I have tried delhi aloo tikki chaat and raj kachori here.
It was fine.
Try once if you haven't tried it at all.
It's inside south city mall.
Every mall food court has at least one kiosk that serve some kind of street food like chaat. For South City, its the Chaat Bazaar. Food menu is descent, not too many options to choose from. Aloo Tikki Chaat is nice and quantitative. It's one big tikki served with a mixture of chutney and dahi.
Pricing ranges from ₹70-130 for different varieties of chaat which seems a bit on the higher side. I would pay not more than ₹70 for something as basic as Aloo Tikki Chaat. Quantity is good, one plate is usually sufficing for a person. Hygiene wise there is no complains, they use gloves and hair caps while working.
Overall good for a quick bite if you are really craving for chaats on a hot summer day.
If you are in a mood for something light, then Chaat Bazaar is the place to look out for in the food court of South City Mall. I have tried out the dahi bhallas, the rajkachori and the sev dahi batata chaat. The dahi bhallas are soft and well garnished with dahi and chutney. The rajkachoris are good too . I recently tried out the sev dahi batata chaat and they turned up great too. They are quick in their service and don't cost much . I visit this place often .

The Chat Bazaar is nestled amongst the many counters lining the food court at south city mall. The place caters 100% veg food, with no use of onions or garlic either, making it the perfect hog spot for the tuesday & thurday vrath scenes.
The aloo tikki is really nice and i love it with an extra drizzle of the meethi chatni and the cool and fresh whipped yogurt.
The kachori chaat, papri chaat and the mixed chat are massive crowd pleasers as well.

The Aloo Tikki Chat is so good over here. It's my favourite among all of the chaats. Love this place. You can even customize the chaat you want while they prepare it in front of you. Nice counter at the food court to tantalize your chatpata tastebuds. Happy Dining! :)

My mom's favourite. That about settles the matter right there. Have tried their papri chaat, puchka, and dahi puchka. Papris and puchkas are always fresh and crisp. Their chutneys are outstanding. Value for money.
One of the great counter at South City Food Court. Have many varieties and though I have not taste each of them but the ones I had were great. Cheap and Awesome in short. A must try.

VISIT
I visited this outlet on 26/05/2015 along with my family after having watched PIKU at INOX.
AMBIENCE
The outlet doesn't have any good ambience of its own apart from the fact that the mall and its food court adds to its beauty.
FOOD
Although i had ordered for only mix chat but still i found it to be apt in every way.The combination of various chutneys like imli and green chutney were in right proportion. Then the masalas too were in right quantity. The addition of crushed dhoklas and the vadas of dahi vada added to the the tasty dish.I don't think they could have added anything extra to make it better.Further the presentation was also felicitous. It was served in a glassware and they were quite helpful in giving us an extra one on our request.
SERVICE
The service is quite fast. The chef is quite friendly.I had asked him to make it very delicious as i was ordering a chat from there for the first time and he did justice to it.He was quite alert in answering to my questions about the various chats listed in the menu.

Raj kachouri....paapri chaat.....alu chaat are my favourites. I go on eating one item after another item here as I become guilt free as these foods are prepared in a very hygienic conditions. I don't mind paying more price for these roadaide foods as falling sick and paying for the medicines is better to pay here.
The chaats are very delicious and served in ample amount.

Wanna add some fuel to the fire of your snacy sort of mood? Go grab some aloo chat/mixed chat or raj kachouri chat from chat bazaar south city, food court.Conveniently located easy to spot even that veggie lover friend of yours is now not gonna be bored when you guys are busy with chicken from KFC and dip yourself in the cheesy fantasy of pizza ... Sweet sour salty crispy finger licking chat is now there to compensate the lovers
Chaat Bazaar located in the Food Court of South City Mall is a good option if your in a snacky sort of mood and want to eat Chaats made in hygienic and clean conditions. Naturally prices are higher than the fare available street side but the taste is quite nice and portion sizes decent. My personal picks Bombay Bhel Puri , Sev Puri and Raj Kachori.
I recently had "Delhi Papri Chat" from Chat Bazaar and it was lovely!
It had just the right amount of dahi, mithi chatni and hari chatni.
The "Delhi Papri Chat" was alike the ones you get in Delhi.
The service was quick too !

