Food & services (3.5 - 5) that's the place they really need to improve , my experience was not that amazing , the price to quality ratio is not that great and there is no exclusive menus it's just the normal ones like other cafe .
Over all keeping the avg food aside it's a must visit place for all the FRIENDS lovers . It dose melts hearts .

Paradise for ppl who love FRIENDS. Although its a very small place, the best part for me was Monica's apartment door, the Orange couch and Friends being played on TV. Some karaoke performance like Phoebe's and foosball table would be a much welcome addition for FRIENDS fans. Coming to the food-
Ross's Moist Maker Sandwich- Got it with the note😍 taste wise it was not that great. Would have been better if it was more cheesy.
Mixed Sauce Pasta(rose)- Recommend. It tasted divine and perfectly cooked.
Black Current Cheesecake- Nothing extraordinary. Not that great.
Would suggest the management to switch off the music as nothing much could be heard from the TV which was playing FRIENDS. Kind of misses the whole point of visiting there and binge watching.
Came here after checking Zomato coz it was close to my hotel. The place is easy to find the ambience is okay with a lot of F. R. I. E. N. D. S. Photographs and write ups. Ordered the Monica's Mud Pie, they said their oven just got burnt and they won't be able to serve it. Ordered the Alfredo Pasta, it was below average. The Oreo Cookie shake was a pretty good end.
Well,I have been here with my friends. The food was really good. All of us enjoyed it. The ambience is also good. The only flaw,I would say is they take a lot of time to serve.
The place is easy to find and is well decorated. Just like any other themed food joint, prices are a bit on the higher side. Quality of food and service is also pretty good. However, the menu is not quite interesting and lacks variety. We tried cheese mushroom sandwiches and Monica's muslim. The mudpie was tasty.
That one may even think of presenting varied flavours of Indian Cuisine on a platter, which is not just robust at its core but dogmatic too, seems like a tricky proposition. But not at F.R.I.E.N.D.S CAFE, the hot new addition of "Fusion Indian Platters" is something worth experiencing.
From Kashmiri Aloo Dam to Haryali Kebab, there's something for everyone to satisfy their taste buds!

Very expensive! But then you are a F.R.E.I.N.D.S fan right? Food is lovely; just the right quantity and the right taste. There is a seperate lounge for hookah where episodes of F.R.I.E.N.D.S keep playing. I had a lovely time with my friends here :)

Okay, firstly I'm a hugeee FRIENDS fan and I was too excited when I first heard about it opening soon. Though I liked the ambience and the idea of a Central Perk in Kolkata, but the TV playing Friends was a disappointment. I don't know why but I didn't like the idea of it. The food was good, but a little overpriced. Kitkat shake was good. The cutlery in which the drinks were served was very impressive.
Being a huge Friends fan I was always excited to visit this place. I fell in love with this place the very first day. Starting with the decor, the iconic purple door, Joey's dog, Phoebe's bicycle and of course the orange couch will catch everyone's eyes and make you remember about the show. This place is divided with one part being the cafe and the other a hookah parlour. The interior is decorated with friend's goodies and with quotes and pictures from the show. They run the episodes one after another.
Coming to the food I ordered pizza AL fungi, Mac and cheese and the mud pie. To be very honest I didn't expect it to be this good. They know how much cheese to put and how the pie should be made. The food was great.
Just a single drawback is that the place is bit small. Or else pricing and other aspects are good. Would love to visit again soon.

Had an urge to visit this place for a long time. Was looking for an oppertunity to revisit those f.r.i.e.n.d.s memories. Yesterday got a chance to be there with my 'friends', but it was nothing as expected. A small cafe displaying quotes and all of friends, nothing in compare to that legendary cafe. Even that sofa is always reserved. On the tv linking park n justein beiber was being played. Coming to food we ordered brownie with ice cream, rachel's trifle and cheesecake. To me it was good as i dont have much idea abt those trifle n cakes. It was quite expensive. Had a good time. But that place can be far more modified. +.5 star for atleast thinking about making such place.
Easy to spot cafe. Two minutes walking distance from priya cinema. The ambience is really good. The food is also good. The staff is friendly. Nachos and mud pie is a must try. A really good experience.
Being a due heart F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan I thought I'd give it a try. Well I really wanted to try lasagna (partly because I'm a monica geller fan) then ended up trying The moist maker . Which was accompanied with a lot of French fries. I'd say that the atmosphere was "friendly". Staff was good,intact he suggested that I should have moist maker. Along with it I had a glass of lime soda. All over it was a nice experience. But it was a tiny bit over priced.

