items of their recommendation but of those I personally liked,
🔹Afgani kulcha with mutton bhuna - kulcha were nicely stuffed and was really very soft while mutton bhuna was a bit rich in spices but both complimented each other nicely.
🔸Lemon rice with Thai chicken red curry - the rice well cooked and had a distinct flavour of lemon which I personally like very much. Thai red curry had small chunks of chicken as well as mushrooms also and the flavour of the gravy combined really well with lemon rice.
Then at last we tried something sweet - Pineapple blossom. This was a thick shake with pineapple slices in it. Tasted good.
Overall a very nice place in this area to give you fine dine experience. Good food, great ambience, reasonable pricing - this outlet ticks all the boxes. So a must visit place for everyone, highly recommended.

The most newest and finest restaurant which has been opened most recently situated at sodepur and the nearby place of sodepur rail station and it's exactly situated at on ambravati palli road opposite of dominoz...!!! I visited over here a couple of days back for attending a get together of a group of my friends ,, after we went there I found that they have set up there restaurant with some beautiful and tempting lights inside the restaurant and have some art work on the wall .!!! From the entrance area they have decorated this restaurant nicely...till to the interior Ambience..!!! The ambience is also divided into two places, one place is just for couple of friends where more than two to three small tables are there for sitting and another place is for a hudge number of people or hudge number of friends group..., Where a long table is there with the capacity of 24 to 30 peoples sitting arrangements...!!! Coming to the part of foods ,, we ordered a hudge number of the dishe's from there menu, and I personally the dish which I like the most of them and that is mutton bhuna gost combined with tandoori nun and another one is veg pulao,, which is actually served with the authentic aroma flavour and tossed with some cashews nuts and lots more..!!! So I would love to recommend all the people out there please do visit this place once and have some delicious foods Along with some good experiences ahead...

We had shredded chicken, a fish preparation and a broccoli dish as the starters. Enjoyed bhuna gosht with kulcha, mix noodles, pulao and chicken dish in the main course. Pineapple blossom was awesome as the beverage.

Went there some a some days ago..This place is located at 10 mins walking distance from sodepur station.
The ambiance was pretty cool ..On entering you will find some wooden log styled stool and some chair ..Inside along with the entrance area was beautifully decorated with lights.

🔸Crispy Veg in spicy Plum Sauce had some deep fried vegetable flakes .Sweet and sour taste of the pulm sauce goes perfectly with it.
🔸Red Thai Curry with steam Rice was good too.fuming Hot curry along with the fine rice was simply awesome.the curry had a buttery taste .
🔸Steamed fish in Orange spicy sauce had some pieces of cornflower coated fried fish cooked it real orange juice.fish was super soft.It literally melts in mouth giving a combination of tangy taste along with a bit spiciness of chilli.
🔸Dal Makhani was nothing exceptional but tasted good.
🔸Kesar pista icecream had real pista and tastes simply amazing

This was amazing. Chicken was so juicy and tender. Malai was just perfect. Totally yummy.
2. Crispy veg in spicy plum sauce.
This is very unique. I liked it. Veggies was crispy and plum sauce was really yummy. Taste was overall lovely.
3. Delicious special mixed fried rice
Rice was so good. Lovely taste.
4. Murgh butter masala
Chicken was perfectly cooked, soft. Gravy also very tasty. I loved it.
Delicious Taverna is located in Sodpur and has been renovated recently. With a super good ambience, this restaurant serves excellent food as well. We had Lung Fung Soup, Fish tikka, Crispy fish, Fried rice, Chicken in basil sauce, Chunky prawns and Hot Gulab jamun with chocolate icecream.

