I've been taking home delivery from this restaurant very frequently and it's Biryani each time, cause they make it really well. It's light(easily digestible) and not very scented. So people who don't like that scent in biryani will like it. đ

This is located at sinthi more.. the place is very small and the ambiance is okayish.. But food was great and quantity was also nice. I love their chinese dishes. Ordered schezwan chicken, chilli chicken, butter naan, veg fried rice, gravy chow and chicken birriyani.. birriyani was good in taste and the size of the naan was huge i think 1 naan is enough for 1 person.. but i didnt like the veg fried rice its low in taste.. but overall its a nice experience.
We ordered mutton biriyani.The meat tender and juicy.It was the worth the price.Though the space was small.Mother tried fried rice and garlic chicken.The juicy curry was delicious.

1.Mixed gravy noodles - which is enough for 2 person according to me. It was full of chicken and prawns. The taste of noodles was also very delicious. I loved the gravy noodles most.
2.veg fried rice-it was OK for me. I would love to give this dish an average tag because there was nothing wow on that particular rice.
3.chilli chicken-the chicken was coated perfectly and was fried enough. The sauce was well cooked and mixed with all vegetables. The chicken pieces were enough large

A quiet and quaint little place that you wouldn't even notice if you weren't looking for it, Capnil's kitchen manages to toe the line between fame and anonymity quite brilliantly. The owners always try to be their kindest selves, and while there is still room for improvement in the food department, their quality has not deteriorated for the past 10 years that I have gone there. Located at Sinthi more this place provides good food which is quite pocket friendly. Though the place is a bit stuffy but is nicely decorated and maintained well. The quantity of food served made me quite impressed. We ordered crispy dragon chicken, chicken sizzler, chicken kebab,mixed fried rice, mutton do pyaza, chilli chicken and butter nun. The sizzler and the nun were not at all good. Overrall its a nice place to dine in.
This is truly a hidden gem, one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. The decor and aura may not be very appeasing but one comes back to this place for the taste. We ordered Chicken drumsticks, sweet and chilly babycorn,Hot and sour soup, Mixed fried rice, Schezwan noodles, Chicken munchurian and Garlic chicken. The taste and money was totally on point. Extremely warm and hospitable waiters and staff.
Capnil kitchen has been close to my heart since childhood. If there were decimals I'd rate this place 4.5 for food alone. I won't rate them on decor or ambience because the food is mostly home delivered. But. Yes there's a substantial But to this review. Capnil should amp up the game by becoming a technology friendly restaurant. Though it's there on Zomato, I don't understand why they don't accept online orders or payments. That's all they need to work on. For the rest, they're spot on and the food is wow every time.
This this a hidden gem! If you are one of those who is fond of well-decored lavish dine freak this is definitely not your place but if you can be humble enough to embress a simple decor, definily good food well behaved staffs and very pocket friendly restaurant then this is your destination!
It's here since, ages, perhaps. Probably, the most popular restaurant in the area. Nothing pompous, only good food is what they are offering for two decades now.
The narrow lane, the parking issues all gets dissolved when you start with the food. Staff, they are really courteous.
When you get such good foods, served with care in your neighborhood, what else do you care for...!

Well, finding good restaurants in North Kolkata is a tough job. And this job was well accomplished by finding this place. We ordered:
Mixed Haka Noodles: The amount of meat given was really more than enough. The noodle wasn't very oily which I really liked. The taste was also good.
Chilly Garlic Chicken: This was a perfect accompaniment with the noodles. The gravy wasn't too hot or spicy. And the chicken was cooked nicely.
Overall a really good experience. It's a small place but it's tidy. I would like to try out their other dishes too. An unplanned but good Saturday brunch, isn't it Subhadeep Dev?

