The food is really good and tasty. Just a suggestion, if you are sending something that has sauce, please try to send it in the plastic containers. Most of the curry spilled out on the packet. The foil packaging is good for dry food. As the food was amazing, I am giving 5.

1st time ordered from zomato...bhetki paturi was not the usual one we have seen, wrapped in banana leaves and extremely less gravy but it had abundant gravy and was not wrapped...i liked it very much, sona moong daal and jhuri aloo bhaja was awesome,though i felt mutton dakbunglow was bit too spicy but still it was yummy...had an awesome lunch 2day...my parents loved all the dishes.
i visit this place many time and ordered at home also i love their pahari chicken kabab,basanti pulao and chicken dakbanglow...food is very good not so spicy..ambience and staff behave also good..it located opposit at southcity mall.. will visit soon..

Ordered fish orly. It was good. Eight small batter fried fish pieces served with mayonnaise. Fish quality good, batter coating absolutely crispy & crunchy. Would have given five, but salt quantity was a little too high. Also guys please don't sprinkle chat masala over it. It is a continental dish & chat masala reduces the taste.

One place for every cuisine.. be it bengali, tandoori, chinese or continental,, you name it, and they have it. We visited this place with our parents. While they had traditional bengali food, me and my husband opted for steak and sizzler. The food was yummy.. Though the chicken in the steak could hv been a little more tender, but the yummy taste makes up for it.. nd bengali food was just lip smacking!!
If you are planning to visit this eatery joint on any holiday or any special day, make sure you hv reservation coz its a little small one.

Location is very easy just opposite south city mall. Ambience is also good.
We had prawn starter, a fish starter, mixed fried rice and tried their roasted chilli chicken.
Food is yummy. Specially the starters are delicious.
Roasted chilli chicken is a dark black gravy and smells smokey, but it tastes good.
Staffs are cordial and friendly.
They dont have any parking place, thats a problem here.

No no, don't judge the book by it's cover.. plzz go there atleast once.. small restro with near about 20-25sitting arrangement..situated on Prince Anwar Shah road opposite to the south city mall..They don't have enough stuffs ,one gentleman can easily handle 3-4 table orders....on my birthday I celebrate here my birthday with my 3friends..now start reviewing our orders..

Specially I like the startars cause the crispy and spicy taste and also their quantity..one plate startars comes with 6pcs. Of chicken drumsticks..
Biriyani was also very very tasty..and also the tummy touching quantity.. one special Biriyani can easily share..
But the chicken kasa taste was good.. it's not as good as what I expected...

It was my second visit.but this time no mughlai only Chinese.
Ordered chicken drumsticks as startars,egg fried rice,chicken in oyester sauce,hot garlic fish and one soft drink.
All of these dishes were excellent taste.on my third time visit wish to try some Bengali foods.
Previously,this restaurant was in the name of Hanglas.But now,they have a different menu.different decor.
Its located bang opp to South City mall,near Honda Showroom.Nice ambience,but a small one.maximum 24people can dine in at once. The Waiter seemed the same as Hanglas and he is proffessional and Superb.
Well,we two got the best of the service from him.
And we ordered according to his choice only.
The fish Orly tasted awesome too.
Price is on the economical side.
Home delivery service is also great,during peak hours also.
Limited menu, but taste wise too good.
Very easy on pocket.
So, Victoria = happy tummy + happy pocket

On Saptami, we decided to have our lunch at The Victoria. The restaurant is located opposite to South City Mall. The Honda showroom is a better landmark to find the restaurant. A simple yet neatly decorated restaurant, The Victoria has a spacious area for dining. The staffs are courteous and friendly.
We ordered Fish Orly, Basanti Pulao and Mutton Dakbanglow. Their service was quick. The food items were all so very delicious. There were 6-8 pieces in the dish Fish Orly. The pulao's quantity was enough for two people. And, the dish Mutton Dakbanglow was soooo yummy. There were 4 pieces of mutton, a piece of potato and an egg in it. The meat pieces were properly cooked and hence, soft. The thick and perfectly prepared gravy was simply loved by us. We wish we could taste some dessert items but we're too full to have more!
Enjoy meals at this lovely place with your family and loved ones. The prices are pretty much reasonable considering tasty Bengali dishes. They also offer catering services which you can avail in various occasions.

It was very easy to locate. It is just in the opposite lane of south city mall. The restaurant is small. It was beautifully decorated as I visited the place during durga puja with my family.. At first, we wanted to try their biryani. But half of the dishes were not available. So, I couldn't try their biryani and desserts. We ordered crispy chicken fry as starter, then plain naan, butter naan and chicken butter masala. The dishes were ok. The chicken butter masala and fries were tasty.
We tasted pan fried mixed noodles and fried rice chilli chicken combo. Must say the pan fried noodles was awesome but quantity was quite less. Chilli chicken was also tasty and much better than most of the overpriced restaurants. Must try!

Yesterday i went to " THE VICTORIA" multi cuisine restaurant with my g.f.. Earlier it was hangla's but now we found that it no longer exists so the victoria came into existence.. As usual the ambience is like that of hangla's. Entering the restaurant we ordered 1 chicken sphagetti carbona (continental), 1 nawabi chicken & 4 tandoori roti (badshahi).. They took a bit time to deliver the 2nd food.. Coming to the food, if u read my reviews u will find that earlier i was ridiculated by continental, and once again the same happened to us, but the badshahi item was damn superb, yummy.. The quality of food and quantity and price is good, the staff behaviour is also good. But i found the servant irresponsible as we were so disgusted with the continental that we thought to bring it home and spread the taste to our families, but he didn't pack the continental food, we had to pack it, and there is also no washroom in the restaurant whch made us clean our hands with a tissue paper.. This restaurant is near to my place and every weekend i pay a visit to this place. I love the chicken combo of this resturant. The ambience is nice and the quality and the quantity of the food is also awesome.

