Well Decorated Nice people & Tasty food. I love this place.
The taste of the foods are very good. Enjoyed team lunch with unique ambience.
We had a team lunch at Pisces. Food quality is awesome, specially the starters, staffs are well mannered. Location is also good, its near to Purta Bhawan Saltlake. Will surely visit again.
The dining area is very beautiful. Very beautifully furnished. Sitting arrangement are very comfortable. When I visited the place we took:
BAMBOO BIRYANI:
To all Biryani lovers out there. I highly recommend you guys to taste this variant of biryani. Some people say that it doesn't have the actual taste but personally it has a slightly different flavour and I just loved it.
MALAYSIAN RICE:
The rice is tossed with green basil sauce giving it a unique flavour .You can choose the variant among veg/chicken/seafood.
BEIJING RICE:
The rice is stirred with red spicy sauce and veggies gives you tasty and unique feeling. The preparation is served in three variant veg/chicken/seafood.It's must try for spicy🌶️ lovers !!
CHILLY WINE SQUIDS:
The squid pieces were very soft and tasty. The sauce in which squid pieces are tossed along with vegetables, were very delicious.
Quantity was enough even for 2 and a half person😁tbh i couldn't alone finish that!.but taste was really up to the mark !!service was good!but fact is that it really a bit expensive !otherwise ever thing is alright !
CRAB STICK with OYSTER (liked the most) ... DRAGON PEPPER SQUID ...
SPICY SEAFOOD NOODLES with TUNA and PRAWN
STIR FRY KEM HEONG LAMB ...
PRAWN CHHENA PAYESH (unique/signature dish)...
@PISCES , Saltlake sector 2 ...
Specializes in seafood cuisine..
Every item is differently and beautifully garnished which would appeal to your aesthetic sense...
Regarding ambience, the interior is sufficiently lit up and walls being decorated nicely.
Food was really tasty, but the service was extremely slow. We literally waited for 20minutes, after initial order and 10 mins after every second order.
If service, would have been quick, I would rated this place 5/5 as food is super yummy.
We tried cheese corn balls, Pomphret Fry, Jeera Rice and Dal.
Also, took parcel for Chicken Tikka and Pomphret Tandoor which was yummy as well.
Go if you want to pass time and you have a good company along with you to chit-chat.
You can't visit if you are short of time.
We wanted to have a quick meal in between our visit to the book fair. We ordered a non veg chinese thali and one plate malayasian chicken noodles. The noodles were very much fragrant that came from kafir limes and lemongrass, with generous amount of shredded chicken, baby corn and many kind of vegetables. The chinese thali consisted of veg soup, noodles and burnt chicken, each item tasted awesome. Very nice treat indeed.
Last week my friends and I had dinner at Pisces. We ordered Salmon, Mackerel, Red Sanpper fish, Mutton vindaloo, Meghalaya Chicken, Tribal rice. Taste of food was awesome. specially the Salmon preparation. Red Snapper fish quality was also good. Mutton vindaloo could been better but no so bad. Lastly the "Surprise" mocktail was really a surprise, at every level it had a different taste which was actually suggested by the chef. I enjoyed the food.
Pisces is located in sector 2, salt lake, kolkata. With a very quaint and a cute ambience, it is a perfect go to place with your friends and have a nice time and chill. You can also try out their amazing sea food range.
We had burnt chili sauce octopus priced at Rs.380 and chicken malaysian rice priced at Rs. 210. The octopus was very tasty and soft in the mouth. And the rice has the perfect mixture of spicy and sweetness, making it very sweet and fresh.
In frame : 1. Chicken malaysian rice - Rs. 210.
2. Burnt chili sauce octopus - Rs. 380.
Rating : 4.4/5.
This outlet Is located at Saltlake this this one of my favourite Sea food place. On my a minimum of 1 visit daily to this month on weekends is fixed.
I loved their food and the ambience is also good the prices of the dishes are a bit over priced but since they are able to provide good quality Food price is not a factor.
I loved the Bamboo biryani specially the unboxing part it was very beautifully packed in a bamboo, and I also had Crabs and a soup which was very tasty it had sqids, prawns and many more sea animals in it.
At the end I had the dessert which was prawn chanar payesh it was very tasty the blend of prawn and payesh was very good.
Talking about their service it's a bit late they take long time serve the food to the customers. I hope they would work on this aspect to improve it.
