Singhji’s Kasba: Heaven for yummy food and awesome service!
It’s tucked away in Kasba believe me friends the sarson ka saag and the makke di roti will blow your mind for sure.
Kebabs are a treat and are super yummy one will feel the taste of ajwain so clearly in the chicken kebabs. Please go and try it for yourselves and I’m sure you won’t regret it.
Staff courtesy and service is on point and wonderful.
Keep up the good work and keep serving such yummy food.
Was there last Friday evening as a part of a big group. The food is amazing. Had Tandoori Pomfret, Fish Ajawaini Tikka, Chicken Bharta and much more. Each item was done to perfection. Service was prompt and courteous. Had a great time.

Met up with very old friends and colleagues and enjoyed to the hilt. Food was great and extremely tasty. Speaking of the starters - special mention was the Tandoori Pomfret which says a lot coming from a non fish-lover like me. The chicken kabab was also nice and so was the Gobi Tandoori I hear (I did not have it as I did not want to botch my carnivorous intents but was told repeatedly about what I had missed).
The main course was where the surprise lay. Mutton Handi - I doubt I have had mutton in too many restaurants where the meat was as tender as it was at Singhji’s. Add to it a distinctive taste. Same for the Chicken Bharta - an unique rendition of the commonplace item in all dhaba’s - with small chicken cubes (as opposed to shreds) in a distinctively flavorful thick gravy.
With Rasmalai to sign off, it was indeed a wonderful dinner shared in the company of some amazing people. Looking forward to visiting Singhji’s again.
P.S. Forgot to the mention the amazingly friendly staff and great service.

14 of us had visited Singhji’s Dhaba last Friday. Food was truly awesome. The Tandoori Pomfret is one of their signature dishes - a must try, you will not be disappointed. Another item I would like to recommend is their Tandoori Gobi, and we repeated the same order twice - guess that speaks a lot. Next we tried their Fish Ajwain - soft, succulent, mildly flavoured - a contrast to the spicy pomfret. The Chicken bharta which follows their family recipe was also finger licking good..
I am told to try their sarson ka saag in the winter, will review when I visit again next week 😊

We tried the Pomfret, Chicken Bharta, Mutton with Tandoori Naan.
Each dish was very tasteful and the price was right.
Easy going and comfortable ambience. For leisurely weekend, worth it.
Amazing kebabs. Staff is cordial. Murg lasuni tangri kebab is a must try. Crispy chilli bahycorn was okayish. But the schezwan chicken was amazing. Very spicy and lip smacking.
Great for casual gatherings with friends. It is not very fancy but a quiet cozy restaurant which you'd like to visit for a nice chat. The food quality is fine and it's very affordable.

I'd say north Indian is more preferable in here.

Strolling through the lanes of Kasba, me and and my friends discovered this Bar cum Restaurant near Ruby hospital last week and enjoyed a satiating meal. It is located just behind the Gateway hotel (the location provided on zomato is not correct).
The ambience is very simple yet cosy, not particularly fit for family dining but is good enough as a hangout.
We started with some TANDOORI PRAWNS. Six jumbo prawns with a spicy marinade, grilled to perfection. Squeeze a lemon over it and voila! A must try!
Another starter we tried was CHICKEN IRANI KEBAB. This one is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The kebabs were juicy and extremely flavorful.
For mains we tried, CHICKEN PULAO with MUTTON KASA. This was one of the best Chicken pulaos I've had. It had a lovely aroma and was very light. The mutton pieces in the kasa were a little chewy but the gravy was delicious. RECOMMENDED! We also tried one portion of CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA which was equally good... creamy and flavorful.
Ended the meal with some VANILLA ICE CREAM WITH FRESH CUT MANGOES, an all time favorite combo. It was so good, we ended up ordering additional portions of it 😂.
Also, the staff here is very polite and helpful.
Overall a lovely experience. Would love to visit again soon.
This place is situated just behind The Gateway Hotel, Ruby... It's one of the oldest Bar cum Restaurant in the area... They revived the ambience recently... I'm a regular visitor there... The service is good and the staffs are friendly...
Recommend dishes are..
"Mutton Boti Kebab" and "Tandoori Prawns" from the startars...
"Chicken Tikka Masala", "Masala Kulcha" from the main course...
"Vanilla ice-cream with Mango" from the desserts...
Pocket pinch is quite acceptable...

If you are looking for a pub with a pocket friendly price, Singhji's is one of the best and old place near Acropolis Mall. Nothing to tell about ambiance ,so let's talk about food directly. Tried some of their specialities .
Chicken Irani kebab :- Perfectly cooked and the kebabs were very soft.
Chicken Tikka Masala :- Perfectly cooked. Recommending.
Chicken Pulao :- The Pulao was great. Please try with Chicken Tikka Masala
Vanilla ice-cream with mango :- The dessert was perfect after meal . This tri colour dessert is basically made with raw mangoes, green flavoured syrup and vanilla ice cream.
The Hospitality was amazing and the staffs were really good.

