The place is inside the Spencer, south city mall. They basically focus on Chinese cuisines and Lebanese cuisines. Went there today to have evening food ended up ordering Sawarma Salad, Chicken fried rice , and Bar-B-Q chicken wings. The food according to price and quality it’s really quite good. The amount aka the portion for one is not at all adequate for one in the tally of price tags except the salad.
My recommendation quotient for this place is 7.5/10 . Will recommend for the taste of the food..
Shawarma salad is one of my all-time favourites. I am so addicted to it that, I especially go there to eat this. The combination of chicken mixed with fresh raw veggies and delicious salad dressing is just lip-smacking.

Shifting from Shawarma Roll to Salad was a wonderful experience as I love the preparation so much to have ,except for a few pieces of burnt meat the dish is extremely delicious and flavourful. Quite often go to order this favourite dish of mine from this place only.
We just love the chicken shawarma from this place. I tasted this heavenly lebanese dish for the 1st time from this place only when it was opened inside south city mall, Spencer's food court. Today we ordered Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Chicken Shawarma Salad and Paneer Shawarma Wrap.
This is one of my favourite at South city mall inside Spencer's. Their Shawarmas are definitely mouth watering. I simply love them. The Chinese combos are also good. Good quality food and quantity is good too.

Their special dish is the Chicken Shwarms Salad.It's delicious.But,please tell them to make it without tomato or any sour ingredient.Then,it's fantastic!

Came across this small outlet in side Spencer's at the South City Mall , the Shawarma salad is a must try here ( I have not tasted the other items in their menu ) . The chicken in the Shawarma I fantastically cooked , Mr Levon who is making this fantastic dish is a good person , an listens to your requests . Visited this place two months ago. It's located in the food court of Spencers in South City Mall. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a chicken shawarma. Chicken sandwich was average. It mainly had salad and mayonnaise in it. It was served with sauce. Chicken shawarma was delicious. It was very tasty. It had shredded chicken pieces in it along with capsicum etc. If you ever plan to order from here, do try the Shawarma here. It's highly recommended. You won't repent. I just loved it, the only reason I'm rating it 4.

Have been eating from here since its inception around a decade back now. Love the idea of having a healthy snack,something which is very tasty yet not fried. That is a rare combo. Have been eating their Chicken Shawarma Roll and Shawarma Salad made right in front of our eyes. So basically what you see is what you get. Oh the crunch you hear inside your head while devouring the shawarma because of the chicken and the veggies are unparallel. And the abundance mayo that they give is just too good and an ultimate combo.
My rating of 4 is for old time's sake as recently I've seen they've kept a new cook(nothing personal) and the quality has become progressively bad. Last couple of times that i had shawarma from here i would give it a 2. The quantity and quality both have come down I'm afraid. To my utter dismay they had hardly put in any mayo on the inside. Cost cutting or just being lackadaisical I'm not sure.That's very unfortunate as in south city we have gone a zillion times and chicken shawarma being one of the prime attractions of this place. They're just being oblivious to the fact that there's so much competition around.

Tastewise i would give them a rating of 4 out of 5. The quantity of chicken given is sufficient for one person. They prepare a mix of chicken, mayonnaise, sauces, veggies and then pack it inside a pita bread for Shawarma Wrap or serve it with a batonnet of beet and green sauce for Shawarma Salad.
You may want to give it a try if you happen to be in Spencers.

The best shawarma in town is the one into which u tuck in here. The chicken is perfectly roasted with that hint of smokey smell and served with the lip smacking dressing n crunchy veggies.. Simply de-lucious... The shawarma salad and sandwich are equally good.. Their hot dog is however just a spongy chickn frankie in a bread roll.... But their shawarma is lik no other in town...

My main point of interest to visit this food joint is their chicken shawarma which is pretty good in taste and pocket friendly too. Their chicken shawarma comes in two options, in salad (around 135 bucks) or with wraps (around 110 bucks). Both are equally good and enjoyable.
Apart from their shawarma, their combo meals are worth to be mentioned. I had tried both their noodles/fried rice and chilli chicken combo and both are pretty descent. Maybe the noodles combo is slightly better as I had found the rice is bit stiff.