A newly opened joint near South City... It is the place where Hangals used to be be... Ambience is bright n beautiful... Nos of seating is very low... Approx 20 to 25 only... USP of the place is they are serving lip smacking food at very pocket friendly price... They are serving Chinese, Continental, North Indian as well as Bengali cuisine... Of which we tried the North Indian startes like chicken lassoni kabab, tandoori pomfret n tandoori chicken... All were very good but quality of tandoori chicken can be improved... In the main course we had basmati rice, basmati pulao, jhinge aloo posto, sona moog dal, begun bhaja, kachi pather jhol, chicken kosa, sorse illish n chingri malai curry from the bengali section... All the dishes are yummy expect the chingri malai curry... Not at all good... Need to work on the curry basically... We also tried the fresh lime soda n daab cooler those were refreshing too... And we wrapped up with payas which was perfectly made n yummy too... Service is bit slow but good... Give this place a try with low expectations and you will not get disheartened for sure...

*chicken Lasooni kebab : the meat was really tender and tasted nice.
*Tandoori pomfret : who doesn't like pomfret?
* Rice, dal, posto, begun bhaja and chicken curry : tasted the way it should taste. Simple and home cooked. However, the chicken curry was a bit too spicy for my liking.
If you're looking for a cheap place to have lunch in their area, then this is the place to be. Hey also serve breakfast.
If you are looking for an excellent low cost Bengali Thali, The Victoria is for you. Located just opposite of South City mall, Victoria serves Bengali cusine and their food quality is really a good one.
Well I decided to taste a few more of their items other then going for the regular Thali. So started with Promfet Fish Tandoori which tasted good enough.
Then moved to the mains Rice, Mugh dal and Kosha mangso. What a meal it was.
Also had their Mutton and Ilish, as I couldn't resist myself and my friends too. Each of the dishes we tried were excellent, tasted good and was fully hygeinic.
Do come and visit here if you are in doubt of visiting this place, and thank me later.
And don't forget to end your meal with a Payes. It was heavenly.
Prices are very reasonable, quantity is sufficient.

In the constant aim of owning and enjoying everything precious, we odten forget how simple things in life bring the most casual of joys. That's what I was reminded of when I settled for a hearty yet simple dinner today at The Victoria. The joy of simple things and simple Bengali food is unmatched.
I started my dinner with a glass of their well made sweet lime soda and lahsuni kebab. The kebabs went down with me very well and I look forward to gettinf them delivered soon again. Moving on, we settled for a simple meal of rice, daal, fried brinjals, veg pulao and mutton curry.
The simple combination left me with full and satisfied. This place is a great pick if you are looking for not so overhyped and over priced casual Bengali meals.
The Victoria is located at the Opposite of South City Mall, in the lane of Honda Two Wheelers showroom.
This place can accommodate around 20 people at a time.
Ambiance and deco was nice.
Tried Daab cooler and Sweet lime soda. Between those I preferred Lime soda.
From the starters I had Murg Lasuni kebab which was very soft and tasty, murg tandoori which was also good. Later I had Pomphret Tandoori..
In maincourse I tried Ilish Sorshe, begunbhaja, kosha chicken, kochi pathar (mutton) jhol, aloo posto, chingri malaikari and basanti pulao.
From those I loved the ilish, pulao and chicken kosha most.
In dessert I tried Paayesh. Which was also good.

Nowadays, we mostly see restaurants cater to a particular or a single cuisine. Multicuisine is a genre which is fading away in terms of quality but there are some hidden gems, such as The Victoria,(located opposite south city mall),which is slowly but steadily making its presence felt in the culinary field by introducing a diverse cuisine ranging from North Indian to continental, from bengali to Chinese and they surely managed to make my experience worth remembering!
Among the north Indian delicacies, i would suggest the chicken lasooni kebab - it was prepared with care and compassion!, the Tandoori chicken - needless to say, the picture speaks volumes of the taste. For fish lovers, the Tandoori pomphret should be the go to option.
This place deserves a heap of praise for the sheer quality of Bengali cuisine! Simple and delightful is how i would sum it up! The combination of plain rice, mug dal, aloo posto along with begun bhaja is simply an emotion! Upgrade your choice to the modern bangali, and you will find yourself getting pampered with basmati pulao, mutton kasha and the iconic murgir jhol!
The quality and the quantity is unparalleled and the quality of service is top notch! Surely coming back here to try the rest of the items.

Good ambience in a compact space! Foods are tasty. Prices are not also high. You can come and enjoy your foods. Staffs are also very good. But because of the compactness, you'll not feel good if there occurs a much crowd. Otherwise it will be good choice for you.
Went there 2times, quite a good restaurant with nice vibes, the ambience is quite good just beside the Honda showroom opposite south city mall. They comprises chinese, tandoor, continental and indian cuisine, all of them are tasted by us.. It's the photo when we were having dinner on dasami night, it consisted, nun chicken bharta blue lagoon. Good quality food at a reasonable price and it is worth ur money.

Cozy nd clean place... gud for small college going groups. Price is avg... food quality is gud... Car parking is an issue here... hot n sour chicken soup is definately a must try. .. taste like homemade...