Central Perk right in the heart of South Calcutta! Central Perk just behind Deshapriyo Perk.
The vegetarian cafe , which serves quick bites, beverages made quite a buzz even before opening its doors. Dialogues from the 6-some on the walls, fun facts from the TV show, props like Pat the dog but most importantly, the large orange couch-The Central Perk style-is what makes this 70 seater cafe such a fun place to hang out.
Food- Cost is definitely on a higher side. Secondly, though the food is good but service is damn slow. You can get a feel of Rachael cooking and serving for you. We ordered for a Mac-n-cheese. and Monica's mudpie. Now, we had to wait for 1hr yes. 1hr for Mac-n-cheese. More 30min for Monica's Mudpie.
Undoubtedly the food was left with no chance to complain but their service was even slow than Rachael.
Overall this place us definitely a place to visit for true blooded F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fan! And. Many details have been incorporated on the walls which will be definitely loved by a F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fan.

Always wanted to land at this place, obviously because of its name. Food is naïce. 👌 Zoey's Pizza tops the chart. Ambience is cute with different facts about friends on the wall and photo frames. Overall good place to chill.

Based on this theme, this place is well decorated with the all time favourite quotes of the characters. The food is awesome. Lasagne and mudpie, they're pure love. ❤

I would have rated full 5. Based on a particular theme like this, I felt the TV should feature some episodes of FRIENDS rather than the typical Bollywood songs.
Ignoring this, it was all worth the money.

Oosum place. The food is delicious. The decor couldn't be better. Location is great. All in all, this cafe ticks all the boxes aptly. The "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" gang, just go in there and grab a Joey's special.

I have been there twice.
The first time, we ordered Margherita Pizza, Cranberry Fusion and Cafe Latte.
The Pizza was soo cheesy that we ordered it even on our second visit.
We ordered the FRIENDS special drink and i loved it !!
We also tasted Cheese Chicken Sandwich, it came with fries and was quite tasty.
The Margherita Pizza is a must try!
The decor is wonderfull and it has Phoebe's guitar, Monica Geller's Door, the couch, Pat, the dog and the fooseball too !

Nice decor and ambience. The cafe has a separate seating arrangement for hookah too. One downside of this cafe is that it serves only veg food. Being situated in deshapriya park I feel it should have catered to non veg food too since this area has a greater footfall of non vegetarians. Food is average. Price on the higher side. I found the Can cooler drink very refreshing.

FOOD- Okay talking about the taste, I had ordered the following dishes for two of us :-
Potato Roesti- Me and my friend, being cheese lovers, we ordered for this dish with extra cheese on it. And man oh man, this was the best of all the Roestis I have tried till date. A perfect crisp potato base divided in two portions, one of cheese and the other salsa sauce ; this was definitely a delicious dish.
The sauce was a blend of tangy, sweet flavours which was very exotic.
And anything with Cheese on it is automatically a tasty dish ;-)
Mushroom Cheese Pasta- Star Dish!! This was the best thing we ordered that day. Me being a mushroom lover, always look for dishes which is solely mushroom based. I am very particular about the taste of pasta and I don't like it of every place just for the sake that it's Pasta.
I have a few handful favourite places which serve the best Pasta in the city.
And this cafe been added to my list :D
The sauce they prepared was a blend of cheese and mushroom which was so finely made that it tasted heaven I.e very delicious.
I must say it was a finger licking dish.
Freek's Shake- Normally we order individual shakes in cafes like KitKat Shake or Brownie Shake or Oreo Shake etc. This shake was a blend of KitKat, Oreo and Brownie with icing of freshly whipped cream, colourful gems, and chocolate sauce.
It tasted good and was refreshing.
SERVICE- Since we went in afternoon, it wasn't crowded much and the service was pretty decent.
AMBIENCE- Obviously all Friends Fanatics are going to love this place. The wall is full of quotes, pictures, information etc about the Friends TV Series. They have this sofa set which replicates the one in the series, they have Phoebe's cycle hung up on the wall in the hookah section ( they have both Hookah and Non Hookah sections)
All in all, they have tried replicating the Bar they show in the Serial.
I would definitely visit this place again because there are few other dishes I wanted to try but I was so full with cheese ;-)

