Visited this place along with my best friend and was quite amazed at the ambience and hygiene of this place! They are conveniently located besides Mani Square, Kankurgachi and are a part of the Visitel hotels!
For starters, we ordered Crispy babycorns – just one word – perfect! Perhaps, one of the best babycorns we ever had – crispy, less spicy, excellent on presentation and very tasty of course – garnished with spring onions!
Since the babycorns served were so huge in quantity, we were literally full after eating it and thus, had no option to go for something very light for the main course – a veg biryani with raita and salads! This was also nice but portion size could have been better! Also, raita was a little bitter – however, the complimentary onion salad, papads and mint chunney made it up for us!
They also served us a complimentary pastry, which was an excellent gesture from the management!
Service is flawless, prices are reasonable (considering that they are a 3 star property and also the excellent experience they provide) and I give them 5 stars, a recommendation and several hugs and re-visits!
Many thanks to the management for maintaining such high standards in the hospitality industry!
Saptami afternoon in search of good food I went to Mani Square, where a bunch of restaurants are present. But in the mood of Durga Puja there were long queue in every other restaurant, also the prices were double to triple than usual.
To ignore the crowd I visited Visitel that is located just a few steps away from Mani Square. Surprisingly this place wasn't crowded and we just walked in and got a table. I found that they were serving the cheapest Bengali Buffet in Durga Puja at only Rs.570 where in other places the range was varying from Rs.900 - 2000.
Ambiance
--------------------
Soul Kitchen has very simple and classy ambiance but with with Dhaker music and simple decoration they extended the experience.
Staffs and Management
--------------------------------------------
Staffs were polite and helpful. Even in these busy days they were professional enough to ask for feedback.
Here's what was present on their special Durga Puja menu...
Welcome Drinks
-------------------------------
Ghol (3.5/5)
Gandhraj Lebur Sarbot (5/5)
Usually buffet at most places comes with only 1 welcome drink but here they served two that also was unlimited. Ghol was quite natural but Gandhraj Lebur Sarbot was just unbelievably good.
Salad, Pickle and Chaat Counter
--------------------------------------------------------
Chutney’s | Kuler Tok | Aamsatta Khejurer Chutney | Amrar Ambal | Plastic Chutney | Aamer Chuney Salads | Green Salad | Fruit Chaat | Aam Kasundi | Cous Cous Salad Yogurt | Tok Doi
Lot's of Chatni and Salads were present to choose, I took Plastic Chutney and Aamsatta Khejurer Chutney with dessert that tasted good.
Pickle, Papad and Bhaja Counter
----------------------------------------------------------
Pickles | Mix pickle | Appalam papad |Chingri Papad | Sabudana Papad | Aloo Papad | Aloo Jhuri Bhaja | Begun Bhaja | Patal Bhaja | Bori Bhaja | Lal Saag Bhaja | Karala Bhaja
Again lots of Papad and fries were present to choose from, I took everyone's favourite Aloo Jhuri Bhaja and Begun Bhaja that tasted really good. But I was seriously missing Luchi with Begun Bhaja that they didn't served.
Starter
----------------
Mochar Chop (3/5)
Kumro Phuler Bora (2.5/5)
Mangsher Chop (4/5)
Gandhraj Fish Tikka (4.5/5)
Fish Tikka was just superb with the punch of Gandharaj Lemon. Pices were big and soft like cotton balls. Mangsher Chop was tasty too but Mochar Chop and Kumro Phuler Bora could've been better.
Main Course
--------------------------
Sada Bhat
Lau Chingri
Bhaja Moong Dal
Aloo Jhinge Posto
Karaishutir Dhokar Dalna
All traditional essential Bengali items tasted like home made.
Thakur Bari Pulao (1/5)
Golbarir Kosha Mangsho (3.5/5)
Kacha Lanka Diye Murgir Jhol (3/5)
Mourala Macher Bati Chorchori (3/5)
Only bad item in this buffet was the Pulao, actually it wasn't really Pulao. They added Beetroot in the Pulao and unfortunately made it taste really bad in place of sweet and aromatic. Mourala Chorchori could've been better. Apart from that Chicken and Mutton both were great.
