Absolutely outstanding food quality and Nipu deserves special mention for his services..we ordered Aam Pora Sherbat, Gondhoraj Chicken, Plain Rice, Kasha Mangsho, Daab Chingri, Bhetkir Paturi to name a few and all these dishes were exceptionally satisfying for the taste buds and literally made my day! but the show stealer was the Cut Hafooz Alfonso Mango with Vanilla ice cream, the best dessert I've had in a while, which is a speciality in their 'Aam Admi Party's menu..There's no better place for Bengali food I have to say..
Very impressed with this restaurant. We had a la carter food which was of a very high standard taking into account that we had never eaten food from Bengal. The ambiance and attention given by the staff was second to none. All in all a very delicious meal at a very reasonable price.

This place is located in the food court area in Acropolis Mall, Kasba. If you are a bengali, you will love this place for sure. One must try the chicken kabiraji and fish fry. I just loved those. You can try the combo meals. I ordered cholar dal with radhaballavi. Among desserts one can have chanar malpoya, it's great. The pricing is high but it goes well with the food's quality. I would like to visit this place more & more.
I was hungry but needed snacks. So I stepped into the Acropolis mall counter. I ordered Gondhoraj chicken wings, fish fry and egg devil with mutton.
The wings were the best. Soft with a slight sourish taste. The fish fry was 1 big piece and not that great. The eggs had less mutton and more potatoes.
Overall okay, but the next I am there will try the wings and something else.
The best place to lunch, snack and dine for hardcore bengali food lovers in this food court. The outlet is a franchise of the wonderful 6 Ballygunge Place catering. The quality of the food and drinks is top of the class.

Have been fond of 6 Ballygunge Place ever since having celebrated my mother's birthday at their Salt Lake outlet two years ago, and also because of their catering service and food provided at a dear friend's wedding, on whose recommendation I'd tried their BENGALI FISH FRY which has and had been a classic superhit, both at their restaurants and two weddings.
Also not to be missed is their DAB CHINGRI, a melt-in-the-mouth dish of prawns roasted inside a tender coconut with a lovely light gravy.
KAJU KISMIS PULAO, JHUR JHURE ALOO BHAJA,
DOI MURGI, PABDAR JHAL and MANGSHOR JHOL are also recommended.
Some of the items to be tried out from this counter at Acropolis Mall are the EGG MUGHLAI PARATHA, CHICKEN KABIRAJI, PANEER KATHI ROLL, DIMER DEVIL WITH VEGETABLES, KASHA MANGSHO WITH LOOCHI, CHHANAR MALPOA and BAKED MIHIDANA WITH RABDI.
Taste of food is authentic, prepared fresh and hot then and there (like the puffy hot loochi), not much spicy (for those who are spice intolerant; people who love spicy Indian food like me might find them wee bland, though I find them quite okay) but light, mild and delicious with the perfect balance of subtle flavours, typical of 6 Ballygunge Place.
Special mention must be made of the Kasha Mangsho which is amazing, a treat for diehard mutton fans. The mutton pieces are extremely soft and not hard to chew like some pieces seem to be. Not a mutton fan but would vouch for their Kasha Mangsho.
For grabbing some quick Bengali bites over conversations with one's foodie friends, or just to chill out at the food court with family or colleagues over a hearty lunch of delish Bong cuisine at reasonable prices, this counter is a good and safe choice.

Few days ago,I was in Kasba and I thought let's have something because we were damn hungry.So we went to 6 Ballygunge Place (Gupshup) which is at food court of acropolis mall and ordered a Paneer Kathi Roll.It was so spicy,filling and accompanied with salad,sauce,chutney it was just heaven.And our pocket pinch for it was 65 Rupees including GST.So tasty delicacies are here in reasonable price.It's a must visit for big foodies.โค
Had masala alurdom and luchi. Along wit cha and malpoa. Alurdom taste was just like home. Luchibwas fluffy and malpoa was so soft n yummy.

Aa we all know 6 bllygnge place in one of the most fvrt place for suprb qlty bengli foods. And this is also true for its branch gupshup in acropolis mall. Every time i visited here i have orderd mutton kasa and luchi. Mutton kasa is just "yummmm" in taste, its angry spicy look make you happy when they serve you.
Had masala alur dum and luchi for lunch yesterday! Absolutely loved it!! The alur dum was not only tasty but really good for people like me who don't like way too spicy food.
Luchi is like an intimate emotion for Bongs. Whether it's for lunch or breakfast, we just love to have this one! This outlet definitely knows how to keep the quality and quantity similar to it's other outlets. The luchis were simply perfect, not too oily yet tasty to the core and soft.
Since, it's just below my office will definitely try the other items one by one.