Being a fan I loved this place! But I would be happier if they played Friends on that TV instead of random music videos. I asked one of the staffs too because I have been reading the reviews on Zomato and people said that they play Friends all the time but he said they have stopped playing it now. I mean why? Why would they stop playing Friends in a café themed as it?
Friends playing in a Friends themed café eating the food they loved? Life just couldn't have gotten better!
Also some stuffs were missing. I have looked at the pictures of this café so many times that I literally memorized almost all the stuffs of this place. The Central Perk frame was missing. Joey & Chandler's white dog was not there today. Also, we couldn't find the picture of Gunther over the cash counter.
All these things jotted down in me being a little disappointed.
Staffs were courteous, though.
Coming to food, we ordered Ross' The Moist Maker and Monica's Mud Pie.
The sandwich was okay. The lettuce inside wasn't fresh enough. The french fries with it was perfect for me.. crunchy and had just the right amount of salt - exactly the way I prefer it! Many places fail to impress me on that!
Monica's Mud Pie was "wow so chocolatey"! It was soft and tasted good.
The price is a big let-down! Too expensive for a café that too only vegetarian!
Will surely come back to try out their Pasta, Monica's Lasagna and Joey's Pizza.

'How you doin?' the cafe tends to greet you like this. This is a place to be for all Friends's fan. And when it comes to food, I'm a joey follower. Even I don't share my food.But why only veg? I wish there were more varieties.
Location: walk straight from Priya cinema towards Desapriya park back gate, you'll spot it on the left.
However, the cafe is amazingly decorated. From the orange sofa, to the replica of the door, the dog, the photos on the wall and quirky quotes, the place looks amazing. It has another darker section where people go for hookah. I have visited twice already..
Moist maker sandwich: triple layered patty stuffed sandwich which is Ross's favourite.
Friends Delight: absolutely droolworthy. Strawberry syrup, raspberry cream at the end, creamy shake topped with crushed oreos. Amazing!
Pesto pizza: I personally didn't like it much as for the price.
Monica's mud pie: had this on my second visit, this was one delightful treat to the taste buds. Tasted very good. I'll always love to be back for just this one.
Also tried the basic cappuccino. What can be said about that, you get it almost everywhere.
I like everything about the place. Monica's mudpie in my bucket list everytime.
Prices: high, sadly.
But well, definitely recommended if you too don't share your food. 😁
we had a pesto pizza, lasagna from monica's kitchen and burnt garlic fried rice. the rice was very beautifully cooked, had nice burnt garlic flavour and the quantity was also good.the pizza was sufficiently large in size ,was very cheesy ,crust was thin and nicely cooked,but lacked toppings.. the lasagna was good too cheesy with vegetables and had herby flavour and it lacked the lasagna sauce.

I always had this place on my wishlist . Being a crazy F.R.I.E.N.D.S lover i was so eager to visit this cafe. Today finally i had the chance. Easy to locate. The patent friends poster on the wall outside was nice. As we entered we were greeted by the store boys wearing friends tees quoting "I'll be there for you" . We loved the decor. The pics and posters reminding us of the episodes we loved. Coming to the food... we ordered cheesecake , monica's mudpie and lasagna ... the typicals! Cheesecake was quite small and we were disappointed but it tasted yumm... monica's mudpie was the most heavenly thing i have ever tasted... lasagna was good too .. the baked cheese n pasta tasted perfect .. just the tinge of broccoli was something i didnt like that much.
The store owner was very friendly and he let us click pics ..he even took us to the inside hookah section just to have a look. The prices are a little high.. they charged tax on every individual item and then vat and service tax on the total too..which was something i didnt get...or else its perfect!