Talking about the ambiance it's good.
Verdict :- If you are a sea food lover then you are most welcome to this outlet with your friends and family I hope they will be able to serve you the best of sea food.

Want to visit this place again
Located in saltlake, am unless you are conversant with the place will be difficult to locate, ao use Gps.
From the name, it has mostly fish based dishes, including sea food. One should try the seafood platter which has the combination of fish, prawns, squid starters.
The thai noodles is a good option along with prawn.
They also serve different dishes from various regions which I am yet to try.

Pieces is located near sector 2, Salt lake.
ambience of this this place is quite good and it's really spacious. Accomodate upto 30-40 people at a time.
This place serves some amazing seafood dishes. I've tried Fish in thai green curry- it wasn't the traditional Thai curry, but I really liked the thickness of the gravy. Next I've tried Chicken Bamboo Biryani which was really good. Next one was sticky rice, which wasn't the traditional Japanese sticky rice but I loved the flavour and texture of it.
Overall it was a good place to visit. My experience here was really nice.
This review is based on only one dish that I tried- crabmeat in chilli wine sauce. Firstly, I think they took chilli quite literally and the dish was very spicy with bits of chilli in almost every bite. There was a generous amount of crab meat. It was cooked in the usual Indo-Chinese style with onions, bell peppers, garlic, spring onions and had those typical flavours but slightly magnified due to the wine. However, I found the dish too oily.
Located in Sector 2, as its name suggests, Pisces specialises in seafood.
Good food, courteous staff, decent and tasteful decor are the highlights of this hidden gem.
We tried the following:
◾Malaysian Rice noodles(chicken)→recommend
◾Beijing Rice noodles (seafood) →highly recommended
◾Seafood Momo 4.5/5
◾Spicy seafood noodles 4/5
◾Chicken platter 4.5/5
Overall the food was delicious and the service was impressive. Worth a try!
Visited this place last week. We were in the area looking for a pocket friendly restaurant just to have lunch. My girlfriend picked a random restaurant from Zomato search with seafood in menu. That's how we discovered this gem. Atmosphere is very good. Staff behavior is excellent. We couldn't decide what to order in the second attempt and staff were still patient and polite. In the end we ordered one plate Spicy Seafood Rice and one plate Squid in Butter Garlic sauce. We didn't have much money so decided to share. But one plate was easily enough for two people. The quantity was too much. The taste was excellent. One of the best seafood I have tasted so far in Kolkata. Will visit again soon.
It is nearby Salt lake City Center. We had ordered the Malaysian Chicken Rice and Mutton Bamboo Biriyani which was great in taste. The taste was a bit different from other Rice preparations and the Bamboo Biriyani stole our heart. Would love to visit this place again.
First the ambiance of the place is super.. A wonderful place for having dates and hang out with friends. Good quality food. Specially bamboo chiken biriyani was soo yammie. Flavours of all elements were so clear. Over all its a really good experience including service.. 🥰🥰
First of all the behavior of the staffs and the service deserve more than 5 🌟
Here are the dishes we ordered:
#1 Burnt Chilly Sauce Octopus- 4 🌟
#2 Crispy Lamb With Raw Mango- 4 🌟
#3 Fried Chilly Squid- 5 🌟
#4 Smokey Sauce Chicken- 5 🌟
#5 Sopo Rice in Red Topping Seafood- 5 🌟 (Recommend)
#6 Sticky Rice With Lotus Leaf Veg- 3 🌟
All the items are very very good..But the crab was not available..I missed that..I will be coming next time for the #Sopo_Rice and for the Crab 🦀.
Well it’s true that I haven’t visited the place physically but I ordered the Chicken bamboo biryani last night and I didn’t expected that they’d actually deliver the biryani in a bamboo... the taste is good maybe some gravy would be great and it’s sufficient for two people.... and it’s not very rich also... I’ll definitely visit this place someday...
Ordered Malaysian Chicken Rice from the restaurant via Zomato. The order came in quick and much faster than expected.
I had instructed the restaurant for a ❌🌶️non-spicy dish and they did follow the instruction.
The rice had pudina as an ingredient adding 💚 green colour to it. There were enough Chicken pieces in the whole food item.
The quantity served was adequate for two people.👫
The restaurant is one of the best Chinese🐲 restaurants in Salt Lake Sector II.