কলকাতা শহরে প্রায় দিনই নিত্য নতুন ক্যাফে বা রেস্তোরাঁ খুলছে। শহরতলিও এই ব্যাপারে খুব একটা পিছিয়ে নেই। দিন কয়েক আগে গেছিলাম সোদপুরের Delicious Taverna তে। ছোটো গ্রীক ক্যাফে বা রেস্তোরাঁ কে বলা হয় Taverna, সুস্বাদু খাবার পরিবেশনের জন্যে এই রেস্তোরাঁর নাম যথার্থ।
সোদপুর স্টেশন থেকে একদম সামনেই অমরাবতী মোড়েই অবস্থিত এই রেস্তোরাঁ।
এখানে এসে প্রথমেই নিয়েছিলাম Virgin Mojito। বেশ refreshing ছিলো এটি। এরপর নিয়েছিলাম পনীর টিক্কা এবং Shredded Chicken with Chilli Garlic Sauce। পনীর এর সাইজটা বেশ ভালোই এবং ভিতরে মশলা টা ঠিকঠাক লেগেছে। এটি আর একটু ভালো হতে পারতো স্বাদের দিক থেকে। Shredded Chicken টা আমার ঠিকঠাক লেগেছে।
মেইন কোর্সে নিয়েছিলাম মশালা কুলচা ও মটন ভুনা গোস্ত। মশালা কূলচা টা একদম দারুন ছিলো, তবে মটনটা আমার একটু শক্ত মনে হয়েছে আর একটু সেদ্ধ হলে ভালো হতো।
ভেতরের পরিবেশ খুবই ভালো। খাবারের স্বাদ ঠিকঠাক। এই রেস্তোরাঁ কে আমি দেবো ৪/৫।
Heard about this restaurant from the localities and last Sunday we went at this place as my cousin invited me for his birthday treat. Never thought that some items will be too good !! Malai Tangri Kebab needs special mention !! Highly Recommended from my side. Corn Salt and Pepper was average !!
In Main Course we ordered Veg Dum Pulao and Mutton Bhuna gosht. The perfect combination I will say. Both are delicious indeed. If you go for Mutton Bhuna gosht must order Dum pulao for the suitable combination.
In Mocktails we ordered Strawberry blossom which was great too.
The ambience was moderate.

How do you pen down an experience that's more of a nostalgia rather than a systematic review?
You write from the heart of course! And that's how I'm going to start my tryst with this gem of an eating house.
It's a moment of joy for people of Sodepur, as Delicious Taverna has made its way into their neighborhood promising a wonderful dining experience thereafter. I can surely vouch for that having been there myself.
Being a resident of South Kolkata for the most part of my life, I never really got to explore the eateries or cafés around North Kolkata and beyond. So traveling all the way to Sodepur for a wholesome lunch definitely sparked memories of my early childhood which I spent in the nearby areas. It was definitely a walk down the memory lane!
Now, this hidden abode of delicious food is carefully located on the main road (Amravati More), opposite to Domino's. The entrance might not come off as all that extravagant at a glance, but you take a step inside the small alley that leads to the inside, and a surprise should be waiting for you. Soft fairy light bulbs and a rustic wooden decor impresses big time.
Their menu is quite the stunner, housing a variety of dishes from more than one cuisine and it might leave you feeling spoiled for choices. But fret not, I'll help in that regard. These are the absolute must haves as I found out :
Start off with some of their best starters such as -
• Corn Salt & Pepper - Crispy corn tossed with subtle spices and served on a crunchy papad. This is just the appetizer to start a good meal.
• Malai Tangri Kebab - This right here deserves special mention! Abundantly marinated with reshmi masala, and generously topped with creamy malai, this is a Kebab of dreams. Must must try!
Moving on to the heavier part:
• Steamed fish in Chilli orange sauce - The balance of flavours is spot on with the soft fish adding to the much needed warmth. A wonderful oriental dish to team with Singapore Meifoon or Hakka noodles.
• Chicken Massaman Curry - sort of a dhaniya chicken, but even better. This indian chicken dish will surprise you with its tricky taste. Recommended for sure! Team with their fragrant Dum Pulao.
As they say, there's always room for dessert....
Darsaan with ice cream is an evergreen combination that never fails to impress after a fulfilling feast.
Also, you can cool your tastebuds in between with the amazing range of mocktails they offer. I tried Strawberry Blossom and Virgin Mojito. Both were well made and quite refreshing.
All's well that ends well. And with this I ended my visit to this blooming new place that will surely make its mark in the Sodepur area in the upcoming days.