The best thing about this place is its really pocket friendly. A non veg thali that included roti, Dal makhani, chicken, raita cost only 200 odd rupees. The waiters were very courteous and served the order really quickly. Location is food court in acropolis mall.
This counter serves quite a decent food. Please try their bhaja masalar alur dum and karasutir kachori, it's my favourite. But dint like their egg devil.

6 Ballygunge Place is one of my favourite restaurants for I just love their food.
Went to try from this outlet (for the second time) but expected it to be better.
Anyways being a passionate cook and foodie, I felt the mutton could have been better.
The flavour of rice was suppressed by too much usage of Cinnamon in the mutton.
For this reason I would rate a 4 Star.
Present within the acropolis food court, this is one of the best bengali cuisine serving outlet. In fact I should say, they provide real and authentic bengali food here within Kolkata. Though the menu items are pretty less, whatever they have are no less than hit. We opted for koraisutir kochuri and bhaja masla alur dam: Fantastico.
Luchi and mutton kosha platter was pure bliss. Their starters are awesome too. We had fish fry which tasted really good.
Last but not the least, they have desserts like baked mihidana with rabri which I have plan to try in my next visit. We ordered for malpua which was delicious too.
Felt like I am having my meal in my home during my childhood days!!!

I started loving 6 Ballygunge place for Bengali food as they serve tasty Bengali food at reasonable cost. We visited Gup shup by 6 Ballygunge place in acropolis mall food court. We ordered fish fry as a starter and radhabalabi with alu dam followed by a delicious dessert e.i baked rabri mehidana ๐. The dessert is awesome in taste. Rest food is also good it is like our home cooked food. Do try this place whenever visit acropolis mall
It is one of the best places to try authentic Bengali cuisine. The luchi and kosha mangsho or luchi and chholar dal, basically all the luchi combos are delicious. Korai shutir kochuri and aloor dum is great too. I haven't tried the polao but I've heard good reviews about it. One dish that you shouldn't give a miss is the baked mihidana. It is so delicious that one can't describe enough about it. The special thing about this place is that the taste takes you back to your childhood days which I find awesome.
went there last Wednesday. their Mughal counter was just wow. tried the nan dal makhni and chicken plater @200 only. it was heavenly specially the dal. the biriyani was also juicy and polao was so so..

As we all know this place is the most authentic place to have your bengali cuisine in town. The food here is very nostalgic and definitely tasty. Being Bengali we will all love this combo anytime and everytime and getting a combo of two mutton pieces with 4 luchi (cripsy and fluffy) for only 200 bugs is a must yes for all, and it tastes authentically delicious and is exactly same one would like to had this combo great service and promt and quick assistance is a good way to make it the best, would recommend to try it and enjoy! Their tandoor items makes it more tasty to look. Only thing they need to work on is service. I would have given 4.5 but service made me give 4 only. Serving is damm slow hope they work out over this difficulty.

6 Ballygunge Place is well-known all around the city for the amazing Bengali cuisine it serves. Probably, this restaurant chain serves the best Bengali cuisine in town. This particular outlet is there on the 3rd floor food court of Acropolis Mall. You will get an adequately wide range of items served here. The problem might be with the availability of seats. Since, this place is a part of the food court, it doesn't have any dedicated table. We had ordered a mini-meal which comprised of Kosha Chicken and Veg Pulao with Salad. The Veg Pulao was tasty; what was even better was the minimal possible use of oil in making the rice. It seemed as if they had made it without the usage of oil. The health-consciousness factor with no compromise in the taste is definitely a big U.S.P. of this food joint. The Kosha Chicken had two big pieces of chicken. It was extremely tasty and complemented the Veg Pulao well. I would love to visit this place again and try a few other items. Recommended!
A smaller version of 6 Ballygunge Place; was pleasantly surprised by the quantity versus price..not too bad! I had visited a friend and ordered the Kosha Manghso Luchi platter and a Fish Fry on the side.. Both were excellent. The mutton was tender and well-cooked, the luchis were oh-so fluffy and the Fish fry crisp and well-cooked.. Loved it!
This little outlet of six ballygangue place is my very favourite to have a quick bite after a movie at cinepolis. Koraishutir kochuri and alur dam can easily be the tastiest evening snack. In our last visit we tried radhabhallabhi with cholar daal, which was good too. Gondhoraj chicken is very tasty and so is the fish chop. But the chingrir cutlet didn't live up to the expectations. Pocket pinch is moderate too
We have tried here Luchi with kasha mangso and Dhaniya Chicken fried. Food was hot and served within 10 min. Freshly fried Luchi (4 pcs) and soft mutton. But i don't know why the taste of kasha mango was average on that day. Dhaniya chicken was good.

