One of the reputed Bengali cuisine restaurant inspired by Satyajit Ray’s master piece Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen. The food was good follows the traditional Bengali approach. However I think the menu variation including fusion of Bengali dishes expected to meet the eye of food lover expectation. Overall nice place to be with your family and friend.

Home made bengali items are available in here. All thalis are very good, mutton items are very delicious.. Rice is some what wety. Kochur shak and fish fry would have been better. Service is very prompt and courteous. Atomphere is excellent, two floors are very much different in ground floor one can get nostalgic feelings.

It is a well known bengali cuisine restaurant near Jadavpur. Both buffet and ala carte options are available but we have visited there for the aiburobhat ritual of our friend. The second floor is known as hirak rajar Darbar and I must say the interior is stunning and beautiful as well. We have opted for aiburobhaat thaali and each and every items on that thaali was so delicious. Quantity was okayish according to the price. Overall we had a good time.

Nice for Bengali cuisine. Food is good and a little costly. Pure authentic Bengali food with the flavour of culture. Decoration and everything has two options..rajbari and local Bengal folks. Bhoot came and entertained. Thalis are good and sufficient for one person.

Hi, We went to Jadavpur outlet. Ordered Gopir thali, Baghar thali, gondhoraj ghol and extra rice. Thalis are shareable but not enough for two people, so we ordered extra rice. Dishes won't be repeat for thali. Foods were really very tasty. Being having huge queue, foods served to us quite fast . Staffs, ambience, services everything were courteous and warming. My son loved their caring efforts and ambience. Thanks for year end good lunch. Will visit next year.

Nice food quality. The atmosphere is also very nice. At first we ordered aam panna and cold drinks. Too many thali options are there. We ordered 3 types of thali. There are 4 types of fish. Chingri malaikari, pabda jhal, ruhi kalia, bhetki paturi are there. And also 2 types of mutton preparation are there. Lastly chatni, papad, payesh and rosogolla are very much needed.

I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because they played a horror music that was same repetitive sound that be some unbearable after 20 min . Rather I would recommend them to play songs from Hirok Rajar deshe, Gupi Bagha to go with the theme . The food was very tasty and good quantity for the price . The service was quick . I recommend this place

Considering the hype around this place we went at 12pm thinking it would be empty bt it was jam packed. We ordered basanti polao, rajbari khasir mangsho, rajbari murgir mangsho, aam panna and rosogolla. Believe me every dish was jst superb and lip smacking. The mutton was very tender and juicy so as the chicken. 1basanti polao is more than enough for 2ppl and it was very tasty. Aam panna was refreshing. Ambience was jst awesome. It takes u to a different era where we can see the waiters dressed in rajbari poshak and they don't give us food untill we clap with both hands as per traditions. Very good place bt it remains crowded always so keep time in ur hand before visiting here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Overall a very interesting place, with good food. Because of the theme, I went back quite a few years to my childhood. I grew up on Goopi Bagha, and always wanted to taste the food they used to eat. Keep up the good work.

Yesterday I had gone there to give " Aiburobhaat-' for my brother. Both the floors are excently designed but for photography the upper floor is better. They also arranged for the boron dala. The food was awesome. The behaviour of their staff members is excellent. Overall a great experience.

A royal treatment awaits all those who are planning to visit. A word of caution: their Thalis are humongous, and it's difficult for one person to finish it, so order carefully Lastly, we celebrated our mother's birthday, and they have a unique tradition for this! Please visit and celebrate your loved one's birthdays here to find out.