Dessert selection
---------------------------------
Rasgulla | Sandesh | Patishapta | Misti Doi | Nolen Gurer Ice-Cream Misti Pan
These traditional Bengali desserts were just perfect to end this buffet. Only the Misti Doi was bit spoiled but they changed that instantly when we asked them.
Conclusion
-----------------------
Didn't thought this place would be so good, specially for only Rs.570. Food quality and service was great. Only disappointment was that they didn't served Luchi or any kind of Bread in the buffet that could've made it 5 star.

Lovely food and presentation awesome boutique hotel nice interior great service little bit high price but food quality and quantity both are awesome
This restaurant is located inside Visitel hotel beside Apollo hospital alongside it's sister concern Soul Cafe. The ambience here is simply mind blowing. You can enjoy a lunch buffet at much affordable prices here. There were lot of food items to choose from. The waiters were also very courteous. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would love to visit again.
The place is quite decent and ambience is pretty good and clean.. the staff were attentive & good..♥️ its located in the ground floor of visitel hotel..
Not to forget there are w restaurants below that hotel ...one is Soul cafe & another is Soul kitchen... For soul kitchen,u need to enter their through their main gate(right hand side),and u'll find this amazing restaurant in your left hand side...
Coming to food,i had mixed hakka Noodles & ginger chicken... The noodles were quite ordinary (3/5)... they're charging above 300 rs for it,so i had high expectations.. where as the ginger chicken was absolutely delicious ❤️(5/5)...the chicken pieces were super tender, and the gravy was yuuummm too...😋...
Overall nice experience.👍
The place is super and the location is very easy as it is just opposite of Apollo Nursing Home on bypass. The place has a very versatile good range on the menu and it is really great. The price range is also great and can be considered within the budget.
It has a food range off bith on the bengali food items as well as other versatile food dishes. The service is really wonderful and worth praising.
This place is quite impressive with its simple and sober decoration. I had been there for poila baishak menu launch special event. There were a lot of dishes on the menu list. All were bengali dishes. The item which i liked most was thakur barir pulao.
Overall i liked all the foods which were being served on the buffet.
Visited at this place called Visitel or Soul Kitchen, along with my friends few days ago. I had really a very good experience there.
Firstly the ambience, it's literally just awesome. Views and decorations were so nice.
Secondly telling about the staffs, they were so humble and cooperative.
Now coming to the food experience that matters the most. In starters we had Murg Malai Tikka and Murg Hariyali Tikka. Both were so nicely presented and tasty.
Then we went for the main course. We had Dum Murgh Biryani and Mutton Biryani. We all were totally satisfied with the Quantity and Quality of both items.
Then lastly we tasted Fried Papad and Card. The card tastes so well.
I am really satisfied with overall experience. Hope they will continue their good service in future. Thank you.
Very good place for buffet.Quantity and quality both were perfect.Staffs are well behaved and the management system is also fine. The decoration attracts very much.
During Poila Boishak, I went to Soul kitchen.
We opted for the Poila boishak special buffet.
The buffet included all sorts of authentic bengalu foods. The gondhoraj fish tikka was the one that I liked the most.Thakurbari r polao and the mutton was droolicious.
Will be looking forward to meet this place very soon
Went with my sister and few friends on the occasion of Bengali New Year (Poila Boishak) after knowing that they are lauching Poila Boishak special authentic Bengali Buffet.
Firstly I am really moved by the hospitality of the staffs & moreover they are very cooperative as well.
Apart from the menu they also had presentation of Bengali food for the occasion.
Coming to interiors, its very classy and well maintained.
The food was awesome & taste was sublime. Not only the variety of food they also added the stories of each dish which was quite fascinating.
The management of the restaurant were also present there & checked & ensure the guests are comfortable & enjoying the meal. That's a gesture I did appreciate a lot.
Looking forward for more lauches by them.
It was good. A little on the higher side per prices but not that good taste considering price.
Overall a good experience.
Would like to visit again to try other delicacies.
Food is nice and great. But staff have little knowledge of ongoing offers. Overall experience was nice mainly due to the quality and taste of food. Service was a bit slow

Awesome food .... Service was good.. Nice ambience.. Came for the first time to experience Poila Baishakher Bhuribhoj & it was undoubtedly worthy.. A must visit for all food lovers..