People who love sea food as well as experimental tribal food, should pay visit here at least once bcoz I found this place is no where less capable than Santas Fantasea when it comes to amaze ur taste buds with new experiments.
Very neat and clean with nive decor. We had chicken bamboo biryani, Darjeeling chicken and crispy lamb with raw mango. Everything was new to us, but they all tasted so so good. Would love to visit again.

So guys what are you people waiting for visit the restaurant, have fun and enjoy yourselves.
To be honest,no taking names but there was only one proper sea food reataurant in town with delivery options.
And I tried this one with options of crab meat which was amazingly succulent and fresh and delicious!!
The overall food was great and I loved it!!
For a change from all knows buffet for a seafood restaurant and the other one, this was was my favourite!!
Im ordering again now else might comeover its going to be recurring as long as they maintain the standards!!
Visited the outlet late night on Rath Yatra.
Despite being short of hands, the staff were courteous & prompt. The place is beautifully decorated & cosy.
Our menu for the night included
Dhuwan Gosht, Smoked Bamboo Chicken, Rice Flour Pan Cake, Crispy Lamb With Raw Mango, Naga Style Mutton With Bamboo Shoot, Cheese Paratha, Sopo Rice in Red Topping - Seafood.
All the foods were delicious. Hope to visit again soon, to try other dishes
I would like to rate the place on 3 categories
1)Ambiance:
The place clearly claims itself as a seafood specialty restaurant and the decor compliments it. Nothing too extravagant about the interior of the restaurant and can be considered for casual dining.
2)Service:
We went there on a weekday and the restaurant wasn’t buzzing which was expected. Initially we were the only customer and we enjoyed the amount of attention that was given to us. The service was amazing to be honest. We even ordered specially customised dishes which were out of the menu.
3)Food:
We orderd Octopus in spicy sauce, squid in chilli wine pepper sauce, regular lobster, smoked bamboo mutton, maccha patro pora, crispy lamb with raw mango, seafood sticky rice with lemon and lemongrass (specially made), cheese tuna salad, meghalaya special mutton in red gravy. Same as always we had to skip the dessert because we were already full.
The cook on the octopus and the squid was fabulous. They were tender and succulent. Overall the food was great. If you have visited Santas Fantasea you will definitely find similarities.
Suggestion:
Must have- squid, octopus, look for the Chinese pomfret(huge in size) which wasn’t available that day but the server kept bragging about it.
Been here once muttonbamboo biriyani is a must try over here decor is unique staffs are good as well in total nice experience with food as well as with the ambience
A great seafood restraunt in town . They provide great unique seafood items i.e. prawn chana payesh, octopus, squid ,crab and many more. All of them tastes fantastic. And specially the special chef item "conginaro" is fabulous .Its very unique and awesome in taste. The bamboo chiken and bamboo biriyani is amazing. Amazing experience. A very must try restarunt for all.
mouth watering dishes it was...😋😋🤤
ambience and foods not too much good but it's good.. specially it's just a place to maintain the level of their standard..🙄
at first we ordered a sea food which was squid tentacles to mixed and melt with red wine..well served by them...😑
as I was never before trying any sea foods so that's why it's a very terrible condition for me.maybe it's a tasty food for others but for me.. I'll say worst dish ever..
seriously I'll never trying anymore.😭😫😑🙏
then i ordered crispy baby corn..which was nicely done by them..🤩🤩🤩🤩
and in the main course we ordered bamboo biriyani..it's good but if you will taking my opinion then I'll say to you any other biriyani is better than bamboo biriyani..🤔🤔🤔
overall it's good.😜😜.
you can visit this place with your family and friends..👌👌
One of my favourite sea food restaurants. Loved everything about it. The decor ,the food, the staffs. Everything top notch.❤️
We ordered:
⭐Fried chilly squid:250/-
Loved it. It could be a replacement for French fries in Seafood. The sweetness of the red cabbages, and juicy and chewy taste of the squids are love. 5/5
⭐Beijing seafood rice: 220/-
A tribal rice dish from Beijing. It has a seafoody taste with prawns, squids and veggies. Tribal thingy smell. 3.5/5
⭐Burnt chilly chicken:280/-
Normal chilly chicken with a dark colour. Loved it as well. 3.5/5
The portions are more than enough for 2 people. I love this place. Hope to visit soon.
