While growing up, visiting Lords Ultadanga was a regular affair. However lately it has deteriorated and the only reason it attracts crowd is because of its legacy. Coming back to the Lords Kestopur branch, I haven't visited them however I pass by the restaurant regularly. It was only recently when on a lazy rainy evening I thought to give this place a try. I ordered chicken spring roll from swiggy as it had been probably years without having a good spring roll. I honestly didn't have too much expectations but I am so glad that they changed my perception. The food was so hot that I could barely touch the packet. It was fresh and tasted delicious. Maybe not the best spring roll I have ever had but a close second. They cut it into four pieces and it was just perfect for the rainy evening. My only complain is that they didn't give any tomato ketchup pouch with the roll. I really hope to try other items from them soon and be equally delighted about the food.
Lords restaurant in kestopur is a small joint with decent food..i have been there nd even got food delivered home a thousand times..they serve the best american chopsuey..the noodles r slender nd crisp.i even love their graliic prawns..the dry chili chicken nd chicken buttermasala r the dishes i order again and again..all items on the menu r not extraordinary though..bt i recommend tryn out the American chopsuey once
Had given office lunch party here at Lords kestopur. Food is really good and ambiance is nice but the service is very poor. Had to wait for long after ordering.... You can visit there but you should carry an hour or more to enjoy dining....
This is a good option for the people who r having low budget. They serve u a good amount of rice and noodles.. I love the egg gravy noodles.. I haven't tasted any tandoor item but can definitely tell that the chinese they serve is really good for low budget lunch or dinner
AN AGE OLD CHINESE RESTAURANT STILL MAINTAINING ITS QUALITY.
* Location : After a long years I have come across this age old restaurant just at the Kestopur mor,VIP crossing. It is always a very crowded mor,so location is very easy to find and an eye catching huge sign board of the restaurant is also there.
* Ambience : I had visited nearly after 10 years and found the same decor and ambience ; calm, quiet, pleasant, spacious large halls divided into 2 parts; one in front is non a.c and another bigger hall is a.c. Very clean, comfortable chairs around, their ambience attract lot of local people especially @ dinner time. I always like this quiet surroundings. (rating 9 on 10)
* Food : I always stick to the normal though tasty Chinese items in general Chinese restaurant. So I ordered :
1. Mixed Fried Rice : Same old taste and very good taste. Its really good to see even in this tough competitive market, they have been maintaining a quality food with a good quantity. Prawns and chicken pieces were very impressive. (rating 8 on 10)
2. Chicken hakka noodles : After a long days I had taken noodles and it was satisfactory in every means. Noodles here is a popular item, every tables were going for it. (rating 8 on 10)
3. Chicken Sweet and Sour : Fresh and garnished veggies immediately swallowed into our mouth and it was awesome. (rating 9 on 10)
4. Fresh lime Soda : As usual.
* Price : Most of the reviews are against price tag, but I didn't find anything wrong or over priced. Its quite reasonable.
* Management : They always give you hot and fresh food. So,some time is required in cooking. you have to give them this much time. In the meantime you can enjoy their mocktails; those are quite refreshing. Good management overall. (rating 8 on 10)
* Why recommended : Good Chinese food with lot of varieties @ moderate rate. Priyabrataa Ganguly
They were well known for their Biryanis. And till date do a fair job in that segment. Chinese food is alright. Takeaway services do need improvement. Overall good experience.
This restaurant was empty at peak time 2pm. I saw a small rat, running here-there. Plz keep ur restaurant clean. Parcelled mixed fried rice and chilli mutton. But I found it has taste in both dishes. Rice has full of soft chicken pieces, lots of eggs, shrimps! And the side dish, mutton was tender, not so chewy!
A lot of memories of high school. Would visit twice every week with school friends for chinese. Was a house of taste and budget food for students like us. But lately the prices have risen and taste has lost it's way a little! Would like to see it return to it's former self!
wooh....so many bad reviews...well I too had a pretty bad impression about this place based on my previous visit...But on my last visit to this restaurant, Surprisingly Lords pleased me quite well...
When we entered into the restaurant,It was totally empty...which I found kinda weird...we quickly ordered Mixed hakka chowmein, chicken prawn fried rice , Lemon chicken , chilli mutton and egg foo young...
The chowmein was yummy...The Fried rice too was cooked well with loads of soft chicken chunks...The lemon chicken was light tasted for my liking...But I just loved the chilli mutton, not just the aroma or the rich taste ,the portion was large, and the meat was so tender...
I truly dint have any expectations from Lords...But now I will definitely recommend this place...just give it a try... :-)
It's the same old Indian Chinese food. Not that yummy like chowman. Any way it's totally up to you. they are trying their best but i think they can't change the taste to some extent. so better you can have their food once in 2-3 months

Food: After long wait of 20 mins we had our Chinese as we decided to have Chinese. Tandoori Chicken - 7/10Mix Rice - 5/10 Chilly Chicken - 6/10 Prawn Chilly - 6/10 Dry chilly fish - 6.5/10 C.Hakka noodle - 7.5/10.
QNQ & Prices: Lords quality and quantity is always better. Prices are affordable here.
The Conclusion: It was to be disappointing from my end. According to Lords standards this is not the food I know.
Note: The review is based on my personal visit and experience to this place.
