Located at the heart of the city camac street, this joint has a wonderful ambience and variety of food options. You get buffet options at 360 (if bought from nearbuy) else 383. The food is good in taste and worth visiting for.
1. Tried their Special Dinner Buffet, which if bought through NearBuy, comes to around 750 rupees per person, inclusive of taxes.
2. There are 3 types of aerated beverages along with 4 types of mocktails.
3. There are Momos, Fried Prawns, Soup, Biryani and Chicken Chaap. Having tried all of them, I can vouch for the Mutton Biryani being good.
4. There's Chanar Kalia, Fish Fry, Fish Roll and Fish Kabiraji as well. I was a bit disappointed with the Fish Roll but the Chanar Kalia is the best that I have ever had anymore.
5. There were about 5-6 types of dessert as well and 5-6 types of chaat (which I unfortunately could not try).

It's a very nice place to fill your tummy with variety of foods and that too even in a very low cost.. I went with my friends two months ago and opted for lunch buffet that costs 350 bucks and we've enjoyed a lot. Their best item is hot gulab jamun which tastes really awesome.. I ate 8 and another item that has stolen my heart was their raita.. Very prompt location. Right from exide crossing towards nizam palace in left hand side this building is located on one corner of hotel senator.. I'd definitely suggest everyone for lavish food items in such a reasonable price.. Go and enjoy....

Its ambience was too good and quite peaceful to have food. The staffs were also cooperative. The foods were good in quality according to its price. The buffet will cost around 350/- per person (Rs 299 /- from nearbuy app).

Main course: in main course you'll find so many items of chicken, mutton,fish and rice with rumali roti and staffed puri or laccha..many types of salads also available.
Dessert: being a sweet tooth i love this part of food..baked sandesh is purely love..its layered with pure ghee and caramel..malpoya rabri pizza was also nice but keshar dahi was not upto the mark..and you'll also find chatni,papad and all.

This is one of my most favourite cafe. I have been coming here forever. Whenever I get a chance to pass by this area, I get inside it for some me time. I am quite friendly with Pranab who is a staff here.
Much alterations have been doing all these years but whenever I come in here, the old feeing of warmth come back. I also like Saifullah Khan who is also a good staff and have become my friend.
The food here is excellent. Non veg or veg whoever you may choose. Like for example I chose spinach cheese roll today. Better than many costly cafe.
But I love cold coffee with ice cream here. It is like being in Heaven.
Parking is not a problem at all.

Had lunch on weekdays. I found the best possible dishes with good quality and a good taste. Will visit this place again. There were sauces,salads, aloo chat, rayta, papad,veg manchow soup,assorted bread and butter, veg tossed chowmin, crispy chili potato,veg chow chow, fish manchurian, plain dehradun rice,dalmakhani,paneer,chicken kolhapuri, butter nun and hot gulabjamun. The show stopper was surely the fish manchurian, veg chowmin and chicken with butter nun. Hot gulabjamun was too good as taste wise and quality wise also.

Just like any other day, I was randomly scrolling Zomato in search of mid-ranged restaurants and suddenly I explored this place. Lounge Cafe serves multi-cuisine lunch buffet at an unbelievable pocket pinch of Rs 325 (or Rs 250, if you can manage a nearbuy voucher from the link given in blog). Though the review section was flooded by negative comments, we decided to give it a try.
Lounge Cafe is located at the ground floor of The Senator Hotel opposite to Industry House in Camac Street Area. First thing first, it is neither a lounge, nor a cafe. It is literally a small restaurant with seating arrangement for 18 – 20 people. There is no redundancy in the interior but its simple and appropriate decor would make you spend some more time.

The rating that I have given is based on the fact that I purchased a coupon from nearby as a result of which we payed 250 rupees for the buffet. This buffet has no starters. I went to this place after reading many reviews and what I realised is that this place keeps changing its menu. First, there were a variety of salads and achars. They we went, the menu was:
1) Raita(3/5) The Raita was good .
2) Sweet corn soup (2/5) The soup was not good at all. I even couldn't even have the whole of my portion.
3) Vegetable rings(4/5) These were pretty good and there was a Very tangy sauce along with it. The sauce was awesome.
4)Paneer(3/5) The paneer dish was awesome. I loved it.
5) veg noodles (3/5) The veg noodle was also pretty good.
6) your choice of assorted breads (2/5) we had masala kulcha. It was okayish. The kulcha hardly had any masala in it.
7) plain rice, Dal: I really didn't have any of this because I really didn't feel it is worth being in a buffet.
8) mix veg (3/5). This was pretty good. Enjoyed having this with kulcha.
9)Fish curry (5/5). The fish curry was awesome. The fact that they had fish in a 250rupees buffet was awesome. The fish was very well cooked and the the taste was also good.
10) garlic chicken (2/5) : The garlic chicken pieces had bones. But that would also have been okay if the taste would have been up to the mark.
All in all the buffet is fantastic if you are paying just 250 bucks for it. Can't expect more for 250 bucks.

Most the dishes were just amazing. Specially sorshe bata jhaal, hot garlic chicken & scezwan idly was damn tasty. Only thing which is bad for this buffet, they dont have any starter & in dessert section they could give icecream atleast. But looking at the price & other tasty dishes, I would say its ok. Ambience was also very attractive & staffs were also well behaved and helpful.