This is at Salt Lake, never really noticed it earlier but this is an hidden gem. The quality of the food here is amazing. We had ordered Malaysian rice and garlic squid. Loved how the squid was prepared. This is a must visit one.
It was on wishlist for quite some time.. but somehow couldn't plan a visit.. until last week .....
Location is quite easy to find .. it's in saltlake sector 2 .. in close proximity to Bikash Bhavan ..... u can PARK your CAR by the side of the road which is wide enough and never crowded at any time of the day ....
Coming to food .... it specializes in seafood cuisine .... we had CRAB STICK with OYSTER (liked the most) ... DRAGON PEPPER SQUID ... SPICY SEAFOOD NOODLES with TUNA and PRAWN and STIR FRY KEM HEONG LAMB ... In desserts i liked the PRAWN CHHENA PAYESH item ..... Tastewise they were all good .. but what drew my attention was their garnishing style!! Every item was beautifully garnished and served differently which appealed to our aesthetic sense .... Pricing was also another plus point ... it's quite affordable compared to latest market standards ...
Regarding ambience, the interior is sufficiently lit up and walls being decorated nicely (pics included) ... the restaurant is actually comprised of 1 spacious room (more like a dining hall) and 1 medium sized room and a third one under construction .... Staff is not that professional ..but is behaviourally good ....
Overall i would certainly recommend ... and personally would revisit to try their seafood platter and bamboo biriyani ...
Excellent resturant of dinner. Love the atmosphere, very nicely decorated.. Sm awesome stuff like bamboo mutton, tandoor pomfret, Momtaz drumstick. They served some excellent mojitos like green apple and Pan..
Pisces one of the sea food restaurants in Kolkata! Ordered Murgh Bamboo Biriyani and found one of the tastiest Biriyani I've had. People who are willing to visit here must try this dish !!
Probably the best seafood restaurant in Kolkata.🔥
Foods are worthy comparing to the prices, great ambiance & good behaviour of people there.
We ordered Noodles with Sea Food in XO Sauce and Chilli Oyster Prawns. The food was amazing, specially the Chilli Oyster Prawns. Good dine in place for college students and families. The ambience and also the staff were pretty good. Overall had a good experience.
As the name suggests different dishes of fish are the main components of the menu. Besides that it also serves different tribal dishes, various types of kebabs & biryanis as well. If you want to have some decent seafood/tribal dish then it's definitely a good choice. We visited the place a few days ago. Located at a walking distance of 4-5 minutes from Purto Bhaban , the place is easy to find out. Coming to the decor of the place, the flickering lamp gave the room a cozy environment.
Now, the main thing - the food ... We were two in number, so we ordered one Prawn Bamboo Biryani only, which came along with a complementary raita. The quantity was adequate for two adults.Rich flavor of bamboo extracted by the circulating steam (while aroma of the rice itself remained largely contained) was the authentication of the dish. There was one egg and 7-8 medium sized prawns. Rice & the prawns everything was cooked just perfectly. The place serves one of the finest bamboo biryanis one can have in Kolkata.
Only negative point is that the service was not too prompt. But when you get such mouth watering food at the end, it's worth waiting for.
Food - 4.5/5
Decor - 4/5
Service - 3/5
All foods are awesome and quantity is up to the mark. We odered burnt chili chicken , prawn in oyster sauce , Malayasisn rice noddle and braised chicken and mushroom clay all taste different and ewually good from each other.Service time and staff behaviour all are good.
Slightly disappointed for the non availability of king fish and varity of ice creams.
Pisces in a zodiac sign which represents the symbol of fish. May be that symbolize their specialty in their menu. But who doesn’t love to have new types of food? So, to taste new types of cuisine and after a long search in Zomato, finally we got this restaurant. So let’s come & explore this place.
Location – Located in the Sector 2, Salt lake. Just min5 walking distance from the Bikash Bhawan. You’ll get direct auto route from Ultadanga.
Now come the food we tried,
->> Seafood Platter – The platter consists of Prawn, octopus & squid fries, coated with thin layer batter. The fries are served with two types of sauces. Prawn fries were crispy in nature, octopus was little bit chewy but I like the platter.
->> Fried Chilly Squid – Lite fried squid with bread crumb outer coating. Not crispy but sweet in taste & quantity is good enough for two people.