Delicious Taverna - After i had my google research i came to know that taverna actually means a greek restaurant or cafe and they serve pretty delicious food so that the name totally justify this place.
If it is sound interesting to you , just hop onto the main thing which is my overall experience -
Now This place is located at amrabati sodepur , opposite of dominos/Bata , few minutes from sodepur railway station.
Few days back i was there for lunch with my few buddies. The entrance was quite narrow and dark but the ambiance of the place was really impressive and feel like themed decor. They can accommodate 30+ people at a time.
As soon as we landed there we ordered virgin mojito for refreshing our mind and for kick start our taste buds for upcoming goodness.
In starters we had -
🔹Shredded Chicken with chilli garlic sauce - In china , this shredded pork with garlic sauce is quite famous but here in india chicken is more widely used. This dish is not as spicy as it looks but yes it was very delicious , the chicken pieces were very tender and well cooked.
🔹Malai Tangdi Kebab - The traditional tangdi kebab topped with malai. This preparation is tastes almost same like the traditional one but little sweeter side which we didn't like. We prefer that traditional tastes more. what i like the most about this dish was the quantity. It comes with 4 pcs of huge pieces of tangdi.
In main course we had -
🔹Singapore Meifun Noodles - It looks very thin and basically rice noodle made of singapore stir fried style. It tastes nice and very light. it goes perfectly with chilli chicken or any fish.
🔹Streamed Fish in spicy orange sauce - We had this with the meifun noodle. A must try dish for sure cause the fish was perfectly cooked , juicy and fresh. specially the gravy was very flavorful but as the name suggest - the dish was not that spicy though.
Now its time for everyone's favorite part - I mean DESERTS -
in desert we had -
🔹Darshan With Ice Cream - a well known desert for all chinese lovers out there. This dish can never go wrong. it was a great desert for ending our lunch.
Overall the place was quite well decorated , the staffs were very friendly , food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was stunning too. I recommended to all nearby people and Don't miss out this hidden gem.

Ambience - A good dine in place which is beautifully decorated and which serves some lip smacking food. The place itself justifies the name. Courteous and well behaved staffs. Seating capacity is almost for 25/30 people.
Some of the dishes which I personally liked -
1. Malai Tangri Kebab - This was the show stopper. Perfectly cooked tender chicken with malai on the top. Tastes best when served hot.
2. Steamed Fish in spicy orange sauce - A perfect combination of spices and tangy flavour of oranges. An absolute delicious item it was.
3. Singapore Meifun Noodles - Stir fried rice vermicelli/noodles seasoned with vegetables, chickens, prawns. This tastes amazing.
4. Darshan with ice cream - I liked their dessert. Honeyed noodles with ice cream. The sweetness was perfect neither too much nor much less.

Taverna means a Greek themed cafe, and when it serves super delicious food at affordable rate it's suppose to call as Delicious Taverna. I must say it perfectly explains its name by giving delicious food to all people of sodepur...
It's located at Amarabati, sodepur, just opposite to the dominos. A few minutes walk from sodepur station, and you easily find this restaurant.
Couple of days ago I had been to this cafe with my few friends... I really liked the ambience.There also had a banquet for any kind party to celebrate.
Let's come to the main part:
We ordered strawberry blossom, it was really good in taste. The balance of sweetness was just perfect and the flavors was perfectly merged to this mocktail
From the starter section we were served
Malai tangdi kebab and shredded chicken with garlic sauce - Malai tangdi was so delicious.Big chicken leg piece was served having malai topped on it. The taste of this kebab was so good but i really liked this kebab without malai because somehow malai was too sweet for me wd this kebab so second time when we ordered again one plate kebab we took it without malai. But it totally depends on tastebud.
Shredded chicken with chilli garlic sauce-Thick shredded chicken pieces Were simply lipsmacking. Very well cooked with right amount of spices and onion, capsicum and belt papers.
Corn and salt paper- it was something very crunchy and super delicious. The fried corn with masala was different and definitely gives you a different taste in your taste bud.
Paneer Tikka- small cube of paneer was served along with capsicum and tomato. I really liked the presentation of their food.
In main course:
Mutton bhuna ghost and vegetable Dum pulao:
6 to 8 boneless mutton pieces were served, which was perfect with pulao. Mutton pieces were soft but taste was average to me. Not too bad not too good.
But starter was worth mentioning . If you ever come here please try out their these few items
Foodie session cannot be completed without ice cream
So we ordered one darshan ice cream. It was simply yummy.. Ice cream is my all time favorite and if it's served with darsaan then yess it's quite obvious that it will be simply yummy.