The South City basement outlet inside Spencers has been around since 2009-2010 i think and i have been going there ever since. They really do serve the best shawarmas in town, as their punchline says. I have tried a few other shawarma joints but none come even close to this.

The entire food court inside the South City Mall is closed for renovation (everyone knows that now). So we opted for the food court inside the Spencer's and I went for this one because there were not too many options. And to be very honest I feel I should have tried it much before for it (we ordered Chicken Shawarma Salad) was really good. I opted for the takeaway option and the guys at the counter were very cooperative.

Me and my parents ate there after shopping. As was not too hungry and the mall was under work we opted for this shop mainly seeing the shawarma counter.
We had chilli baby corn and the shawarma salad. The baby corn was crispy and really well done. Always a fav mall snack growing up and every mall has it but this was good.

This is a small outlet in south city Spencer's food zone. We tried their shawarma wrap before. It's very delicious and much larger in size than the other usual shawarma rolls.
Today we have tried a new item..which was non veg shawarma sandwich. It seems to be a normal chicken sandwich by it's name, but it was soo good and tasty that we were forced to pack another after having it. It was prepared by putting the sawarma kebabs with mayonnaise and veggies within the breads. It's a must-try item for shawarma lovers indeed.

With 80% of South City being under renovation, the Spencer's Hypermarket food area is the only place to grab a quick bite after hours of shopping. My mum and I turned up at this stall last evening and ordered the chicken shawarma. As someone who grew up in the Middle East, all I can say is that's NOTHING like a shawarma but whatever it is, it tastes fine. I don't mind it at all, although the usage of the name is laughably dubious at best.

I happen to be a huge fan of Lebanese food and I have to admit that the shawarmas here are delicious. They give a lot of mayonnaise in their rolls and it comes with a green chutney which goes quite well with it. I had previously tried the branch at Forum Mall and found this to be better than that branch. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite.

This shop is located inside Spencer's at the basement of South City Mall. We tried their Chicken Shawarma. I must say it tastes good and it's really very filling. One roll is totally worth of the 150 bucks in terms of contents and quantity. The roll had good quantity of chicken and veggies. They put potato fries inside the roll which was a nice addition. The spicy mayonnaise is good in taste too. They serve the Shawarma with spicy green sauce and chillies and onions. But the flaw was the roll that we were served was a bit salty. The salt often overpowered the taste of the mayo and chicken. And the chicken bits felt crunchy im our mouths at times probably due to being too fried. But it's a good place to have a lunch that fills your stomach and you won't go hungry in at least 6 hours. I'd like to go and have another Shawarma roll without the saltiness this time.

I have had their Shawarma rolls countless times and everytime they have successfully satisfied me with the kind of product served and also the staffs are very quick with the work which is appreciated.
I have only tasted their Chicken Shwarma Salad which was absolutely delicious. They made me fall in love with Lebanese cuisine. There was an abundance of chicken as well as veggies in the dish. And the mayo just added to the taste. It was amazing.
P.S. They could bring down their prices a bit. Other Lebanese outlets charge much less.

'Ar-Han-Thai' is located at the Spencers food court in the basement of South City Mall. They are popular for their Shawarmas. Their Chinese is quite good. We tried 'Stir Fried Chicken'.
The dish was fresh,nicely made and tasted good, also their service was fast.
Though finding seats in this food court is a difficult job.....
This Arabian-Lebanese joint is in the basement section of South City within Spencer's, which is a good marketing strategy. People while/after shopping specially have bites here.
Once I tried this joint. I wouldn't say it was extraordinary or too bad..just that it was rather on the moderate side.
I mainly stickied with Shwarmas...had a chicken shwarma wrap. The filling had loads of chicken and veggies both tossed in mayo...but mayo could've been used way more to enhance it's taste. Base or pita bread was finely made...so combination was going hand in hand. But as I had way better shwarmas in Kolkata, I wouldn't say that this was perfect...but it was not bad either.