Any new cafe attracts my attention. This new cafe I have noticed, but every time I pass by, I see queue in front of it, so did not venture it. Day before yesterday, seeing there is no queue, I ventured in.
The ambience is great. Anything and everything related to Friends serial is there - written on the wall and typed on the menu card. While awaiting for food you can pass your time by reading the details on the wall and you will soon know everything about the Friends serial and its actors.
There is a separate hookah bar which I did not venture. There is a guitar asking us to enjoy our time there.
The food is vegetarian. Cuisine Continental and Oriental. I wanted to try papaya salad but the papaya was not available. So I chose laska - Malay noodles- and hot chocolate. I also chose stuffed mushroom for parcelling.
Laska I chose because I haven't tried before. I comprises of noodles of course, together with coconut, capsicum and spicy and sour sauce. The aroma of coconut is cool.
I also took stuffed mushroom with me, but by the time the parcel was opened they were cold and bitter to taste.
The hot chocolate was ordinary.
The price is on the steep side, and the problem we are facing at the moment, the change of currency notes etc., they could not help and we had to pay in card.
For a Friend's fanatic, this is a nice hangout place. One would really enjoy the ambience and would definitely want a revisit. We ordered shakes and a crispy baby corn. The shakes were a wonder to look at but were okay in taste. The baby corn was good but could have been better. The price was on the higher side and the taste wasn't upto the standard. Ambience wise a very good place but not so good when it comes to meals.
This place gives you a feel of the F.R.I.E.N.D.S tv show with good food and drinks on the menu ❤

Friend's Cafe serves only veg food.
It wasn't a planned visit for me, so I took the moment to go through the menu.
We ordered:
Lasagna: It wasn't actually a proper lasagna, too much of broccoli and carrot. Four of us didn't wanted to eat it, hence it was kept aside
Alfredo: The white sauce penne pasta was good, the balance was right. We enjoyed it, wouldn't recommend people who have a taste bud for spicy food.
Monica's mud pie: It was good dessert mud pie was a bit over cooked but otherwise it was fine. Addition of Oreo and chocolate chips played well.
Nutella crepe: By the look of it, it wasn't attractive but the taste was amazing, how it couldn't be, end of the day its nutella.
I wouldn't suggest people to order pizza because it wasn't that good and they had lack of variety.
The total amount was 1145 INR for four people.
Being a F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan I felt awesome when visited this place today for a friend's birthday party..
This is one of the nicest vegetarian Cafés you can find in Kolkata..

I am late in posting this review but I went there in their the first week they got inaugurated. I loved their decoration and ambience. Oh place is so hyped that we were asked to wait in a queue to enter.but then we agreed to sit in the hookah cabin which is a separate room and thus were allowed to enter quickly. The environment is lovely and a perfect leisure food joint where I saw view fellow guests were playing guitar and were having a perfect chill time
Regarding food,its not the tastiest place to have ur snacks but yes a good place to spend sometime with friends n siblings
This is the dream destination for every friends fan throughout the world...Totally dedicated to the tv show the place is super awesome to spend time with your friends.. They have all the stuff which reminds you the show..The cafe also serves hookah and has a separate section for that though the hookah was not that good and the food was okay(I don't know why it only serves veg,they should learn a few things from joey) though the ambience is superb...

Every nook and cranny of this cafe screams F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Their effort is really applaudable for coming up with a challenging theme and executing it with precision. As you have already read several reviews and seen numerous pictures I will abstain from giving unnecessary details of the interior and decoration.

