Jai Hind Dhaba is a hidden gem! The food here is absolutely amazing. From their flavorful curries to the mouthwatering tandoori dishes, every bite is a delight for the taste buds. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I can't recommend this place enough if you're a fan of delicious Indian cuisine.
The Food is Served within 15-25 mins and during busy hours within 30 mins, Pocket Friendly, Kids-friendly, The Quantity and the Quality of the food is really good.
Though the naans were a little hard compared to other places but over all 3.5/5
I’m pretty happy with their good food available at all hours of the day, their quick service and the consistency with which the establishment has run over the years.
Love the Indian food - aloo dopiaza is one of my favourites. Their chicken Bharta is a staple which most people order. I like it too. Their rolls which they term ‘fat-free’ are quite a popular item too. Delicious and wholesome, theee is the option of either chicken tikka or chicken Reshmi kebab wrapped in a roomali roti.
It’s a favourite after-party go to for most since it remains open into the wee hours.
Palak paneer and cheese garlic naan are a must try. Tandoori items are okayish. The washrooms are not clean.
Great North Indian restaurant with delicious sides. We had chicken tikka butter masala, chicken bharta, and with Butter Naan. Every single side was delicious, but the Chicken Tikka Butter Masala had us licking our fingers! Ambiance was ready to go. Overall, a great place to eat if you're craving Mughal-style side dishes and breads.
The service is extremely fast.
Overall, a fantastic dining experience!
An ardent food lover like me can say a number of sentences about food and if its Jai Hind Food - I probably would be conversing, for every morsel, I can vouch for the quality I have got everytime I have visited them.
Jai Hind is truly one on my favourites in the city. This Restaurant opens its doors for you till 3AM! And for Kolkata, where slumber is all you can possibly hear at 3, that's the buzz around Jai Hind for all Night Crawlers, looking for a place to pacify that hunger.
Amazing place with good food quality and absolutely a great place to visit and taste some kind of new foods thats are makes the place so ambient and the look of this restaurant is totally normal .the food is so delicious and the atmosphere is also very good. A budget friendly restaurant loves it...😇❤️The best thing about Jai Hind dhaba is that they are open till pretty late at night.. overall good experience.❤️
I went for lunch to this place looking for authentic Punjabi cuisine and I was not disappointed. But let me strictly advice you not to order anything from their chinese menu. The chinese menu is pretty mediocre at the place and will not please you if you have high expectations. Rather go for their punjabi menu. We ordered Chicken Tandoori and chicken lahsooni kebabs as starters. The chicken was tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. Loved it. Then we tried changing our directions by ordering soup which was a bad idea. It didn't meet our expectations. Though it wasn't not that bad but not worthy enough for a compliment. For main course, we ordered Dal Makhni, masala kulcha, garlic naan, chicken tikka butter masala, basmati rice and chicken bharta. Out of all these, the Dal Makhni stood out completely and was right on spot with a perfect 10. The taste was authentic, went perfectly with the garlic naan and I would gave given 5 stars if I was rating them only for their Dal Makhni. The chicken bharta would follow next in the ranking order in the main course. The taste and proportion were good and I wouldn't complain about anything in that. The garlic naan was indeed a good choice of bread for the food ordered but the masala kulcha and the chicken tikka butter masala kind of failed to impress. The masala kulcha was bland with too much of potatoes in it. It felt like it was trying to aim for both an Aloo paratha as well as a kulcha but failed both sides. The Chicken tikka butter masala was okaish. Nothing significant to compliment in that. The service is good. Ambience is decent. Overall, if you are looking for authentic north indian cuisine, strictly order north indian cuisine and you won't be disappointed.
Food in the midnight!
-Oh yes! Ofcourse!
Went there around 12:30 am in the night and surprised to see the jam-packed atmosphere. It was really nice see people dining there that late with us. This dhaba is good not great! Good for its atmosphere, late night servings, fresh food, reasonable dhaba price! Although, Food tasted quite average, butter chicken was okay and the mutton masala we ordered didn't have a great taste. The second negative I found from there was no proper availability of restrooms in the ground floor. There was one restroom but that lacks hygiene. Keeping aside all those, if you want to have a late night dinner with friends and families, this place might suit you!
Happy dining! 🌞
Great North Indian restaurant with amazing sides. We had chicken tikka butter masala, Chicken Bharta and Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala along with tandoori and rumali rotis. Loved each and every one of the sides, especially the Reshmi Butter Masala had us licking fingers! Ambience was good to go.. All in all a great place for dining in if you are craving for Mughal style side dishes and breads.
Well, this place needs no introduction for any food lover in the town. A fooding outlet opened till 4 in the morning, that serves some amazing delicacy that will leave you licking your fingers. A place equally good for vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
Easy to locate and courteous behaviour, this place will tickle your eating fantasies every now and then !
A place to must visit.
Amazing food, quality and quantity wise it surprises you.
If you really love good food, definitely you will be in love with here.
Both veg and non veg sections have a lot of varieties also.
Good staff, nice service and affordable price 🙂🙂
The best neighbourhood dhaba, good food, good taste but not hygienic I guess dhabas were not meant to be hygienic. Egg tarka was good and even the Kulfi was very tasty. It remains crowded and busy most of the time considering the location of the dhaba. Also it has a historic significance in its name and the Netaji pictures hanging inside. Overall a good dhaba with good food if you are not looking for good hygiene. Recommended.
This place is heaven. It's on the main road, very cheap, good quality and quantity food, tastes delicious, and budget friendly. The average cost for two people is 300. If you're kanjus like me and want to have some amazing food then this is the place. The staffs are friendly too.