->> Chef Special Octopus – Baby octopus cooked in spicy rich sauce. Totally hot in taste & chewy texture of octopus had its own blend of flavor. Specially recommended for you, if you like super-hot & spicy seafood item.
->> Chicken Bamboo Biryani – Well, I especially like item due to its smoky aroma & flavor of spices. Rice & chicken meatballs are putted in to a bamboo & then it is burnt in low medium heat. After preparing, the rice are served directly to the plate & it taste really sinful. Love the concept & love the taste.
->> Sticky Rice – Not like traditional Japanese sticky rice but I like the texture. Long grain rice cooked with lots of small diced veggies. The stickiness was moderate but I felt lacks of salts into it. Have this one with any of the spicy curry & you’ll love it.
->> Meghalayan Mutton in Bamboo Shoot – Mid spicy this mutton side dish simply just won my heart. Three pieces of Juicy, tender mutton pieces were there & served in an earthen pot. Mild spicy this item can goes well with any types of biryani. Love the item.
->> Malaysian Seafood Rice – Long grain rice cooked with green sauce, non-veg toppings like squid, shrimps etc. Garnished with coriander leaves & then served in beautiful way. I love this one mainly due to the fresh flavor of the green sauce. Quantity is adequate & quality is good enough to fulfill your taste buds. Must try item here.
->> Fish in Thai Green Curry – Not like traditional Thai green curry, but I love this one due to the thick texture of the gravy. Small cut fish fillets are cooked in that thick gravy. Additional of red chili, lemon grass & other leaves makes this one super delicious. Perfect accompany with the Malaysian Seafood Rice.
So in conclusion, I must say this restaurant is ready to give you experiences of a new era of seafood cuisine. Food was really good & the pricing is towards little higher side, which I think totally justify the taste they serves. Overall it was really a good experience for all of us.
A beautiful seafood restaurant on the bylanes of Buddha Island at Sector 2 Salt lake.
Brightly lit and nicely decorated, this place imparts a feeling of serenity.
Added to it the food is a real bliss, quite different from the daily food we chomp around. Also being a fishterian this place is total love for me.
For starter we had Seafood platter, would rate (3/5).
Squid in Chilli Wine sauce was good (4/5) ..fresh squid is marked by its texture and softness, and this place do serve it as fresh as possible. Also on my favourite list I have Tuna in Smokey Bamboo sauce (5/5) where the Tuna was cooked to perfection, 2nd is Chicken Bamboo Biryani (5/5) which was cooked inside and served from a bamboo casket, hence imparting a wooden fragrance.
Next is Meghalayan Mutton in Bamboo Shoot (5/5), a must have dish and it tastes best with Sticky rice (3/5), it's Malaysian sticky rice where you will have a light fragrance of Ghee or Clarified butter. Its not the sticky rice as found in Japan.
And topping my favourite list is Malaysian seafood rice (5/5) and Fish in Thai Green curry (5/5).
The hospitality was topnotch. Love the experience.
Surely going to visit soon to savour rest of the menu.

This place was long planned but somehow we never made it.Finally yesterday evening we went for small nibbles and came out happy. We had ordered Gondhoraj Mint which seemed to be a much better version of mint mojito..The taste was rightly sweet and tangy and extremely refreshing.Next we ordered crispy squid which was not the best i had eaten but yes the outer crumb of it was cheesy and puffy.By then we were already full as the portion size is enough generous. But still we ordered Pomfret in Burnt chilly sauce and it completely took me off my feet. The fish was fresh, crispy on the sides and soft in the middle. The sauce was extremely yummy and the size of the fish was quite good as well.We straight jumped into dessert and Prawn channar payesh caught my eyes.It was brought in an earthenware pot and the taste was beyond imagination. It was smooth textured, creamy, rightly sweet and extremely tasty.Staff extremely polite and courteous.Seating for 60-70 is possible. My experience was extremely good and looking forward to visit again.!!! Cheers to good food
It was such a good experience..
The food was really great. Octopus, squid and Lobster were amazing..
Good place for seafood.
The staffs were nice. But the place was a bit congested though
This place is so good. Firstly the decor, every inch is decorated with some cool yet catch ideas. And then, the food. Oh My Goodness!!!! Will visit again n again. We tried Chicken Bamboo Biriyani, Mutton Lajawab, Firni (2firni. Cause 1 was not able to satisfy my tastebud) & green salad. And cost is also very very reasonable...