Comfort food amidst the hustle bustle of Acropolis food court. We had Kosha Mangsho with Luchi and Gondhoraj Fried Wings. The kosha mangsho is to die for. The mutton pieces so tender and cooked to perfection. The fried chicken wings was more of batter but very crispy with a slight falvouring of gondhoraj lebu. Not bad i say.
For lovers of Bengali cuisine, 6 Ballygunj Place needs no new introduction. Its always been one of the finest and one of the best in town. From the restaurant to their catering service to the outlets, all of them maintain a certain standard in quality and taste. The outlet at Acropolis mall is ideal for a quick bite of authentic Bengali food, delicious in taste and reasonable in pricing. Their fish fry is awesome. Its made of Basa fish and is non-oily and crispy...reminds you of the tasty fish fries served typically in Bengali weddings. Peas Kachuri and alur dom are also divine, tastes like straight from our mother's homemade kitchen. The best thing is the hot tea which was excellent given the low price & one cup is simply not enough. Overall a decent joint serving good quality food. The staff is quite polite and accommodating. I would definitely revisit to try out their other dishes
This place is one of my favourites in Acropolis mall food court. We have tried luchi kosha mangsho, morog polao and chingri macher salmi. Luchi kosha mangsho is mouthwatering. Freshly fried fulko luchi 4 pieces with 2 pieces of soft, tender , spicy mutton - the perfect combination. Morog polao is a milder version of biriyani, much lighter and without alu. They serve a decent sized chicken piece and ample beresta with the polao. Chingri macher salmi was however a disappointment. Price is decent.
Good food. All dishes have that typical Bengali touch. Mutton was very well cooked. Luchi and kosha mangsho is a headturner here. Polao and mutton also is good. Must try once.
I had tried their murg polao, which was better than any well known restaurants in kolkata ! Infact they has a best tasted biriyani, which is a must try for everyone! Their biriyani has got dried grapes, kaju, n a sweet flavour and they serve it wid raita and salad. I love it n i il b there soon. !

GUPSHUP by 6 Ballygunge place is a food counter located at the food court level at acropolish mall. Ideal place for a quick lunch or snacks specially for the people on the go as the prices are very affordable but again portion size will not be sufficient if you are looking for a complete meal as in proper Lunch or dinner.
Menu items primarily consists of Bengali delicacies such as Gondhoraj fried wings, Mochar chop, Kasha mangso with Loochi or chholar dal with Radhaballvi. Apart from this they also serve few combo meals like chicken kassa with veg pulao or Mutton Kosha with veg pulao which will always be a good option to go with. Baked mihidana with rabri is quite impressive for the sweet teeth.
Service time is quick and staffs are efficient. Do give it a shot Just in case looking for a quick meal at Acropolish.

This outlet or rather kiosk is situated in the Acropolis Mall food court. Tried the mashed chop and the luchi aloor combo and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Even the murgh pulao was brilliant.Will love to try the kotha mangsho combo some other day.
Had koraishutir kochuri with aloor dum and fish chops. The kochuri and aloor dum was very good. The fish chop was exactly how the taste should have been, with the filling of fish smooth and tasty. However would have appreciated the food to be a little warmer.

After retiring from a recently watched movie at cinepolis,ย I entered the food court with the aim of satiating my building hunger. It is during this time that my eyes started sweeping to all the tables, that had flates of fulko luchi and kasha mangsho adorning day. If you did not know about Bangali's love for the combo, you could have as it is conceived it to be National Kasha Mangsho Day. Yes, that many people were having it. This influenced my desire for that yummy looking plate of food and I too ended up ordering the same. My mother on the other hand ordered the morog polao that is accompanied by raita and salad.ย
Both the dishes tasted very good to us. The mutton is as soft as it can get, without any spice dominating the dish. Everything was in proportion and well balanced. While the mutton went exceedingly well with the freshly fried luchis, it made a spell bounding combo with the morog polao as well. You should really think about serving both these things together as well. All in all good food that lead to a happy us.
Tried there luchi kosha mangsho and koraisutir kochuri ar alurdom combo twice. Loved there luchi kosha mutton combo,it was awesome and of course bangali's all time favourite, but the kochuri-alurdom was OK,nothing xtra ordinary to mention.

Peas Kachoris and Aloo Dum is also a mouthwatering option for the vegetarians. A sufficient quantity of aloo dum, cooked in a special blend of spices. Recommended :)

From a long time me n my husband was planning to go to 6 ballygunje place saltlake to eat the 'dimer devil'. Atlast today in acropolis mall we fulfilled our desire. We took koraishutir kochuri with bhaja mashla aloo dum n dimer devil. Came to the 1st choice, taste is good. But the dimer devil was awesome. Will surely try again.
6 bp gupshup is a kiosk inside the food court of Acropolis mall.. they serve some yummy starters but we were quite full so only ordered Dhaniya fried chicken. It was yumm.. very unique in taste.. pricing is also reasonable. Will try other items on my next visit spclly the koraishutir kochuri and dimer devil

The Aloo'r Dom could be a little better while the Koraishutir Kochuri was gorom and crunchy. At โน85 it was quite a good deal for us. :)
There was nothing special in the ambience. The staff behaviour was pretty good. Tried their Thali that tasted nice. But all the items in the Thali was not freshly cooked like the Bhetki paturi. The welcome drink served with the Thali was very bad. Overall it was a good experience but not so great that I would make a second visit to the place.

