This place had the vibe. I quite liked the ambience of the place. It had sections like the high-class booze area, a dimly lit area, a dark smoking zone and a family area. After a whole tiring day of pandal hopping and unhealthy junk food, it was time for a nice chill out session. We ordered carlsberg smooth(650 ml). I must say it was my first try on carlsberg and I totally loved it. As a side dish we took shredded chilli chicken. It was one of the nicest thing on the planet. The quantity was huge. The chicken was so soft and the flowers were on. We didn't expect appetizers to be so good. Then we ordered blenders pride (30 ml). Totally satisfied with how things turned out there. The staffs are extremely friendly and their behaviour won our hearts. Paisa wasool! A big thumbs up for this place.

Good Food is the reason of good mood, actually it’s a singing bar ! But I love to spent time in the lounge section , you can get hookah over here for this particular section, they also have a family and a gents section along with lounge & the singing bar! Good food and good stuffs and very quick service attract me every time for this place.
The ambiance is awesome with savourous food and delicately served and very cordial receivable behaviour of the staffs.in a nut shell its an immemorable spot to be haunted often.the best part is its economic....
Went here a long time back when I was used to go to South Point. Liked the place all in all. Decoration is fine. Food is also good. Service is friendly.

An age old bar cum restaurant which still now provides the relatively lost tradition of bar singers in the heart of South Kolkata, Su Swagatam is a place I have seen everyday since my school days but never dared to enter till I got my office just in a walking distance from it. Huge seating space separated for families, casual drinkers and bar enthusiasts. Service is really never their strong point, waiters and managers all are more keen on getting tips than providing a service on time, but the regulars really don't go there for the service. The attraction is cheap booze and lip smacking finger foods. And quite obviously I never ever tried any of their main courses to be honest. A bottle of beer and mostly the Masala peanuts , chicken pakora, chilli chicken are the automatic choices we have. If you really don't care about a fine dining experience and want to have some " bawali" with old pals this place provides a beautiful pocket friendly alternative.
This is a place frequented by middle aged paunchy men or groups of young adults, all looking for a drinking hole. Went to this place for a quick lunch with some people from office. They have a non-ac seating area as well as two air conditioned enclosures.
I had their Chilli Fish, Mixed Friend Rice and a hot red chicken gravy and a Masala Coke to wash it down. The fish was cooked well, the coating thin, even and crunchy, while the rice was loaded with shrimps. The chicken too was juicy though the gravy had too many Bell peppers.
Though this is not the kind of place I would go to very often, I have to agree that the food was pretty good.
I visit there because of their welcome, never look for ambience but good place to drink beer, had kalmi kebab, which was upto my expectation
I loved the tandoori chicken and the tikka kebab that I ordered here. The service was amicable. The only detractor for me is the noise...and yes i mean it...from the music...always loved a relaxing drink with grilled stuff n serene environment
I recently visited the place on 3rd October, 2014. The food is good and ingredients used are very fresh. Though they prepare a different menu for the puja days, which is quite frustrating for regular visitors like me; but the staffs are well-mannered. There is also live performances by local artists , which adds glitz and glamour to the dine-in experience.

It wasn't crowded even on the Navmi night. Service is excellent. Compared to other South Kolkata restaurants, prices are not excessive.
Has a distinct area for parties, ac, and non-ac.
Drinks don't cost a lot of money.

Fried chicken in the starter was flavorful. The fried rice and the slightly spicy Scheizwan chicken were also excellent.
The staff provides good services as well.

It's a very conveniently located bar just before the Gariahat flyover just across Bhandari Automobiles in Ballygunge. It's good for office goers and very reasonable. A simple beer and a plate is snacks would be in the range of Rs 600 to Rs 900 inclusive of GST.
Totally changed with a new makeover. The ambiance is good. Food is good. Clean. But the restroom is very small. Sitting arrangements has been changed. You will get uneasy in sitting space. It's not a big issue for groups.

This place is really nice. Food quality is also good and the ambience is very suitable for people who like noise free place.

One of the oldest bar cum restaurant of South Calcutta. It is traditional and evenly priced. You can have a good ambience at this place. Though right now, due to COVID situation there are some limitations.
The decor has been revamped recently but the seats are very uncomfortable. The menu needs to introduce some more options, but a good place to go for a drink near the Gariahat area.

Was an excellent place as it was so homely but recently they have upgraded the place ,the new look is appealing but prices are really unplanned... The menu needs to be checked and prices should be considered keeping in mind kind of local client's

It’s just opposite Gariahat Pantaloons showroom. Not expensive, good food quality. If you visit there please try their fish starters. And they have open bar space too.