I have been here only once but the place is a hidden gem for non veg lovers. I just went for a casual lunch at late afternoon and the place was completely empty. The staff was very courteous and recommended us the best dishes. Finally, we settled for Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Roti and Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala.
Chicken Biryani -
Aroma was really nice, less spicy and the quality of the rice was also good but was little bit oily. The quantity was enough for 2 people. 1 pc of Egg, Potato and Chicken each was present alongside. Chicken pc was big and was soft (not juicy). One of the best Biryani I have ever tasted.
Tandoori Roti -
The bread was very fluffy and soft (not like any normal tandoori roti). It was cooked perfectly and tasted sweet and one can eat roti without anything.
Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala -
The best chicken dish I have ever had and there is no doubt. The gravy was very creamy and with least spices. Oil was little bit more than required. Chicken was not so soft but with the gravy, it just literally melted inside the mouth. The quantity was lesser compared to the price. I highly recommend this dish.
Staff was very good and prompt. The place is small but cozy. AC were working and the dim lights were providing nice and quiet ambiance. Cleanliness was also good. A good pocket friendly place with quality and variety of dishes.
One of my favorite restaurant in my locality, I will recommend highly their Chinese, but you can also go for Biryani it was just damn mouthwatering

I have been there n number of times specially for chineses dishes. Very well behaved old staffs are always ready to greet you with smile. You may try delicious soups and gravy noodles.
This is one of a decent restaurant in our locality.. went there 100 times.. the place is very small.. ambience is okay.. I love their chinese dishes.. even they used to serve only chinese food before.. later they have added some Indian items in their menu.. Biryani is also good here.. I almost tried their all dishes.. Crispy chicken, Julien chicken, Chicken lolypop, Thai soup, Tiger prawn fried, Fish fingers are my favourites in starters.. Fried rice, Noodles, Chilli chicken, Schezwan chicken and other chinese side dishes are also decent.. I didn't like their Indian dishes.. so I will recommend for their chinese dishes and Biryani..
One of my favourites in my locality. They serve both mughlai and chinese cuisine but I will recommend to try their chinese. I have tried almost all of their chinese items and I would say it has never disappointed me. Both the quality and quantity of food is very good. Their best preparation is schezwan chicken. They have such a popularity in our locality that the biriyani they cook only lasts for 1 hour only due to the demand.
This one is one of the oldest restaurants of Sinthee area.Initially they used to serve a very few numbers of basic Chinese dishes viz,chilly fish,Manchurian chicken,hakka chowmein etc.But that didn't prevent people to come here on and off.A few years back some new Chinese and Indian items were included in their Chef's list.
One thing must be spelt out clearly,it is wise to take parcels home,as sitting arrangements are not that much comfortable.
But then,they make it up with brilliant food.They use fresh meats and vegetables and serve in such a quantity which I have never found anything to complain about.
A little tough to locate amidst all the stalls in the market place,better to ask any local man.
Prices are surprisingly nominal compared to the quality of foods.On weekends to manage a seat here is really very tough.

This place is a decent restaurant for Chinese and they serve food of really good quality.. I love the chicken lollipop they make. It's very spicy and tangy.. Their hot and sour soup is amazing.. And fish fries and cutlets are also worth giving a try
capnil comes with good Chinese food within budget.. it has a very cosy ambience, the sitting arrangements are clean and proper though the restaurant is not spacious at all.. it has got a very small place.. the delivery section is fast.. the staffs are polite and chicken lollipop is a must try..

The reason for me scoring it is so high is the quality and quantity it has mainted over decades. It serves one of the best Mixed Gravy Chow and an unique dish nowhere to be found in Kolkata.. Julian Chicken/Fish..being it's USP. It is the oldest Chinese restaurant in sinthee and always quenched our thrirst for Chinese since our childhood days when there was no Mainland China or Chowman. It is a bit hard to locate as it present inside a small Sinthee market but it will never disappoint you. They have started to deliver now. If people around these area or anyone passing by are thinking to have Chinese ..give it a go and let me know in the comments what do you feel about JULIAN CHICKEN.. I can bet you can't just have it once
It's really wonderful. Food quality is very good. I often come here for dinner. I even get home delivery from Capnil. Wish you all the best! But only thing the restaurant needs to get better is the preparation of schezwan dishes. Other dishes are fantastic. Thank you!

This place is absolute love. I usually order the mutton biryani here... visit there on weekday afternoon they serve plenty of rice potato and an awesome piece of mutton with basic salad enough for two.....

Their food is yummy . Proper hygiene is maintained. All the Chinese side dishes taste the same so better to order the classic chilli chicken rather than the other fancy dishes because the others might cost more but taste the same as chilli chicken.

