The quality of food is really very good.I went here atleast 2-3 times.I like their ice cream especially. The mixed fried rice(which consists of pork) is also very delicious.
have been a regular customer of their ajc bose road outlet. food quality is as good. price ofcourse is on higher side but i never repent only because of the taste of food. I have been a fan of chinese food from Jimmys Kithchen from my childhood days when my late father used to tske us there for having quality chinese food
Awesome food. Delicious pork items and all of them are a must try. The drinks cost are moderate and all range of brands are available. Ambience is okayish but the food makes it a super worthy place to visit
Good food and service is very good! Quick to serve and is located at the heart of Eastern Metropolitan Byepass ...Very underrated though.....
Golden fried prawn was just above the level but the sweet roasted pork was a bit dissapointing!
The chilli fried mushroom had stolen the show , it was far more better than expected.
This restaurant is spotted by anyone travelling on the bypass flank that leads to science city. Red dominates the interiors of this restaurant, and the seats can accommodate large of groups of ten or twelve . The service here is adequate, and the staff are courteous. However , some items on the list of alcohol might not be available. The roast chilli pork here is served fat free , and tastes good , with coriander sprinkled on top that didn't add to the taste . The restaurant has a nice view of the road outside , and is great for eating out with family in the evening.
To get the real flavours of China, jimmy's kitchen is where you need to go. One of the oldest joints that serves authentic chineese foods at absolutely affordable prices. The sitting arrangements are very cozy and comfortable with proper ambience. 😍😍
The pork dishes are a must try. Especially the Chilly Roast Pork, pork fried rice and Pork Fried Rice. Besides these the crabs items are also great.
Nice place, nice food and nice ambience.. perfect for grp hngout or date..just opo of sanjha chulha near science cty...same building of LANDMARK hotel..
Liquor price is also ok....
Having visited the outlet on AJC road on multiple occasions, we decided to pay a visit to this place, our first time here. And it turned out to be a pleasant experience. The food was extremely good, just like that available at their branch on AJC Bose Road. The place was not at all crowded, thus enabling us to enjoy our dinner in absolute peace. Service was prompt and efficient. The decor was decent. Food has always been the USP of Jimmy's kitchen and it was no different here. We ordered Golden Fried Prawns, Fried Chilli Fish, Chicken, shrimp and egg Hakka Chow, Chicken, Shrimp and Egg Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken and Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce. We are acquainted with the taste that the Jimmy's Kitchen brand has to offer and one thing for sure is that they do maintain the same high standards here. We did enjoy our dinner and there is no doubt about the fact that....this place is definitely worth revisiting.
P.S. For those people having a car of their own, car parking is very easy here due to the abundance of space, and the restaurant being a part of the Landmark hotel. So a thumbs up for Jimmy's in that area too.
I liked the place a lot
Location is quite odd but many times I have spotted this place
I came here with a lot of expectation and Jimmy's kitchen didn't disappoint me.
The pork items are ver good... If one is looking a good place to talk and having drinks and food, then can opt for it.... Lot of space for parking... But plz ask for the printed vat bill for drinks...
The pork preparations are a special mention over here.. Have tried all the pork preparations and all the good.. The service is good.. And not many people come here so u get the special time u need with the person.. Great place to hangout. For food n time.. But make sure u ask for a printed bill for the vat u r giving...
I visited this place recently with my friends. The quantity of food was decent so was the taste but everything was very oily. Liked the location as it's bang on EM Bypass and has plenty of parking.
Good service and great food at decent price is the USP of this place.
It is our regular go to place when we are in a big group and being on bypass is highly accessible.
Please try out the chinese fishfinger, roast pork and dry chilli chicken.
Drinks are also decently priced
Nice place, good tasty food, but was expecting better than this... overall good. Few items are awesome, but few are not that tasty. It's good for family and friends outing.

From my college time i was thinking of having food from Jimmy's Kitchen but finally i made it after 6yrs...
Food was awesome and lovely environment.