Visited this place today itself to try the poila boisakh special lunch buffet which is availabe @Rs. 549 only and i must say that it is one of the most awesome buffets i ever had comprising lip smacking bengali cuisines of all time..The buffet includes the likes of Gondhoraj fish tikka,Mutton Dak Bungalow, Chittagong Masala Murgi, misti doi etc.
I can say many a things about the awesomeness of the food but that would kill the eagerness to visit this place...it is a much recommended place to celebrate this Bengali new year (poila boisakh)

The Breakfast Buffet was really good and reasonable. The juices were refreshing and there were variety of items for one to Suffice for a breakfast.
Visited Soul Kitchen on a weekend and late afternoon for some snacks. Quite spacious and a bit hidden on the ground floor of Visitel Hotel. Staffs were very polite and welcoming.

This is a place where i can visit again n again n again. Well, i visited this resto during the pujas n quite unexpectedly they didn't disappoint us.
Along with timely services and amiable endeavor by the staffs, the visit turned out impressive enough.
Now coming to the core area, food out there is simply awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed their hot garlic Manchurian n german soup. It waw just amazing💕😍. One shall surely try out their kikchi salads, its unique n wont disappoint you for sure.
Bonus dish or probably the best dish- fruit custard...this is one of the best desserts I've had in my life. Please go for it n thank me later.
Ambience 4/5🔥...its highly recommended
What is the menu of Buffet Breakfast which is usually serves? I like to get that information from Soul Kichen as I have visited lot of time when their Buffet Lunch was Rs. 349 (apporx. No remembered) + VAT
I had visited this place few weeks back .The buffet spread for lunch included four season salad, kimchi salad, aloo papri chaat, german soup, egg drop clear soup, hot garlic manchurian, singapore fried rice, paneer lababdar, veg jhalfrezi, plain rice, dal butter fry, nan, macher jhol, chicken kosha, fruit custard and strawberry icecream
Ambience was good, staff were courteous.. food quality was good, tastewise it was average....but can be improved
Soul Kitchen and Soul Cafe are situated at the ground floor of Visitel beside Apollo Gleneagles, EM Bypass.
Soul Kitchen houses a grand dining hall with lavish seating arrangements complemented by both buffet and a-la-carte meal options. While the buffet comes cheap at 499+taxes, a-la-carte items are priced on the higher side, being an upscale diner.
I ordered for
⏺️Stuffed mushroom tandoori
⏺️Fish and chips
Bill was 475+taxes. Both items were cooked to perfection. Staff were courteous.
Writing about Soul Cafe which is an outlet of Visitel Hotel, adjacent to Apollo Glen eagles Hosp.
The ambience is warm and inviting....gave good vibes. The staff are courteous and helpful. They have a good choice of confectionery, though I wish they kept smaller sizes also. Sometimes you don't want to have big pieces, it's too much of an indulgence. The snacks are also varied and good, served hot if necessary. The cappuccino too was good.
Randomly selected through Nearbuy as I was looking for a deal and it made that, the location is fantastic- in the posh area; adjacent to Apollo Hospital. Overall the experience was nice but need more improvements.
good food.
great music.
excellent stuff.
thumbs up.
but they are a lil late in serving.
good place for friends, family.
their buffets starts from 449/- which is a great deal though we do not went for that.
overall a good place to invest...

The ambience is really good. The service is okay types...like it needs to be more prompt. The food was okay. Can be better. Had the Veg pizza, Chicken burger, Hot Brownie and Cappuccino. The cappuccino and the hot brownie were really tasty. But the veg pizza and chicken burger could have been better, and specially served hot. It was served cold. Had them from the soul cafe which is a part of the soul kitchen and is just beside it.
Soul kitchen, the name did attract me a lot.
Good ambience n had a well decorated environment.
Must try out their buffet service (its really satisfying).Starters and deserts were really good. The continental should have been better.
Cost effective n has amiable staffs.
