Well it's a nice place to go out with friends nd family for a nice dinner or gathering , fish tikka kebab , fish finger and devils prawn are some good side dish's that one can have as starter , their chicken tikka butter masala and nan are best for dinner and all over the ambience is really nice. Started with Fresh Lime Soda gives you a kick start to continue your meals.....Then a plate of Pan Fried Chilli Fish, personally I would recommend all of you to have it earlier because it contains a crispyness.French fries are also nice, specifically you should have White Sauce(Mayonise) as dip with that 😊.Now my favourite dish of all times,Bhuna Mutton with Garlic Nun and Masala Kulcha which is the best of this restaurant 😊. Nice, quiet place for a drink. Food is surprisingly good. Highly recommend the Chicken Reshmi butter masala. Staff are extremely courteous. Place could do with a bit more ambience, given its prime location.
Was here for a drink. Drinks are quite cheap here. Had chicken fingers and chips. Food is quite good too. Not a bad crowd either. Service is good. In short good place to go to for a drink and it won't burn a hole in your pocket.
We went to silver sand at 3rd April.. Service was amazing by Somnath..he suggested us a very good dish.. It was yumm..we enjoyed our food with drinks and off course with great service.. Love this place..will like to visit again...

We have been here a couple of times and the north indian as well as chinese dishes are quite good and well prepared. The order time and serving time are not of much difference. This restaurant is recommended.

We prefer to seat on second floor. If you visit here with your family you should seat at second floor. The ambience is quite good. Cost of drinks and foods are reasonable. Service is good enough. this is a small and affordable bar cum family restaurant near the city centre vicinity....although the interior is basic but the stuffs are really very polite....one can spend as much time as he/she wants with a bottle of beer..... the food along with it's quality and quantity is really very nice.... so if are looking for a place where you can chat with your family and friends with a bottle of beer near city centre then you can surely hit this place.... the pocket pinch is really affordable !

On one of my visit to Kolkata, my friends took me to this place and I was really not sure about it. Though the place looks dimly lit the food was a shocker for me. We ordered some starters along with few drinks.
The Chinese chicken starter was amazing. So good that we asked them to get us two more plates of the same.

This is the place to hog on some great food and long conversations with beer! Opposite to city centre this place gives you pocket friendly booze and food. The menu consists of varied items from tandoor to chinese to grills to continental. The highlighting items would be Chicken Patiala, Pan fried fish and the Fish Fingers. The staff is courteous enough and great at suggesting items to try. The ambience is not like any other bar which are bustling and high on alcohol smell and chaos of chitter chatter, it is calm and quiet and the view from the seat is also a good way of sipping your whisky and going blank!

Silver Sand is one of oldest bar in this area, located just opposite to City Center Saltlake. It is not your regular pub experience, but it actually gives you that. No music, dimmly lit at daytime, a seperate smoking room - may make you tag it a bit shady.
However it does not pich your pockets heavily, and that's why people come here to enjoy drinks with friends peacefully. Yea that's right even if you're a lady you can visit here with your lady friends.
Coming to the foods, they are tasty and delivered quite fast! Another plus point. Stuffs are courteous too, and service is fast.

Chinese dishes are very delicious.. we tried crispy chilli baby corn,crispy chicken and dry chilli fish.. these were just superb..then ordered for chicken fried rice,chicken hakka noodles,fish manchurian, schezwan chicken, chicken biriyani and mutton kosha as main course.. fish manchurian was so tasty, the pieces of fishes were very soft and the chicken schezwan was also well cooked. But the biriyani and the mutton were not good. Their fish fingers and prawns were also mouth-watering those I have tried in another visit. Pocket friendly price.. quantity is also good and service is also satisfactory.. definitely a good restaurant for chinese lovers..

Employees are very cautious and helpful. The main thing I must add here it's their food. You will get fresh ingredients whenever u order for any dish. I specially like their Fish Fry which they serve with tarter sauce.....it's really wonderful.

Well, this has been our getaway for quite some time now. The ambience is not really great but okay if you just want get yourself a few drinks after a long day of work. The main attraction is the food, though they have raised their prices a bit in the recent days still it's one of the most affordable places for a drink and nice food in salt lake.
This is one of the popular bar cum restaurants in the vicinity. The liquor is easy on the pocket. The ambiance is not much to speak about but it is a good place for friends to meet over. Now the food is a mix of decent and great. The chicken in devil's sauce was not as expected and the garlic chicken again was disappointing. It seems they use too much ketchup in the chinese stuff. But when it comes to the kebabs, well, it rarely gets better than this. The reshmi kebab was outstanding, tender, flavoury, melts in your mouth type. All the kebabs are very good. This I think is one of the better places to hang around in the city

This is a bar cum restaurant located opposite to Bata,city center 1. This was a very frequent place for us during our college days.
Today I visited this place with my school friends after a long time and a lot has changed here.
The interior have changed drastically and they have also arranged for another floor for family people.
We ordered three beers and one plate of chicken fingers. Chicken fingers had 6 big pieces of chicken served with mayonese.
All of these cost us around 800 Rs which is quite cheap compared to other bar cum restaurants in and around city center.
Their service was very prompt and worth mentioning.

Went there solo to enjoy Chicken Drumsticks with Whiskey. Heard about this place from friends and colleagues. Food and liquor prices are pocket-friendly. Not suitable for very large groups. Have a separate smoking enclosure. For some reason, the staff assigned to me was visibly rude - but service was okay. Lighting could have been better- but it's more of a watering hole than a bar/cum restaurant. For people visiting solo, this is a great place as there are many corner seats available to enjoy your food and liquor in peace. Food quality was okay. They provided normal drinking water separately which was nice.