Delicious taverna is the hidden gem of Sodepur. Its nice and cozy. The decor and lights give you a calm and soothing atmosphere, well that's the characteristics of a taverna.
We tried strawberry blossom , a rich milkshake bursting into flavors.It had great positive impact on our appetite.
For starters, we ordered MALAI TANGRI KABAB, it was really a gem. A juicy , succulent leg piece of chicken, covered with a thick coating of Malai,and a cherry on top. It tasted like heaven. It's a must try.
Next we had SHREDDED CHICKEN WITH CHILLI GARLIC SAUCE. Though it was from chinese cuisine, it amazed us with its delightful flavors. Not only for its taste, it also had a very colorful visual of various bell peppers and other veggies.
Now coming to main course, we tried both Indian and Chineese cuisine.
We ordered MUTTON BHUNA GOSHT along with VEGETABLE DUM PULAO. The bhuna gosht was something to crave for. Tender and well marinaded mutton pieces with friend onions on top made it an absolute masterpiece. The Vegetable Pulao, on the other hand, balanced the rich flavor of the Entrée.
In Chinese, we had SINGAPORE MEIFOON NOODLES, DELICIOUS SPECIAL HAKKA NOODLES and STEAMED FISH IN SPICY ORANGE SAUCE.
The steamed fish is my personal favorite. They literally felt like cotton candy , soft and succulent. The right balance of spice along with the sweetness of orange gave the dish its superpower to indulge yourself into it completely. Meifoon noodles and hakka noodles were absolutely perfect. They were perfectly boiled, spiced and ready to go with the spice of the gravy.
No meal is complete without a delicious dessert.
We had Darsaan with valina Ice cream. Darsaan is something i love, and i had a lot of it,along with the ice cream obviously.
If you're around Sodepur,never miss a chance to visit this den, you'll definitely cherish like me.

Delicious taverna really does justice to their name as they serve delicious food.
Location: This is located at Amrabati more, Sodepur. If you're coming via local train, get down at Sodepur station then from platform no 4 you'll get auto towards this place.
Ambience: Ambience is cozy, 40-45 people cam be accomodated at a time. Perfect to have family dinner/lunch.
Now coming to the main part we started our meal with refreshing Virgin mojito and strawberry blossom. The strawberry smoothie was thick in consistency just the way it should be.
Next as starter we tried Shredded chicke- I've to say it was one of my favourite. There were adequate amount of chicken marinated in chilli garlic sauce with lots of chopped salad. Chicken was tender, absolutely mouth watering that we had to order twice.
Then we took paneer tikka: it was chopped in a big cubical shape served with papad and salad. All paneer lovers are gonna love it.
Next in the main course we had Vegetable dum polao along with mutton bhuna ghost. Polao contained lots of kaju & kismis and it smelled amazing. Quantity was enough for two. And what do I say about mutton 😋. It had perfect amount of spice also it was super soft.
Next we had vegetable garden fish fried rice accompanied by steamed fish in spicy orange sauce. There were eight pieces of fish combiened with orange, capsicum, onion. The preparation was something I never tried before.
No matter how much you eat, there is a always room for dessert. We took darshan with ice cream. The presentaion looked amazing as well as tasted delicious.
The waiters are courteous, also I'm so happy with their service. So I'll definitely recommend this place to the people of Sodepur. Would like to visit again and try their other dishes. 😋😋

Malai tangri kabab is probably one of the best kabab i have ever eaten in my entire life.the malai and the kabab was a great mixture and that tasted amazingly good.
Mutton Bhunaghost was a perfect pair of pulao.
And lastly in dessert Darshan was amazing.I must say it was quite unexpected to have such amazing darshan in a restaurant in north kolkata.