A traditional and popular hotel – The Senator Hotel based at Camac Street, opposite Industry House has introduced this restaurant – The Lounge Café, which is serving a decent buffet spread at unbelievably low prices! The name is quite confusing as this one is definitely not a lounge, but purely a restaurant! Went for their buffet lunch along with my elder brother and gorged upon the following: -
(i) Veg sweet corn soup – A decent start to a fine meal – tasty with decent amount of chopped vegetables! Had 2 servings of the same!, may be corn flour content can be regulated!
(ii) Sesame seed buns – These and a few tetra amul butter packs were available for consumption along with the soup. Although, these go along with soups like tomato, still tasted nice with sweet corn. In fact they were so tasty, you can have them standalone also!
(iii) Green salad – A must with quality North Indian food!
(iv) Lachcha onion
(v) Vinegar onion
(vi) Aloo chaat – An average quality chaat – boiled potatoes sliced and mixed with chopped onions, tomato, green chilly and lots of spices! Presumably, this one was the so-called starter of this buffet!
(vii) Plain curd – Went very well with the gravies!
(viii) Papad – This one is an unavoidable item, I cannot enjoy my North Indian palate without this – had 4 pcs of the same!
(ix) Hot Pickle
(x) Sweet Pickle
(xi) Chinese dry veg idly – This was may be the poor person’s babycorn – idly fried with Chinese sauces to perfection – tasty and also crispy! I did not really know that idly can also crisped so beautifully!
(xii) Veg Hakka noodles – Pretty ordinary on taste as well as presentation as well as quality! Appeared as if some down market noodles had been boiled along with some veggies and just served!
(xiii) Chinese Gravy veg – Amalgamation of varied vegetables – carrots, broccoli, beans, cauliflower etc marinated Chinese style with a pinch of garlic – Good, not great!
(xiv) Steamed rice
(xv) Masala kulcha – Awesome, I suggest you have it devoid of any gravies and will still taste wonderful! Great masala content and well prepared!
(xvi) Butter Naan – Somewhat chewy, may be because of the maida base!
(xvii) Tandoori roti – Fine, atta based and neatly done!
(xviii) Paneer capsicum – Was the only gravy available, overall verdict is good, but was somewhat throat burning!
(xix) Dal palak – Simplistic yellow daal with spinach imbibed within!
(xx) Gulab jamun – I personally don’t like gulab jamuns, but went for them here as this was the only dessert available and I am glad I did so! The gulab jamuns were piping hot and mouth-watering, had 4 pieces of it!
Service is great and the waiters refill the dishes ASAP! Nice to see the non veg dishes being kept in abeyance so that the vegetarians don’t feel discomfort! Ambience is great and I don’t mind spending a couple of hours on my dining table here!
Noteworthy that you can’t have very high expectations from a place offering buffet at such low prices!
Overall, a great experience – I definitely got my money’s worth – the Rs. 250 per head which I had invested! I hereby thank the management for this experience and wish them great success with The Lounge Café!

I was literally shocked when I saw their buffet prices. Then I saw this place is having such negative reviews. Still I explored and found it to be surprisingly good.
I got this buffet lunch for as low as Rs.250 on Nearbuy. Originally that costs Rs.325 inclusive GST.
This place is not very huge, buffet was simply spread alongside. Interiors were modern and overall ambiance was nice and comfortable. I liked their service too, Waiters were very much helpful also they were filling every dishes as soon as it was getting low, unlike some other cheap buffets.
Non-Veg were kept in a side so even vegans can enjoy this small buffet very well.

Punjab Ki Dal Makhani :
It wasn’t traditional Dal Makhani with lots of butter but was bit on the hot and spicy side that tasted good with Tandoori Roti.
Paneer Red & Yellow Capsicum in White Gravy :
I almost took it thrice, it was so creamy & tasted very well balance. Butter nan was just pleasure with it.
Yes, they also serve hot Tandoori Roti, Butter Nan & Masala Kulcha that is including in the buffet menu.

Langcha : Sadly it was one and only item in desserts section. I was surely missing ice cream at that time but again it reminded me the price. However those Langchas tasted very nice.
You visit KFC, they provide few pieces of shit that costs more than this buffet. Now what extra do you expect for that price?
They aren't charging you like a premium buffet neither they serve premium buffet. Expecting it to be is a bad idea. But the overall buffet was quite nice and value for money.
Don't get influenced by the negative reviews this place have. You've spent thousands of bugs in snacks bars so just give it a try. I don't think you will regret the experience at all.
Don’t know why people gave bad reviews about this joint. The restaurant is located in a prime location. Smart interior will definitely attract your eyes from outside. The entire spread was undoubtedly lavish and the price is also attractive. In Rs. 650, you will get soup to dessert including 🍤, 🍗, mutton and 🐟. Food was good in taste but starters are big disappointment. Management must take care of starter section, the Reshmi kabab was not at all soft.
Delicious yummy food served here, one of the best places to dine in, quick service good staff, they maintain a lot of hygiene here.