Few days back I had dropped by this restaurant with some friends of mine. This is a small resturant cum bar located near Ruby. The interior is nice and the seating arrangement is comfortable. The service is good. They have a full bar available. The price of the food is pretty reasonable and the food they serve is really tasty.

Fish Ajawaini: This fish kebab was really tasty and well grilled. The spices were well balanced and the fish was soft and juicy. You get six pieces of kebab in one plate. It was served with salad and hari chatni. (Recommended)
Mutton Boti Kebab: The mutton boti kebab was well cooked and the kebab was flavorful. The kebab pieces were soft and yummy. (Recommended)

Vanilla Ice-cream With Mango: This was a simpel dessert yet it tatsed really good. Its basically mangoes that was cut into small pieces that had been placed insdie a glass and topped with vanilla icecream. (Recommended)

Singhji's is a bar cum restaurant situated at kasba. Very easy to locate. The ambiance is cozy and perfect place for hangout with friends. The cost is very reasonable here. So me and my friend tried -
Chicken Irani kebab - This kebab was tender and it had a smooth taste. Recommended.
Mutton Boti kebab - This kebab is a must try. It tasted awesome and perfectly made.
Mutton kasa - Mutton pieces were tender and soft. Perfectly goes with kulchas. Highly recommended.
Masala Kulcha - Perfectly made and it was soft.
Vanilla Ice Cream with mango - The must try things from here. Serving vanilla ice cream with mango chunks and mangi syrup. If you try once you can't resist yourself to have another one. Highly recommended.
So my overall experience was good. Loved this place. To hospitality to food everything was awesome. Hope to visit soon.

This place is located behind Gateway,few minutes of walking distance from Ruby hospital. The place serves such amazing lip smaking food. Their starters need special mention. Ambience and decor are quite simple,it was a bar cum restaurant. Now coming to the food we had-

Some dishes were pretty amazing,and some needs lil bit improvement.Chicken pulao was mind blowing in taste,where palak paneer lacked the taste and flavour.We paired kulcha with tadka dal,keema matar and palak panner. Went for pulao with chicken masala and mutton kasa. Overall it was quite good.
Dessert-
12. Vanilla ice-cream with mango(Highly recommended)
It was the start of the entire lunch menu.

Was here for lunch one fine afternoon,as we were not acquainted with the place so thought of giving it a try. Located at the back side of Gateway Hotel,the interior and decor is not something extraordinary but done in a simplistic way.
The food here especially the starters was something that I loved:
Chicken Irani Kebab, this is a must try as the hot kebabs just melted in the mouth, the chicken was juicy.
Mutton Boti kebab, could have been a bit better, the kebabs were a bit chewy and tasted moderate.
For the main course we ordered:
Keema Matar and Chicken Pulao, these dishes were really good. I liked Keema the most.
For dessert tried the Vanilla ice-cream with mango.
Overall it is definitely a hidden gem I must say.
Definitely going to try few other dishes the next time I visit here.
Singhji's is basically a bar and restaurant located at Kasba area behind of EM bypass Gateway hotel which is just few minutes walking distance from Ruby hospital bus stop. Ambience is pretty simple like old fashioned office para bars. They can accommodate 25-30 people at a time.
Tandoori Prawns: These yummy prawn kebabs have prawns marinated in garlic , lemon juice and other spices then barbecued until cooked through.
Chicken Irani kebab: Succulent chicken kebabs marinated with aromatic saffron and tangy lemon tasted delicious.
Chicken Tikka Masala: Chicken Tikka Kebab cooked in a very creamy and flavourful gravy.
Masala Kulcha: It was very soft and stuffing was perfect.
Vanilla ice cream with mango: They served fresh mango slices along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Overall every dish was very delicious and prices are also very reasonable.

Few days back I visited this old eatery in Kasba located very near Ruby Hospital. It’s easy to find out even if you ask anyone. The location mentioned in the google maps are however incorrect. It’s exactly located inside the lane just beside the Gateway Hotel in Kasba.
It’s a bar cum dining restaurant that specialises in Indian & Chinese delicacies. They seating is less. However it’s properly arranged. There was a huge television set which where we could enjoy the World Cup match.
Coming to the food, they served us Indian food. The service timing was moderate and the quantity & quality was enough for two individuals.
We tried
STARTERS
1) Fish Ajwani — A tandoori Fish starter that completely melts in your mouth with every bite. It costed around ₹280/- ( for six pieces )
2) Prawn tandoori — Big, juicy, fresh, firm and perfectly grilled Tandoori Prawns that was bursting with amazing flavors. The only negative thing I would point out is that it was bit Salty. Price was ₹280/- ( for four pieces )
MAIN COURSE
1) Palak Paneer — My all time favourite vegetarian dish. Though this isn’t the perfect season to have spinach but it tasted heavenly. Priced at ₹170/-
2) Masala Kulcha — Nothing much to say about it. It was soft and tasted great with Palak paneer. Priced at Rs 65/-
DESSERT
For me you just cannot go wrong is desserts. They just won my heart by providing me with creamy vanilla ice cream topped with a lot of Mangoes.
Overall my experience was great.
Good place to chill with frndszz.. food quality nd quantity is ENOUGH.. Drinks r reasonable... staffs are polite nd frndly.. Good work guys...👍🏾👍🏾
This is a perfect place for hanging out with friends ..the staffs are courteous and helpful..serves good finger food and drinks...some of the must try dishes are amritsari fish, chicken cheeza( I may not remember the names correctly since I never refer the menu)

The rotis were like sole of shoe. We wanted to send it back. It was hard as hell and the chicken was also not fully cooked. Hated the experience.