Stuff behavior is Soo friendly.
Loved this place a lot.

Named as a zodiac sign, Pisces (pronounced as paisiz), has to be a restaurant primarily focused to fishes. But they looked into other seafoods too - Tuna, Octopus and Squids are also available here. They also serves some typical rural Indian tribal food dishes - like bamboo biriyani and other stuffs.
We had a lunch with seafood platter, Fried Chilli Squid and bamboo biriyani. The taste was truly superb. The service was fast. The ambience was like you're in Aquaman's cave ;) but they are more focused to food. You will enjoy the ambience while having excellent foods over here.
They are opened till 10:30 pm but serves round the clock for home delivery via Swiggy/Zomato.

If you are looking for good sea food and other unusual food like tribal food etc. , one should must visit this place. Located just opposite to Purto Bhawan at Salt Lake Sector 2.
You wont find any high class ambience but it’s pretty good. Basically they have focused more on the food rather on the ambience part.
So without much extension am coming up to the food matter.
Highly Recommended – Malaysian seafood rice, Fish in green curry, Seafood Platter, Fried Chilli Squid, Tuna in Smokey sauce, Chicken Bamboo Moti Biryani and Meghalayan Mutton.

4. Bamboo Chicken and Mutton Biryani
5. Seafood (Squid and Prawn) Platter
6. Fried Chilli Octopus

The service was a tad slower initially but turned out pretty fine as we started. The food was well prepared. My recommendation, momos and the rice noodles. Do visit.
Pisces is a casual dining restaurant located in Sector II, Salt Lake. As the name suggests this place specializes in various delicacies of seafood. The place is beautifully lit up with aesthetic lights, has luxurious corners, is comfortably cozy and serves for a cheerful ambience.
The food here is skillfully served and well garnished. The prices are affordable, thus making the place a good fit for experimenting with seafood. The service here is helpful.
Some of the dishes we tried here include:
➡️Seafood Salad: This comes with squids and prawns in a white gravy, enhanced in sweetness and flavour with a wholesome touch to it.
Taste: 5/5.
➡️Kebab Platter: A special platter for selective occasions, consisting of a variety of chicken and mutton kebabs, superiorly made for a fine experience.
Taste: 4.4/5.
➡️Seafood and Prawn momos: The momos come with a yellowish tinge to them, the fillings are right stuffed with the likes of seafood and prawns. This does not smell all fishy, has a warm soakiness to it and is enjoyable.
Taste: 4.5/5.
Pocket Pinch: 200 bucks.
➡️Bamboo Chicken and Mutton Biryani: The Biryani though has a distinct flavour, lacks on a certain moistness and the mushy taste of the smokiness pertaining to the bamboo.
Taste: 3.5/5.
Pocket Pinch: 300 and 350 bucks.
➡️Seafood (Squid and Prawn) Platter: This comes with a bunch of fish kebabs, ranging to prawns and bigger of the kind. Just the right platter to get started for a seafood meal.
Taste: 4/5.
Pocket Pinch: 350 bucks.
➡️Fried Chilli Octopus: A rather experimental dish, this does taste quite fulfilling with it's stark crispiness on the outside and the generous fillings of fried octopus inside.
Taste: 4/5.
➡️Thai Red Curry: The Thai curry is as light as it should be, has the distinct milky coconut taste, but is a bit bland on the whole and can be improved upon.
Taste: 3.5/5.
Pocket Pinch: 350 bucks.
➡️Fish Rice Noodels: The rice noodles were perfectly blended in taste with the ingredients. Light, tasty and fulfilling.
Taste: 5/5.
Pocket Pinch: 200 bucks.
➡️Mixed Noodles and Chicken Manchurian: A few of their Chinese dishes, standard in taste and portion and well worth a try.
On the whole, given the place's location and variety of food served, it's an amazing eatery for experimental purposes as well as wholesome dayouts. Have a good time and let me know! 😄
Haven't visited the place but ordered via Zomato. I was amazed seeing that Zomato accepted the order from a long distance of Salt Lake to Baguiati 😋
It was a Sunday and was I craving for Biriyani. So thought of trying something different. Ordered Mutton Bamboo Biriyani. The taste was so flavourful and aromatic! The burnt smell was an add on. The packaging and delivery was also worth appreciating..
