Just love there fish fry and Chinese almost every week once a week this outlet is fixed in our dinner menu sitting place is not available for dine etc so it's more lik a takeaway or u can enjoy ur rolls or small bites outside
Food is too good. Mouthwatering and I feel hungry whenever I pass by this restaurant as its located within 1km of my house. Tried their kebabs, Mughlai and Chinese. Keep it up KG.
Tried egg roll here. Pretty good. Deep fried egg roll served with onions and veggies. Very decent to heal sudden appetites.
A small eatery in laketow just opposite to jaya conema conplex in laketown.. kings grill is fanous for the rolls as well as there chinese dishes.. pocket pinch is very much affordable. i recommend to visit the place
The place offers wholesome food at pocket friendly rates. I have been talk away food from this place for over a decade. Only at times has the quality faltered. The rolls and momos served here are among the best I have ever tasted. The chicken fried rice tastes great. The shreded chicken and pepper creates this magic. All in all, if you have been to lake town and not had food here, you've missed out.

Fish Fry was developed during the British rule in India when Kolkata was the capital of the country. Today we found a hidden gem in Lake town, Kolkata.Its Kings grill. They serve pure bhetki fillet.The fry was amazing. Outside layer was very crunchy at the same time the inside was soft and juicy.Highly recommended.
A small eatery located very near to Jaya cinema hall. Tried their famous egg chicken roll some days ago and to be honest loved it. Kings grill is definitely one of the best roll joints in the Lake town area. They also serve some mouthwatering chinese dishes too.
If you are near Lake town area I would definitely recommend you to try their rolls, especially the egg chicken roll. Pocket pinch is very much affordable, 55 Rs for a well sized egg chicken roll which is absolutely cheap comparing to the other famous roll joints in kolkata. Recommended.
It's my go-to place whenever we're too lazy to make dinner. The place is very cheap and the food is great. Starting from the famous egg-chicken rolls to mutton rolls to chicken momos and chowmeins, I love everything they make. It's a great place which doesn't punch a hole in your pocket but leaves your tummy satisfied.
Very Tasty and cheap food, almost all types of Chinese food are available, must try. Location wise is also good. Little sitting arrangements are there.

Strongly recommend for all u food lovers out there. Must must and must visit . The Mix Noodles/ Rice is the best. The quantity they provide is sufficient for two people. The Rolls. Chicken Mughlai . Fish Finger are lip smacking. The Pan Fried Momo is better than any other renowned momo shops. So whenever I plan to eat out I prefer this place. It's cheap and tasty

Located just at the hot centre in Laketown opposite to Jaya Movie hall. They mainly focuses on Rolls as it is their speciality and USP and they are famous for it in Laketown. They have many other options in their menu but my rating of 4 is only for rolls.
Best food joint opposite Jaya Cinema laketown. Whenever I go for a movie in Jaya always my 1st food preference is kings grill only. Request everybody when you visit jaya cinema for movies try this place.

Best snacks corner of Lake Town !!!....Restaurant is actually for parcels but if you want to enjoy a snack , they have benches and few set of chairs. Absolutely pocket friendly and deserves great points.....just looooved it!!!!

Superb,I like the food and quite regulars in taking home delivery.Fried Rice,Chicken Masala,Chicken Momo,Chilli Chicken and rolls are among the favourites.
Kings Grill is simply the best. Located at a very convenient area, they offer the best of Chinese delicacies at the best price possible. Totally awesome!
This is a great place for a small snack before going in for a movie at the adjoining Jaya cinema hall. However, when I visited last, we decided to ditch the usual rolls for two plates of noddles and some sweet and sour fish. The quantities were appropriate, but the fish was a bit stale for my liking, and the seating could've been better.
Good place for rolls, momos, pakora, fish fry and any kind of fast food with a reasonable price and good quality. Only thing is it's always crowded and takes time to serve the orders. Located just opposite to Jaya Cinema Hall, this place is a hot favorite of many localites.
This corner street food joint located just opposite jaya multiplex cinema hall is my favorite place to visit to get some great snacks at reasonable price. Nothing special about this place...just enjoy what they serve!