Marinated with lime juice and salt baked into perfection served with a creamy marination and pudina chutney!
Steamed fish with spicy Orange Curry-This dish is an experimental one scattered over some ginger and veggies with fresh orange pieces and steamed fish tastes best with thier pulao the fruity flavour is a must try!
Mutton bhuna ghost- Mutton a cult for every Bengali!! Mutton cooked in Onion based gravey and spiced goes good with their pulao or fried rice!
Vegetable garden fresh pulao-prepared with fresh quality spices and basmati rice cooked with fresh herbs and veggies a must try if you ever visit!
Over all the experience was good ambience was up to the mark with a lot of hanging dim lights to lit up some one's mood can accommodate upto 30 people's at one session!!

Steamed fish in spicy orange sauce: This was the showstopper dish. The gravy was absolutely amazing. The orange flavor with the spices created a really complex plethora of flavors.
Vegetable Dum Pulao: This was more on the lines of Kashmiri pulao with loads of canned fruits.
Mutton Bhunaghost: A great spicy dish to pair with the fruity pulao.
Dhania Chicken: The dhania flavor was great but wasn’t overpowering the dish.
Masala kulcha: A perfect accompaniment for the dhania chicken.
Dessert-
Darshan with ice cream: A simple dessert which not everyone is able to hone. Well, this place definitely has. The darshan was crisp fried with a drizzle of caramel and chocolate sauce and the scoop of ice-cream was also big.
Overall I loved the food. The decor is pretty modern. The staff is courteous. The place is a bit congested but the food definitely makes up for it. They also have a banquet hall for parties.

📍Shredded chicken with chilli garlic
sauce — Everywhere I had this dish, they have a hard layer of flour outside and if it gets cold chicken gets chewy. But I’ve had it best here. They served only shredded chicken pieces without any flour coat. Sauce was amazing and chicken was very moist and soft.
📍Mutton Bhunaghost — Second favourite would be this mutton dish. It was literally falling apart. Cooked till perfection. Gravy wasn’t too spicy, and the best part, I got a piece with mutton fat, made my day.
📍Steamed fish in spicy orange sauce — This dish was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. They served it with oranges. I loved the gravy. Fish was very fresh and soft. It’d give your taste buds burst of flavours.
▪️ This is a great place for great food at affordable price range. Quantity and quality are totally doing justice with the price they kept. Please visit with your friends and family.

A restaurant in sodepur is serving so much best quality foods that I don't know....suddenly one day when I was going through the restaurant in zomato suddenly I found this restaurant having 4.1 star....I was stunned by seeing that I have never noticed it...so I went for diner...and ordered mutton biriyani...the biriyani was so good cooked and the meat is also properly boiled...that it just melts it in the mouth...and the rice is delicious,the spices are also damn good....so I will suggest everyone...to try this restaurant food.....😊

They serve the best starters.. I have tried so many starters from this particular restaurant and I tolally loved those.. Their chinese fish starters and kebabs from Indian menu items are amazing.. the rice and the noodles are good. Excellent place for family, friends get-together. This restaurant serves over 25 years ( approx ). Food quality and quantity is also very well. Atmosphere is very cool. I love 💕 and like this place
The most important thing which I liked about this restaurant is the ambience. Colors are light and it will feel you like a home. Perfect place for couples to have a lunch or dinner. Price is a little bit expensive but when compared to the quality and quantity they are giving we can consider it as okay. I came here with my friend for lunch and we have really enjoyed a lot. The service here is worth mentioning. We all know nowadays customer satisfaction does matter and they took care of that. We ordered Mixed noodles and Chilly chicken dry. The amount is sufficient for both of us, and the tastes are good particularly chilly chicken dry is really crispy here which I particularly like the most. Overall an evening well spent