Visited Soul kitchen to try out their lunch buffet. Located on the ground floor of visitel, this restaurant serves very affordable buffets. The interiors are pretty nice. Coming to the food, for starters, they served us baby corn, fried onion pakora and fries fish. The baby corn was amazingly made. For the main course, there were 3 types of salads, tomato soup, rice, naan, a chicken preparation, fish kalia, paneer and veg kofta. All of it was very well made. The tomato soup was the best among all. For the desserts they had shahi tukda and strawberry ice-cream. Overall a must try if you are looking for a pocket friendly buffet.
Grand ambience and nice environment.. crockery sets are eye catching..foods are also very good... specially cream of chicken soup is very delicious...
Had buffet lunch yesterday in this restaurant....It is located just adjacent to Apollo Gleneagles Hospital (EM Bypass), very easy to locate....They are offering Lunch buffet @478 /- including tax, which itself is a special mention. Menu goes like this :- Starters on Table :- Aloo Tikka, Peyanji, Dry Chicken Manchurian, On the Buffet :- One Veg and one Non Veg Soup, Salads, Raita, Butter Naan, Rice, Polao, 2 sabji, Daal Makhani, Panner chatpata, Fish in mustard Sauce and Chicken Kasha, followed by Kheer in Desert and at the end...Vanila Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce.....I really liked all the preparation here. Special mention about the Dry Chicken Manchurian and the Fish Preparation. It was boneless Basa Fish fillet cubed pieces, cooked very nicely with smooth Mustard paste....Chicken in main dish was not that good....but other things like the Kheer and even ICE cream was too good. Ambiance was very nice....though not very spacious, but on a week day, with less pressure, you can enjoy the Lunch buffet for sure....The Quality, Quantity they are serving with the price tag is remarkable.
Been there with friends. Lovely and quiet place with a great ambience. The decoration is classy. The food items is less but nothing more can be expected from a buffet of Rs 400. The chicken starter was good. The veg starters were so-so. The pasta was fine. And the rest of the dishes were just fine. The soup too. Well there are better options for this price too. Well can't expect more.
located right beside APPOLLO HOSPITAL, this place has a grand ambiance. the food is fine. we had ordered thai chicken as the side dish but did not like much. so went for the conventional chilly chicken later. the exquisite crockery sets will indeed draw your attention and give you a lavish feeling.
Finally got opportunity to have a delicious lunch here...this place is just beside Apollo..talking about ambience. .it is really too good..and stuffs are courteous..directly talking about food items..all are very common ones.no thing special..but all preparations are so fresh..starters are chilichicken ..veg Pakora
Main dishes are fried rice..butter nun ..paneer Masala..chicken dopyaja and mutton curry..but here is no fish item.😢😢..atlast deserts are fruit custard and ice cream..
I really prefer this place because the mutton is tooo good...and taste is comparable with 6 bullygaunge place..a nice place..pocket friendly..buffet @ 399+tax =481.rs....recommend to all my zomato friends..thank you...
A relatively new place in Kankurgachi for fine dining, this hotel is located right next to the Apollo Hospitals. Very cool decor and courteous staff - the ambience spells sophistication in ways more than one! The menu has Indian, Indo-chinese, and Continental fare. Here is what I ordered:
1) Cheese Corn Ball - Crunchy on the outside, fabulously warm and gooey on the inside, served with a generous dash of Tartar sauce and Russian salad. Full marks for taste and presentation!
2) Paneer Malai Tikka - A surprisingly creamy twist to the original recipe, this one. Nice!
3) Pudeena Paratha - Crisp and fresh. Not too oily.
4) Masala Kulcha - Open Sesame! This was one of the best that I have had till date - very soft and generously filled (yes, topped with sesame too). Innovative!
5) Dal Tarka - Was not the tarka that I was expecting, rather more of a yellow dal with butter and cumin seasoning. Good, nevertheless!
6) Tawa Veg - Regular stuff, nothing to complain about, but by the time it arrived the bar had been raised, so I was perhaps looking for some more innovation!
Overall, I think its s a fabulous place to dine in and also the pocket pinch is surprisingly low! I paid 1100 for the said order. I also have to mention that I love their burgundy wine glasses but they take up a lot of real estate on the table and are not too easy to handle.
PS - They do not have liquor license as yet. They serve a buffet lunch every day @ 399 + tax. And the hotel too is now fully operational.
Nice ambience...
Good food...
A well place to hang out...
