Went to celebrate my sister's birthday in a small manner. The place is good located beside Indismart hotel. We took a cake and were allowed to celebrate. But they didn't provide us anything complimentary even after requesting unlike other good places.
We ordered fried mutton (pieces were very small but good in taste), crispy chicken, chicken fried rice, Chicken Schzewan gravy and Chicken tikka butter masala along with cheese naan (not so good) and butter naan. Rest all items were good. Went for 70% discount via dineout.
It was a good overall experience and we really enjoyed over there. Personally liked the ambience and feel relaxed over there in weekends. The food quality is literally awesome and what i loved the most was mutton patiala and pasta. What I want them to add some more varieties in sea food starters and in mocktails and shakes.

We visited this place some days ago. We ordered BBQ tandoori chicken,Arabiatta pasta and Rasta man.
》The chicken was soft and juicy. It was marinated with spices and herbs. The tandoori chicken was tossed in bbq sauce. It just mouthwatering 😋

Smallish, but very clever use of space so it feels larger than it actually is. There's this line of ropes hanging from the ceiling, kinda divides the room into two sections. Different.
We ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken sausages and chicken nachos on repeat along with pitchers of kingfisher draught. The menu's long but not everything's available all the time.
Also, one of the rare places where Kamikaze shots and jaegerbombs cost the same.
Also, very good music. They played classics like working class hero before closing.

Nice Place which is located at Sector V area. Amazing place to hang out with friends. Prices are reasonable also and a good place t spend time there. In dessert, we opted for the cheesecake which has a chocolate crust.
I would specially like to mention the Morola Mach fry I had here recently. It was the best of all.Also the kebabs recommended by them was good. The ghee fried kajus, Oriental omlet and mutton patialla was brilliant. The price is very reasonable.
I was with friends during Durga puja to avoid crowds and I must say I was impressed with the over all experience.
The ambience is quite nice. Seating area is nice and comfortable.
Food was good. We ordered chilly fish which was crispy and cruncy just the way I like it.
I was really disappointed wit the sausage salad, there were very few pieces of sausage in it plus those were not stir fried nicely nor were the vegetables.
Then we went for chicken lasagna which was okish in taste.

A gastropub located at 10 minutes walking distance from College More, Sector 5, Saltlake.
The ambience is quite groovy and seating is comfortable. It is well arranged for large groups and parties.
We, a group of 8, walked in during the lunch hours and ordered a number of different dishes. I tried a bit from almost everything and here's what I liked the most-
• MUSHROOM A LA GREQUE- RECOMMENDED! A creamy mix of mushrooms served on crispy shortbread and topped with cheese. It tastes really good, the quantity was a bit less though.
• MUTTON PATIALA- RECOMMENDED! Mutton mince kasha wrapped in fried eggs. A must try!
• VEG PENNE ALFREDO PASTA- It was creamy and flavors were well balanced.
• CHEESECAKE- I loved the flavor of coffee in it and the texture was nice too. Good thing they didn't use too much whipped cream in it.
We also tried some other dishes like-
• Dahi Tikka Kebab
• Chicken Quesadilla
• Fish Lehsooni with Cheese
• Heb Crusted Fish Fillet
• Schezwan Prawns
• Mixed Fried Rice
• Lemon Tart- It had a strong smell of eggs (probably needed more essence)
Overall the food was satisfactory.
The staff and service are above average.

Bistro Y is a trendy pub in Sector 5 and I wanted to check it out. Thus, I headed off to this pub a few days back to enjoy their food and hospitality.

❤️Ambience: Wooden furniture and plush sofas bring out the coziness of this pub. The graffiti on the walls and catching frames are perfect for an Instagram friendly picture. The music is also fantastic and will get you to tap your foot in no time. Rating: 5/5

🔴Fish Lehsooni with Cheese (Garlic Flavored Fish Kebab):- Fish served as kebabs in garlic flavor, really tasty and the fish was so soft and juicy.
🔴Mutton Patiala (Mutton Keema Wrapped in Egg):- This dish is basically mutton keema stuffed egg, just wow taste. Must try at this place, the mutton was really juicy and well mixed with the spices and well stuffed in the fried egg.