First time tasted some Delicious broccoli dish with Malai and had with no ignorance on next one. Great place with great delicious spread with full of enlighting environment all over. Delicious Taverna
Location - A-43/A, Amrabati, Barasat Road, Sodepur, Kolkata
Ambience - A good dine in place which is beautifully decorated and which serves some lip smacking food. The place itself justifies the name. Courteous and well behaved staffs. Seating capacity is almost for 25/30 people.
Some of the dishes which I personally liked -
1. Malai Tangri Kebab - This was the show stopper. Perfectly cooked tender chicken with malai on the top. Tastes best when served hot.
2. Steamed Fish in spicy orange sauce - A perfect combination of spices and tangy flavour of oranges. An absolute delicious item it was.
3. Singapore Meifun Noodles - Stir fried rice vermicelli/noodles seasoned with vegetables, chickens, prawns. This tastes amazing.
4. Darshan with ice cream - I liked their dessert. Honeyed noodles with ice cream. The sweetness was perfect neither too much nor much less.

Went there some a some days ago..This place is located at 10 mins walking distance from sodepur station.
The ambiance was pretty cool ..On entering you will find some wooden log styled stool and some chair ..Inside along with the entrance area was beautifully decorated with lights.
Now coming to the food I can say it's totally fantastic..

How do you pen down an experience that's more of a nostalgia rather than a systematic review?
You write from the heart of course! And that's how I'm going to start my tryst with this gem of an eating house.
It's a moment of joy for people of Sodepur, as Delicious Taverna has made its way into their neighborhood promising a wonderful dining experience thereafter. I can surely vouch for that having been there myself.
Being a resident of South Kolkata for the most part of my life, I never really got to explore the eateries or cafés around North Kolkata and beyond. So traveling all the way to Sodepur for a wholesome lunch definitely sparked memories of my early childhood which I spent in the nearby areas. It was definitely a walk down the memory lane!
Now, this hidden abode of delicious food is carefully located on the main road (Amravati More), opposite to Domino's. The entrance might not come off as all that extravagant at a glance, but you take a step inside the small alley that leads to the inside, and a surprise should be waiting for you. Soft fairy light bulbs and a rustic wooden decor impresses big time.
Their menu is quite the stunner, housing a variety of dishes from more than one cuisine and it might leave you feeling spoiled for choices. But fret not, I'll help in that regard. These are the absolute must haves as I found out :
Start off with some of their best starters such as -
• Corn Salt & Pepper - Crispy corn tossed with subtle spices and served on a crunchy papad. This is just the appetizer to start a good meal.
• Malai Tangri Kebab - This right here deserves special mention! Abundantly marinated with reshmi masala, and generously topped with creamy malai, this is a Kebab of dreams. Must must try!
Moving on to the heavier part:
• Steamed fish in Chilli orange sauce - The balance of flavours is spot on with the soft fish adding to the much needed warmth. A wonderful oriental dish to team with Singapore Meifoon or Hakka noodles.
• Chicken Massaman Curry - sort of a dhaniya chicken, but even better. This indian chicken dish will surprise you with its tricky taste. Recommended for sure! Team with their fragrant Dum Pulao.
As they say, there's always room for dessert....
Darsaan with ice cream is an evergreen combination that never fails to impress after a fulfilling feast.
Also, you can cool your tastebuds in between with the amazing range of mocktails they offer. I tried Strawberry Blossom and Virgin Mojito. Both were well made and quite refreshing.
All's well that ends well. And with this I ended my visit to this blooming new place that will surely make its mark in the Sodepur area in the upcoming days.
Lip smacking delicacies. And a wonderful fine dining experience in Sodepur proximity. Loved everything about the food and the employee etiquette. The ambience, the decor, the seating, very artistic and impressive. Might be one of the best hangouts in Sodepur. The price is slightly high but the portion, the taste everything cut out just perfect. A must visit.

Last sunday on the occasion of Tanmay Basak 's birthday we visited DELICIOUS TAVERNA.The choice was absolutely amazing.The food,the ambience,location,the behaviour of the staffs,everything was awesome.I must say that this restaurent can give a tough competetion to any restaurant in proper kolkata.