Located just beside of Apollo hospital...
Tried murg malai kebab and murg rezala.. both were tasty
It's located near mani square mall. Its well decorated; ambience is very soothing. Interior is awsm. Service is well appreciated. Very sophisticated place. Had a buffet lunch there with my friend. Cost is very reasonable. There were starters, nun, rice, polao, chcken, mutton, ice creams, mousse, rayta, salads, kababs. It was a grand lunch at soul kitchen. The cost is surprisingly very pocket friendly.
The food quality is good over there.
Specially like there starters. Although the main course offered by them also good. A good place to visit with friends.
I had visited this place for the first time sometime in june last year. I was very much satisfied with the serive, the food quality, the ambience and I felt it was worth the money paid. So with high expectations, I visited this place in 1st January 2017. Well, firstly I was shocked to see the buffet price has been changed to Rs499 excluding taxes which was not mentioned in their site. Then after coming accross the menu,I didnot find it worth the price. The chicken salad was good, kebabs for the buffet was too cold and the pieces were quite small. The rice could have been better cooked and the mutton curry could have been tastier. The menu lacked variety. It was more like the same stuff being presented in a new way. The ambience was no doubt good, the service people were also very friendly. I really dont mind paying for food unless the menu is upto the mark and I feel satisfied.
They really need to work on the buffet menu.
'Soul'ful ambiance. Loved the cutlery set there..
Delicious buffet service(Indian cuisine).
Continental could have been better though.
Quite cost effective I must say!
We visited the restaurant on Christmas day for lunch. Since it would be in high demand so we had already reserved seat. It had a sober ambience, the waiters were well behaved. The food was okay compared to the budget of the buffet.only 299/-.but I think they can improve a bit on the dessert. We had good experience. The best thing I felt there was those wine glasses for drinking water,😄😃😃😄
Soul kitchen, the name is quite comforting i guess. They are a multi cuisine restaurant located near kankurgachi. Place is easily accessible & friendly on pocket
The ambience, decor and surgically water glasses really caught my eye! Very chilled out, laid back, relaxed place. I went along with friends for their lunch buffet @ Rs.399+ taxes.
They did a fantastic starter of bread toast with potato topping and another crispy toast with sesame.. they were wow! The bhajjis were freshly fried and not kept and reheated which is a great point here in a buffet setting.
Main course was average along with desserts.. We ordered for a Bhekti platter in their ala carte menu and the fish was cooked to perfection, to which the tartar sauce was an apt accompaniment.
Do try out their lunch buffets!
Buying Groupon coupon or little app coupon really pays off for this place even a pocket friendly buffet. Excellent ambience, good food, very much spacious, good service. Just one thing that need to be mentioned, rather fixed from the food perspectives. Chicken kebabs with bone are definitely not what you should give. As a matter of fact i have never seen bones in kebabs. Kindly look in to it. Else one of the finest dinning i had going on a Monday dinner to this place. And a special mention to tye aam panna. It was really a fine drink to have.
After a long search for pocket friendly buffet places (yeah, you heard it right 😝 ) on zomato, I found this place and thought to give it a try.So on 6.10.16 went there for lunch. This restaurant is a part of hotel visitel, located just beside Apollo hospital. The décor is decent and stuffs are very courteous.
Now,coming to the food, which is,dah, the main attraction 😜 . They serve a great buffet at only 360/- per head!(including tax) . Taste was also really good.. I specially liked the soup, paneer and vetki curry..
Planning to visit again soon..
Want to satisfy your hungry soul at minimum pocket pinch? Soul kitchen is your option!
With Mani Square completely jam packed , this place saved me on Saptami with their less expensive buffet. Well decorated and with the perfect ambience, this place serves good north Indian food as their buffet menu. Only complain, they were quite slow with their service and the mutton was too salty. Other than that, its been really great. Best part of the menu was Sahi Tukra (a dessert). All in all a must visit.
Great decor! The place gives you a feel good vibe.
Food is fine, quality is appreciable. Pocket friendly!
This is based upon the ala carte menu and not their weekday buffet.
The 299+ taxes buffet is the only trending catch for this place!
Full marks on variety, although food served was cold and we had to repeatedly request to change the same. However, no complains with the taste!