On the weekends the place is mostly jammed with crowd and waiting is longer than usual. We visited on a Friday afternoon and got to occupy some comfy sofas in the hookah section. While waiting for our orders we explored the cafe a little more and took some snaps here and there.

The starting range of hookah is 499 which I thought is a bit more than others joints. The fruit combo flavour was nice but it gave us instant throat irritation and we burst out coughing. We asked them to fix it while we indulged into our ‘moist maker sandwich’. The diehard non-vegetarian in me absolutely fell in love with the veg food and how! The French fries was the best I had. And adding to my delight the ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S delight’ shake was thoroughly delightful.

For the foodies less aware of the sitcom the cafe might be quite average. Those who want to spend some quality time with friends give it a go.

The decor is almost similar to their central park cafe with the spotlight shining on the "yellow sofa". The walls are full with facts of our favorite characters and snapshots from the series.
Now coming to the food we tried lasagna and washed it down with friends delight as moktail of our choice. The lasagna was cheesy and yumm!! Friends delight is a must try as it was stuffed with brownies,oreo with layers of strawberry and chocolate milkshake...just felt like heaven. For dessert we tried monica's mudpie but was a bit disappointed.

Got to know about this cafe through zomato and like any other cafe in deshopriya park i reached here using the google direction. Door or entrance of this cafe is like you are entering in any house. Infact while searching for this place you might pass this place. Once you enter all over the walls sofa shelf everything reveals friends story in one or the other way. Ambiance way its a good place to visit atleast once. Moving to food I did not find much option so had one mocha frappe which was nothing special and service ,cost everything very decent nothing special to mention about.Only suggestion It would be if they add some more menu option that would be great.

Being in Kolkata, this the 1st place I wanted to visit and I did. As a huge fan of FRIENDS I was extremely excited to go, but the cafe was below my expectations. Ambiance is amazing I must say, that white dog, the purple door, the iconic couch etc. We ordered pizza and pesto pasta, it was my first experience with pesto so there there is nothing to compare it with, both the dishes were okay. Otherwise you should definitely give it a shot.

This themed restaurant gives you a different feel compared to others...the interiors , even the couch .The best part about this place is the FRIENDS Fries_an assortmemt of different types of 'Aloo bhaja' s.Although to me it seemed a little over priced nevertheless, it's a fun place to be.

Friends fanatics, do not miss visiting this place if you are in Kolkata. Not for the food, but the ambience!!!Even the smallest details of FRIENDS have been captured , like Joey's Pat the dog,Monica's apartment's door, Phoebe's guitar, Central Perk 's coffee neon sign, the coffee counter, Gunther :p and of course the iconic couch of Central Perk!! The only negative is that it's vegetarian :( However the food is quite good and includes some Friends themed items as well, like Ross's moist maker, Joey's fries with dip,etc.. For a huge Friends crazy fan like me, this restaurant was a wonderful experience :)
The theme of the cafe reminds us the series of F.R.I.E.N.D.S located in deshapriya park, an innovative concept really like the ambience of the cafe and the decor.. Food is good not every cafe can have a food and drinks so tasty and affordable too.. I went with my friends for the first time and i really like the place.. The staff was cooperative and was serving the food on time, dessert was too good.. A great thought and a great place to relax whenever you are bored as the series of FRIENDS will entertain you in the cafe.
I do not watch Friends, I am too far away from the entire fandom of Friends but my best friend loves the show and we barely spoke because she could not stop gushing about the show + interiors.
The food was really good (Potato Roastie, Nachos, Aglio Olio Garlic Bread and the Mushroom Pasta). The beverages (Berry Blast, Blueberry Cooler/Mojito) are extremely fine.
Had a great time. The staff is extremely well trained. Kudos to Mahima for the forward thinking + dash of brilliant hospitality at the cafe.
Recommend repeat visits. (Too much to try, to little time!)