Among all these items all the items were extremely tasty and well decorated.But there are few dishes that was quite amazing and elegant.
firstly i would like to say about the strawberry blossom.The taste was amazing.The flavor was quite prominent.
Next the Shredded chicken with chilli garlic sauce was another amazing creation by chef.
Malai tangri kabab is probably one of the best kabab i have ever eaten in my entire life.the malai and the kabab was a great mixture and that tasted amazingly good.
Mutton Bhunaghost was a perfect pair of pulao.
And lastly in dessert Darshan was amazing.I must say it was quite unexpected to have such amazing darshan in a restaurant in north kolkata.
This restaurant undoubtedly is one of it's kind! Which provides lip-smacking and palatable dishes at a moderately higher price. The foods are fresh and can be chosen from a whooping number of food items in the menu list. Every plates are being ardently served with flavour-packed foods, which would indubitably make you crave for more but the Cocktails and the Schezwan Noodles are below par. Nevertheless, the ambience provides for a wholesome nostalgic experience and the behavior of the staffs must receive for an appreciation of praise.

Delicious Taverna - After i had my google research i came to know that taverna actually means a greek restaurant or cafe and they serve pretty delicious food so that the name totally justify this place.
If it is sound interesting to you , just hop onto the main thing which is my overall experience -
Now This place is located at amrabati sodepur , opposite of dominos/Bata , few minutes from sodepur railway station.
Few days back i was there for lunch with my few buddies. The entrance was quite narrow and dark but the ambiance of the place was really impressive and feel like themed decor. They can accommodate 30+ people at a time.
As soon as we landed there we ordered virgin mojito for refreshing our mind and for kick start our taste buds for upcoming goodness.
In starters we had -
🔹Shredded Chicken with chilli garlic sauce - In china , this shredded pork with garlic sauce is quite famous but here in india chicken is more widely used. This dish is not as spicy as it looks but yes it was very delicious , the chicken pieces were very tender and well cooked.
🔹Malai Tangdi Kebab - The traditional tangdi kebab topped with malai. This preparation is tastes almost same like the traditional one but little sweeter side which we didn't like. We prefer that traditional tastes more. what i like the most about this dish was the quantity. It comes with 4 pcs of huge pieces of tangdi.
In main course we had -
🔹Singapore Meifun Noodles - It looks very thin and basically rice noodle made of singapore stir fried style. It tastes nice and very light. it goes perfectly with chilli chicken or any fish.
🔹Streamed Fish in spicy orange sauce - We had this with the meifun noodle. A must try dish for sure cause the fish was perfectly cooked , juicy and fresh. specially the gravy was very flavorful but as the name suggest - the dish was not that spicy though.
Now its time for everyone's favorite part - I mean DESERTS -
in desert we had -
🔹Darshaan With Ice Cream - a well known desert for all chinese lovers out there. This dish can never go wrong. it was a great desert for ending our lunch.
Overall the place was quite well decorated , the staffs were very friendly , food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was stunning too. I recommended to all nearby people and Don't miss out this hidden gem.

Delicious teverna is located bear sodpur and it is close to sodpur station. It is a awesome restaurant and the foods are very good to taste as well as they serve it very nicely. I have visited it a few days back and had a very good experience i have ordered Broccoli Cheese, Chicken Singapore, Fish Fry, Singapore noodles, Lemon Chicken, Thai Red sauce chicken, Kashmiri polao, chicken tikka masala and pineapple pudding. All the dish were very tasty and the service was remarkable. I enjoyed the visit and the food. I would recommend everyone to visit here and you would surely like the experience and would visit again.
I went to delicious taverna for dinner which is located near sodepur station towards madhyamgram, just opposite of domino's. Let's come to the food. The quality of food was soo good. I really love all items specially I love nan Nd mutton. The place and the staffs were very good. All items were very tasty. A recommended restaurant.

The ambience is quite comfy and soothing and the hospitality was perfect even during the time of puja when i visited. The food was amazing and delicious. I must recommend all my friends to visit here as well.