The welcome drink was not good something named Gondhoraj Chol,I didn't like it.. I loved their bhetki paturi and the mutton Kosha too much.. Mishti doi and darbesh was served as the dessert which we brought home as a parcel because our tummy was already full with the maincourse that there was no place left for the dessert..overall a perfect dinner at the last day of Durga Puja we had..
We went for a family luncheon on my daughter's first birthday and we were all smiles after the food session. We had ilish thali, veg thali and daab chingri. It was finger licking delicious. ๐ฅฐa must visit.
We had visited in this week and one of Best Restaurant for Bengali Thali . Basic Veg Thali is Rs.275/- , Chicken Thali - Rs.330 and Mutton Thali - Rs.425/- . The quality are extremely good and quantity are also sufficient . We have enjoyed like anything . The 1st floor is ideal for 25- 30 heads for any Bday / Anniversary parties. Their Service also too prompt and very good . My experience are too good
All I can say is that I had a great time with my friends, had to line up for a bit to enter the restaurant but the wait was worth it. The service is very good, staff's behavior is also very good and for the food, it was delicious. The best option I'd obviously say the thali. It's a very nice place to have lunch with family and friends.
Landed here for a quick meal and wanted to have some bengali cuisine. So in the interest of time landed in the thali version of 6 ballygunge. Chose to have kosha mangsho and luchi, betky paturi wrapped in mustard and Fish cutlet. All had some tinge of the history of the brand but surely prefer the main branches. Over all a good meal before the place got crowded.
Love every items be it veg ir non veg. My favourite combo is luchi and mutton kosha.
Quite good experience. Food was pretty good except mutton. Location was awesome. On Rajdanga Main Road, one stoppage before Acropolis Mall.

What a awesome place it is to have some kolkata special thali with all the fish and masho. We loved kosho manghso with luchi, kalta roasted which have gravy on it, daab chingri(very unique), I just canโt get over the taste even after month. People do must try out this joint, it is a chain across kolkata and it is worth every single penny. It cost us around 1700 for three people and we all had quiet a amount of food. They have different options for Thali with only fish or only meat

For some people who live nearby any rail station, he/she can get off at Ballygunge Junction and then take an auto from the bridge end directly to 6BP.
The place was good . The foods were very nice . The service was also very good .
But if you are going compare between some restaurants then you will see that the cost is not soo cheap , as they will provide unlimited "rice,daal and alo dom" which you can't consume in huge amount .
So basically one should think it this way that like Mutton thali(2pc mutton) is for rs475 .
Don't think that you will get each and every item as many time as you want.
Overall this is a good restaurant to spend quality time with your loved one with some good food in quiet reasonable price .( I won't say absolutely reasonable but yes it is quite reasonable which will vary from person to person).
Also the service was great. They will ask you several times if you need anything else and won't hesitate to give you the unlimited items again and again.
The best part is everything is served in bronze plates which give it a very classy look. I will definitely recommend you to go for at least once to spend time there and have your desired items.
We had Mutton thali and add on "thin potato fry "(which was rs50 ) and in the final bill you have to pay 5% gst.

Outstanding ambiance ..... The food is very delicious.... And the portion is more than enough for one person..... All disehes are equally tasty.... But in weakends it is little crowdy.....and to have your dish you have too wait very much โฆSo please keep this on mind...
I had the pleasure of dining at 6 Ballygunge Place Thali recently and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The Mutton- Bhetki thalis (625/-) were absolutely delicious, and the Nolen gurer ice cream (150/-) was a top notch dessert. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were so friendly, and the food was simply outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Food quality is very good, Period. We took 1 Fish Thali, 1 Chicken Thali, 1 Bhetki Fish Fry and 1 Bhetki Chingri Paturi. The Katla in the Fish Thali was a bit off, it tasted not like fresh Fish but Iced(Frozen Fish 15-20kg fish that's imported from Andhrapradesh). Chicken Thali was tasty and so was the Bhetki Fry ( A Must Try) . Rice ,dal and alu dum are unlimited rest limited. Overall good and service is top notch, well mannered service guys.

Good place for trying out bengali cuisine. Although the taste of drinks can be improved, the dishes like daab chingri, potol , mutton kosha and nolengur ice cream tasted really good .
Food is very delicious and hygienic. Overall taste is really good and serves an authentic Bengali thali. The "Ghol" as a complimentary dish is really very tasty and good to start with before a heavy meal !!
