one of the most delicious and finger licking shawarma's to have in Kolkata. no compromise on the chicken quality and quantity. the red sauce just adds a perfect flavour to the dish. the portion is also perfectly sized to fill your stomach right. there is no other place in comparison to EAT -A - PITA for sure.

A hidden gem. Serving one of the best chicken shawarma I've eaten in Cal, this place is a must try. Also the red pepper sauce is to die for! Absolute love.
The crust of chicken shawarma wrap was crisp, flavorful, and chewy. The filing worked together beautifully. The chicken and white sauce were packed with flavor, and the red chilli sauce had a great consistency and very little oil. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit..

Got some items delivered from this restaurant. Chicken shawarma salad and chicken sandwich, along with Hummus. The sandwich was fantastic while the salad and hummus was good but not great. The salad was a bit soggy, lacked the crunch. Hummus simply I have tasted better.
Conclusion, good restaurant but not that great. But will definitely give some more tries.

Dropped at this place to try out their stuffed chicken wrapped in pita bread - satisfied with the chicken portion used as filling. The bread quality was good. I would also recommend to try out their biriyani which is healthy - with less oil, but tasty. Service is bit slow.
I am pleased with this small little place located in New Alipore, between Taratala and Triangular Park, just opposite Corporation Bank. Decent food. I liked the stuffing inside the Chicken Shawarma Wrap. The mayonnaise used was awesome. The shawarma comes with an option of 3 sauces, white, red and green. Chicken Grilled Sandwich was good too. Just I felt it could have been better without the use of cucumber. The lady managing this place is so nice and polite. Prices are reasonable. Overall, good experience.
I saw this tiny outlet while I was driving .. So I just popped it and ordered a chicken shawarma wrap with white sauce and got it parcelled .. For 90 INR I thought it was decent .. Generous quantity of chicken which I loved and their white sauce was good .. . This place is good for home deliveries as it does not provide seating. It doesn't stand out at all so you might just miss it ..

Though hesitant at first, thanks to swiggy I finally made up my mind to try this small eatery located in new alipore. I had a falafel wrap,and after the first bite I had a big regret about not ordering more. Having sampled quiet a few place serving Lebanese food, I can whole heartedly recommend this place to everyone. The quality of the food along with the condiments It was delivered with. Excellent price point. I hope this restaurant grows with time .Bon appétit.
I had been eyeing a chance to try this small Lebanese joint for long since I frequently have to pass through New Alipore for some reason or the other. En route to home earlier this evening, I made a pit stop and decided to eat a shawarma. Owing to the tiny amount of space this place occupies, the seating arrangement is made right outside with four chairs. The set up invites a bit of curiosity to the customer about the elements used for the preparation.
The shawarma was really good and reasonably priced. Due to the unavailability of shakes, I concluded the solitary visit with a lemonade and left with a smile. I'm keen on trying all of their offerings.

Pretty good. Only the seating arrangement is not adequate at all. A kitty called Minnie disturbs you once in a while for food though she is looking only for the chicken and not the pitta! We had the chicken shawarma sales and it was delicious! Going back soon!
this place recently caught my eyes. I have been a Lebanese lover since 2008. I'm done and dusted with the deteriorating food quality and unnecessary price hike in Go Lebanese and Royal Lebanese. but this restaurant gives the very old dish a refreshing touch. i simply love their swarma salad and awesome low spicy biriyani, half plate for just 55! even a cappuccino costs more! i love the different taste it offers and the quantity. . however my only complain is that it takes ages for the food to be delivered. however, the labour equals the sum. their irani kebab is a must try. the grren chutney needs lot of improvement. the pita is not always soft. hope for better food in future.

I love their roast chicken that they serve with pita bread and Mayo. Its yummmm... :) I lobe their food. Its tasty and healthy too! I order their food at least once in 10 days.

This is my first time to try Lebanese so I cant compare, but one thing for sure I can tell that the place is hygienic and the food is very tasty. shawarma wrap is delicious and fresh although the spit was empty.I read about their special banana shake which was out of supply. Overall my impression is good.
A proper shop which serves authentic gourmet homemade shawarma. This place was suggested by my friend who lives in the locality and it did not disappoint. They do not have a restaurant per se. Its just a takeaway or they have stools outside so you can sit and have your food. The shawarma roll and the shawarma salad are the pop picks here as they have the perfect blend of spices, chicken and mayo. The biriyani is also tasty and light on the stomach. I have heard rave reviews of their smoothies and lemonade but have not yet got around to having them. All in all a satisfying experience.
Awesome awesome food. I really enjoyed the shwarma and irani chicken kebabs. I was heart broken last week when I drove down to eat some lovely food but they were closed. Later came to know that they were out for a marriage catering. Im addicted to your food. Keep it up . Its value for money.

A nice place, preferably a takeaway counter! Had chicken shawarma salad, and it was quite good. And they also make a decent chicken biriyani too, in order to increase the interest of their customers. And all this at a reasonable price!
They make the awesomest Lebanese biryani and its very very lite on the stomach. Pretty different from the Arsalans of the world! Half a plate is more than enough to fill you up!! As a takeaway I'd rate it 4.5 and as a sit down eatery 3!! Looking forward to taste the wraps though!

The first half of the roll offers you a really juicy feeling that will make you think about Eat-A-Pitta once again. The second half becomes less juicier but offers full of nice smoothy grilled chicken that will make you think about the price of the roll. Unlike other Lebanese point the Shawarma roll of this place offers you 2 different taste with the half & other half. Basically this becomes a pocket friendly place for foodies that offers such a brilliant food makes you visit the place whenever you are nearby of Eat-A-Pitta. Must visit for the people who love to taste Lebanese.