🔴Alfredo (Veg & Non- Veg) (Penne Pasta in Aged Parmesan Cream Sauce):- penne pasta and parmesan cream sauce is a wonderful combination as usual. Tried this in a different style and was really satisfied.
🔴 Schezwan Prawn and 🔴Mixed Fried Rice:- It is the combo of chinese dishes, really liked their prawn preparation in schewan style and with mixed rice ( egg, chicken) it was just delicious.
🔵Dessert:- We ended our awesome meal with cheese Cake and Lemon Tart. the cheesecake was soft and perfectly made and lemon tart was too good.
Overall:- Overall it is a nice place to hang out and with amazing ambiance, food and drinks that too in an affordable;e price, this is the place you should look for at sector v for an amazing time.

Bistro Y is a restaurant cum bar situated in Salt Lake, Sector 5. A few minutes of walk from College More. You can easily locate it! The ambience is very attractive. The wall art really adds to the ambience. The place is quite spacious with cozy seating. You will surely love to have your friend and family over there. The service is quite fast. The staff is very friendly and courteous as well. Now coming to the food I tried out here,
🔸Mushroom A La Greque : This is basically button mushroom in a cheese wine toast served over a crunchy bread. The mushroom was creamy and delicious. The crunchy base really added more texture to the whole dish!
🔹 Chicken Quesadillas : Not a big fan of quesadillas because most places make the bread doughy and hard. But here it was soft and thin and also full of that scrumptious chicken.
🔸Fish Lehsooni Kebab : I really loved this kebab! This one is highly recommended. The fish had a strong hit of garlic which I totally loved. The fish was soft and fresh as well.
🔹Mutton Patiala : This one is highly recommended too! It's not only a unique concept but tastes amazing too. Mutton Keema Wrapped in Egg. My two favourites in one dish!
🔸Herb Crusted Fish Fillet : I really liked the way they presented and executed this particular dish. The fish crust had a nice little crunch and flavours were on point.
🔹Schezwan Prawn with Mixed Fried Rice : If you are looking for some chinese food to try out here, go for this combination. It's absolutely delicious.
And Lastly for dessert we tried out ,
🔸 Cheese Cake : Cheese cake tasted just fine. I loved the chocolate base. It also had a nice coffee flavour.
🔸 Lemon Tart : The lemon tart had a raw egg smell which made it a little unappetising. Although it tasted good when you ignore the smell.

Was here on a weekend with friends. This place is quite easy to spot and is very close to Decathlon in Sector V Saltlake. The pub has a wonderful decor and they play hard rock and classic rock mostly. We tried a couple of items from the menu.

I liked the cheese cake and felt that the lemon tart had the essence of eggs a bit too much. Had a wonderful experience here.
I loved the food and the ambience. The items are really tasty and unique. The staff is courteous. Theor cocktails are amazing.

I was a regular at this place during my college days 4 years back, due to the cheap booze and the non veg starters. Although back then, the good options were quite limited and the ambiance was not that great.
Fast forward 2019, my recent visit here with friends amazed me. Bistro has had a complete makeover in terms of the interior appearance and the new additions in the food and liquor sections.
Two things that I really love about the place is that, firstly the song selections. Being a rock music fan, i'm amazed that this is one of the few spots in the city where classic rock music of yesteryear s are still played instead of nonsensical bollywood party music. Secondly, the addition of a large projection screen for the sports fanatics, it is a great way to pull crowds.
I've already visited this place thrice in the last one month, beer pitchers along with chicken tikka and murg lasooni being my regulars when with my colleagues.
Service and staff behaviour is really good, and is a total value for money.
Visited the place on a Friday evening. Small congested place. Music was pleasant.
Cheese fries was pathetic. Limited options for vegetarian main course (3) or mocktails (4). The main course was avg. mocktails were poor. Virgin Mohito only had ice. Mango shake was poor.
What was good is the gratin & the quesadillas. Parking available in nearby street. For 4 persons veg food we paid around 2k. overall a pleasant experience. Not too expensive

Been to this place a few times. Great ambience. A bit loud on the weekends. Excellent food and reasonably priced drinks. Mutton starters and prawn starters are too good. Fish could be better. Noodles and most of the side dishes are tasty. The servers are well behaved and the service is quick. Overall, one of the best places to eat and drink. Neither cheap nor overly priced like many other restaurants in town.