This is a very popular restaurant in Sinthee area and is located opposite Sinthee fairground. Food quantity is enough for two people and is also very tasty. Service is very good and staffs are friendly. Well the space is little less but I thoroughly enjoyed the ambience here
They have an excellent cook who happens to cook really nice noodle in this part of the city. Located at the extreme North of Kolkata, just beside the Sinthee more bus stop, it's a cozy little restaurant serving some really nice and pocket-friendly food. All their prices are inclusive of taxes.
P.S :- All their servings are sufficient for two people at least.

Ordered chilly paneer today.........Overall good but need to make it little dry.........as from other reviews I didn't find that quantity is good according to price as food is costly according to location.
An awesome restaurant serves so tasty food. we ordered chicken lolipop(crispy and juicy), fried rice (better),and hot garlic chiken (it was a bit oily but tastes good)
Perfect and reasonable. Though the space is small, but still the ambience is too good. Have some well behaved staffs over there.

Food quality :- Dragon crispy chicken was bit hard it over fried so it could be more soft.... Mixed fried rice tasted awesomeđđ and prawns were well dressed đ chicken manchurian loved it ââ chicken was soft...schezwan fish the perfect fish dish.....though i dont try fish outside but here i simply loved the quality of fish and the dish too
Its just a suggestion that they can improve their decor a bit which would improve their image

A tiny place with less focus on decor but offers yummy food. Just beside the Sinthee fair ground, this place also gives you value for money. The Dragon Crispy Chicken & Chicken Prawn Chowmein were simply too good.
Gravy chicken noodles was ... decent ! Tasty.. amount was also quite decent. You can say its 70% worth the money !! May not be too popular due its location. But with few improvements in the quality and taste it can be a huge success. But unfortunately not really satisfied with the chilly chicken.. 3 on 5 for the chilli chicken..Chandrim Saha
Within the locality the restaurant is quite good. Their gravy chowmien is not good..they serve just a thin consistency chilli chicken gravy for gravy chowmien. But do try their mixed fried rice and chicken side dishes. Amount served is huge enough for two person. Their crispy chilli babycorn is very well prepared

I have been eating here since I was 4yrs..and always loved it...they serve the yummiest mix gravy noodles..n crispy chicken..n hot and sour soup...the amount is sumptuous, and always filling...though a few days ago I had chilli chicken ,which is a remarkable dish served by Capnil,but don't know why it didn't appeal to me as it always did..it was tasteless..was a bit disappointed, but that won't stop me from going there the next time.
Well behaved staff with good food. The only problem lies here is they cannot maintain their food quality when its crowded or specially during festive season. Famous for their chinese and elegant sea food dishes.
Far far better than branded places like chowman, buddha bites. Quality quantity is good..price is also very reasonable. Never put ajinomoto.

It is a very affordable place to go. They have the best Chinese near the sinthirmore area at a very cheap rate. This is my 100th time here I guess đ. Had mutton masala and butter naan. It was really good in taste. Sorry, forget to click pictures. Next time I will definitely click some to upload.

Capnil Kitchen is located just a minute walk away from Sinthi more Crossing. One of my favourite restaurant and my go to place. The food, the staff behaviour, the quality, the quantity, the ambience. Everything is best. The rates are very reasonable. And i can assure everybody that the best chilli chicken in the town are prepared here:)
Good food at low prices. Small decorated clean restaurant. Must try mutton biryani here. They also have very good Chinese food.
Visiting last Sunday with my sister. We ordered mixed gravy chowmien and dry chilli chicken. The food quality they served is awesome. Highly recommended.
Capnil is the best restaurant in Baranagar and Sinthi More area. The service and the food was awesome, the staffs were very polite and humble. This is the why I had given them 5 stars.

A very wonderful restaurant in sinthee more (opposite SINTHEE circus moidan).if you stand in SINTHEE MORE crossing (face towards Dunlop ,it's your left ). Ambience is good. Foods are very good in taste as well as quality wise very enough. I have heard about this place a lot . I'm visiting this place from 2015 till now . Service is fast . All the staff members are very polite and well behaved. I would suggest mutton biriyani and chicken lollipop . If you never taste those here I recommend everyone to try that out.
I am not giving them 5 star because of the price of the food, it's not possible to pay for a normal middle class family everyday take out or dine in neither delivery.
one of the renowned restaurant near sinthi more, food quality is good, and quantity of any item is totally worth for money.. complete hygiene is maintained, I tried chinese item and snacks here. So in the list of evening snacks chicken lollipop is great and the soup is also good