Definitely recommended ❤️
Great restaurants for seafood they have alot of variety. The food tastes awesome I special loved the being rice with seafood. The staffs and ambience is very nice.
This place is a pure bliss. If you are searching for a place that serves you the best seafood plus Mughlai plus Chinese, then you must visit Pisces.

We ordered:
• Seafood Salad : This was unique and presentation was beautiful. It had squids and prawns along with the veggies.
• Kebab Platter : We bengali have a special place in our heart for chicken, specially for kebabs and tandoors.
• Seafood and Prawn Momos : You must try these, if you are visiting Pisces.
• Fried Chilli Octopus : This is a must try dish. The best dish of Pisces, according to me.
• Seafood (Squid and Prawn) Platter : This is another must try dish.
• Thai Red Curry : It was okay-ish.
• Fish Rice Noodles : It was good, the quantity was for two.
• Mixed Noodles : Noodles were not at all oily and perfectly cooked.
• Chicken Manchurian : This was good but too mainstream
• Bamboo Chicken and Mutton Biryani : Though the bamboo flavour was not totally incorporated in the Biriyani, still the biryanis were awesome and you must try this.

Great place for sea food. Fried octopus was perfectly cooked. I also loved the prawn momos. Non veg kebab were a bit hard to bite. From the main course my favorite was the rice noodles. Bamboo Biryani was also very flavourful. Staffs were friendly but the service was a bit slow. Otherwise fine.
Excellent collection of seafood. The quality and quantity is really great. We had tuna fish in smoked sauce. Burnt garlic crab, tandel chicken in melaka sauce and spicy seafood noodles. Tuna in smoked sauce was just aweessome!! Must try.! The crab served was a huugeee one and tasted good too. Staff was courteous as well. One small negative point try not to go for the burnt sauce gravies. Otherwise its good.
Nice place for foodies ,everyone can with friende and family.you can enjoy variety of foods, many options are there for nonveg, non veg are very testy ,you should go and try the food.
Good Food, Great taste, Customised menu, Nice behaviour of staffs, Varied platter of foods...
We ordered for a buffet...they had four options to choose from 599,699,799 and 999(excluding tax)
We went for the 799 one which had a mix of seafoods and normal fish, chicken in the menu...the best part is they mailed me the menu beforehand and if required they can customise it for you..
Bamboo biryani is delicious. The crab and shiitake mushroom mono was great but spicy. The Malaysian chicken noodles was different but tasty. And we had gondhoraj mint and masala coke to keep us company as well. Overall good food.
Excellent Food... Serves in different style...every body should try to change their taste by visiting there... Thanks to my one of office colleague who had given party there, so tht we could have one of delicious foods in Kolkata, Salt Lake. And I have experienced one more noticeable thing tht we can organise small get-together parties for 15-30 members..there was small parties set up also..
This place is located at a 10 Minute walking distance from Salt Lake Karunamoyee bus stand. Worth for money and looking forward have from here again.
I have not visited this place but once home delivered bamboo biriyani. The item is quite new for me bt the taste wasn't that great. It was an average in taste but a new item for me.
Today we visited pisces for the first time in saltlake sector 2. The place was well decorated. We had fried prawns with pumpkin sauce and trust me it was amazing with looks and taste both.In main course we had malaysian rice and tuna with black bean sauce again both tested very good and specially The Malaysian rice was better than any other seafood speciality restaurents in town.In dessert we tried prawn chenna payes this was the first time we ever tried this which was again surprisingly good as of my taste.
It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming.Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal.Excellent food.I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. Best place.
Had been to this restaurant a long while back. It’s easily located on the main road of salt lake sector 2. The staff is very courteous and courteous . The ambience is very good and the sitting area is quite big. The seats are very comfortable. They specialise in sea food, in accordance to their name. The food was delicious and the mocktail was nice. All in all, you can give this place a try if you love sea food. They’ll surely not disappoint.
Very good experience. We ordered mud Crab, seafood rice and red snapper. All were delicious. It is heaven for fish/ seafood lovers. Staff and service were too good. Nothing to complain. A big thumbs up to the owner.