Thumbs up
1) Food quality and quantity
2) staff behavior
3) Fast services
Jimmy's Kitchen on EM Bypass near Science City is a very convenient place to dine or hang around with friends for an evening drink.
The entrance is crowded with lorries/trucks and parked cars making it a bit inaccessible or unattractive, but the moment you drive up close you will be surprised by a clean driveway and ample parking space inside the premises.
The ambience is good but nothing special. Its never too crowded and quality of diners is definitely classy. You can safely dine with family in decent company.
The best thing I like here is the food. Starters and main course are both very tasty, fresh and sufficient in quantity. Fish Finger, Crispy Chicken, Dried/Semi gravy Machurian in starters, Mixed Fried Noodlrs/Rice, Gravy Chow has always been my preferred dishes and they have never disappointed.
Great place, good location and good food. Try it out!!
This is one of the most accessible dine-out space near to my office. The service is prompt, the food is decent and the price is not very high. If you are planning to drink with your buddies and want to have decent starters and food near science city. This could be your choice at any point of time in a month. Enjoy. :)
Its a mixed feeling. On one hand the place is quiet, food is quiet good, ambience is sober and tables are easily available. On the other hand, often many dishes are discouraged citing reasons that it will take a long time to prepare. The cost is quite on the higher side. Not a very happening place. Couples who like to have privacy and want a peg or two to drink or a family outing for a late plan can be encouraged to visit the place.
service is quite good and promt, maybe it's beacuse most of the time only 3 to 4 groups of customers are there. So , if you enjoy having your meal in a quiet environment and also if you don't like to stand in a queue to get a table, Jimmy's Kitchen is the one. I would also recommend Jimmy's Fortune Chow Mein, because it's really good , though everything is a bit (if not a lot) overpriced.
Very prompt service, convinienty located on the bi pass. I like the food at jimmy's kitchen. Enjoyed the chill pork just eat it hot. I have to say the food has improved since the last time I had eaten a meal there.

We always enjoy coming here if it's a weekend coz not many people come here...tables are easily available.
We always order our favorites and their specials. Also, crab is almost never available.
Went there twice and liked the place. Good food, especially the pork and shrimp preparations. Also, food comes at a reasonable price, too. Tough to get back home if you don't have a car. Food is really good and I'd recommend it.
This outlet of jimmy's kitchen located on the em bypass is a great option for Chinese food. Although commutation to this place is a little hazardous as you might face difficulty in finding a cab back home. The place is spacious and the service is good. We ordered chicken sweet corn soup, crispy chicken and golden friend prawns for starters. The food was fresh and tasty. For main course we ordered mixed hakka noodles (which has pork but we opted for chicken and prawns and egg), chicken fried rice and chili chicken. The chilli chicken has 8 pieces. The price is moderate and we had to pay nearly 3.5k as our bill, which also included of alcohol. If you are looking for a good chinese dine-in the jimmy's kitchen is a good option.
Great service -- good food -- nice and quiet ambience
This is getting to be one of our favorite haunts for very snappy service with a smile, and reasonably well cooked food to boot.
The approach road (or lack thereof) from the Bypass to the restaurant is pretty badly rutted, but parking is easily available.
The chef makes a good effort not to completely destroy the taste and texture of the ingredients by drowning them in sauces and burying them in thick layers of cornflour -- which seems to be the standard at most local restaurants masquerading as "Chinese"!
This was the first time i visited this place and am sure il visit it again.Loved the interiors and also the food.Service is satisfactory and prompt. The pork egg chowmein was worth it and is a must try.The chilli chicken which they claimed special was not so special.
This is nearer to my home, so I was thrilled to see it there.
I went there with my parents on one occasion and with my boyfriend on another. There was enough parking space. The food was not different from other branches. Loved the wanton. The dry chilly chicken was also splendid. The wine offer is also attractive.
as always jimmy's kitchen never fail to meet up expectations....
heavenly tested food with good cozy ambience...
Always my first priority if someone ask for good Chinese. .
Just past science city, this reataurant, a branch of the more famous Theater road branch, Is full of reasons to come back. The food is one of the better, the ambience is nice and intimate. Good staff and a nice choice of thirst killers, if you know what i mean. Go, you may not be coming out with stars in your eyes or Angels on your tongue, but you will be damn happy with your food.
