Located at the backlane near CityCenter, Salt Lake. The outlet serves excellent snacks and sweets. They take special orders too. Hygiene & quality is excellent.
Suddenly i got a caving to it a ballusahi and rasogulla after watching a photo of one of these deserts. I open zamato app on my phone a search for ballusahi. I m expecting that there will be no resturant that provid me that item on zamato but there you got me and i order the same two itmes for me and for my two other friend. And it was a nice expirence but i just have a little complain that these items are a little bit expensive as compare to market and the extra rupees that i given to that does't improve any size or taste of the item so i am giving 4 out of 5 star a star less for the extra price.
It is a sweet shop cum snacks eatery. Located very close to CC1. Sweets were good and innovative in taste. They also have a phuchka counter outside. 3 variety of water (regular, orange, and mustard). Taste good.
Went there today. Its at a walking distance from cc1. Had kulcha mutter, papdi chaat and baked nolen gurer chumchum( in the photo). All were so delicious and fresh. The only negative being the unavailability of Chaai. Rest were top notch.
Namotsav stands for Snacks and Nibbles.Its a sweet shop cum snacks eatery.Vegetarians Delight.Located very close to CC1 I found the stuff tasty over here and easy on pocket as well.We took –
1) Mutter Kulcha – Kulcha with googny.Really liked the taste and spice of food.
2) Italian Pizza Papri Chaat – It was very very tasty and a must try.It is not served hot.
3) Chenna Payesh – Again a very good item.
All the above items are available after 3 pm.There is just outdoor seating for 6-8 perons.They don’t serve tea in evening which I want to suggest.Service is Fine.
Really great sweet shop with a vast diversified collection of savouries, snacks, street foods and sweets.
From breakfast to lunch to desert you get here all. My recommendation would definitely be their club kachauri and jalebi. For sweets try the sandesh with rose petal and kesar rasmalai. Am sure if you try once you will go again and again

I was surfing through Zomato and found this sweet outlet serving flavour Paninpuri.
The eagerness let me hit the shop.
But i was disappointed.
They are serving 6 flavours of Pani puri.U can get it in evening.
Their tastes are unique but not good.
But once i tried their Italian papdi chaat and paw bhaji the mood changed.
They are delicious.
Even their baked samosas are must try.
I had ordered gulab jamun, samosa and dilkusar. All food items were very tasty. What disappointed was that samosas were cold and no chutney was given.

A fine place for all the vegetarians out there and the ones who wanna try out some desserts as well as some variations in fuchka!
Stepped into this place and found out a lot of sweet dishes! Starting from sandesh and malaichops to pastries and mousse!!.. Well I tried out Mango, Butterscotch and Chocolate Delight. Rs 50 each. Bought a donut pizza worth Rs40. And tried their fuchka of 6pcs for 40 bucks. They have 6 different flavours right from Kachi Kairi, Chatpata Hing, Orange, Bubblegum, Regular and Garlic. One can taste all, but I would suggest to have Chatpata hing, orange and kachi kairi to be have.
The sweets were lip-smacking, best being the butterscotch one (really recommended).
Next we had the pao bhaji (Rs 80). It tastes good but the quantity and size of pao can be increased keeping in mind the economic point of view. I was not much impressed with the donut pizza, it was a regular one, the shape being the only attraction for me.

Theit laddu was good .....it's got nice concotation of ghee and fried boondi just melt in your mouth....
this is situated at CB block. a big sweet joint also having a lot varities of fuchka.we were kinda full.so we decided to go for chocolate chomchom.and it tasted heavenly.nothing can be better than this.although price is bit on higher side.one chomchom cost you 50 bucks.but that taste deserve anything.

So, Walked into this place cause am a die hard fan of sweets and desserts. The place is well decorated and looks like a hybrid of Royal sweets shop as well as a snacking restaurant. Staff were pretty courteous.
We tried a lot of desserts, sweets and snacks such as Mango cream chacham, Kesar pista delight, Cream chamcham, Strawberry dryfruit chamcham, Chocholate delight in sweets; Chocholate pestry, Pineapple pestry, Blueberry pestry, Mixfruit pestry, Excess chocholate pudding in pastries and puddings , Haridwari chat, Raj kachori Chat, Baked Coconut laddu and many more. Namotsav is a one stop shop for sweets and a lot of savoury items as well. Mishti, breads, chocolates, cookies, pastries, puffs, patties,chaat, Pani Puri - you will find everything here! The store is very spacious and the decor and placement of the food items are quite eye-catching. I tried the Chocolate and Cream Chamcham, Haridwari Chaat, Chocolate pastry, Tikia Chola Chaat, Samosa, Gratin Puff, Pasta bun. All of them were great in their own way!