I love Lebanese food & this place is one of my favorite for that. They have a counter in Spencers of South City mall. You have to take the food & sit in the normal food court area.

I have tried their paneer shwarma roll, chicken shwarma sandwich, chicken shwarma salad etc. Anything you take, its always yum & enough for a person.
Again I love lebanese, so I like every item there. There are many others who dont. So its upto you if you wanna choose this particular cuisine. But definitely worth trying.
Its for the prices that I am not giving full rating coz other similar Lebanese places are little cheap than this one.

A good place to have some quality Lebanese food on a limited budget after shopping at Spencers. The chicken shwarma salad was quite satisfactory in terms of taste and quantity. As I have mention in another review for the Forum outlet, the salad was quite heavy for one person, so it took a little time to finish off. But all in all, a good experience. Would visit again soon.
shawarma is the signature here. they popularized shawarma initially in the forum mall. the person who makes it here is also associated with them for years. he is an expert. no other place can beat the taste of shawarma u get in here. my tongue waters by the memories of this.

Ar-Han-Thai is part of the food court inside Spencers near the exit. It is popular for the Shawarmas. In fact, this ace made Shawarma popular in Kolkata. Loaded with creamy goodness and spicy roasted chicken pieces, their Shawarma might be a little expensive but is amazing in taste, and will completely fill you up! But be careful - don't expect to get it during the starting hours, because it takes a pretty long time to prepare the chicken, with which, I must add, they are very generous.
I have also tried other dishes and cuisines from this store. Their Chinese is quite good, and the quantity is satisfactory. The only problem is that their service is quite slow. Also, the seating is often a problem, especially in the busy hours, though that's a problem in general with the food court, and Ar-Han-Thai cannot be singled out for this. Major points go to the heavenly shawarmas.

This is a small outlet in the ground floor food court of southcity mall. To tell the truth this is where i first tasted Shawarma salads and wraps. They are served in thermocol plates thus eating is rather a job, but taste wise the salads are superb though the wraps at times were under cooked....
Another pocket friendly food stall at southcity spencers. Although i found it a bit overrated but then being a foodie when you have those yummy wraps infront of you,you just can't wait to have it.

Honestly I have deducted 0.5 for ambience.. I personally did not like the idea of getting seated in a mall and having some delicious food. Yes they make it perfect. Well cooked, cheesy and spicy. Loved it so much that got a Shawarma salad packed home. Awesome food.

Went there last week on a chilly Christmas afternoon. Really had a hard time finding the parking as it was Christmas and there was a lot of rush. However, finally found parking in this mall. There was just so much rush everywhere. If things were bad in the shops and other places in the mall, it was terrible in the food court as you could hardly get a place to sit and there was lot of rush at the counters. Luckily due to demonetization, all the shops were accepting credit cards as otherwise normally you need to pay cash to get a prepaid card using which you need to make your purchases. The kids enjoyed their rides on the 2nd floor. Overall, the mall is Outstanding 🙃

There are restrooms at all the floors.The restrooms are big and clean. It has nearly all the multinational clothing brands and other accessories brands there. At the top floor there is a very very large food court.If you looking for movie you have Inox there . he movie experience is better here than the other multiplex in the city. You also have the options for Multistoried car parking there...

Definitely a structure to adore .. with lifts escalators and staircase to roam around the mall..
South city mall has a huge space and many outlets for various brands along with a good food court on top floor with variety of options to choose from.. one can also enjoy open terrace restaurant along with in house sitting.. the space available is enough for 500 people at one time.. can be a bit costly when compared to outside outlet of same brands..

The South City Mall is probably Kolkata's biggest shopping mall only comparable to Quest. It has an excellent collection of all luxury brands such as Sephora, Zara, Armani Exchange, Vero Moda, Charles and Keith etc which you won't find anywhere else in Kolkata. Another really good thing about the mall is that you can just walk in here to get a taste of Kolkata and it is always decked up in accordance to the festivities going on around that time. During Durga Puja the mall is nicely decorated with a Bengali theme while during Christmas it has a beautiful different kind of decoration. It also has a wide variety of stalls in the food court that you could just visit and gorge on all the yummy food.