I don't know why but I could never convince myself to have chaats, puchkas and bhelpuris at the roadside stalls. Hundreds of people throng there to enjoy gupshups over spicy puchkas or tangy chaats. Nobody bothers about the dirt, filth or the unclean way in which the chaats are prepared. Ingredients are left uncovered for flies to have a grand feast. Clouds of dust, raised by the passing vehicles, settle on these ingredients, making them unfit for human consumption. Yet, oblivious to all these dangers, people enjoy gorging spicy-tangy chaats and puris. A few careful types would pay extra attention to hygiene and cleanliness factors. Well, I am one of those careful types. Cleanliness is more important for me than anything else. That's why, whenever I feel an intense urge of having spicy chaats, I head straight to Chaat Bazaar.
Situated on the 3rd floor South City Mall, Kolkata, Chaat Bazaar is a one of those many food joints where foodies throng to dig in some street food- spicy chaats, puris, tangy golgappas and many more. Whether it's dhokla, dahi batata puri or pani puri- each item tastes awesome! Everytime I'm here I go for some lip-smacking pani puris, served with tangy pudina chutney and tamarind chutney. I also love Raj Kachori, offered with generous amount of stuffing, dahi and chutneys. Apart from these delicacies, dahi bhalla, Delhi papdi chaat, garam tawa aloo chaat, mixed chaat, corn chaat and masala peanut chaat are also amazingly tasty. Ingredients used for preparing each of the above items are fresh, and the place being air-conditioned, no flies hover around. The man, responsible for preparing and serving the chaats, makes sure to wear his cap and gloves all the time. So, you don't feel queasy when you find him mashing potatoes or slicing onions. After all, he wears his clean gloves always.
Eating here won't be a pocket pinch for you. Two people can enjoy spicy-tangy chaats by spending a paltry sum of Rs. 150 only (tax extra). It's true you can have these spicy delicacies at some roadside chaat stall. It will hardly cost you a few bucks. But, the roadside chaat seller hardly cares to wash his hands or keep his chaat ingredients covered to prevent contamination.
So, head to Chaat Bazaar when your heart craves for chaats.

The Bombay Bhelpuri is wow too.
The Raj kachori is very filling.
The Mixed Chaat is good too.

Chaat Bazaar
At any hour of the day you'll always find me ready for chatpata chaats! And this is the sole reason why I always throng at the Chaat Bazaar, a food joint on the 3rd floor of South City Mall. I go there for some yummy pani puri, Bombay bhel puri, masala peanut chaat, dahi batata puri, sev puri, dahi bhalla or some garam tawa aloo chaat. In addition, you can also get your favourite cold drinks such as Pepsi, 7up, Mirinda and Mountain Dew. Some cynics might say that the above chaat preparations are available at any roadside chaat stall for 10 - 15 bucks. But they overlook certain factors, which are really important when you are gorging chaat from some roadside chaat food joint.
The man who sells chaat in a roadside chaat stall hardly cares for your health. Personal hygiene and cleanliness are two things that lack in any roadside chaat stall. The chaat seller never washes his hands before mashing or peeling potatoes or slicing cucumber or tomatoes. Most often he uses his hands for adding all the ingredients in the chaat and that I find very unhygienic. Whether it is in aloo chaat, pani -puri or bhel puri, Imli ki Chutni is a must-use ingredient in all. Maximum water borne diseases are caused because roadside chaat sellers hardly care to use filtered water while preparing pani puri or bhel puri.
However, you'll see a completely different picture at the Chaat Bazaar in South City Mall. The men who man the stall wear gloves and plastic caps to avoid any kind of contamination. They particularly make sure they use filtered water for preparing Imli ki Chutni, pudine ki Chutni or other spicy sauces. Each preparation tastes awesome and the best thing is you'll never fall ill because they make sure to use fresh ingredients and prepare everything hygienically. Yes the prices are a bit higher than any roadside stall but then, it is also essential to eat healthy to remain fit.
Good place to have Indian street food , chaats , service is good , price is reasonable .....!!!!
Different mouthwatering dilkhush chaat.
