The restaurant serves authentic Chinese food. It is a no frills eatery where they serve good food. The owners are very polite and we leave the place with good memories (people & food). It has been established in the 1960's and is now currently run by the present generation. Noodles and chicken chill
We went to this restaurant by seeing the reviews about this place..
We've ordered
1) Veg noodles
2) hong kong vegetable choosy or so..(my apologies, can't remember the exact name)
3) Coke
The food was good..both quality and quantity wise.. but nothing extraordinary .. one can easily find the noodles
If you want authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price then this place is a must... Like the food is amazing,the staffs were very polite and humble and the service was also fast, we have tried their Hong Kong special fried rice and chicken steak both were quite affordable and the food was absolute
Nostalgic indeed. I am a regular at this restaurant for the last 10 years. The quality just seems to be getting better at every visit. Managed by a Chinese family who are cordial and hospitable. I make it a point to dine here whenever I visit the New Market Area. Homely and cheerful ambience.

Authentic Chinese food, the owner is an old man who prepares the food too. Had shredded chicken and fried rice, loved both of it.
This is one of our most favorite place to eat chinese food in Mirza Galib Street. The place is not too big. Its run by the chinese descendants living in Kolkata. Their foods are just awesome - dumplings, sichuan prawn, mixed noodles, mixed rice, soups, chicken chilli, chicken manchurian and so on. J

Me and my family went for a quick dinner into this restaurant. This is purely a chineses restaurant ..........,...... We ordered chicken sweet corn soup , dry chilli chicken , chicken and egg chowmin . Food was ok type , service was good and price was reasonable.....................
I had gone to have lunch in Hongkong Restaurant for the first time along with my daughter n son-in-law on Free School Street which I didn't know but the food was good n hope to go there again. Thanks

Small tucked in without any elaboration however good service and food.
It makes one of the juiciest steak in town! I love the food here, plus given the variety one can often revisit to a whole new experience.