Even though I'm a FRIENDS fan (read huge fan), I really cannot shell out more than what I have given. In terms of rating that is. This place is located just near Desapriya park. Take the lane that's between the park and Priya cinema hall and keep walking straight. It's hard to miss. The food here is average at most. Even that would be an overstatement I guess. I had ordered Ross' moist sandwich and even though the presentation impressed me at first, the actual taste of the sandwich was a let down. My friend had ordered Monica's lasagna, which too was mediocre at best. Both the dishes tasted bleak and couldn't quite leave an impression on us. Now coming to the décor - it was marvellous. The whole place is decorated with memorabilias from the show. They've got Joey and Chandler's dog, Phoebe's guitar, the iconic couch etc among other things. However, the best part of my experience was easily, the screening of episodes from the show all day long. I must say, the ambience really wins it for them, which is probably why I've given it a 3.5 . In short - the food was forgettable; the ambience charming.

Big big big FRIENDS fan.. probably thats the only reason im giving it a 4 on 5 rating.. ordered a host of dishes and drinks.. somehow something was missing from all of them.. moving aside from food, the ambiance is a 6/5...:P they have made sure to get everything right.. there is a Phoebe's guitar at the entrance, 6 famous lines of each of the stars on the top wall and even the friends sofa.. go there only for the ambiance..
Kolkata's very own Central Perk :D. I am big F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan. So definitely this cafe belongs to my regular list. Veg only, still very yummy food. there is a hookah bar lounge too, where you can enjoy the episodes. But you gotta wait outside for quite sometime to reserve a table, especially during the evening... !
The place is like just out of the show..
Anyone who's hooked onto the show wouldn't need a reason to love it..
But for the foodies..you may find it worth the money...
Food is good..wouldn't say great..although there's a plus that they have a lot of options..

Near Priya Cinema. I don't like veg, if they will have non-veg i would rate them 4.5 stars. Else, the maintainance plus seating arrangement and F.R.I.E.N.D'S series on TV, definitely a place for Fan.
A bit crowded, people are talking you could hear them all. I would recommend for hangouts and chilling with friends. But not a place for couple because you wont like to hear all those noises in the middle of your lovey dovey conversations.

I think it is a perfect place to hangout with your friends. The cafe can be easily spotted if one walks straight by the adjacent lane of Priya Cinema at Deshapriya Park. When I entered into the cafe I felt that I am visiting Monica's cosy appartment! The inner decor is superb. One will totally feel that he/she is in real sets of Friends TV show. The large famous orange sofa is there and there is a TV set where episodes of friends TV show is running incessantly. The walls flaunt some unknown facts regarding ths Friends TV show and its characters. The place is really cosy and hey don't you miss Pat,the dog. Now coming to the food; the food here is good and tasty but the service here is really slow. We ordered Ross's Moistmaker sandwiches and a dessert for a quick bite. The Moistmaker comes with a cute note as it has been portrayed in the famous TV show. Overall a cosy nice place with awesome food and great decor but I think the speed of service needs to be increased. Lastly I really liked the way they give the bill. The bill comes in a cute little bucket with a handfull of candyman toffees so that is really a sweet gesture! Well I would love to visit this place anytime with my friends and you people must try it out too!
This is a cafe... nd the main important attraction is the ambience... the food quality is also good... but those are quite costly... anyway overall it's one the best cafe in Kolkata...

This restaurant is awesome if you are a fan of the Friends series, the decor reminds you of the epic characters from the series and their funny dialogues. The food is delicious and mocktails are refreshing too. But the serving time takes too long, I had to wait for my dish and by the time it reached the table my friends had their food and I was the only one left.
The first restaurant I checkd out after returning to Kolkata after 10 long years was F.R.I.E.N.D.S cafe. True to its description the ambience totally lives upto the expectations of the show's fan.
Coming to food...the line up is Gud and most importantly vegetarian. We ordered friends fries, falafel with hummus, pasta with mushroom in bechemel sauce, kitkat shake, and choco brownie shake. The pasta was best white sauce pasta which I had eaten so far...creamy, cheesy n hands down yummy. Liked the shakes as well. Though the falafel was little dry and the dip they served with the falafel wasn't fresh.
All in all would like to go back to taste other dishes.