Ambiance - 4.5/5
Food - 3.5/5
Service - 4/5
Lovely ambience.............and not so variable spreads.........overall good for foodies for a break and head in................you need to be more delicate in your menu
This Place was just surprising. even after rave reviews here we tried to visit this place atleast once and surprisingly sunday buffet was good.
The soup wasn't good. the texture was very heavy which the sweet corn soup never is.
The kebabs were too good. well cooked and tasted very well.
Main Course:
Breads: Nan and Rotis were well cooked. not over cooked and burnt whic we are served in many place.
Vegetables: we took the buffet so our options were only to what was provided and trust me .... No Dissapointments. Spice Vegetables and taste good.
Rice & Dal: plain stuff were provided and to my delight (Though afraid at first) they were good.
All in: i would say it was a good experience.
The ambience is simple and the place lit enough for perfect dinner conditions. The waiters were helpfull and the seating comfortable.
The place looked empty though and that was surprising. Because i loved the food
This restaurant in hotel VISITEL is a budget restaurant. I would rate the following-
Food-4/5
Ambience-3/5
Service-5/5
Price-4.5/5
The quality and quantity of food was very good but what it lacked was that some of them was not available. Overall it's very good and a must visit restaurant.
Nice soothing ambience, amazing food very well cooked... Had the kebabs, stuffed mushrooms and Chinese all were waoh... Prices nominal with good quantity to make it complete
The place is quite a good one...it is just beside apollo gleneagles ...the place is well decorated and well lit up...the behaviour of the staff is remarkable...and they offer one of the cheapest buffet in town at rs360 including all taxes....the food is above average...overall 4/5..
Manisquare was all filled up. So went there in a bit of a hurry.. place was quite empty. Ambiance is good..well lit. Good to hangout with your friends or loved one. The food is ok..but the service is dead slow. Had to walk up to the waiter 3 times to get our food. It was turn off. Had to gobble up and leave fast.
After perusing the shops of Mani square mall on a saturday evening, we decided not to go to the food court but to the restaurant next door in the Boutique hotel - Visitel called Soul Kitchen. With zero expectation, we asked the polite servers what they would recommend in the Continental section. While perusibg the menu, there was a special 5 course set menu which cost Rs 799 plus tax which we thought was a good deal. We started with their seafood chowder soup, which was a wholesome tasty broth with tiny pieces of crab and a bagda prawn which maintained a perfect balance between the coconut milk base and the seafood. We are immediately intrigued and waited patiently for the chicken toasted salad which was 2 big pices of grilled chicken and fresh veggies with a light dressing. We were loving it so far. For the main course, my husband chose the baked fish with butter rice and veggies and I had the Chicken pasta in creamy cheese sauce. Both the dishes were spot on in taste and quantity and we were pleasantly surprised to find such good conti food in a place other than the mocambos and peter cats of Park street. It was a total value for money meal and i would love to go back to sample other dishes in the menu
Soul Kitchen is one of the newest places for buffet in the town and it didn't disappoint me at all. Today was my first visit and the first attraction of this place is its price. The place offers buffet at Rs.299/- and that's pretty amazing to be honest. Though the varieties are not that great, but its quite good at the price which I am getting. The ambience and the decor is simple and classy making it a joyful place to have your food. The staffs are well behaved and are always busy with their work. They are always attentive and always there for you whenever you want. The taste of the food is good but not that great which will make me say "wow". So these are the following things which were there in the buffet menu :
**STARTERS**
#ALOO 65 : Yeah, pretty good. Small crispy pieces of potatoes mixed with some lovely spices. The taste was good and I loved it.
#HARA BHARA KEBAB : A tikki made with green peas. This was not that good and i didnt like it much. A bit oily and overcooked as well.
#HUNAN CHICKEN : A bit spicy and lovely to eat. This was the best among the starters. But what I felt is that the proportion of bone can be little less, which could make it much more tasty to eat.
**SOUPS**
# VEG SWEET CORN SOUP : The soup failed to create any happiness in my mind. It wasn't that good. It could have been thicker which could have made some difference
# CHICKEN HOT & SOUR: Another soup which had the same outcome as the previous one. Not good. The soup could have been thicker and I could hardly find any chicken in the Chicken soup. Both the soup was disappointing.