Landed here in search of beer. Though kingfisher was out of stock, we made do with tuborg. The place is great for those secret dates. The ambience is alright. Coming to the food, the tandoori chicken was nice. It was meaty and tasty. The biryani was a a semi let down. The boneless chicken was exciting but the rice and preparation were horrible. Price is alright.

Visited there on 1st of Jan 2018. An underrated bar cum Restro located 1km away from acropolis mall near GST bhavan. On that day when all the restaurants and cafes were fully packed we wanted somewhere to chill, away from the crowd and this was the perfect place. It serves not cheap but pocket friendly drinks and some delicious food dishes. We ordered chicken lolipop which was good. Nice for a few visits.
Very good food. Cordial staff. Great atmospher i loved chicken items. One must try egg tarka. Well stocked bar. Can visit wisit with family and friends.

I went to singhji's with my friend , simply because we didn't want a fancy, over priced , over hyped place to grab a pint of beer and simply chill.
The ambiance is ideal for those who believe conversation is stimulation and doesn't matter if you have loud music and amazing decor which works as an aphrodisiac for you . This place offers cheap booze and quick bites which is worth the quality and quantity. Do drop in and be a judge for yourself . We had ordered beer , and full plate tandoori chicken and Irani kebab. Plus point , you get really cheap Uber pool from there back to wherever you wish to go.

Happened to be a regular visitor during our Kasba days. Now since we have moved out to a different locality visits have become infrequent. But the care we still get from the manager and the staff is unparalleled. No where else did I ever get such personal touch.
Food and drinks are quite reasonably priced. Service is good and timely. Quality and taste of food quite good. We always have relied on the manager's suggestions and had never been misguided. Lighting is the only thing that needs some improvement. In every other respect this place is one of the bests in it's price group.

This place is perfect for a small session after hectic office schedule especially on Friday nights . All the kebabs sections especially Irani Kebabs,Jamuni Kebabs,Tandoori Chicken are superb .For spicy section mutton bhuna is good. If you become a frequent visitor, more you feel homely . This restaurant is not so decorated or something like that . If you want to just chill your leisure time with your peers,it's a good place.☺☺

Now coming to the food section...we ordered irani kebab with 100 pipers...so yummy kabab,I must say...then after finishing,we ordered butter nun with mutton Punjabi...spicy and delicious..quantity is also very good..serving and staff's behaviour is also very good..

It is basically a bar cum restaurant, so one cannot expect prim & proper ambience every time when they are with their family. But food is really well made. I have always preferred it as a take away counter.
It's divided into 2floors,we had our dinner upstairs. The food was good. We went for the chicken tandoori, it was good. Then we took the veg polao and Punjabi chicken masala,the chicken was quite bland as per my test, specially when it's called a Punjabi masala chicken. one major problem was the drink was served in a cracked Glass,when we complained, the drink was not changed, it was just poured into another glass. low light ambiance is good but the place was too dark,it was hard to even see the menu and the food.
Good place. Reasonable price and a comfortable environment. Good stock of beers all the time. They have a smoking room just beside the room, so that way also, its good :-D

Ahh this place has always been a weekend Exodus with a bunch of friends. Tue cheap alcohol encourages binge drinking. The place appeals to a decent corporate crowd. A perfect Saturday evening hangout in a pair of shorts.
The food they serve is not amazing but who cares when ur 3 shots down.

Ordered two tadka chicken rolls from here.They came at ecospace on the occasion of poila baisakh and had the counters.
Coming to food, the rolls were okay. The chicken was juicy but the overall rolls were dry.it's like something was missing .
Need to improve more to compete at this market level .
1. The quality of food and service exceeded our expectations.
2. The layout and the ambience of the eatery lounge could perhaps be improved.
3. Climbing the flight of steps is a little difficult for incapacitated. This can perhaps be looked into.
The cheapest bar in area near bypass.
It's near to my flat, so I use to come here regularly with friends.
The staffs know me very well and so we have friendly relationship between us.

Ambience: Not good.
Food: Average.
Special items are Chicken Punjabi and mutton Punjabi and Irani chicken
These are really spicy and delicious.
Staffs are well behaved and friendly.
Drinks are cheap compared to nearby bars.
If you stay near Ruby Hospital area.
Then it could be a good place for regular drinkers.
Good food. Not much great ambience. But yes when I write for a restaurant I majorly focus on quality of food and hospitality. However great to order for home delivery, food is of authentic Punjabi style. CHEERS
