I am an old customer of this restaurant but
recently dined here with family , and it was an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the elegant ambiance and attentive staff. The menu offered a delightful array of options, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences.
The main course, was the highlight of the evening. The perfectly cooked paire was a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
In conclusion, Lazeez is a culinary gem that combines exquisite food, an inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service. Whether it's a special occasion or a casual night out, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

Lazeez, a Mughlai restaurant in Elgin Road, Kolkata, is a time-honored institution that has been serving up delicious and authentic Indian cuisine for over 30 years. The restaurant is known for its extensive menu of kebabs, biryanis, and other North Indian dishes, all of which are cooked to perfection in the restaurant's wood-fired ovens. Lazeez is also a popular spot for special occasions, thanks to its elegant ambience and attentive service. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a family celebration, Lazeez is the perfect place to enjoy a taste of Kolkata's culinary heritage.
I can't describe how delicious and yummy each and every dish was! Very pleasant ambiance and service was hot and quick. A definitely must try for ones searching in Central kolkata. It's a 5 min walk from Netaji Bhawan metro station.
Good place to have authentic North Indian Mughalai cuisine.
This place had a great balance between good food, average service, and convenient parking. However, the ambiance of the restaurant could have been improved by adding more lighting, especially for those who want to take pictures.
Let's start with the food, the dishes were amazing, and I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The flavors were spot on, and the dishes were well presented. The menu had a wide variety of options to choose from, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of food that was served. We ordered - Chicken Reshmi Kebab, White Mischief large, Absolute small, Sprite, Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chocolate Ice Cream.
Moving on to the service, I would say it was okay. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, but they could have been a bit more proactive in refilling water, and making sure everything was alright with our meal.
The restaurant had its own parking lot, which was very convenient for us. It saved us the hassle of finding a spot to park on the busy streets outside, and we were able to park easily.
However, the one downside to the restaurant was the lighting. The place was a bit too dimly lit, making it a little difficult to take good pictures of the food or the ambiance. Adding more lighting could have really improved the ambiance and made it more comfortable for diners.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its great food, convenient parking, and affordable prices. While the service could be improved, the overall experience was still good. If they could improve the lighting, it would definitely make it a perfect spot for a night out.
This was our first meal in Kolkata and it was excellent in every regard. The staff was very helpful and spoke English (limited). They adjusted the spice level as requested.
In this bar cum restaurant you can see the aesthetic vibe ❤️ service was quick enough and behaviour also very good... Food was delicious too✨
It's a really good place. The ambience is a bit dark which could have been dazzled with a bit more light.
The sizzlers are really awesome. The beverages and soft drinks are not upto the mark in taste. The restaurant overall is neat and clean and well maintained. Location is very good and at the heart of Exide Crossing and just near Rabindra Sadan Metro Station.
This is an old restaurant but the food is too good, especially the diamond fish fry.
The atmosphere felt a bit flat because it was just full of men. No women, I don't know why. That said, the food was very good and very reasonable.
