Had their baked rosogolla and mangi sandesh in Share Bangla Food festival. Both the items tasted quite good and very fresh. Will definitely try the other dishes very soon.

About the Food,
We ordered 2 Dhokla on a sunny afternoon and it was a refreshing one. It was not too chilly nor too wet - just the perfect way how a Dhokla should be.

Actually after eating different food I cannot end my meal with out sweet so I always go to k c gope because the sweet r amazing and it is not affect on your pocket
বাঙালির বারো মাসে তেরো পার্বন ।
আর কোনো পার্বন ই সম্পূর্ণ হয়না খাওয়া- দাওয়া, হই-চই, মিষ্টি -মুখ ছাড়া। সদ্য গেল ভাইফোঁটা, মিষ্টির বহর তাতে থাকবেই, বিভিন্ন ধরণের। তথাকথিত রসগোল্লা, কালাকাদঁ, পান্তুয়া, সরভাজা ছাড়াও ভিন্নস্বাদের মিষ্টিও যে চাই। ভাইয়েরা আবার ছোট, একটু "ভেরিয়েশন" যে চাই তাদের পাতে। আর ঐতিহ্যের সাথে অনেক সময়, অনেক দশক ধরে হাতিবাগান এর বাটার ঠিক একটু পাশেই তা উপস্থিত তা হলো K.C.Gope।
মিষ্টিগুলো তো উত্তর কলকাতায় অন্যতম সেরা, তবে এদের কুলফি টা জাস্ট অনবদ্য। ৫০ টাকায় এত্ত ভালো কুলফি অন্য কোথাও পাওয়া যায় বলে আমার তো জানা নেই। আরো একটি বিশেষত্ব আছে , কলকাতা তে একমাত্র এদের কাছেই পাবেন ঢাকাই সনপাপরি । শুনে অবাক হলাম ,এই সনপাপরি ফ্রীজে না রাখলেও একমাস থাকবে । মন ভরে একসাথে অনেকটা নিয়ে এলেই চলবে, এখন আর মাঝরাতে খিদে পেলে ফ্রীজ হাতড়াতে হবেনা😝।

If you take the name of "city of joy" one name easily came up with this and that is Misti. Kolkata is A world famous place for their misti.specially North Kolkata has some different elegance in making misti. So k. C. Gope is the place from North Kolkata that has been maintaining their heritage in making misti for so long. Just two or three days before I was introduced to this place . And this sweet shop is located near the Hatibagan bata.
This place not only famous for misti but also they have lots of variety of snacks like dahi vada, kachuri, raj kachuri, chole bhatore etc.
I tried :
Malai kulfi , that was simply wow!! If u ever go North Kolkata i wanna recommend to everyone just to taste their kulfi.
Dhakai sanpapdi- this was very unique. Becz I never had this type of sanpapdi in other place. Taste was really good.
Even I took some other misti and snacks for my home.
All were very good in taste.

Kolkata is synonymous to Mishti and that's best epitomized by the heritage sweet shops like the one I visited only recently. KC Hope & Co. is one of the first few shops that offered the people of this city the enticing taste of bengali mishti. Starting from the quintessentially bengali delicacies like doi, rosogolla and pantua, they have an endless other options for snacks and refreshments and exquisite delicacies like Dhakai Soan Papdi.
One of the first things I tried was there Kesar Kulfi and hands down it was the best I've had in the longest time!
I also took some of their sweets and dhokla for home they were equally good in of terms taste and prices. No wonder these places are gems, still uplifting the culinary heritage of the City of Joy with pride!

Food is light and healthy even kulfi is also nice! Baked rosgolla and all things are nice too.. Who served us food, the uncle is quiet good in behaviour! But this is soo small place and conjusted... so it needs to be modified! Otw, love food food!
In this hot summer we are very fond of chiiled things. In sweet we always preferred Keshar Kulfi. Its like bonanza offer. Pay for 1 and u will get Sweet and Icecream in together.
If you have a wish to taste kulfi in very nominal place then u have to come here.
Their speciality is they use original keshar. And the quality is top notch.

I ordered first time from this restaurant. I ordered Labanga Latika & jalbhora Sandesh. Labanga Latika is really good and better that anyone. But I am disappointed with Jalbhora. It is not up to mark.
রোববার ভরদুপুরে ব্যক্তিগত কাজে গিয়েছিলাম ডালহোসি । গরমে আরাম। তৃপ্তিতে মজা। রিকশা ওয়ালা, কুলি, পথচারী, হোটেল রেস্টুরেন্টে যারা বসে আছেন, কে না খেতে চায় কুলফি ? কিন্তু কাজের চাপে লোভ সম্বরন করে এগিয়ে গেলাম ।বেলা শেষে বাড়ি ফেরার পথে নিয়ে এলাম খান পাঁচ এক পান কুলফি।
I have ordered cheese masala dosa nd dahi vada.. both tastes good... Nd they prepare your food very fast... For a snack break or for lunch.. its really nice..the food is very light...nd healthy...nd quality is enough better than street dosas..
This place is my go to go place whenever i teleport to Hatibagan. The outlet is situated next to the Bata showroom. They serve veg foods with "no onion or garlic", entirely a pure veg foodstop. You can get plenty of food items from vada, idly, uttapam, dosa to vada pao, dahi vada to kulfis. They also have different types of sweets from baked rosogollo to chocolate sandesh and what not. The Kesar Malai Kulfi is my favourite from this which costs only 50 bucks. It tastes heaven. Do try out their items whenever you visit Hatibagan.

