Kolkata's one of the oldest cinemall has turned into a restaurant, Food Giant company KFC & PIZZA HUT has overtake this place and renowned the building and install there setup , now the building is looking quite cool.
But it's a harsh true that slowly we are loosing our single screen cinema hall.
This is one of the Premier Cinema Hall located in Esplanade Area. This Cinema screens Bengali, Hindi and English Films.
The Cinema runs 4 shows daily. The show time is as follows:
Noon Show : 12.30 pm
Mat Show: 3.15 pm
Eve Show: 6.00 pm
Night: 8.30 pm.
Mostly A grade flims are broadcasted
One of the old cinema house in Dharmatalla Area. It is located near S.N. Banerjee Road,Kolkata . Ticket prices are fare and the cinema is age old so u may have to compromise on various factors..

Regal cinema hall was one of the oldest cinema halls in Kolkata.Location is in Esplanade and back side of new market and Kolkata Municipal corporation.In past people used to go to this cinema hall but now unfortunately the hall is closed.If I am not wrong this cinema hall didn't believe in running shows of latest release but they always dependent on old movies.These days people enjoy movies online and they prefer going to Multiplex so it was difficult for the regal authority to run.Now since hall is closed so it will always be in Memories

Price to facilities provided is perfect. Those who have given fewer stars rating, I have a question for them..." Do you expect Inox facilities at such a cheap ticket price?"
Pros:
1) Prime location, in the heart of esplanade. Only 1 min from esplanade metro gate no 4.
2) All Local foods allowed inside. Except alcohol.
3) Providing vip seats @Rs 220 having sofa with enough leg space
4)Fully air conditioning along with ceiling fans available
5) Very Big screen
6) Online booking at Bookmyshow is available.
Cons:
1) Dirty and small bathroom
2) Picture quality 6 out of 10
3) seats in Gold class @ Rs 80 don't have push back and having medium leg spaces.

Not quite a well-known cinema hall in the era of multiplexes.But the interior of the hall is very cool and soothing.the ac and fans work perfectly,quite unlike many single-screen theatres.The picture quality is also good with reasonable ticket price.It is situated in Esplanade,Kolkata.
The fight of regal cinema with muktiplexes has at last come to an end. Its now being transformed into a KFC Outlet opening shortly.

Although the hall is not quite in a good condition but still picture quality and sound quality is great ... Seats are wooden which can be a bit uncomfortable but then it is an air-conditioned hall. All this at only ₹70 😀