A short walk from the office so wanted to have a try during weekends. It is spacious and decor is quite good. Quite decent and Zomato Gold is also accepted on 2+2 Drinks.

Visited this place with Sunit Acharya. We had Zomato Gold. Service is really good. Swapan was caring l, prompt in service. Kingfisher draught is there with reasonable price. I would recommend this place for best budget drinking place in Secror V. However, Zomato menu prices are outdated.

Bistro Y is my adda, my one of the favourite place on Earth. The weekend doesn't feel right if I don't visit Bistro Y. Indeed, it is a second home to me. Coming to the food, one can get vareity of dishes here. One should try Jamaican jerk chicken and Barbeque tandoori chicken here. The staff is very friendly and jolly especially Baban da and Santu da.They never hesitate to serve you and offer their hospitality. They always surprises us with some new desserts. Overall this place is cost effective, amicable and worthy enough to spend some quality time. Please do visit for a wonderful experience.

I think after sudden closing of opium, bistro Y is the most pocket friendly and quality pub located at sector v. The most impressive thing about this place is the behaviour of the staffs(eg-babai) and servicing which is very rare now a days. Fish n chips is a must try here. Its a small bar-cum-restaurant located in Sector-5 Salt Lake near the Decathlon outlet. The ambience is dark and rustic, typical of bars in city.
We ordered two dishes: Crispy Chilli baby corn and Paneer tikka.
Baby corn (3.5/5): The taste was good but the dish was too dry. You expect a little bit of gravy with this dish which adds to the spicy flavour.
Paneer tikka (5/5): The paneer was very soft and perfectly cooked. It was served with onions and mint chutney.
Some of the staff members were uninitiated about the functioning of the place and constantly had to consuly the manager to tackle our questions.
Not sure what to start with... overall good.. I liked ‘cause felt good considering 2 things primarily - service (guys are the quite friendly) & cool Chef 👨🍳 with whom I got a chance to discuss how was the fish 🐠 🐟 prepared.
And decent 🎧 🎵 🎶 too !
So the two of us decided to visit this quaint joint on Friday afternoon. Was a pity we couldn’t drink as we were still within office hours. The liquor menu was pretty good.A bit costly maybe but a good menu. The cocktails are cheap though. We ordered a Caesar salad and sausages. Super disappointed with the salad.Little chicken and only cabbages!!!! There is more to Caesar salad thab cabbages only.Felt like having just cabbage with a few chicjen stripes. Wasn’t worth the money. The chicken sausage was good though. Loads of veggies and sausages. The only reason you get a 4 is the courteous guy waiting on us. Friendly , cheerful and a superb guy on service. Its a pity I didn’t catch hos name or would mention it here as well.keep up the good job mate. You need to work on your food Cafe Bistro Y.
P.S: Remove the table under the wings graffiti. Could be a cool place to click pics!!!!
The place has a good ambience. Though the service is a little sluggish, specially during Friday evenings when the place swarms with IT crowd, the quality of food is great. You could expect a good time watching football over a beer.
There are a lot of options to enjoy yourself with your friends and colleagues, a no of varieties food is available there. Staff is also good and cooperative with any customers, I want to mention specially a dish "fish n chips" it's really amazing.
Everyone should try Tawa Chicken Tikka, that was their best. Mutton liver fry (too spicy) and lemon fried fish was also good.
Only thing was the capsicums could have been fried more. Otherwise the ambience and staff behavior was very nice.
Aww, this is really a nice place with charming ambience. You can go for any of their dishes and I bet it won't disappoint you. They provide really good service to the customers with utmost care. This has become my anyday, anytime shot. Everyone should give it a try at least.

Drinks offer very nice. Food specially starters were different & awesome tasting.