What to say about King's Grill. I have seen this restaurant being started before me. It used to be a small Roll center, run by a group of friends. Over the years, this place have proved its worth to be called as one of the finest take-away center in the city. If you are planning to watch a movie at Jaya Cinema, then please make some time to visit this place. Though the price is little bit on the higher side, you will never regret the experience.
One of the earliest Street food corner located just opposite jaya cinema in lake town. The sitting arrangement consists of benches placed outside the shop. They serve good rolls and momos. One might also try the noodles. The service though is a bit slow as it is always packed up. The price is pocket friendly. Its better for takeaway
This restaurant is near to my place. I am a regular here. I luv there egg and chicken rolls. They prepare good momos and noodles as well. They don't hv proper sitting arrangement so either some quick bites or takeway is good.

Located at the heart of Lake Town, right across the street from Jaya Cinema Hall, King's Grill offers good food at a very reasonable price. The main features from the menu are - Mixed Chowmein, Fish Finger and Garlic Fish. But the most famous one is the Chicken Roll, the spiced pieces of chicken wrapped in paratha are a wholesome treat for the tastebuds.
A word of caution though, King's Grill is just your average round the corner eatery, there is only a single bench to sit by the walkway. So it is advisable to opt for take-away. Overall, if you are in Lake Town and feeling particularly hungry, King's Grill must be on your watchlist.
I have tried so many different rolls from this place.. Its flavourful n yum.. Only con is the waiting time as this place is crowded all the time..
This rating is not based on the ambiance. I can just ignore the sound of buzzing horns with one bite of chicken roll from king's grill. In all these years the rolls from this place is still my favourite. The rates are very nominal. Located opposite to Jaya Cinema in lake Town it is almost always crowded. Value for your money.
If I am asked to describe this place in one word, I would simply say "Mind blowing". I have come across this place several times during my regular commute and finally today I dropped in here. The place is very small with no seating arrangement. They serve both north indian as well as chinese preparations. I took one egg chicken roll which cost only 48 rupees. The first bite brought an excellent feel of royal mughlai flavour. The reason being they don't use normal fried chicken pieces instead they use proper marinated kebabs as the fillers of the roll.

'Bepok' is the word I will use to describe the egg roll I tasted at this outlet last evening. I was hungry and was craving for some Street food when a friend suggested this place. Located opposite to Jaya cinema this food joint is busy serving the customers throughout the day. The menu hung outside has a lot of options starting from rolls, soups, starters to noodles and rice items as well. It's a decent and clean outlet with a lot of hustle bustle and good food. We ordered for 2 egg rolls and a plate of fish fingers. The roll was outstanding in taste and the crispness of the paratha is something that I missed a lot. Perfectly made egg roll with a lot of great chillies and minimal sauce made the item excellent. The fish fingers were equally good. Total of 6 pieces served with cucumber and onion and potato wedges makes this item commendable. The kasundi or mustard sauce enhances the taste of the fish fingers even more. It's a street side outlet with zero ambiance. The wooden benches provided on the Footpath are the only luxury items to sit and chat while savouring the delicious dishes prepared. A pocket friendly food joint with an excellent service and quality of food.

Famous for its Kathi rolls and chinese food. Located at a very prominent area near jaya cinema in laketown. Only thing that i hate about kings grill is the long que one have to stand in before getting the ordered items. Chilli chkn and Mixed Fried Rice is a must try.

This place is located right opposite Jaya Cinema Hall in Lake Town. It's always crowded after 5 in the evening. So, it's not at all hard to locate.
Well, I just have this much to say. That, they make one of the best rolls in Kolkata and I have Rolls at many good places. So, yeah.
Also try their momo. The only thing that stops me from giving a 4 is that they lack a dining place. So just go, order and takeaway.

