So It Was My Cousin's birthday. And He lovess Chinese. So how to surprise him in this lockdown situation. Well Let's order from Chowman!! Duh, the best Chinese near us anyday. So with this plan I ordered, One Chilli Chicken Wine, One Special Mixed Fried Rice and one Special Mixed Noodles.
Now let's talk about the packaging and safety, the food packets were properly Packed under two layers of plastic, and They have also given us the card showing the temperature of the cook & the Zomato Valet.

Okay to be fair, Mixed Noodles and Chowman Special Mixed Noodles aren't that much different, just addition of some elements. Obviously it tasted great, no doubt. But I expected it to be something out of the box.

The standout amongst all. It was so good that I have to say it was one of the best Chinese I have ever had. With the Mixed Fried Rice it was match made in heaven. The tangy flavour of the wine made the dish so spectacular. One of Chowman's best. Recommended.

Was craving for a dine in experience since the lockdown was lifted. Chowman was happily welcoming the guests. As this was my sole visit post lockdown and even to Chowman, was anxious about the hygiene. However, the effort they have put in for sanitizing every guests, offering disposals for eating and the sparkling clean ambience, was a confidence filled dine in experience. Coming to food, have tried barbeque chicken and it was salvitating. With proper heat, right sauces and flavour in place, crisp yet tender and fresh chicken, it was one of the finest dish I have tasted in recent times. Additionally, we tried Shanghai noodles, it was also well prepared, added spices, sufficient quantity and well savoured with coke float, everything was in right place for the taste buds!
All the necessary precautions have been taken in this outlet. The food as always is amazing and the best Chinese you can have in Kolkata.

So i went to this resturant during the pandemic time...it was for my birthday celebration. I was worried about the social distance but this resturant just took my tension away..they maintained the social distance very well at the same time proper sanitization was there..

Really like the calm and cosy ambience, i love visiting this outlet because of their extravagant momos and glass noodles. Their noodles are absolutely to die for nevertheless the rice always seemed very basic and overhyped according to the prices charged.

It also contains a moderate quantity of tender chicken pieces, egg, prawns, and fresh seasonal vegetables. A perfect dish for main course. It went well Chicken main course item.
⚜️ Fish in Oyster sauce- This was favourite main fish item in the Asian cuisine. This item well complemented with Fried Rice. This item was really amazing in taste.
⚜️ Wok Tossed Hakka Noodles (Chicken)- The Hakka noodles was very delicious in taste It also contains a moderate quantity of chicken and egg. Chopsticks were also provided. A perfect dish for main course.
⚜️ Teriyaki Chicken- They served lovely pieces of mouth-watering chicken. The taste of the chicken item was delicious. It complemented well with wok tossed Hakka noodles.
Starting from starter to main course everything tasted perfect. All the items were delicious and too much tasty, and they give very quantity. We especially tried a host of their Chinese dishes and they are enriched in flavour as well as portions. The place knows what they are serving and do justice to their dishes. 😋
💰Pocket pinch: - Pinch for two is ₹ 1000- ₹ 1200 for a great delightful experience.

The dinning experience has been outstanding.
The way they maintain the safety measures; starting from temperature check to hand and shoe sanitizing before entering, using disposable plates, spoons and forks of extremely sturdy and fine quality plastic, keeping hand sanitizers on every table and even e-oder placing on app replacing physical menu cards are simply amazing.
The best part is amidst all the added safety maintenance pressure the quality of the food hasn't gone down one bit.

Yesterday me and my friend had our lunch at our fav place Chowman ... Love to eat here always... This outlet follow all the safety rules. As we came here to enter they gave us spray at our shoe,then check our temp ,they note down our ph no and name after that we can enter the chowman... (for this they charged 25/- per person) , Setting arrangement done as per safety rules,also have sanitizer bottle in table, they provide their menu card at table and also send that to my whtsapp no. We write down our order and send it to the staff through whatsapp for contactless dining ...orderd chowman's special mixed noodles and dry chilli chicken...
They gave packed disposal plate glass spoon and fork to us..
Now come to the main point..the Delicious food.. Mixed noodle have prawn,chicken,egg.. Yaammyy... and the dry chilli chikn is too good..just melt in my mouth..
Ambience was good , always sanitize their outlet as we have seen today..staff were really polite..
Overall very nice to have lunch after a long time...in a secure place..

visited this place just a day before holi. recieved warm greetings from the staffs as soon as we enter.
ambience was good enough with dimed light and music.we ordered -
1. Sliced Chicken Schezwan - shredded chicken cooked in schezwan style which was spicy enough and tasted great as the starter.
2. Chicken Shanghai Noodles.
3. Chicken Singapore Noodles.
both noodles were so good in taste but we personally liked the sanghai noodles more than the singapore one.
4. Roasted Chilly Pork in Schezwan Sauce - 12 pieces of pork were served with prefect mix of spices in schezwan sauce
quality and quantity of the food was really appreciable. each and every item we had is enough for 2 person. still we 3 managed to have all and that was enough for 3 of us. we had 2 cold drinks also.
the all total bill was near about 1100.

The test of the food is very good(quality food). Environment is also fabulous. The behaviour of the waiters is also good. I like it too much.
This place is just a few mins walk from the maidan metro station. We ordered a mixed cantonese noodles,chilli chicken gravy and a chicken fried rice. The service was very good by mr sujit. The cantonese noodles and chilli chicken were good in quantity and quality . 2plates of fried rice would suffice 3 people. The fried rice was good but it contained very less chunks of chicken. Overall a good experience!
The Crispy Chilli Fish (Beckti/Bhetki) was 10/10 dish and a must for all the fish lovers. The quantity they provided in a rice bowl was adequate for 3 person. The food quality was quite satisfactory.

Pepper Garlic Fish was really good in taste . 8.5/10
Chicken Fried Rice had almost no chicken in it . We got Egg in the whole rice . And also the taste wasn't upto the mark . Just okay type . You can't say that's a FRIED rice . Maybe Boiled/vaporized rice . But the proportion was nice . 5/10
Mixed Rice had some steamed prawn in it . Prawn size was prominent but again the taste of Rice wasn't that good , and just as the chicken rice the mixed rice was also having very less chicken in it . But the proportion was nice again. 5/10
Chicken Manchurian was really good in taste . Quality and quantity was realy nice . 8/10
Hongkong Chicken was even better than Chicken Manchurian in taste . And also the quantity of this item was good enough . 8.5/10

Chowman is a must try for Oriental cuisine lovers. Thought we have visited during festive time when they were serving limited items, but overall the taste of foods and the quality of service was too good.