Pricing is Ok and if you r giving a treat it won't burn a hole in your pocket!!! If someone wants to spend some chillax time with friends or colleagues this is the place to be.

Visited this pub for the first time today. Appetiser’s were great. Staff behaviour was nice. The ambiance was on point too. Good place to hangout with friends and have some drinks/food.
Great place for relaxing and spending time with friends and loved ones. We visited here on Valentine's Day while they provided Valentine's love menu including complimentary dessert and shots. Staff were also very courteous. Pocket pinch is not very high.
Tandoori Juicy Chicken Tikka was the most yummiest wherein other dishes were also up to the mark.. the service was good. A good place for a treat or get-together with friends. Lovely experience.. as well as it's a kind of pocket friendly for a good mouthwatering treat for yourself.

Nice interior lounge style decor with an assortment sofa, chairs, high chairs etc. Dimly lit, moody interior with walls with paintings. They were playing 90s classic rocks. Not sure whether it was by intention but I need to admit that I have not been a place in recent times that play some of my favorite songs. Courteous staff. Prompt service.
We did not see the menu card and only told the waiter to bring some finger foods of their choice. They brought in French Fries, Fish Fries (not the Kolkata Fish Fry but similar to Gujons in UK), Reshmi Kabab, and Crispy Chili Corn. All tasted pretty good. Then they suggested a Chicken Veggie Saute and that turned out to be quite bland. One of our group members asked for some Rice and Yellow Dal Fry. The Dal Fry tasted nice as well. So, if you are in this pub, stick to the Indian or Indo-Chinese cuisine, and do not venture out in the continental section.
Recommended for a visit if you are in this area and have a craving for a quick booze and finger foods.
The place is quite good and the interior is the perfect one if you want some Gazz music with a drink... And finger licking food options are available...
If you love peaceful dining places, this place is not for you. It's a loud music pub. Now, come to the food part. The food was awesome. We ordered dry chilli chicken, fish and chips, chicken tikka kebab, chicken fried rice, chicken noodles, gravy chilli chicken, and lastly brownie with ice cream. The brownie was a disappointment. The portion was small as per the price and the cake was a bit bitter. We went during the Zomato carnival offer that's why it was worth going.
It's a must place to try, the waiter is very very professional & friendly. They'll add suggestions & some free offerings to your order from time to time. The ambience is on point, drinks are good & food is just awesome. Social distancing is followed, also every payment method is accepted.

The food was excellent... But the serving time was quite late than usual.....
The most important things to note:
1) People smoke 🚬 here and the rest of the crowd gets disturbed.
2) Atleast drinking water should be free of cost........than being paid!
Went to Bistro Y with my colleagues on a saturday. The ambience was nice. We ordered crispy chilli baby corn, paaner tikka, chicken tikka for the starter and for the main course butter garlic naan with paaner butter masala and chicken bharta. For the drinks we had Budweiser, Carlsberg Premium and Cranberry Breezer and coke. The veg items weren't up to the mark especially paneer tikka was tasting under cooked with raw species as marination sticking to it. Other than that the staff were very friendly and accomodating.
Nice environment. Behavior is nice. We went there after the lockdown was lifted. So it was not so much crowded. We ordered famous Lemon Fish then we tried Chicken chowmein with Schechuan Chicken.
Very nice staff behaviour I really appreciate their guest service manner..Price is also ok..Only beer cost little high as compared with other like 105 MRP beer sale on 330 which is little costly but accepted with their abmience and service ..I try there mixed rice ,mutton and Nan all are best ..Also one of the suggest special beer which is cost 330 and also give me 10% discount so i am happy ..
One of my favourite Pub is Bistro-Y. I went there many times. Staff are really very good & friendly. Food quality also very good. Collection of wine is pretty good. Highly recommended for everyone who want to spend a quality time with your partner or friends in affordable price. You might get extra discount with my recommendation. 😇

Main course is also quite admirable. We have tried chicken bbq steak. I prefer steak more creamy and with mashed potato but there preparation is quite good they serve it with veggies and slightly burnt potato which is good.
Kadai chicken was also well prepared .