Namotsav is a great find, and I'm happy to have come across this place. For a person with a sweet tooth, a snacks lover this place is a must. They have a wide variety of sweets to choose from - be it the good old gulab jamun or new innovative strawberry chamcham.
They have a bakery too. And the bakery is as good as any well-known brand in Kolkata. Their pineapple cake was amazing, soft, moist and with perfect frosting.
They also have chats, if you want a break from all the sweets. The chats are deliciously made and good servings ensure it fills you up too

Visited this place with my gang in the morning for breakfast.
I found this place a bit innovative. We ordered sweet, pastry and chat items.
In the sweet section we ordered Mango Cream Chamcham, Kesar Pista Delight, Chocolate Delight and Strawberry Dry Fruit Chamcham. They tasted really awesome. I loved the Mango Cream Chamcham most. The real mango flavour made me feel good.
In pastry section we ordered Chocolate pastry, Pinaple pastry and Blueberry pastry. I tried all of them. They were delicious and all of them are must try items.
In chat section we ordered Paw Bhaji, Tikia Chola, Laccha tikki and Haridwadi chat. Paw bhaji was awesome after that the haridwari chat also tasted brilliant. I also loved the way they served those items. All of them tasted great.
At last we ordered for Gulab Jamun, Motichur Laddu and Baked Coconut Laddu. They tasted superb. Especially the baked coconut laddu was more soft and was amazing to have.
We also ordered for singara, veg pattis, pasta bun and donut pizza. I was really happy with the quality of the food.
The ambiance was fair enough and the staffs were really decent. Overall it was an amazing experience.

Well I was invited by FoodZpah for a tasting session of some of their delicacies. Ambience absolutely spot on. Being a dessert-lover, i loved their bakery and mithai section. I loved the Mango Cream Chamcham, Chocolate Delight, Motichoor Ladoo and Baked Coconut Ladoo. Among the savoury portion, my favourite was the Paw Bhaji,Donut Pizza,Singara,Onion Kachori and Pasta Bun. Apart from that, i also tried phuchkas which were totally worth trying.
They also have a huge collection of juices, dry fruits and branded chocolates.
I definately loved it and i will visit this place again to purchase some dry fruits and chocolates and also to have food items as well.

I have sweet tooth so I visited this place to try some sweets, I will recommend this place as their sweets are wonderful and fresh. I also tried some savory items like club kachauri, samosas, chaat, dahi vada but didn't find it too tasty to recommend this but sweets are much better then savory items. Over all a mixed experience. Spacious enough to fit a lot of people. Staffs need a little grooming about how to deal during rush hour. They also have a little counter for take home. This place also serves cakes and sizzlers.

Had breakfast at namotsav with whole family one fine sunday morning. We had ordered club kachori- sabzi and jalebi. Both were served hot n tasted delicious. Plain dosa was crispy with tasty chutney sambhar. Malai toast was good too.
On previous occasions, we had eaten plenty of namkeen stuff from here like matar kachori, patties n i found all of them up to the mark. The sweets are delicious too.

Surprisingly decent place for dosa, vada, et al. The rava dosa was quite satisfying and so were most other dishes (we sticked to the likes of crispy baby corn, chilly honey potato, etc.) Only one of the dishes (was it cheesy onion balls?) missed the mark. Small blip, otherwise yummy for the tummy.

Salt Lake gets it's own sweet shop that sits as a tough competition to the likes of our Haldirams and Bhikharam! The sweets are on display are excellent! Enough people to attend the customers. They have a mini take away counter with four items. They have their own breads. They have their gift items and packaging items. They even offer pastries and mousse. The prices are good. Recommended.
Its a nice place for dinner. The portion size is good and quality is nice. We often call for dinner from namotsav.
For breakfast they can include much more variety. Overall nice!
Enjoyed Diwali sweets from this place. The packing was really impressive and eye catching. The chocolate items were new and very tasty. Overall a memorable experience.

Went for breakfast. Very limited menu. Sabzi kachori was decent. The jalebi was crispy and A class. The idly too was good and i can say the same for upma which is generally pathetic at restaurants. Only grouse was the limited menu. Should visit once and I shall visit again.

In chat section we ordered Paw Bhaji, Tikia Chola, Laccha tikki and Haridwadi chat. Paw bhaji was awesome after that the haridwari chat also tasted brilliant. I also loved the way they served those items. All of them tasted great.
At last we ordered for Gulab Jamun, Motichur Laddu and Baked Coconut Laddu. They tasted superb. Especially the baked coconut laddu was more soft and was amazing to have.
We also ordered for singara, veg pattis, pasta bun and donut pizza. I was really happy with the quality of the food.
The ambiance was fair enough and the staffs were really decent. Overall it was an amazing experience.

VERY NICE PLACE FOR ALL YOUR FESTIVAL GIFTING PURPOSE AND ALSO FOR YOUR SWEETS PURPOSE. The milk loaf & the garlic loaf are the best of the lots . They are made by an in-house chef . Very soft and tasty. They have a wide range of outside fruits , drinks , some snacks .
I have ordered 45 packets of snacks for an occasion..Believe me they have done tremendous arrangements and delivered it on time. Hats off to food quality and hospitality....

P.S Giani ice-cream is right outside which is a fantastic place for ice creams. Personal favorite is hot chocolate fudge there.
This shop sells only vegetarian products. You would get eggless pastries, different kinds of breads, fruits, dry fruits, sweetmeats, snacks (like kochuri, samosa, etc), bottled juices. All the foods are fresh and reasonably priced. The shop is spacious though there is no seating arrangement. Besides cash payment can be made through credit cards and Paytm.