**MAIN COARSE**
# FRIED RICE : The fried rice was impressive and I love the taste and the aroma which was coming out. The quality was as impressive as its taste.
#NAAN : Soft and nice.
# PANEER CAPSICUM : It was more like Paneer Butter Masala. Impressive again. Liked the thick sweet gravy. Really good in taste.
# PAALAK MAHARANI : Well cooked. Good taste. Nothing much to describe.
# VEG MANCHURIAN : Not that authentic Chinese Manchurian. Was little more of gravy than required. Not good.
#CHICKEN CURRY : Decent but again the same problem of keeping the water proportion much more than what's required.
#MUTTON ROSHAN JUICE : The best of the afternoon to be accurate. The gravy was spicy, rich and just perfectly made like Indian Dish. I loved the mutton dish.
**DESSERTS**
#PAYESH : A Bengali sweet dish made with rice and milk. What i liked about the preparation was the inch perfect proportion of sweetness which was given to it. Loved it.
#ICE CREAM : Only one variety of ice cream and that too only vanilla which I didn't like. There must be few other varieties of other flavours in the option.
How to locate?
You can find this place in Visitel which is located in EM Bypass, just beside Manisquare Mall.
Last Words:
A decent place to visit. If you want to have buffet keeping a check on your pocket this can definitely be your option. One thing which I was impressed with was that they gave mutton in such a price. Well, a place you can try it out once and if you like you can visit it again.
A 3.5/5 for this place would be fair enough for this place.
I went with my friend today...It is located just beside Apollo hospital...The buffet was quite good...Nice ambience... Staffs were co-operative...Only if the chicken kebab was boneless it would have been better.
Anusreea (The Bong Trippers)
+4
Nice ambience..good people! Awesome parking system...and of course good food!
The restaurant of the hotel Visitel..open till pretty late (10:45).
I went with one of my friend last Thursday on 7th April 2016..it was quite good..staffs are cooperative, buffet foods are good and my friend ordered Pasta which was nice to taste, overall good. Hope to visit on my upcoming birthday......
Sunday I spent nice time here with good food and service.
Service staff are very good specially Arun Singh.
Nice experience and we will visit again
Had a wonderful dining experience. Was greeted by Mr. Arun, Manager as had reserved tables. The food served was prepared with experience and the flavours added matched the recepie. The buffet spread was good enough to satisfy the price. The ambience was also satisfying a dine out with family and the place was not at all crowded. The staff was also courteous and all demands were met on time. Keep it up. Would visit again. Thank You
•Seemed quiet good in the budget and the dishes tasted great too.
•The ambience and atmos was pleasant and way too quiet ( My suggestion is to play a music in the background ) .
•All the staffs were well behaved and mannered.
•The location is just 2 3 mins walk from salt Lake stadium metro just adjacent to Apollo hospital.
***But the dishes varieties were limited, could have added a 1 or 2 varieties of rice or tandoori. And ice cream was missing as well.
•The reservation was completely hassle free.
•Points to ponder - Buy voucher from Nearbuy app(don't redeem it unless you r having the meal and can be used within a month anyday), as I had got discount in my next meal. Book or reserve a table directly from map via Dineout a day in advance.
And that's it. Tell them you have got a reservation and got a voucher with you. Nothing else needed . Have fun with your meal.
One of the most underrated buffet restaurants of Kolkata. Buffet at 550 rupees in a 3star hotel. Visitel hotel❤️
It's situated just next to Apollo Gleneagles hospital, Kakurgachi.
The ambience is very good and calm. It's much better than the quality and taste of the food.
Staff behaviour was good, but service was very much slow. Took 25 min to refill the chicken items.
The lunch buffet cost 550 rupees per person, check Nearbuy app for details. We got the buffet at 300 rupees(per person) because we had 250 rupees coupons from our previous purchase on that app. So better use the Nearbuy app next time 😎😉. They also have breakfast and dinner buffet.
