They have variety if pastry, cupcakes, sandiwich, cakes, etc. The taste and quantity and price ratio is good, also the taste mainly of pastry is quite good.

This place makes awesome hot chocolate brownies. The brownies are loaded with chocolate and molten hot chocolate sauce is poured over it. It is a staple of mine,as I order it quite frequently.
Last day, I was returning from a place and was hungry like hell and tried a new place- Cake and bake.
It is located at Sector 1 (AD BLOCK), just opposite to the Axis Bank; Salt Lake.
More specifically beside the rollick ice parlour. Very easy to locate.
The place is not very big but has decent space with a few number of seats.
The prices are reasonable for succulent food they serve.
They serve - Cakes, pastries, desserts, tarts, burger, puffs, brownie , patties, buns, breads, pizzas, sandwiches and mentionably ice creams too.
My recommendations are-
Flavoured buns , pizzas , brownies, sandwiches and butter scotch pastry.
Quality of the food is good.
The buns are very filling and interesting.
I have never tried such buns before.
So overall, it was a nice experience being there for the first time alone.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those who are looking for a change and taste new food items instead of the same things of the old brands. ✌🏻

6. Gondhoraj Bhetki Puff: A spongy puff stuffed with chunks of bhetki maach and having an esscence of ghondhoraj. The taste of bhetki coupled with the esscence of ghondhoraj lebu makes it delicious!
7.Mutton Rezala Puff: A puff filled delicious mutton rezala inside.
8. Mutton Kasa Bun: This is their signature dish. It is basically a bun filled with mutton kasa chunks inside and the crust having coriander leaves.

It was not just those cakes, the savouries also made me happy...
We had koraishutir purbhora patties, mutton rezala patties, gondhoraj bhetki puff, kosha mangsho r bun and apart from these we had mihidana crossaint, rabdi patties, Makha sandesher swiss roll & last but not the least Rasmalai mousse..
I personally felt that mutton rezala patties, rabdi patties and rosomalai mousse was just trying to compete each other..

Bong food goes global with Cake and Bake

The pineapple cake was good. But I would say it was not worth its price. It could have been much better. It was decent piece of cake. Regarding the delivery it was on time.

So,i'd read about this quaint yet inviting little bakerey on a foodies group on Facebook,decided to give it a try today.Also,the fact that the Sec-1(salt lake) outlet is at about 5mins distance from my home helped.The place is easy to spot and is housed in the same building as the Rolick room oppsite the BD block bus stop.Since it was already a tad late and dinner would be served at home i decided to go with their much raved about masala chicken bun.Let me warn you its a hge bun and could've been dinner by itself.The bun was light bodied with shavings of chicken sprinkled all over it topped off with herbs.I thought it was dirt cheap at 55bux a piece.Infact any savoury here is below 100 the most expensive being the lebanese roll at 80.Now,for the most amazing part,they unlike all other cake shops don't reheat the bakes in a microwave oven but in a otg.That as per me keeps the bakes tasting fresh.Overall,a super value for money place.If you live around and are craving a bake do givr these guys a try and you will not repent it.

Today I asked for a butter cream cake at 6.30 pm and it was not available at that moment...but she told that she will arrange it for me within an hour and she made it.....it's yummy and just fabulous to taste ....I ended my dinner with the lovely desert....everyone should try it.....

This bakery outlet located beside Opium serves fresh baked items and is a refreshing change from the preservation rich baked products that are found in the other bakeries.
The bakery is run by a home Baker and thus the products are innovative too.
Some of the products that I prefer from the outlet are the coconut infused jam rolls, the choco tarts and the muffins. Try their puffs which are soft and fresh.
There are also some humus based savoury items which are available on a pre order basis.

Good bakeries are always loved by me! One such good bakery is Cake and Bake. Located at Sector 1, Saltlake, this cute little bakery has a lot to offer. And the best thing about this place? They have proper seating arrangements for those perfect adda sessions over a plate of gooey chocolate cake!
I was invited here along with Subham Ghosh for a tasting session. And although I was tempted to try everything on display, we opted for the Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Burger. The sandwich tasted good, only a tad bit dry. But the burger was really good. That's all that we had from the savoury section.
Coming to the best part, the sweet ending! We chose Pineapple Pastry, which tasted extremely fresh and heavenly. Next up we tried the Caramel Pastry which was again a delight. However the stunner of the evening was the Choco Addiction Pastry which was a sinfully gooey chocolate cake. If you're a chocoholic then this one's for you!
The pricing is reasonable and this is indeed a place which'll prosper! Loved the experience.

Cake and Bake is the newest addition to the bakeries in the city. They currently have two outlets in Salt Lake - one in Sec 1 and the other in Sec V. The best part is that each of the outlets have a limited yet proper seating arrangement. So you don't need to stand and eat, which is the case with most cake shops.
Coming to the dishes on offer, they have a wide range of cakes, pastries, cookies, breads and savouries. Everything is moderately priced. The pastries really look sinful. I tried three of them.
The Pineapple Pastry tasted very fresh. It was stuffed with juicy pineapple chunks. The Caramel Pastry had a subtle flavour. The caramel coating tasted great. My favourite among the lot, was the Chocolate Addiction Pastry. It was very chocolaty and tasted heavenly. You must try this if you love chocolate.
Among the savouries, I had the Cheese Sandwich and the Chicken Burger. I felt the sandwich to be a little dry. The burger had a soft and moist patty. It tasted good, though a little more seasoning would have made it wonderful.
Overall, if you're looking for a decent option to satisfy your sweet tooth, this must be in your list.
Cake and Bake..... I love them! Tried their brownie,chicken burger and cheese chicken puff.. Personally I loved the cheese chicken puff.. And what should I tell you about the Brownie which is superbly awesome.. It was rich,moist and what not. I went the next day and grabbed some more from their AD block outlet.
Your go-to place for "desserts" and "savories", taste and quality is exceptional. Prices are easy on your pockets.
With two new outlets in Salt Lake, Cake and Bake is a great initiative and is all set to spoil your tastebuds!! It is a perfect alternative for the prevailing brands which charges much higher for similar products. I tried the Choco Truffle Boat, Chocolate Truffle and Jam Drop Cookie, Choco Chip Muffin and black forest cake. Firstly the visuals: each item was well finished with attention to minute details. The taste was premium and indeed a quality product.

Cake and Bake was initiated by a home baker. After operating for two years from home, she transformed her dream into an outlet. She also has another outlet at Sector 5. The AD block outlet is located opposite to AXIS bank, and sandwiched between Rollick and a boutique. easy to locate. The place is not very big, and its spik and span.
The bakes are displayed, making it easier for you to choose. The prices are extremely reasonable. This could be your option for those not wanting to try very expensive cakes, and for those who dislike the old brands existing in the market.
The crunch nutty chocolate, the jam drop cookies, the black forest cake - stole my heart. The savory items are equally good - pizza, puffs, burger. Highly recommended for takeaways or sit downs.