This old stand has been there for a decade now.had been having their food from childhood.whenever we went to Jaya for some new movie we would have their fish Fry,rolls & many other staffs.so a nice joint to have some snacks on the go.
Just opposite jaya cinema this small joint is a pleasant surprise with its rolls. The chicken roll is a wow. Not oily....tasty....soft n tender chicken and quality is always good. However the mutton roll is not that good to taste. If one wants a good roll in this side of the city. It has to b kings grill

Well..this tiny outlet at lake town did surprise me with their flavours...the chicken roll was way beyond my expectations.. the juicy pieces of chicken and simple spices tasted heavenly...they r good with their chilli chicken and chowmein as well..looking forward to a revisit
Although the quality of rolls have gone down over the years, its difficult to find an alternative to this roll joint in this area. Do try the double egg double chicken roll. It also serves chinese takeaway dishes. We tried chicken chilly, prawn manchurian, mushroom chilly with fried rice. The quantity is good enough and the quality is standard. Since so seating is available,often you need to wait especially in peak hours of the evening. Overall, 3.5/5.
The fish fry is famous here...the momos too are tasty...street food lovers will find the place affordable and quality of the items good...you have the option of waiting in a queue or sitting on the benches spread in front of the shop.

This place is outstanding. From outside, it doesn't look like much, but the food is lip smacking. It is majorly a take away counter. The Chicken Butter Masala is outstanding. I stay in Lake Town. A small shack that is absolutely hygienic and clean. It is probably the most popular roll spot of the area. The menu offers a variety of food items ranging from pakoras to parathas and fish fries and to fried rice.
Me ad my mother visit it quite a number of time. We mostly order for rolls, which are tasty though can be a bit more filling (I mean the roll are really spindly). The different variety of chowmeins are as well tasty.

The price is reasonable and the quantity the provide is quite excessive...the only con's of this shop might be its service as the stuff are very few you might have to wait for a long time to get your order

long waiting queues notwithstanding I am a regular here partially because I live 5 mins from this place! In the hundreds of times I have gone here I have never been disappointed with their food.....its nothing fancy....but I really do feel that their rolls are up there with the best!!! top notch!!! the other items like chilly chicken and other rices are good too with more than adequate quantity! the no seating is kind of a bummer but its street food and parcel takeouts and they are pretty damn good at that! if you want an inexpensive meal to take to your home or if you wanna enjoy some of the best rolls in the city (except for the fancy jabbr afghanis and gr8 rolls) close your eyes and place your orders without a second thought. its one of the safest options out there!

King's Grill is my second most favourite place for a double egg chicken roll and chili chicken dry. It is mouth watering good. Even the chicken noodle and the fish fry is really good here.
The rolls. I love it how they half-fry the onions before spreading. I eat from Kings Grill and Mahalaya at least twice a week, as do many other people living in Lake Town.
I wen t for an outing in a weekend evening. I was there in laketown searching for some street food. Suddenly I stopped in front of king's grill which is located in lake town just opposite to popular jaya cinema. I heard about their rolls but on that day I prefer fish fry. It took 10 mins to come to me and when I had my first bite a sound comes like ummmm...it was too crispy. I asked them for some chilli sauce to taste it more. And I paid just rupees 40 for that. Great!!! Will visit again.
The only way you can judge a roll shop is by how many people are waiting for rolls . Even on week days this place is bustling with crowd.
Since I'm a vegan, I only have Paneer Roll here and I love the roll served by them...always...I have had rolls at so many places, but this is my personal favorite.
And the best part is the pricing . Its absolutely pocket friendly.

It was a very favourite joint since my school days..located near to jaya cinema so it was always a place visited after movies..this joint is famous for its street food and snacks which i loved a lot..
i have tried its double chicken egg rolls,fish fry,fish kabiraji,chicken kabiraji,fish finger ,chicken lollipop..and their chowmein is very very tasty..they have huge sale and its always crowded with food lovers..they even serve north indian and chinese ..it serves some finger licking food which will leave a memorable taste u can never forget..
service is good but sometimes due to huge crowd u have to wait...but the tasty food served by them compensates for it..price is very reasonable ..just love it .!
