Ram bonde is very much testfull. I just love it
It is just beside Bhim Chandra Nag...another paradise of sweets...I love their Victoria Sandesh..a tricolored one...pink yellow and green..lovely...mom love their Chanar Gaja Cham cham rajbhog etc...they make excellent Chanar murki...recommendable
Visited their shop on Misti Hub yesterday. I have taken gur rasogolla. I was looking for this type of rasogolla for quite sometime. Finally, got exact what I was looking for. This is not sponge type which are generally available at Kolkata. I liked it very much.
Today I ordered rossogula, chamcham and chanar goja. All those items are very good. Size of the rossogula is very big and it is very soft. But chanar goja is best among them.
Having their sweets for at least 15 years. Their quality detoriated a bit. But the taste can still beat any renowned shops in kolkata. Their nikuti, chitrakoot and chanar polao ar really worth every penny spent.
This is a place where you look especially for Dahi and also other sweets. Amriti is also good. Current generation is running the shop successfully and being known to me personally, is a nice human being as well.
Perfect tasty kochuri and alurdom. Don't expect the ambience to be modern. It's the authencity that matters. Very good quality sweets. Satisfying breakfast.
Naba Krishna Guin is a good sweets store at Bowbazar area. I have been here a few number of time and I found this place good. The sweets quality is satisfactory. This place masters in Sandesh. They have a variety of different sandes ranging from Chocolate sandesh, Golap Sandesh, Taalsandesh and more.
If you are planning to visit this place you must try the Sandesh here. Recommend.
Golap Sandesh , Chocolate Sandesh , Pesta Sandesh and Sankh Sandesh are the items I tasted here and yes all were good no doubt about it , but needs to keep the place clean.
Intro : Well Known mishti shop , this was my second visit ,
Food : Khirer chop and Golap Sandesh - Tasted good , the sabdesh has a rose petal on it and hence the name !
Went for pandal hopping around Central Kolkata on this maha-saptami and what did I discover? This excellent place for a nice and lite breakfast. Naba Krishna Guin is one of the several traditional sweet shops of the area. Don't ask me the location as I have poor knowledge of Central and North Kolkata, all I can say is it's located just beside Bhim Chandra Nag sweet shop.
The place serves excellent luchi with dal in the morning which we had for breakfast. We also had their special bonde as they had run out of mihidana that day. It very tasty and non sticky unlike other bondes I have tasted.
Pricing was cheap, just ₹5 per those mini luchis and dal was complementary. Bonde was priced as per weight.

The boro bonde , the victoria sandesh ,the butterscotch sandesh all r just yum yums . One of the oldest shops in kolkata , very neat and tidy ,staff behaviour is an average , on several occassions I have seen an empty counter with no staff and customers frantically searching for them .. but the heavenly taste of their sweets are sure to bring the sweet smile to your face..no place to seat yourself , just takeaway and enjoy..
You cannot miss the Boro Bonde of this traditional shop. The very tasty Ghee Poha during holi & Khaja on bhai phonta are bonus for every sweet lover. The best thing is that you can get these two sweets even 10 days post their respective occasion. It has turned out to be a brand for its unique taste.
'Naba Krishna Guin' is the famous for their Bonde. It is the old sweet shop in kolkata. All sandesh are very tasty. If you go there don't miss their yellow coloured 'Chita Bhog'.They have changed their name, new name is 'New Naba Krishna Guin'.
this is one of the best sweet shop in kolkata, u can try there Victoria sandesh excellent
One of my favourite sweet shop, famous for it's MISTI DOI.
Try out if you want a taste of north calcuttan pure bengali misti experience.
A must visit iconic sweet shop in Kolkata, Bhim Nag makes the best sandesh in West Bengal! Their Nolen Gur er Talsash is hands down the best. Do give it a try. Also their sweets are a bit pricey. The best sandesh range usually starts from 30/- to 40/- Rupees.
very old & traditional sweet shop known for its famous "বোঁদে"
An old world charm...khirmohan... Ram bonde... Cchanar murli.. awesome. Traditionally these are the sweet shops who were usually contacted for large orders and tailor made sweets needed for various occasions like marriage, upanayan and celebrations. They have an unique taste and approach in rendering such orders. Must try
One of the oldest sweet shops of Kolkata. This is a sweet heaven and their chhanar murki is my all time favourite. They have amazing sweets and huge variety to choose from.
The quality of their sweets are up to the mark. You should try "ghee poya" during dol jatra/holi. They usually sell ghee poya from 2-3 days before holi to 2-3 days after holi.
Traditional sweet shop. I have really good and tasty memory of this place
Loved it always, but the shop inside Hidaram Banerjee Lane is much much better
Not much variety but good quality and taste.
Great varieties of sweets and they maintain quality too.
Genuine price. Good quality
