Renuka is a very old restaurant and it is in just 10 minutes of walking distance from my place.
I ordered a chicken liver masala, Fried rice, mutton biryani, and chilli chicken....
Fried rice was the best one which I loved from that outlet. And the other one thing was the well behaved staffs. Great job.

I am the big fan of this outlet. Biryani quality was not very bad, Was normally goood, but was very nicely prepared.
Tried a plate of Veg Fried Rice with the Manchurian and both were really amazinggggggggggggg.... Simply good ! Always my point is 5 to 5. Fried rice was not good actually it was damnnnn better... And Manchurian was "okay". Ambience is also like ok. Price is reasonable. Quantity is good. After all all service was just like goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood...!

Even if they increase the price to 150 Rs it will still sell great. I think these guys had bad cooks in the past resulting in poor ratings but if the food I ate is any inidcator of the other dishes the this place is a 5/5.

Ordered Chicken Drumsticks, mix fried rice & Chilli Chicken. Drumsticks were average. Mixed fried rice was oily and bland with less fillings. Chilli Chicken was nice but from taste to it's freshness that was good.

The restaurant is specious. Once you enter you will feel so. During the pick time, it's a little hard to get a seat inside. But the main thing of a restaurant is a good food at the end. And they certainly have it.
Some days before I went there with my friends and trust me the restaurant was made my day just happy ... We actually went kolkata, Dum Dum, Nagerbazar for our cricket match. The team leader trained to us in there. When we visited Dum Dum, Nagerbazar we stayed there in a Hotel. And one day we went to the Renuka Snacks for had lunch. We were in 5 boys only and there we saw a little place for sitting. Yes, also we saw that the place was neat and clean also. Fine dine in, I mean very simple decoration was that. But the place was so very much clean. For lighting, it was very disappoint matter that there was very low lighting. But after all there foods were so good to taste. We were really enjoyed there foods or also there cool place. Like it . My friends were felt so much happy to had there food. If we will visit again in kolkata in our near future then we will surely go there for lunch or dinner also.
Went there for a friend's Birthday treat.

3 days before I visited kolkata with my younger brother Raju. He works in Nager Bazar of Dum Dum. And there we valso tried lunch in Renuka Snacks restaurant. Hmmmmm.... great taste of there biryani. They used to serve good biryani, but the quality of the biryani was not high figh ! Like normal street side biryani rice quality. That was one of the small disappoint subject but another side all are good ...
Ambience was good also there foods quality and quantity was very good. Last time I visited with my mother in evening time and had the flavoursome chicken biryani... Chicken was very fresh and also the rice quality was very very good. Place was very licking, my mother was like the biryani.... After all it was good experience...

It needs to improve its ambience and décor.. Chowmin is good but take away is the only option as one cannot imagine sitting there.. Previously it was better but now I am disappointed.. Please improve..

Today, I got chance to visit this place for having lunch with my hubby and my father-in-law... It was a good experience for my family as all of them enjoyed the ambience of the place... Food was tasty and were served at a very reasonable rate than other restaurant of same category at that place... Location was good just on the junction of nagerbazar and jessore road.. I loved the Palak Paneer here, as the Palak Paneer is indeed very delicious in here compared to other restaurants.

We ordered from their Beverages menu but they had none. They had some readymade drink and we ordered Spicy Guava in goli soda bottle. Goli soda bottles are generally glass bottles but it was a plastic bottle. The drink was watery. So I didn't like it much.
The food was good. We ordered for plain tandoori roti & butter chicken. Chicken was perfectly cooked.
Didn't like the service much. Order was taken after 10 mints of getting our seat.
Food were fantastic. We tried Chicken Tandoori which was mind blowing, Delhi Butter chicken ( little sweet for me) , Butter naan and soft drinks. Very good atmosphere, nice surroundings and very humble behavior of the employees.
Road side dhaba atmosphere with Air conditioner and furnished inside. Pretty clean and modern place. Though the ambience is not quite of a dhaba but of a resturant, but the food is good. Just don't try their beverages, they are overpriced.
The price is a bit of high side, and the quantity to price ratio is not so good here. Hope they increase the quantity a bit.

We visited here 2 years ago..food was good. We ordered Kebabs, Plain tandoori roti & butter chicken,Dal makhaani, Mutton Biriyani & lassi.
Theme of this restaurant is punjabi dhaba. Food is served in steel plate like a typical dhaba. Interiors are very attractive, made out of spoons, kettles, tractor etc. Staff members are well behaved.
Finally the main thing-food. It is also good. Quality food is served here. Recommending this place for food lovers.

The ambiance was really great. Very beautifully decorated place. Sitting arrangements are also very comfortable.
Here we tried chicken tandoori, Amul cheese chicken tikka as starters. The chicken tikka was really very tasty. And tandoori chicken was average.
In main course, we had Mutton biryani which was okay in taste and Pressure cooker chicken curry , I must say that it's gravy was awesome. It was so good that we ordered tandoori roti to have the roti along with it.
In dessert, we had kulfi which was also good taste.

Restaurants are celebrating the season’s best foods. But the one that caught my attention comes from RANG DE BASANTI DHABA, the quintessential Punjabi food haven that people from CITY OF JOY knows very well about.
The special menu available is making the most of the seasonal produce bursting of authentic Punjabi flavour.
Starting with SARSON KA SAAG, MAKKE KI ROTI - the ultimate winter classic. This bomb combo is traditionally paired with a block of white butter and jaggery, which I thought was an odd combination but what a world of difference it made when I tasted it together! Recommended!
The delightful PAYA SHIRI SHORBA, TOMATO SHORBA and CHICKEN MAKH MALI TARE were cooked in a variety of rustic spices, the thin stew were bursting with soothing flavours perfect for the nippy weather.
For their sweet endings, GAJAR KA HALWA made with finely grated carrots and oodlesof ghee, topped with nuts. A soul-warming treat!
Amidst the cheer and burps, from beverages I loved the BASANTI GOLI SODAS that were not part of the special winter menu but I highly recommend their BHAYANKAR THANDA COLA to try when you go there next.