In the buffet menu, there were-
*Hot and Sour Chicken Soup (very delicious, one of the best soups ever had in a buffet 😋)
Appetizers-
*Cheese Ball (perfect cheese pull, nice taste😌)
*Daal bora (average)
*Chili chicken (good ❤️)
*Salad bar- Green Salad, Raita, Achar, Papad
Main course-
*Veg Au Gratin ❤️
*Jeera rice (not properly cooked)
*Indian bread- Tandoori rooti/Naan/Butter naan
*Yellow Dal
*Aloo goobi masala
*Paneer Butter masala ❤️
*Sorshe fish (delicious)
*Chicken kasha (tasted good 👍)
Desserts-
*Chocolate Brownie (average)
*Angoori gulab jamun (worthless)
*Caramel custard (below average)
[**Dessert section needs much more improvement]
P.S- They charged us 76 rupees for a 1 litre mineral water bottle (normal 20 rupees aquafina) with GST🌚
Overall rating-
Food: 3.5/5
Price: 3/5 (choose the buffet option, a la carte costs much more, but same food quality as buffet)
Ambience: 5/5
Hospitality: 5/5
Overall nice experience. Just don't come here with expectations for the buffet. Then, you will feel good, as it's a pocket friendly buffet. 😉
Nice, quaint place. Not much to talk about ambience or decor, but the interiors go easy on the eye and look nice. The place is good for a quick bite and quick chat - prices seem reasonable, compared to the pricehounds in the region. Food ranges from okay-ish to good. We tried a chicken pizza and a chicken pasta in mixed sauce, both of which were good, but not anything remarkable. By the way, you can sit outside on a little lawn too.
Lack of Soild starters like kebabs and dry chilly chicken is a big turndown. At this price range you expect kebabs and dry chilly chicken. And lack of non veg Chinese item. Otherwise everything is a plus.
Amazing food, especially fish fingers in starters, service is excellent lovely staff very friendly and warm behavior, although few things need to improve:
1. Biryani mutton needs to be more tender and choice of cut should be better very boney pieces.
2. Desserts need to improve in terms of quality.
Will be back for more 😋😋😋😋!
A very underrated pace to say the least. The food was surprisingly tasty. It was evident that the chicken patty inside the burger was freshly made unlike a frozen patty you get in any CCD. The regular coffee was tasty as well. Definitely a second visit is in the cards.
Been there for breakfast buffet recently, I would rate this restaurant above average in terms of quality and taste. The breakfast buffet cost 250+taxes, which has options like juice, tea, omelette, upma, bread, dosa ,etc. The ambience is good and one can have unlimited buffet in the morning.
The food is good, takes little time to serve as they make everything fresh, from scratch. Should focus more on cleaning. Tables were not clean today, wasn't feeling good to keep hands on it, might be due to rush. Staff is friendly and polite.
This is located just outside the Apollo Glenagles Hospital, Kolkata where you can come for a quick party. But for obvious reasons its always filled with Hospital stafss and friends and family members of the Hospital patients. They have many items to offer along with Thalis. The staff is very professional and courteous. However service is slow.
We had chicken sandwich, vada sambadh, samosa chat, tea and cold coffee. All the items were decent (but not great) .To me price seemed justified but that's everyones personal opinion. May be I wont visit the Cafe just to have food, but if I go to Hospital and I am hungry - definitely I will stop over there.
Found a gem at by pass road, this cafe is located next to Apollo hospital. Totally a idol place if you are looking for something nice and quite.
Food is worth the money, and amibence is totally mood lifting. Staffs are really polite and friendly. They serve you at your best.
Visited Soul Kitchen on a weekend and late afternoon for some snacks. Quite spacious and a bit hidden on the ground floor of Visitel Hotel. Staffs were very polite and welcoming.
Ordered the following food:
• Chicken Piri Piri - I just loved it, spicy 🌶 and fulfilling | 4🌟
• Fish & Chips - Average, was served with tartar sauce which was a not good | 3🌟
Overall:
• Food: 4/5
• Ambience: 3/5
• Cost: 4/5
• Hospitality: 5/5
This outlet caters an important role to those who come to visit doctors or patients at Apollo, EM Bypass. Veg pasta as veg options and Chicken puff,Stuffed chicken croissants , Fish-n-chips , Fish finger, Chicken burger as Non Veg Options. Overall the food can be better and the pricing here is reasonable. Next time i will visit again