If your to visit any of the restaurants in the Chinatown area of Kolkata, you may find the food to be not so pleasing these days. Instead take an off route and visit Jimmy's Kitchen at Landmark Hotel.
This restaurant happens to be a branch of the more well known Jimmy's Kitchen at Theatre Road. Not belonging to the category of the exorbitant priced restaurants,it delivers very simple food in many styles like Hakka and Cantonese.
I tried the Chilly Pork Chops at this restaurant along with the American Chopsuey. Got a little taste of the Cantonese Chicken and the Regular Chicken Hakka Chowmein.
To gulp it down you can go for the mango mocktail or a few drinks of your choice at the adjoining bar.
To end it all I had the Mango ice cream.
What particularly impressed me was the quantity of the food this restaurant offers at a reasonable price.
Overall it was a good experience.
Would really love to see this place grow and introduce a few unique preparations.
A place of famous parentage..yet strangely less frequented....possibly bcs of close proximity of the legendary China town...yet this outlet of one of the old Chinese houses of this great city has such delightful pork dishes...that it seems the cook posses a pig talisman :-)
I have heard many an old-timer swear by the food of the old Jimmy's Kitchen situated on AJC Bose Road. While I have never visited the AJCBose road restaurant, it would be difficult for me to compare their EM Bypass restaurant with their AJC Bose road place. However, I must admit that I quite like the food and the ambiance of Jimmy's Kitchen situated on EM Bypass! The decor is typical to a Chinese restaurant with red being the predominant colour used on the sign-board outside to the upholstery of the seats inside. Despite the use of red colour, the place never comes out as garish or loud and i have often found myself to get surrounded by a soothing calmness whenever i have stepped inside the restaurant.
Talking of food, the Thai tom Yum soup is a favourite of mine and i always end up with a feeling that the qty served is a bit on the lesser side. The pork dishes, specifically the chilly pork is another favourite of mine and agaian, i always end up ordering two plates for two people lest my portion is insufficient for my needs! The Jimmy's special fried rice is another "must-order" dish for me and i simply love the double-fry egg that they serve on top of teh fried rice. The chunks of chicken, pork and shrimps are also quite liberally added in this dish inceasing its "yum" quotient many notches higher!
During my last visit, came to know that they have started the loyalty programme. One needs to preserve the bill and when this bill is showed during the next visit, the diners would be entitled to a certain discount. This is welcome news indeed and i am definitely planning to go there at the earliest in order to satiate my craving for all those excellent preparations that this restaurant keeps dishing out everytime!
After visiting AJC bose rd branch I have an attraction of Jimmy`s kitchen`s other outlets and coz of its location in bypass star hotel Landmark and satisfied.Decent decorum with large sitting arrangement they serve their trademark pork dishes. Thanks to the management for serving us such type of food for the years no need to glorify them once again bt 4 nu foodies must try this Jimmy`s Kitchen. Only suggestion -- pls think about our wallet also.
we went there one hungry afternoon and had pork noodles and ginger chicken. tasted good and the portions were good too.
the staff was courteous and the delivery prompt. they even offer discounts on return visits.
Dined here on New Year's Eve, 2013. The ambiance is alright, although between hosted in a hotel, I would've expected the interiors to be more lush and warm.
Coming to the service, the promptness was off and on and often we had to ask different staff to take orders.
The food was good. We had Golden Fried Prawns and Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls for starters. The Spring Rolls were perfectly done. However, I found the prawns to lack seasoning and marination.
For the main course, we ordered Mixed Noodles and Fried Rice which were both good enough. For sides, we ordered the Chilli Roast Pork and Sichuan Chicken. The Pork was very dry and rubbery, however the preparation was pretty good. The Sichuan Chicken was very bland in its taste with the flavour of the tomato and chilli sauces overpowering the taste of the ingredients.
Overall, it was a good experience but was left wanting a little bit after hearing good things about the branch on Theatre Road.