Location: A couple of minutes away from Gupta Brothers, New Alipore.
Happened to come across this place while on my evening rounds along with an old friend and the first reaction I had was,"Yeh ek bachaa tha bas". Lebanese, a cuisine which this area missed on, had been introduced here a few months back. I immediately decided to give it a try and thus, dropped in.
It is a small well-equipped joint with a green-white interior, a few chairs on the sidewalk and a welcoming owner at the counter.
Ordered a Paneer Shawarma and a Falafel Wrap for me and my friend.
- About the Paneer Shawarma, the pita was soft (rather was a thick flatbread) with a generous filling of taratouse sauce, a slight brush of tahini sauce, a few cubes of paneer, lettuce and thinly sliced tomatoes. Served along with sliced onions and ground green chillies. The shawarma tasted decent but, the amount of paneer was found to be too low.
- About the Falafel Wrap, the pita (more like a thick flatbread) was soft and thinner than the one in the shawarma; with a filling of mayo, taratouse sauce, falafel (was crisp and tasty), thinly sliced tomatoes, chopped capsicum and peas (God knows why). Served along with onion juliennes and green chillies.
•Both the orders felt to be inclined towards an indianized form as it consisted of ingredients which are absent in the authentic ones.
The service was prompt but, prices might feel a pinch with respect to the quantity of filling.
Overall an above average experience.

I stumbled onto this place while looking for a place to get take from. It is reasonable. The swarma is great. A perfect pre-dinner snack. I took home two biriyanis. The place is clean and has the modern amenities required to run this kitchen. The host is warm and service is at par. The only Lebanese joint in New Alipore and it is good. A must try if you are looking for some thing new on a reasonable budget.
We stumbled upon the place last week and had a great meal.....impressed we ordered a home delivery, however the ordered falafels were cold and chewy and also they charged extra for delivery even though they advertise it to be free.
A wonderful place to have food. The added bonus is the warmth of the owner. Food is very good and you can wash it down with a refreshing glass of lemonade. Strongly recommend to try out this place

The only cuisine new alipore required was Lebanese. Eat a pitta came to the rescue. Amazing food. My personal favourites are falafel and chicken shawarma. Both are to die for. The Green board is really catchy. The owners are really hospitable. I love the fact that they're diversifying slowly and gradually. Lemonade at 10 bucks to beat the heat. All you want with your favourite shawarma is a glass of chilled lemonade / coke. I'll surely recommend this place for a break from the mainstream food Indian and Chinese.

Chicken Shawarma is to die for!
I was really glad when I heard a new Lebanese place had opened up in new alipore as the location is very convenient. The green eye-catching board makes it easier to spot the place . The menu is the classic Lebanese menu and the food too is really nice . My personal favorites are the shawarma salad and the fish kebabs . Another really nice thing they do is offer lemonade for merely 10 inr as is not only solves the issue if unavailable change but also is quite refreshing in this summer heat . The owners are really nice and welcoming and always chat with me hospitably every time I go there . I would definitely recommend the place to all foodies .
I absolutely love their food, people who serve are friendly too. I think I really like the green color of the walls, makes me think that some people have actually started thinking green.

I think i was their "First" customer when they had opened in my area. The owner's are punjabi and i met "Shiv" who was in charge of this place at that particular time. Well, i was quite sweet of them to provide me a complimentary pepsi on their first day. They had the same kind of Lebanese menu as most of the lebanese joints in Kolkata have. Nothing extraordinary though. However, on my notice, i told them that they had messed up the spelling of "Chicken" to "Checken". They immediately took notice of it but however, did NOTHING to fix it. Nevertheless, first impression is the last impression. I had been to this place three times. First time, i went alone, den with my friend and den cousins. My experience wasn't extraordinary all the time. However, the name of this place also had not attracted me much. It is located in the main road when you head towards Taratala from New Alipore. In the line of restaurants like Bhatti and Steak factory...They did not have any parking space facility available which indeed is a big "TURN OFF" at this place. Not just that, i really did not like how they had painted the place with green colour. Well, personal choices and preferences but however, it did not appeal me much.

Well on all my visits, i had ordered:-
Chicken Shawarma Roll - The roll had a total Indian touch to it. They did not serve pita but Thin Maida Roti's which i loved as it was very thin. The chicken pieces have been served with little sauce on them. The pieces tasted quite different and were succulent. However, at many lebanese joints, i found that they add on the sauce so much that the chicken's taste gets vanished. However, it was not the case here. Well, However, with respect to the quantity, they provide quite less. Maybe that's their USP. However, taste wise, I loved it. :)
However, most of the items they had printed were unavailable at that time which was another turn off for me. When i asked them, they said the machine has gone down.

3) Taste was quite different and i Loved it.
4) As they were not able to sell much, they reduced the quantity of chicken being marinated and placed in the lebanese machine. I felt it as a good choice to avoid wastage. Hence, it comes as a Good point to me.
Cons:-
1) Bad quantity. Must increase a little more.
2) The spelling of the chicken on the new printed menu and the large poster sticked inside the kiosk is wrong. It creates a bad impression.
3) No parking space.
4) Takes little longer time to serve.
5) Get up of the place is bad.
6) Same menu as other lebanese branches. Please be innovative guys.
7) Pocket pinching with respect to the quantity.

Nevertheless, good initiative to open in New Alipore as there was no other lebanese branch out here.