Yesterday,we have ordered one uttapam,one Pau bhaji and one kulfi.Uttapam and kulfi was too good.In paw bhaji,the veg curry was very unsatisfactory but overall it's nice.

What can I say about their BAKED RASGOALLA?? WoW, amazing! It is love, I ordered it, I had my dinner from here. Chola bhatura was also tasty bt that was bit spicy & Oily. Bt taste was good. Actually this is basically north kolkata based veg. Sweet cum snacks shop. Ambience is perfect & Staffs are decent. Again I will go & Must try restro for veg lover.

This rating is based purely on the quality of Jaggery Shots which I had during the Street food festival in City Center Salt Lake. I must say this particular sweet definitely stands among the top. One should give it a try.
Located at the 4 point crossing of Hathibagan just beside hathibagan BATA showroom, this old sweet shop needs no introduction. It's a purely veg restaurant serving South Indian dishes as well. Wish to opt for South Indian food while shopping in hathibagan, K. C. Gope & Co. would be the best place to hop into! And so I along with my parents hopped into it. We ordered "Masala Dosa". It was tasty with quite a good amount of masala smash inside. But the supplements Chatni and Sambar were cold, and also didn't taste good. K. C. Gope needs to work a little on the quality of the Chatni but dosa quality was very good. Ambience is ok with quick service. Pocket pinch is a bit high but good food quality.
Very old place but still serves the best best kulfi and rasmalai. We ordered rasmalai, plain dosa, masala dosa , kulfi , mango dahi and dahi vara.
I have been a regular to this joint since the days when I used to visit Hatibagan holding my parent's hand . It is located near the Hatibagan More on Bidhan Sarani just beside the erstwhile Radha Cinema Hall now converted into shops . If you are moving towards Shyambazar 5 point Crossing from Hatibagan More the shop will be on your left hand side . Apart from various types of sweets they also serve dosa , idli etc which are quite good . Mostly visit here for their mouthwatering Kulfi which has remained the same since my childhood days . Ambiance & seating arrangement is clumsy due to shortage of space but the taste compensates those disadvantages .

হাতিবাগান এর বেশ পুরনো মিষ্টির দোকান। মিষ্টির জন্য খ্যাতি আছে। সাউথ ইনডিয়ান খাবার গুলো ভালই করে। দাম ও ঠিকঠাক।তবে একটু পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্ন রাখলে ভালো হয়।
Its a very proper location on North kolkata. It is nearby Hatibagan crossing beside Bata. The atmosphere is very good and also the service is too good.
In this shop the famous sweet is Baked Rossogolla and there is sell Dhakai Sampadhri in weight and also the teaste is super. Here the rosomalai and Dahibora was very teasty.
They had set up a stall at the Calcutta Classics Food Festival at City Centre today. They were serving South Indian and Bengali sweets and Kulfi. Their display of various sweets was appealing to the eyes. Baked malpua,firni,matka rabri etc. Was on display and it was difficult to decide what to eat. I decided to go for their Baked Rosogolla. It was yummy. The rosogollas were very soft. It's a must try dessert option here.

Good place for having food in between shopping. They have south indian food, snacks, chole bhature, kulfi and a variety of sweets .Had cheese butter Dosa and baked roshogolla. Both were very good. The person there was also helpful and humble.
Tried out Masala Dosa here which tasted very much delicious! And then we tried some sweets doi Bora and sambar were equally delicious! Pure vegetarian shop. Also being delivered to home by Zomato!

The Kehsar Kulfi Malai in K.C.Gope is unparallel. Though the sweets and snacks are a little costly, but they are really very tasty. The Staff is also unchanged for the past 10 years. It's a Traditional Sweet Shop at Hatibagan. But, they don't accept cashless payments, which is a problem.
Last week I have ordered one big masala dosa from this restaurant via #zomato food app. I got a whopping 40% discount for my order from this restaurant. The quality of dosa is really good, however coconut soup along with sambar is less tasty. The restaurant is very famous in sovabazar area. I remember a few years ago I visited this resturant during puja holidays and my lunch experience was satisfactory.
You can try various veg dishes here like Dosa, Dai Vada, Raj Kachori,Radha Bhallovi etc. You can also try various delicious sweets Kulfi. Dosa price is bit costly and now a days it is not up to the mark.