We had a delightful experience at Pisces. We visited this restaurant today after noon. The place was almost empty when we entered but gradually filled in. We were given a sofa seat in a nicely decorated area.I really liked the yellow lighting in the area. There was nice metallic décors which really suited. Now coming to food, i really loved the item.they served. We ordered a teriyaki fish for starters which was delicious and the flavours were spot on. For mains we ordered Malaysian rice which was less spicy as requested,we ordered king fish in pepper garlic sauce and Basa in smoked sauce.I liked the sauce of king fish better. We were so full that we had to get the basa packed(there were 8 pieces impossible to be finished). Moreover the quantity of the rice was enough for two.
The service was really good. The bill came upto around 1000 for two which seemed pretty reasonable.
I would definitely recommend Pisces to everyone living in around Salt Lake.
This is a great place for food lovers if you are into sea foods specially. Though smaller in size it has a great ambiance. It also serves tribal delicacies that are simply great. The staffs are very courteous and service time is very short. We tried an Octopus course and Chicken bamboo biriyani during our last visit, it was totally worth it.
A very humble yet surprisingly fancy place that always has specials up its sleeves. This place has a seafood speciality but they're Bamboo dishes are done specials that other restaurants must be jealous of. We have had Bamboo chicken biriyani, Bamboo mutton, Meghalaya special chicken and Prawn handi biriyani. The biriyani was so light that it melted in mouth and it also had so much meat in it. The bamboo Mutton was soft as well. Prawn handi biriyani had so much ghee that it smelt like a pot of pure ghee. Basically the place is a little piece of happiness for any celebration or whatnot. Go for basa fish, sniper fish, squid, octopus and so many types of noodles.
It's authentic, it's a bit on the costlier side, but the food tastes amazing, the waiters are very courteous, overall definitely worth a try. Also would like go to add, that the mutton pieces both in gravy and the Biriyani was melting-in-the-mouth soft.
Good variety of Sea, Tribal, Continental Indian Food. Foods are tasty & come with good price.
Staffs are very helpful act like true host make you feel at home.
Go & enjoy.
An amazing restaurant to dine at, all must visit this place who are fond of Biriyani. I had the Bamboo Chicken Biriyani which was a killer for me. I just loved the taste of every bit of it. The ambience is very calm and pleasant. The waiters were very helpful and kind to us. The taste of every food items are just amazing. Must try the Biriyani and the sea foods available here. I loved the restaurant and would suggest everyone to visit here for an amazing experience.
Awesome place to hang around with friends and family....Sumptuous seafood...A huge variety of fish ,prawan, Lobster, carbs and many more. Beautiful interior
If you are a sea food lover like me then bookmark this restaurant in your bucket list. I had a delighted experienced visiting here. "Special sea food soup" and "Bamboo Biryaani" is recommended.
This restaurant have nice ambiance. They have done the decor with amazing handicrafts. Staffs are also cordial. Must try for sea food. Prawn items are good. Even we tried Meghalaya Mutton which was well marinated. Price is also reasonable. Menu have so maney dishes. Location is only accessible by auto and cab.
The food and ambience are above expectations! The staff was incredibly courteous and made our meal special.
The food was quite satisfactory. The interior and tge ambience was great the service too was prompt.
First visit to this place. Located in a very quiet neighbourhood. For people bringing cars, its recommended that you call ahead as parking is done on the discarded footpath next to the restaurant.
Food: We ordered the Smoked Bamboo Chicken Biriyani, Special Tribal Chicken in Green Gravy, Burnt Chilli Sauce Pomfret, Smoky Sauce Fish and finally 2 Blue Lagoons to wash it down with.
While the amount is quite good, it's a tad bit on the expensive side.
The Biriyani, I found it to have the same taste as the run of the mill type Biriyanis. It was quite dry and a bit salty for my taste.
The tribal chicken in green gravy was nothing tribal like. Tasted good but similar to the chilli chicken type dish.
The burnt chilli sauce Pomfret is a must have!! Same with the smokey sauce Fish. Sweet and sour and made really well.
Overall, it should be visited once at least. I have to try the Malaysian Rice as recommended by my peers! Looking forward to it. Cheers!
Good ambiance... Friendly staff... Food was good but their signature dish smoked bamboo chicken had no such unique taste...
The ambience ,food and decor everything was great. Went there for the 2nd time and loved every thing about the place. It is a small restaurant with great menu. It offers totally different types of food which you don't get everywhere. It offers great variety of seafood and tribal food which is fascinating for daring food lovers like me...
Their chicken bamboo biriyani and smoked bamboo mutton is a must try dishes..
